Very nice and breakfast was good.

Appreciate the hotel for putting balloons, cake, gift bags etc for my husband 43rd bday and our daughter 13th bday. They were surprised.

NOT family friendly, this hotel has no respect don't fall for this tourist trap. They say dog friendly but the staff will make a big deal about your pet while giving you dirty looks in the hall also there are no places to walk your dog. The owner has no hospitality when things go wrong. This place needs their mariott name ripped from them. Don't Recommend.

Very rude staff, dirty soon as you go into the hotel first thing noticed… no place to park. No safes in room to store valuables. Back sliding doors don't lock. Staff enters room when you leave for no reason. Construction going on with no view of the ocean as paid for.

It was very clean, comfortable and roomy. The view was awesome from the 5th floor. We could see the bay from the sun deck by the pool. Everything was wonderful. We'll definitely be back.

My husband and I came here from Philadelphia, PA for a 5yr Anniversary celebration. The room was just perfect for the two of us for 3 nights. The hotel staff was helpful with whatever we needed/questions1²ýý we had.
Thinking about bringing the kids next visit… only thing is we would have enjoyed maybe some champagne and rose petals that my husband had asked for as he was booking the room that he was told the staff would make happen. maybe could change check in times to be more sooner than later. Ours wasn't till 4pm but we arrived and around 2:45-3:00 so we just had to drive our to we can kill. Overall I'd give about ⭐⭐⭐⭐

My husband and I stayed here last October for a short weekend gate away! Great hotel and great price! We normally stay at the Courtyard on 16th but it’s gotten expensive to stay there so the Fairfield was a great choice! Room was clean each day and stocked and the front desk was very nice! Looking forward to staying again this October!

I do not recommend this place based on poor customer service and very poor cleanliness. We stayed here for a week in a room for 4 people, the cleaning service consistently only gave us 2 towels to shower with & had to ask multiple times for more. Even worse they never changed the sheets from the previous people staying in the room. We went to get into bed and there was sand all over the sheets, and when we took the sheets off we found an iPad that was clearly from a previous family with a family photo on the case. And when we brought it to their attention all they said was “oh we’ll take that iPad and see who it belongs to”, never even apologized for their lack of cleanliness.

Nice hotel! It was built in 2016 so its not too old yet. Pool is small but the beds in the rooms are extremely comfortable! All rooms have hard wood floors which is a tad weird but overall it was a great hotel.

Clean, cozy, comfortable and charming are the words that my wife used to describe our experience at this hotel. I would include the word convenient due to the location of this hotel. It is "conveniently" located on the main street of Ocean City Maryland and it is just under two blocks from the boardwalk. It is located within easy walking distance to several quality restaurants and it is located just a few blocks south of the Jolly Rogers water park at 30th Street. I believe that all of the rooms at this hotel are suites and there are basically three room views that you can choose from. We purchased a room with a balcony view of bay just behind the hotel. From what I can tell this is the best view from the hotel. This hotel provides a very nice complementary breakfast every morning. It includes cereal and also hot meals like waffles and sausage. Breakfast is served on the second floor and if you want to avoid a crowded breakfast area go down and have breakfast no later than 8am because after that the breakfast area becomes very crowded. The weight room is pretty typical for a Marriott Hotel. It has three or four treadmills and a lot of different weighted dumbbells. Our room was very clean and modern-looking. The entire hotel appears like it was renovated not too long ago. I like the fact that there was no carpeting in the rooms. And despite being a hotel in a beach town the hallways of the hotel did not have the typical moldy smell from years of damp carpeting.

This Fairfield Inn looks beautiful and has a lot of potential. They just need to work out some logistics to improve the customer experience. First, while I understand controlling energy consumption controls costs, you simply cannot leave a room at 74 degrees with stupid high humidity. I arrived at midnight after a 9 hour drive and I've already waited an hour and I'm still pouring sweat. I can't sleep or relax to start my vacation. Very infuriating, very poor experience. When we arrived my wife went to the wrong room because she heard the number wrong, the key opened the door. We went back to the front desk because we only had one bed instead of two. When I realized just how confused the front desk was about the situation I went up to check the room number and discovered the problem… but why on earth did our key open the wrong room? How can you sleep soundly wondering if someone is going to barge into your room because the keys open all the doors? This place charges a huge premium, like three times the normal cost of a regular Fairfield. If it can't even delivery the same experience, let alone a better one — like it should — then what is the point of ever staying here? I won't be here again. We come to OC every year. I was kind of excited about the location next to Phillips, Fish Tales, a Marina, and a short walk from Sahara Cafe. Its really unfortunate.

