I have stayed here in the past, at least 6 times. Boy what a change this visit. After being here for 5 hours and at 1130 at night they woke us up and told us to move our car or it would be towed. Couldn’t that have happened at an earlier time. The toilet was broken my hubby had to fix it. The bed was too soft and a sack breakfast made check out the best part of our stay!

So, no shower curtain in our bathroom… Front desk girl isn't the least concerned. Her only suggestion was to call housekeeping. We are trying to head out early this morning and don't have time for that! She wouldn't entertain any reimbursement compensation… Since a bed and shower are the primary things we book a room for, it seems outrageous that the hotel isn't the least concerned… We don't plan to stay with Holiday Inn again.

The hot tub wasn't working and they gave no advance notice. The only reason we booked to stay there was for the hot tub. The refrigerator in our room didn't work. They said they would fix it and never did. Our shower didn't drain properly, so we were standing in water while trying to take a shower. The ice machine on our floor didn't work at all. The pool was supposed to be heated, but was cold. Other guests were also complaining about it. When we went to ask the front desk if they could turn the heater up a little, the lady working was rude about it and never did anything about it. Room service didn't clean the room while we were out. They made the beds and that was it. There was still a lot of dirt on the floor because it rained all weekend. The staff was rude and acted like they didn't care about anything at all.

Holiday inn Express are always enjoyable a little pricey but the breakfast is worth it to me. Pet friendly too.

Checked in, Asked where to park motorcycle with trailer where it would be safe, parked where was told. Woke up to be robbed of our gas can which was attached to trailer. Manager said she was sorry, it has never happened before, huh… Sign telling you to lock up valuables was blocked by tall bushes. AVOID if you can. Room was clean, a/c not very good.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the a/c was not working well and rattled and kept waking me up cause it made so much noise every time it clicked on.

Beautiful hotel. Several maintenance issues need addressing, however, that makes me nervous of the overall thoroughness & attention to detail that keeps a hotel clean & health-hazard free. Outside of that, enjoyed my stay.

New facility! Overnight clerk CeCe was awesomely pleasant! Room was clean and refreshing! Easy access to outside. This HIE has Route 66 decor. Beds were comfortable.

Fairly cheap pet friendly place. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Not a whole lot to do around the area though. Overall enjoyed my stay.

Nice hotel. Just a couple minutes walk away from Big Vern's restaurant, which has great food. Also right next to a Route 66 location: the U-Drop-Inn. Great hotel if you're a tourist.

Very poor desk service. We called about an hour ahead to be sure there would be a room available and were quoted $96 tax in. Also the gentleman said they could not accept caa (Canada's version of aaa) for a discount. When we arrived, before he discovered we had called ahead, he quoted us $106 + tax. When my mom told him we had called ahead and the price he had given us over the phone, he quickly claimed he could give the room for $99 with our caa membership, which now apparently could work? We took the room because it was late and we were tired, but regretted it in the morning when daylight revealed how dusty the room was. You could write your name on the TV stand, it was that dusty. The only good thing was the breakfast, there was a good selection and it was fresh.

Don't ever remember being there but I just have to guess that it's a nice place.

Service was great. Breakfast was amazing in the morning. I was surprised that we even had a mini living room with a couch in the room. Everything was fantastic.

The room was great! Clean and very roomy! The bed was super comfortable and huge (king suite) breakfast was ok nothing to write home about. Wifi was good. There were a larger amount of work tricks in the parking lot so half the hotel emptied early however we were easily able to sleep through it. The room was much better insulated then other hotels we have visited.

Downstairs rooms are pet friendly, and our first room (101) smelled like it. They were very accommodating and moved us to another downstairs room that was fine. Breakfast was pretty good with eggs, sausage, biscuits, oatmeal, cereal, etc.

It was a bummer the ceiling fan was broken but it was very comfortable and clean. Would stay there again.

Hotel was fine with a pleasant staff — — until I woke up at 4:30am to more than a dozen bugs in various places in my room. They seemed to come from out of nowhere and multiplied once I turned the lights on. I am now having to call corporate customer service because despite me letting the front desk know of my situation (as I nearly ran out of the place at 4:45am) there was no adjustment to my bill.

We always stop here when driving to OklaHOMEa. Nice breakfast, clean room, indoor pool. I'll be there again next week.

Just want to say thank u to Courtney she is the breakfast lady there very great lady awesome personality love her.

Totally worth the cost. Large, clean, welcoming place. Best toiletries, including makeup removal wipes. Awesome shower head options. Soft and firm pillows. Decaf coffee option. Largest variety of breakfast I've ever encountered! Hidden closet in room. Awesome gym and pool. Only complaint is it was boiling hot in every room of the hotel, they said AC was broken, many other guests were complaining at 645am from the heat inside.

Some parts are showing their age, that's about the worst I can say for this place. Everything was pretty good. The staff was wonderful, the rooms were spotless, the breakfast was filling and the coffee was excellent. Not everything was brand new, but we've never had a dissappointing night at holiday inn.

We were traveling across the country and stopped for a night. Quite an odd place. There were two strange men loitering around the hotel for about an hour and alarming many visitors. Found out later they were there for hotel business, not sure why they didn't know better. The room had a bad smell coming from the A/C, which wasn't even very cold. Bed was comfy and breakfast was sufficient. The woman at the desk in the morning was unprofessional and extremely rude when I asked to check out. For the price we expected a lot more!

Staff was friendly, breakfast was good. Some items in room were in need of maintenance (floor tile, etc. ), but not enough to make a poor stay. I would stay here again.

This hotel is one of the best. Their property is relatively new and always clean. The staff are professional and courteous. They always have top notch hot breakfasts with labeled food and coffee and cookies for guests upon arrival in the afternoon and evening.

Worst hotel I've ever seen. First room I checked into the bed looked like Chewbacca shed his winter coat, second and third rooms both had hair in the bed. Gross! I will not be staying here tonight!

I'm staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Shamrock now. What an utter disappointment! I promise you that it took the person at the desk at least 45 minutes to register me. She seemed new. She didn't know the computers. And when I was tired of waiting I said, "Can you just cancel my room? I'm going somewhere else. " She said, "I've already run your card and the computer won't let me cancel. I've called someone who should be here soon (it was someone who wasn't even on-site — was someone who was at home and had to drive over to the hotel to fix the problem). I have a pet, so I was booked into a "pet room". It smelled so heavily of Lysol and mothballs that it was hard to get any rest. I have a friend staying on the second floor right now. She says the entire hall smells like sewage. I haven't gone up there to check. I parked my car at the rear of the building since my room was closest to that door. I used my key to get into the door. Then I went outside with their dilapidated luggage cart to get my luggage. When I went to come back inside the hotel in the back, I found that the door hadn't shut completely, so I didn't even need a key to get inside the hotel. This happened one other time. My friend on the second floor went to the ice machine and found it to be out of order, so she had to come downstairs in her pajamas to get ice. The pool's boiler was out of order, so there really wasn't access to a pool. At least they advertised that by taping a big note to the front desk.
