My stay at the Omni was very nice. Its an older but classy hotel. My room us upgraded to a suite. It was rather large and had a nice pullout. One of the nice benefits is the pool. It was heated for year round benefits. Also a nice sauna, jacuzzi, and work out room. The reason I gave it a 4 is because the price vs. The cost which was 180.00 for the night seemed a little off.

If you have traveled as much as I do, you would know how to rate this place. My husband and I both agreed on everything at this hotel. Onion Grille Restaurant''s food was delicious and the service meet all my expectations. There was not one thing they could not assist me with. You must get a massage. The BEST one I had! Since this is our first experience with Omni and we are totally impressed, we immediately booked another location DURING this stay! The reasons we picked Omni are their pet friendly accommodation for our 14 year old terrier and the massage option. This makes all the difference to us. Thank you for a great Weekend Getaway.

Older hotel, but kept up very well. Lounge area was very nice with a full+service bar, restaurant, and room service. The pool was very popular and busy, but large with a lot of amenities. Rooms were dated, but well kept. The area was quiet and in a business district.

Really nice hotel. Went on a business trip. They had a gym/pool area that was pretty well equipped and accessible. The room was plenty nice itself, and the staff were very polite. The continental breakfast was easily the highlight of the trip. Great Belgian Waffles, sausage, eggs, and bacon. Plus other things like fruit and pastries. Not a bad place to stay in Austin!

Stayed here two nights for a conference last week. The hotel is decent and nice enough considering its age. I heard from a coworker that the owner of the hotel is planning to remodel the entire hotel, which I think is a good idea. The bathrooms in particular look pretty outdated. The shower/tub, fixtures, tiles, etc. Look very old. The bed was not very comfortable for me. I didn't have a problem with any loud noise from the freeway as other guests have stated. The pool is nice, but COLD. The main problem I had with the hotel were the insane amount of fruit flies. We had pastries, coffee, and cookies provided to us daily as part of the conference and there were fruit flies everywhere. We had to cover our plates with napkins to keep the flies away, and on the last day, I chose not to eat anything because I could see all the flies landing on the food trays where it was being served and it grossed me out. Overall, the staff were very nice and accommodating, parking was easy, the lobby is nice enough. Could use some updates, and fixing the problem with the flies.

Very nice hotel. Parking is a little tight if you have a really big vehicle (RV, Bus, Big Van. Etc. ) Pool is AWESOME. You're not that far from everything but you will have to drive a little. Great restaurant, staff and quiet location. I'll be back.

As always, Omni hotels never cease to impress with their quality of service and amenities offered. I felt welcomed and appreciated as I walked into the lobby. I would recommend these hotels to everyone whose never experience A+ hotel service before. They are well worth every dollar spent.

I chose this property because of it's close proximity to the airport. As an added bonus the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the workout, pool and spa area was a welcome surprise. My kids loved the swim in and out pool and hot tub. The sauna, workout room and locker area were clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel!

Older building (used to be a Wyndham) but still very much a classy hotel. We stayed on the 14th floor and had a nice view of downtown Austin. The mattress was extremely soft and springy (take that as you will) and the pillows were of a middling hardness. No real choice between soft or hard on those. All-in-all, not a bad little overnight stay.

Large king size room comfortable bed beautiful view of downtown Austin. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Ballroom is elegantly appointed and upscale. Very nice place to stay to avoid a long drive home! However no coffee maker in the room. Cmon Omni, even the cheaper motels have that now.

Great place for parties. Good service and location.

Older building but with great service. Staff are super nice and helpful. On mother's day morning they were passing out free chocolate covered strawberries. Breakfast is not included but they do have an on-site restaurant with a breakfast buffet for $20, so a little pricey. They are pet friendly and we had no issue with bringing our dog and she was able to walk through the lobby hassle free.

We always stay here when we are in town. Convenient location with easy on/off of I35 or Ben white. Hotel feels quiet despite the location. GREAT pool and hot tub, and wonderful bar with lots of seating for hanging out with friends or family. Very friendly and professional staff. Love this hotel!

This place is an absolute sleeper. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable to atmosphere of the hotel is great. The staff is very friendly. I love it I never stayed at one of these hotels before. And I love it when I go to Corpus Christi I will definitely be looking for one of these to stay in.

