Stayed here multiple times. During two of my stays I found bed bugs and blood on the sheets. The head manager refunded me ONLY $10 after the first complaint. The second time I reported it, I also brought evidence of bed bugs and photos, and She said "I have to send maintenance to check the room. " Subsequently because I complained, brought evidence, she had me placed on the " Do not rent list. So therefore I recommend this place to no one, horrible service and management!

Yes I like Red Carpet Inn I'm staying here for like 3 months they do have internet that sucks though I like it because it's at a reasonable price is like apartment to me only difference is I don't have a stove in the kitchen but do they do first you the microwave that you can go in by the office or one of the washeteria my friends are real nice the people is for like they don't have all the police and stuff prostitute they don't have nothing yet and that's one of the good things so yes if I refer anybody I would refer you here is better than Fondren Inn.

This location wasn't very good on the cleaning side. I know it is an old building but it was worn out and the cleaning was not kept up on. It just wouldn't be the type of place I would feel comfortable in staying at. There was a lot of maintenance issues. I was their seeing a friend and there were things like lights, holes in walls, screws missing, etc that were wrong.

The place is great if it's all you can afford… but it's disgusting. Refrigerators that have mold, deco is from early 80's at best and so are the bugs. But it beats sleeping in your car.

Got the room for a friend. Apart from the filthy room floors that seemed like it has never been vacuumed. The front desk was super nice and room and surrounding looked cleaner than I expected for the price.

The very basics of a motel. The rooms are large, but everything else is very dated. They have a gate for security that can be easily bypassed by going through the lobby. The hallways are kind of run down, and the window units barely cool a room to tolerable. Otherwise, the rooms are clean and the motel is located fairly close to a major highway, a few restaurants, and some shops.

I wish I could give this horrible establishment no stars. Every single person there is rude and discriminatory. They kicked people out left and right, refused them refunds and stole their belongings. Then proceeded to call the cops on people. Their fridge malfunctioned and started leaking water, I called and they told me not to worry about it, that it does that. So when water slowly but surely leaked into their hallway, they came banging on the door at 7 in the morning, blamed my sleeping children and then tried to kick us out. I had already paid two weeks and they told me no refunds and I had 24 hrs to get out. They quickly realize they cannot violate my rights as a customer by threatening to call the cops on me. I told then to go right ahead, I needed to report the theft and wrongdoings they had been committing anyways. So for the next week, they refused to fix or replace the fridge. It continued to leak. They refused us room service. Turned off our keys then refused to recharge them. They were just rude and nasty. Luckily I have tons of videos of the fridge leaking, them being nasty and threatening me and every single piece of paperwork. Even a nasty little note the owner wrote. I would suggest anyone else they tried to pull this scam on bring up legal action. From what I gathered, they leave faulty equipment in your room, then blame you when it malfunctions, kicking you out, refusing you a refund "for damages" and trying to intimidate you by threatening to call the cops.

There were roaches. The ac unit was rigged with a wall thermostat. It was very unfriendly. I did not like it at all. Motel 6 is better, yeah I know right what could be worse than motel 6…

For the price, it was fair. There were piles of trash which I disregarded. We had a hurricane a little over a month ago and there's more trash than trucks available so I can't hold that against them. My main issue is that other guests could sit in the parking lot blaring music with bad profanity. It went on twenty minutes before I got up myself and got dressed and went out. I could hear every word that the people upstairs said. If it wasn't for the fact that it was so noisy, I would give it 4 stars. They lost the 5th star because the coffee was instant.

Horrible place to stay in! I think they don't even change the mattress sheets. I woke up the next day and I was itchy all over my body, even I placed a small sheet that I had and didn't work. They say that they offer a continental "free breakfast" which is not true at all. I mean if you just drink a small cup coffee literally then, you could disagree. We'll never go back to that place!

Ok look they are ok if you need a place to stay but if you have a guest from another room they have to go downstair first which is crazy outside guest yes gueat that stays here no thata crazy. 2nd they have two micowaves for both buildings. Some phones dont work in room. But it is home for now so whatever.

Everybody gotta always have something negative to say bout this hotel like your house don't have roaches. Stop the madness. I mess with this hotel the long way. It's old what you expect. I loved it back in the day and it's cool now. Be blessed you had someway to lay your head! Ungrateful ppl if you didn't like it you had 15mins to get your money back!

I wish I could give half a star. Where do I begin. This motel is the nastiest place I EVER been to. They are overpriced and you can't have ANY visitors after 11. My boyfriend came to visit and they made a big scene saying he had to leave the property because it was 11:05 pm. They clean the room only on Tue and Fri and only give you 2 towels for the week. The bathroom is covered in mold but U can't smoke a cigarette in the room. I stayed there a week and was offered drugs and harassed. It is not safe there. When I went to the bathroom there was chunks of throw up every where. They lied about the free breakfast. It smells like stagnant water in the room. The bed is super uncomfortable, the pillows feel like rocks, the front desk people are rude as heck. Someone took a crap in the stairway and on the floor in the wallway. They have a major roach issue. They really should be condemned. I can go on and on. It was the worst experience ever! The red carpet on Gulf freeway is WAY better or astro inn motel. Please make this your last option.

It is not up to date or code and completely overpriced for the overall experience!

Staff ok to deal with; manager completely rude.

A place that takes care of families, with Wi-Fi, movie channels, maid service twice a week, guarded security, centrally located to many places and bus routes.

Stayed here a few weeks, with mice, bed bugs & roaches. Lol there is no free breakfast. It's just watered down cafe and stale generic hunny buns (they only have 12, so hurry down) The building smells like cigarettes, mold & mildew. This is a typical sleazy flop motel here you will see; prostitutes, an occasional druggie having a seizure or bad trip in the halls. You will hear; loud music & women being beaten, screaming for help I also saw a homeless couple sleeping under a 18 wheeler trailer on the property, after they were forced to check out. The people are very rude and nasty at the front desk. The housekeepers stole small things from me when I wasn't there. When I checked out I was refused my deposit back.

Its kind of old and some of the people or ghetto but thats because its not super expensive but the management is fairly nice and the people that work here are all Hispanics exept for the management are orientals. Theres two sides here the back and the front the back is only one story high and the front is three stories high the back is less expensive than the front I live in the front side its located by car max off of southwest freeway and you can pay daily here or weekly maid girls come by in the mourning around eleven or twelve aski g to clean ur room.
