You get what you pay for with this place! Wasn't in a bad location, at the end of the boardwalk and with-in a good walking distance to many good eats! (definitely recommend Fish Tails! ) but the room was so-so nothing spectacular and looked fairly clean-good for a night or 2 with your loved one.

Our room was very small. Very outdated. There was paint peeling off the walls. The headboard was broke. And the shower rod was broke and had rust which was falling off when you moved the curtain. Nothing like the pictures online. You opened the door to a little hallway where you had to slide in and close the door to get it. The bathroom was very small and the light didn’t work. The room was tiny you almost had to crawl on the bed to lay down instead of walking around the side of it. Our room was connected to their laundry room so it was very loud and we barley got to sleep. My boyfriend is a very heavy sleeper and he was woken up about 5 times. The ac Unit was too loud kept waking us up. And couldn’t keep the room cold. When we first walked into the hotel room the room smelled like weed. So I went and got air freshener and when we left and came back it smelled like it again but even stronger so I’m pretty sure the staff smokes it in the laundry room since our room is connected. Do not stay here and if I’m do do not stay in room 111. When I complained the staff didn’t really care. I spent $145 for one night. Not worth the money.

Absolutely mortifying experience. It started raining this morning and our ceiling leaked. All of our clothes were drenched with wet nasty water and paint from the ceiling. We went to speak with the front desk and we were told they did not have another room with 2 beds and they WILL NOT refund us. Not to mention that the place has mold everywhere and is filthy. We decided to try this because of the cheap rate even though they we read reviews, DO NOT WASTE A PENNY HERE, it’s not worth staying here even just to sleep!

Terrible rooms. After browsing the website and seeing their photos I decided to book with them as I believed I was getting a very decent room for the price. When I showed up to check in, opened my room door, it was NOTHING like they showed online. It was a prison cell. One room with a king size bed that takes up most of the room, and a tiny bathroom. If the website would’ve shown pictures of this room I very much would have stayed away and spent my money elsewhere. Dead flies on the wall, stained bed sheets. It’s a dump. Spend the few extra dollars and book at the very much nicer hotels in the surrounding area. Well I’m currently staying here at the moment I’m writing this. And you can’t find my name because it’s under my girlfriends name, Victoria. And you call this room totally renovated? This room is the size of a storage closet and was NOT displayed ANYWHERE on your website. I paid 190 a night for two nights to stay in what I thought was a fairly decent, nice sized room. Not a basement closet you decided to drywall and put a king size bed in.

Room and bathroom were kept very clean. Although I did not use the pool, it looked nice. Beds were comfortable and the room was affordable.

Not happy at all. It was late when I checked in and only for one night so I figured make the best of it! The ac did not work, the bed had sand in the sheets, the floor was grimy and the toilet wanted to keep overflowing. I complained as I was checking out and was told I got the room at a great rate. The lady was rude and would not hear what I was saying to her. I would sleep outside before id spend my money to stay here! I do not recommend this place, great rate or not!

Stuffy room. AC did not work. Will not stay here again.

Went down for 1 night stayed 2. Me and my wife was were down so I could do lyft was very comfortable room only bad it rained bad and their still fixin things b4 season so small leakin bathroom.

Decent hotel. Definitely needs some upgrades and a bigger parking lot.

Would give 0 stars if I could. This establishment is absolutely disgusting and the management has a policy of not speaking with upset guests. If you want cockroaches, mold and toilet brushes with human waste on them, this is the place for you. If you make the mistake of staying here, like I did, you can expect that management won’t speak to you. You can completely forget about a refund.

ROACH INFESTED! Worst hotel I've ever experienced in my life. Refused to give a refund for part of our stay even though we checked out early because of the foul conditions! I would've rather slept on the street tbh.

Better rooms then you would expect from the outside. No carpet which makes the room so much cleaner in my opinion. And the bathroom was in good condition. The right kind of stay for the price.

My room had mold on all the lamp shades. Front desk didn't want to refund me my money so I could find other accommodations. Also lied about it being mold. His offer was to take lamps out of room. This place is not a good place to stay at all.