It was not Marriott standard. Very small room. Everything was Really congested inside the room. Cheap bed. It looks great and beautiful when you look at pictures online but Not a really great view if you are on beach vacation. I requested 2 rooms next to each other but they put us in 4 rooms apart right over the main entrance canopy. Good parking. Customer service was ok. Not great because put us 4 rooms apart even though I requested 2 rooms next to each other and they confirmed availability. It was not worth the money.

Very bad customer service experience. I stayed at this hotel 2 months ago. Right after I left my 4-year old remember she left her two dolls at the hotel. Since I was driving 4 hours back home, I was unable to go back or call the hotel. Next day, I called it and spoke to a very nice lady which explained to me they could not ship the dolls, I should have to arrange a mail pick up. I understood their policy but decided to pick them up myself on another day. Called on a Thursday, set-up the pick up on Saturday, since a friend was going to Ocean City, and a receptionist confirmed everything was set and good for my friend to get the dolls. When my fried asked for the dolls, they said they didn't have them. We both spoke to the manager who said had no idea what happened. They are unprofessional and totally careless. What type of work would they have to save something. My friend was on vacation and wasted her time going there. It is unacceptable. I will never recommend anyone to go to this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was awesome. I have a 2 year old and they were always very mindful of his nap time in terms of cleaning the room. The only down side is that the pool is very small.

Our stay at Fairfield Inn was great. The room is spacious and clean. Staff was really friendly. We loved the breakfast they offered in the morning. It is located near the bayside, we had a bay view from our balcony. It was an easy walk down to the beach. Would stay here again.

Planned a last minute Ocean City trip with my mother and stayed here. Our rooms were clean and modern, and staff was friendly and helpful. There was an issue with our door lock that maintenance took care of right away. The beds were comfortable (in my opinion) and it was only a short walk to the beach and boardwalk.

At first this hotel looks very promising but I discovered otherwise. The pool in the facility was very small in comparison to how it looks in the website pictures. There was a bunch of hair all in the water. The water was very dirty as well. I decided to skip swimming in there and went to the beach. Later that night, I discovered a female's fake eyelash and a plastic wrapper in the sheets at the end of the bed. It's very obvious that the staff did not change the sheets from the guest that was in that room. I paid $346 for the night and I'm completely disappointed. I forgot to mention that there were pubic hairs under the toilet sheet when I lifted it up. This hotel seriously needs to address it's staff about properly maintaining the rooms.

I would rate them 4-4.5 stars. The staff was very friendly and gave dining suggestions for local restaurants. Housekeeping did a good job with taking care of the room. Great view. Another plus is it is within walking distance of the beach and boardwalk. They offered complimentary breakfast. The only thing that I think could use improvement is the pool; it was on the smaller side.

I stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Ocean City MD June 2018. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly. My only request would be that housekeeping mopped the rooms better. My feet was dirty after getting out the shower because I walked around the room barefoot. They offered a free breakfast which was descent. Prior to arrival I requested a late check out of 1pm. Maria at the desk insisted I would need to call the morning of checkout to see if she could grant my request. We were disappointed that she couldn't let us know the day before so we could sleep in and not be disturbed. Had my request been honored I would have given this hotel more stars.

Good location, only about 2 blocks from beach. Lots of eating places, mini golf, mini amusement park in easy walking distance. The breakfast varied and decent. Workers friendly and helpful. The room could have been cleaner. Don't think the floor is swept and/mopped between reservations. I ran a damp towel twice over the floor and each time was blackened with dirt. And not dusted either. So probably only sheets changed and a very light surface cleaning done. And the pool is ridiculously small. No serious swimming, a few kicks and you're done. Check website picture. It is the smallest hotel pool I have ever seen, used. All the other pools I could see were significantly bigger. Typical gym, no AC so pretty warm in there. So decent hotel in general.

The staff is pleasant. The room was small but the bathroom was amazing. The pool area is a bit small. Overall is a nice place to go if looking to book a nice hotel to stay in. The free breakfast is a plus and it was good.

Fantastic, brand new Marriott hotel in OC! I appreciate that I can trust in Marriott to deliver consistency in quality and service. Updated and practical. Convenient to many of the top rated restaurants. Inaugural staff is super polite and friendly. Additional comments. One hiccup. Our room wasn't cleaned and someone put the privacy note on the door while we were gone to avoid it. When we were leaving one of the housekeepers asked me the room number for the express purpose of cleaning the room. Imagine my surprise when we returned from being gone all day and the tag was on the door that we didn't put there…
