I really enjoyed staying here. It reminded me of my childhood. The motel is very well maintained and the staff is friendly and make you feel welcomed. We arrived in 100+ temps and the air was running full blast in our room and complimentary water anticipating our arrival. Awesome place and awesome people.

This officer was an answer to a prayer to find a safe hotel to stay in. He led us to this hotel. The owner of the hotel was very nice and accommodating for children. Nice quiet clean room. And really appreciate the complimentary water ect. Very nice (clean) breakfast.

We recently went on a family vacation during the weekend of 4th of July. Many places were booked and overpriced. Not only did this establishment have enough run for all 6 of us, it was clean, incredibly affordable, the owner was incredibly accommodating and kind, and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was amazing! Located right on historic route 66, we definitely plan on revisiting this wonderful place!

We are traveling Route 66 and this is one of the best places we have found to stay the night. A very clean, inexpensive, and relaxing place. The owner does a fabulous job of taking care of the motel. Definitely would recommend!

Great service and owners are amazing! Called us in advance to check on ETA and gave us directions so we don’t get lost. We had a room with three beds for a great rate and room was ready when we arrived, as promised. They hand delivered additional towels and shampoo without us asking. Room is very clean.

Very nice, clean, and safe. We stayed here based on the reviews and they were correct. The owner is proud of the service he offers. Breakfast was good. Motel is old but updated, room was huge. I would stay again.

Very pleased with our stay here! Along the way of Route 66, hot and cold breakfast included. Parking was easy and safe. Room was clean and the price was right. Don't have laundry on site but apon asking, the front desk said they would wash/ dry our clothes for $5. $6 if we used their laundry soap.

Great service, friendly owners. Room was clean and cool. We got the room with 3 double beds. Each one of us had our own bed. We all slept well. It was not noisy like most motels. Breakfast was ok to start the morning off. Will stop again on our way back.

We booked online about an hour before arrival. The gentleman at the desk had turned the heat on in the room for us so we didn't walk into a cold room. The room was large and comfy. The shower was hot instantly! It was nice not to have to wait for that to warm up! Breakfast was the usual fare for a hotel and was good to start our day with! We will definitely be stopping there again when we are in the area!

Have to give this motel a five. If you like the old motel atmosphere it's great. Rooms are old but clean and comfortable. Owners are fantastic. You can stay at a newer motel for twice the price or you can get a real homemade hot breakfast here… Real eggs…

Fantastic place to stay! Definitely loves up to previous reviews. Stayed with my gf on New Years Eve and loved the service, the retro style, and the Texas shaped waffles for breakfast. The rooms are small, but beautiful in a old fashioned way. If you are heading through I definitely recommend staying here, though, since there is not much nearby, it may not be suited to longer stays.

Friendly people at the desk and a very reasonable price. They warmed up the room ahead of time (snowy and 16°) and they even upgraded our room to 3 beds so we didn't get stuck sharing or sleeping on a roll away. A simple breakfast was included… Texas shaped waffles!

Super nice people. The inn may not be everyone's cup of tea but if you are looking for a pretty much untouched authentic route 66 motel this one is it. Great breakfast is included with eggs and biscuits. Bed was comfortable enough hot water was a little lacking but would stay here again.

Stopped here by chance while traveling. Pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable it was. EXCELLENT VALUE! owner was pleasant, informative and helpful. Breakfast was hot and above average! Will definitely stay here when in the area!

I have stayed in multiple hotels ranging from Holiday Inns, Hiltons, to the sketchy motel on the corner. This has been by far one of the best economic, clean, and comfy hotels I have stayed at. The owner was amazingly nice and comforting. The rooms were clean, organized, and all around great. I can't stress enough how good of a stay this hotel is and mostly for the price, and they offer breakfast, 10/10. To the owner, this is your new friend from Houston saying thank you for a wonderful stay.

Perfect match for price and comfort. Very clean room, king sized bed, and good breakfast in the morning; all for half the price of a main stream hotel we stayed in the night before. Couldn't be happier! EPIC!

The most inexpensive motel I have ever stayed in! A Route 66 must stop if you are in the area. The rooms were clean the location was convenient and the ownership was friendly. Breakfast is a waffle in the shape of Texas! You should stay there just for that.

What a great little hotel! The owners are some of the kindest people we met on our trip from Michigan to Arizona! It is an older hotel but it is Clean and they have been working hard to make updates! I'd stay here again with out a doubt! Thank you for your kindness while we stayed at your hotel!

Older motel, but very nice. The management are always very friendly, and will help in any way, to make sure you're satisfied. The rooms are very simple, yet comfortable. I've stayed here many times, while hunting, and never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place! Several thoughtful touches made it such a pleasant place to stay while traveling. We were arriving late at night and they switched on the heat so that the room was toasty. There were complimentary water bottles waiting for us. The owners are such sweet, pleasant people and the place is so cute! Older buildings, but kept very clean and decorated well. The bed was perfect. The appliances were new and it had all of the usual things. The breakfast was homemade and scrumptious. What a lovely surprise this was during a long, tedious trip. I will stay there again.

It was a great stay and a good price. Arun was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The kiddos loved the cozy, clean room.