Everyone we dealt with at the hotel was wonderful. Very friendly. We asked for a photo of John Stamos thinking it would just be fun to see if they did it or not. Well, they sure did! As a couple that loves to have fun and be silly, this was a huge plus for us. Not to mention it's just a beautiful, clean hotel with a great location.

Amazing service and one of the friendliest staffs I've ever seen! The Reception opened the gift shop for me to buy some food upon arriving after midnight. Forgot stuff after departing which they mailed me home. It could be closer to downtown though and regretfully one does hear some noise from the freeway beside it.

Decent hotel with good service. Our room was a bit beat up. No exhaust fan in the shower so there was a sauna after showering. Otherwise it was fine.

We went to the lunch buffet at Onion Creek Grill and had endless pasta today. I am gluten free, so I was able to order gluten free pasta. They make it all in front of you. You pick the toppings of meats, veggies and sauces as well as what shape of pasta for the regular pasta. I was impressed with the process and how fresh and delicious it was. It was a generous serving also. I was able to get gluten free bread too! I think it was reasonably priced for the freshness, quantity, limitlessness, and quality. $13 for pasta only, $16 for salad bar and pasta. This deal is good Monday — Friday, 11 a. M. — 2 p. M. Brenda was our waitress that confirmed everything. She is super sweet and another reason to go this excellent buffet at a hotel restaurant. 03-14-18

Pretty good hotel — stayed for business. Wish I had more time to check out the pool and gym. Try the burger at the hotel restaurant… it was delicious!

The food in the pasta bar was pretty good. He'll probably come back.

For the price to be over $200 a night the hotel its dated and the management leaves much to be desired. The rooms especially the bathrooms need renovating. We had a youth conference which they placed the rooms all over the hotel. It would have been better to group them together. Also the doors automatically slams when closing unless you hold it and slowly shut it but this was used to complain against the children.

Love this hotel, pet friendly and parking lot security. I was walking my dogs and the nice guy stayed with me the whole time to make sure I was safe, late at night. I live in Austin and I stay here sometimes to feel like I'm on vacation.

Not recommended lousy housekeeping and in a matter of service to the lousy public. They charge you and charge you in advance and disable your card to use your room. And also expensive. On the outside it looks modern but in the room we were provided it is old. I repeat not recommended.

Service was great and the rooms were very nice. Robes to trot around in and very comfortable beds and pillows. Overall excellent experience.

Very beautiful and great hotel! My wife and I stayed here right before we got married and they were very accommodating and even upgraded our room for free! Not only did they upgrade our room on the night of our wedding, they also had chocolate strawberries and champagne for us when we got back from our wedding day. They also gave us tickets for a free breakfast drink for each night we stayed there. They really made our stay one of the best we have ever had.

My family and I usually stay at the Omni every year for Christmas when visiting family, and the stay is always fantastic. Although the hotel is bit pricey, I can honestly say that it’s worth it. Like every penny pays off. If you are interested in staying at the Omni, I would recommend using Priceline (my mom uses it for everything). You can usually get away with cheaper prices if you use it. But overall I can say that there was nothing wrong with our stay.

This hotel is very conveniently located near interstate Highway 35. Also the ballroom is great for a company functions and of have attended several here in the past. If your company looking at having a gathering here I would recommend it, plenty of parking available and an easy to find location.

I love your food buffet of 11:00. To 2:00 PM.

My boyfriend and I booked a stay here for one night after having a terrible experience at another hotel the night before. From beginning to end our experience with Omni was amazing. Booking was very simple over the phone; when we arrived, room keys were already made and waiting for us even though we had just booked a reservation hours before. When we went to our room, we realized it hadn't been cleaned — room service was still out and towels were on the floor — but the front staff was amazing at remedying the situation. They offered to hold our bags, gave us a free drink at the bar so the short wait for our room would go by quicker and they immediately sent a clean up crew to ready the room. When the room was clean, they found us in the lobby and retrieved our bags for us. When we got to our room we were surprised to find complimentary champagne and macaroons waiting for us. Our evening in the room was quiet and comfortable. We were woken at promptly at 8:45 am with a knock on the door with complimentary coffee and juice as requested the night before. Will definitely stay at Omni again! Special shout out to front office manager, Jerry Rodriguez, for making our stay so amazing! He facilitated all of what was mentioned above. It was our one year anniversary and he made the day very special!

