Best price in Shamrock at the time I went through. Excellent room. Clean. And, I never write reviews. I'm just impressed at how friendly and polite the couple that is running the hotel were, and then they had breakfast. Nice big screen TV. Internet worked well. AC worked very well, and quickly, which is good, coz Texas is HOT. Haha. Nice place, well worth the money!

Rooms are newer, flat screen I think is 40 inch. Very clean place, no bugs. Management was so kind and ask if everything was to my satisfaction. Well beyond my expectation. Price to service is awesome for good night sleep. Staying here again because really nice rooms at great price. Very quiet here. Foods are nearby and a couple of gas stations. Close to I-40.

Decent place to sleep while traveling. Clean. Beds are OK comfort wise, glad they were 2 queens. Both desk clerks were helpful and friendly. Few small things need upkeep. The caulk in tub should be replaced. But for the price it's good, clean, comfortable enough to get rest.

Excellent service very nice rooms and great hospitality.

First thing you notice is the smell. Then the cockroaches. The man at the front desk is nice and the Texas shaped waffles were great. But they need to control their cockroach population. I had one crawling in my ear. They were all over the bed!

We got a clean and comfortable room at a very low rate. The parking was good for our long pickup and trailer.

It is an old RT66 motor court brought up to date. Host that care about youclean & well kept. Got a good nights rest. I would stay again.

First off we had to wait for someone to show up (and I meen she was OFF premises) because "she had things to do". Then the cost was twice the price advertised. Room had NO washcloths, NO extra toilet paper, we ran out. Did give 1 star because the bed was comfortable.

This is literally the worse hotel we've ever stayed at. Our shower didn't even work and all the worker said was "ok". We were never offered any other room to shower in… Nothing. We called their corporate to complain and this hotel was supposed to reach out within 72 hours to resolve the issue and they never responded. Seriously save you money and get a different hotel!

Very nice place we came from wisconsin will stay again if ever in area very cheap room there june of last year.

Stranded here for almost a week when my car broke down. Room was clean and very comfortable. Owner was very friendly and considerate. Offered a ride to store when I needed to restock supplies. Would definitely stay again!

I give 5 stars because for our lifestyle this was ideal. Allowed our pet with small extra fee, had smoking rooms, and very polite front desk clerk. Room was clean, no problem with TV and heater & water was hot. Will stay again.

Really nice little hotel. Soft bed, clean room, Wi-Fi/cable and breakfast in the morning.

I gave it 4 star's. It's a nice place but the reason I have it 4 star's is cause tge heater could od worked a little better.

Most Econo Lodges are really great. I have never encountered a problem they couldn't fix and their breakfast has really been great. They offer eggs, waffles, cereal, toast, muffins and more. I enjoy staying at any of their franchises. I never had a bad stay.

Price was great, friendliness of the staff was a plus. Rooms were great for the price. Only complaint was the Internet was extremely slow.

Our room had a weird smell when we turned on our AC. We realized the chairs smelled weird and the AC was blowing that smell everywhere. So move your chairs elsewhere if a funky smell in your room. Beds also weren't comfortable. Breakfast was good though, they have a Texas shaped waffle machine.

Nice big rooms. AC blew ice cold. Pet friendly. And a good price.

Our family had to stop for the night after another hotel down the road cancelled our reservation. While other hotels at Shamrock were full, this one wasn't. The night clerk was very friendly and didn't mind that I was checking in so late (1am). The faucets in the bathroom need a little upgrading. Other than thay, this was perfect for the sleep hours that we needed. The beds were the most comfortable that I have slept on! And the breakfast was great! My daughter especially liked the Texas-shaped Waffle Maker.

Great place, was passing through and enjoyed a quick stay. The price was incredible and even came with a full breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel and the friendly family that owns it. — Shaun.

The place is old, but the room was clean, the sheets were crisp, and the bed was comfortable. For $49 that's a deal.

Friendly staff. If serving in active duty don't expect military discount. Location was ok, a decent drive away from the I-40 and in a sketchy area. The rooms were outdated, the a/c ran a little warm, and shower head was really low. I am 6 foot even and the shower head was below my neck. Otherwise the room was decently clean, bed was comfortable, continental breakfast was subpar but still got the job done. Okay stay for the night.

No problem with hotel… only with guest with 4 kids checked in at 11:30 next to my room. Loud and no concerns for other guests at hotel.

Not worth the price. Should have gone to another motel. Dated room's, spider's, itchy sheets. The only reason we really stayed here was because it was pet friendly.

For the price it was clean with just a few maintenance issues but definitely worth the low price.

Very comfy and clean beds. Nice shower and clean towels. They had a nice breakfast with Biscuits and gravy, waffles, muffins and lots of coffee! Staff was very friendly. Great place to stay while traveling.

It was a very clean an nice room an the staff was very helpful. The bed very comfortable so had very need restful sleep.

Just right for the money. If you're an economical traveler and want nice clean affordable accomodations I recommend staying here.