It is two minutes off the highway and the best place to break the long trip across North Texas. It is a great value for your money with a great deal of personal pride in the ownership and hospitality. Complimentary bottle water awaits you on arrival and a home cooked fresh egg breakfast starts the morning.

We cancelled reservations at a nearby chain hotel because of reviews about this place and we're glad we did! Very clean, the appliances (tv, fridge, microwave, coffee maker) were updated but the room had cool original vintage touches like the old door chain and green tub and toilet. The owner and his wife were super nice and even let us use their washer and dryer for a very small fee to do a load of laundry. Our 2 dogs enjoyed their walks behind the hotel and we got a great nights sleep. Highly recommended!

The included breakfast was worth the incredibly low rate of the room. The room wasn't great and showed signs of less-than-stellar repair work or age, but I was on a long drive and it had a comfy bed, shower, toilet, A. C. Was pet friendly, and an incredible breakfast for the money (eggs, waffle machine, biscuits & gravy, cereal, fruit, coffee). I saw two deer directly behind the place when walking the dog in the morning. If you aren't turned off by the industrial, and also agreed neighborhood, you can squeeze in a few extra miles on that long haul and plan to stay here to get a good night's rest and a decent meal. Internet. Two bottles of water included when we went.

Slightly flawed motel. Cons: moderate stained carpet. Poor room lighting, Pros: Great customer service from front desk. Spacious rooms. Clean and well maintained bathroom area. A/C that actually works. Good location for travelers heading East or West via I-40. Carpets although slightly stained, were in good shape and not covered in frayed spots. No mystery stains in bedding.

A rare find, sort of like finding a four leaf clover. A friendly and helpful staff, very clean and comfortable. A very cool 1950's retro feel to it with all of the up to date amenities. The complementary breakfast of scrambled eggs with biscuits & gravy were a nice touch. Will stay again when in the area. Outstanding value.

I stayed here on my way back to Massachusetts from the grand canyon. My fiancee and I were VERY impressed with this motel. It was clean, well kept, cheap and breakfast was good. This motel is, it seems, run completely by the owner. He does the counter, the breakfast, room cleaning and room service. This is a man who takes pride in his motel and it shows. He does a fantastic job, nothing was lacking at this little motel. 10 out of 10 would stay again and would highly recommend.

Super clean! Stay in the three bed room, it's pretty cool and a lot bigger! Also, the people who own this place are so nice and they work really hard to be accommodating and have such a good reputation! You won't regret it!

I booked at 9pm the manager was there at 10:30pm, very courteous and hospitable. Checked in and the rooms are very clean and well kept. The hotel was built in the 1950s so it isn't very modern. It has been very well maintained and the outside Area is also well kept.

An older motel that is clean and well kept. Kind and thoughtful staff. Hot breakfast. The best hotel in shamrock, highly recommend! Around $40 a night, I would have paid $40 for this texas waffle alone.

For the money ($43 with tax), this is hands down the best kept secret. The owner takes real pride in this place — from clean rooms to the Texas Flag themed colors. The white stars on the doors and the red and white painted walls give it a festive feel on Historic Route 66. The rooms are clean and spacious. There flat screen TVs, complimentary bottles of water, homemade breakfast with real eggs and Texas-shaped waffles, plus it's pet friendly!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the room was immaculate complete with a microwave and refrigerator. The staff (especially Kupha) was so accommodating and friendly. I would definitely stay there again and look forward to it! You can't beat the price for all that you get.

Driving through on a trip from AZ to VA. Ended up choosing the Shamrock Country Inn. The great service made us happy we chose a local business rather than supporting a corporate chain. Staff was more than accommodating and quite pleasent to speak with. They were pet friendly to our Boston Terrier and the room was quite nice. I definitely recommend stopping through if you are in the area.

Wow! Clean, friendly & super comfy beds. We were traveling with our 2 kids & all exhausted. I looked through all the reviews of hotels in the area. This was the only one with no negative reviews for a really low price. I am so glad we listened to the reviews & gave it a chance. Is it older, yes, but CLEAN & super comfy beds. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and gave us details on everything we needed. Room was big, smelled great, heat worked well, A+ on value. We settled in & got some great sleep. Best example I've ever seen of don't judge a book by its cover!

We recently stayed here for a art/craft fair. Very clean rooms. The decor is a little out dated but that fits in with the Route 66 theme. Office manager/owner was very helpful and friendly. He made sure we had everything we needed and if there was a problem he was there so fix it if we needed it done. Would recommend.

It doesn't look like much and it's very dated but it has friendly staff and the room was very clean! Exactly what we were looking for, inexpensive and clean! We were just passing through ~ I would stay here again.

Stayed here last night and it was a great stay! Very friendly staff and the rooms bleeds clean just like staying at a highly priced hotel! Cheap rooms. And very comfy bed and pillows! The staff was very helpful and sweet! I recommend to anyone!

Nice clean rooms, great rate, and the staff is very friendly. I called to reserve a room about two hours ahead of time, and they even turned the ac on for me before I got there.

No need to worry about bed bugs. Our room was very clean and have nice comfortable beds. Owner said the place is still under renovation so should be even better. I would highly recommended for others, especially those looking for a quiet night rest.

After long drive found the good Motel. The room was cleaned. Bed was very comfortable and staff was very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