We enjoyed our stay. The room was nice, I loved the pool (I liked they provide some pool noodles). Our dog escaped the room when we were our in town and when we went to the office to ask if he was there, the manager was walking inside with him from taking him out to do his business. Everyone was real nice about it. Dumb dog. I really wish they provided breakfast though. $20 for a breakfast buffet? No thanks. Spent $20 for the 3 of us at waffle house.

A place to rest, very good attention.

My wife and I went to Omni Austin hotel to visit the pasta bar. You get to choose what incredients you want with your pasta. So many veggies and meat available to choose from. So many pasta sauce you get to choose from. Not to mention the different kinds of pasta. All cooked in front of you. Once done cooking we went back to our table and totally cleaned out plates it was that delicious. I would go back there anytime.

Stayed here for a dance event. Nice rooms but rather loud with highway traffic noise. Very nice outdoor pool with plenty of chairs in the shade and sun and pool toys. Pool bar serves good food. Comfortable bed but pillows were a bit flat. Would stay here again.

The Austin Ball Jointed Doll convention has been held at Omni Southpark for many years. The amenities are great. Lovely bar area with comfy chairs to visit friends. Great food at our banquets. Staff are courteous and attentive. Looking forward to our next event.

The Omni was a nice stop after a long day of driving from Colorado. The front desk men were attentive and super friendly. We ended up getting a top floor room away from the highway, which was delightful as we were exhausted. The room was clean and looked nice, however, the water all the way on the top floor takes a while longer to get hot but did indeed get hot. The pool area was well kept and gorgeous. Only draw back is the price of food and drinks but it's well in the expected price range for this quality of hotel.

I attended an event in a conference room. Highly recommended the place, good location, friendly staff and good food.

We got together some friends for a drink. The waiter was my friendly. We greet with a smile and take our order. They served us with good weather and everything was correct. Thank you for the service.

A group of us stayed here to attend a wedding in Austin. The group rates were very competitive with rates offered via other sites. The hotel staff was friendly upon arrival and check-in. My room was very nice, clean, and comfortable, the robes were a nice touch. Even though I was unable to spend time in the pool, it was a lovely pool area. I met the front manager due to a minor problem after the front desk clerk apologized and made things right. All of us had a great stay! Thank you Omni Austin Southpark.

Omni Austin is a great place to stay. The rooms are nice, and the bed and pillows are high quality and super comfortable. Everyone on staff we met was friendly and helpful. No trouble or problems with our stay so not sure how they reslove issues. I'd stay here again.

Hotel was nice and clean. Beds were firm and the pillows were down. I dont like down pillows but plenty of folks do so I wont rate down for that. I will say the number of outlets in the room were pretty lacking. There were only 2 outlets that didn't have anything plugged into them, not the best situation for a business traveler sharing a room with a co-worker.

Whenever I go to a hotel I can expect to be greeted nicely and feel welcoming. Not here! My friends and I came for a weekend and the girl at the front desk was not so welcoming and didnt even bother to smile. There was a party of guys at the room next to us and we could hear everything! We barely had sleep because of the noise. The parking was bad, and always packed.

It was a very nice stay, with one complaint. The air in the room stayed warm through the night. It was warm and humid. Everything else about the stay was wonderful. A very clean and nice size room. The television and small fridge were great. We would stay again, but hopefully in a cooler room.

Great presentation, friendly staff, good food selection. The drinks were pricier than I'd like but they were mixed well.

I brought my husband to Austin for his birthday and when I booked the room I mentioned that in my comment/request section. Well, let me just say Omni went above and beyond to make our stay special for his bday! They upgraded the room for one, and after we got settled we were surprised by room service bringing a nice bottle of champagne, 2 delicious cupcakes and a birthday card signed by the staff! Unbelievable… I am more then pleased. Not to mention, the location was great. We were located by amazing restaurants and shopping. Thanks Omni, we will definitely be back :-) possiblly with the kids to swim in that awesome pool!

Wonderfull place I recomended nice pool very cleen rooms every boddy very especial.

My wife slipped in front of the elevator on some water that didn't get mopped up. She hurt and bruised her knee. Then at 6 am the bathroom light fixture fell down and hit me while I was in the restroom. We let the room manager know what occurred and she offered us a complimentary upgrade for next time. Overall not very impressed with the stay.