The room was dirty we had to get new sheets and pillow cases because they had hair and sand all over them. Woke up in the morning to half of our stuff soaking wet from the upstairs room leaking down to ours all of my daughters stuff was soaked her shoes her nebulizer multiple things they did switch us to another room but showed absolutely zero sympathy for that happening I asked them what happens if when I plug my daughters 200 dollar nebulizer in and it doesn't work and he said well how do I know it wasn't broke when you came I'm not giving you any type of compensation first off I never asked him to pay for it I was just saying for example but I thought they would say hey you know will give you a half night back on your card for this trouble or something but nope he said you should have caught the leak right when it happened and your stuff wouldn't have been wet I said it was sometime during the night when we were SLEEPING the place is a joke it might look nice from the pictures posted but I will never stay there again and the rooms were very muggy smelling no soap no shampoo, no type of amenities what do ever.

I would not stay here again. The service was fine. But, there was no hot water at any point in my trip. It had a horrible oder as soon as I checked in. The bed was uncomfortable. And there was no sound proofing. So at 2am when all of the drunk kids come in you will here everything. Like I said, the people were very nice and friendly, but the hotel itself was horrible. Would not recommend or stay at again.

The rooms were clean, it smelled like fresh mopped floors and clean laundry when we walked in. The room was just like the picture. The service was wonderful, always open to answer questions. It is right on Philadelphia ave which made it loud at night but the door kept the mass majority of the noise out. Overall it was a great experience and I will 100% be staying there next trip. 5 star ya'll.

The first night, someone barged into our room in the middle of the night. Apparently staff messed up and gave someone the key to our room! Thank goodness we were there or our stuff could have been stollen. We tried to speak with a manager. We tried to get our money back. Nothing. It's not even worth the cheapness of it. The room sucks. Pay an extra $100 and get yourself a safer place!

NO STAR, I couldn't write my comment without pressing the star that's why. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star! DO NOT stay in this place! This is the worst place ever, the description on the Internet is totally a lie. I won't stay at Coastal Inn motel for free, Honestly your better of sleeping in your car.

Do not… I repeat DO NOT! STAY HERE I walked in to reserve a room for 2 people which only had one bed. Two of the lights in the room didn't work. One being the bathroom light, which was super annoying. They didn't inform me on the guest rule, which there's more to this. I had a couple people hanging out with me in font of my room, to which one of the employees told us to go off the property or in the room, so we all went in my room. Not 5 minutes later he proceeds to knock twice then walk in and tell them they had to go. If I had been indisposed he would of had an even bigger problem. I walked down to complain to which he was super rude, and told me if I ad a complaint to take it up with the manager in the morning. The manager wasn't any better. The staff and establishment here are utterly repulsive. Save yourself the money and trouble and do not come here.

Costal Inn, was a budget hotel. You get what you pay for. No extra toiletries. Physical key instead of key card. Some what out of the way, but management was great.

I would post pictures if it let me. The price is not even worth the room. The first room stunk, there was food under the bed, some kind of larvae looking thing attached to the dresser. The second room didn't stink as much but had food in between mattresses and holes in the doors, just not comfortable at all. I left and found another place for the same or less money that was clean. So disgusting that my kids refused to sleep there.

We were very happy with our trip/ stay to the beach. We feel that we got what we paid for staying here. You cant beat the location 2 blocks from the boardwalk. A breakfast location across the street and several other restaurants withing walking distance. The rooms aren't perfect, but honestly are you going to the beach to stay in your hotel room? NO. The place was quiet and customer service was great! We even stayed an extra night because we had a blast! This will be our future go to spot again. Soon!

Worst experience ever. 4th of July weekend. Had to escape from this hotel room. I started itching as soon as I laid down to get some shut eye before heading out. I complained about MILDEW smell in the room & a/c not working. I came back a few hours later and room was hot and sweaty like a sauna. Tried to resolve issue with the clerk. Total attitude & no care at all. Have video to prove it. Will post it on YouTube. STAY AWAY! would you want bed bugs & being in hot sauna as a vacation getaway? NO! Stay away. Please. Im warning u. I'm calling L&i to hopefully shut them down.
