This venue was outstanding in every way. Thanks to registration staff and banquet staff. Our mini suite was superb. We held our 2018 ATRA Technical Seminar here for the second year. We’re coming back next year as well. Thank you again. 😀

Ok I don't know about anyone else but my stay was fantastic the food at the bar the staff was amazing the people who work at the restuarant amazing the breakfast amazing everything amazing so the hot tub was broken oh well shuttle staff was amazing too if I could give them 10 stars I would.

The hotel is about a 5-10 minute to the airport, but it took quite a while for the free shuttle to come and pick us up. The beds are suuuuper comfortable, and the rooms are large. My only complaint is that my hair dryer wasn't working properly and the bathroom had some stains in it. I met a colleague in the bar for a drink and the bartender was not the friendliest, but the beer and the fries were good. Overall it's a decent place to stay if you need a place close to the airport. There are plenty of restaurant options in the surrounding area.

It was just a quick one night stay, we rested very well. Our king size bed was so very comfortable. Hotel staff were very friendly as helpful.

Beds are comfy and the AC worked well! The people at the front desk were polite. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest and they didn't have enough towels for our room. When we asked the housekeeper for two additional sets (it was 3 in a room) she said they didn't have anymore. So we ran to target and bought some. The conference room has been warm. The complimentary items haven't been replaced after we used them. I really wanted to give them a 2.5

So far, the service has been amazing. I've been here 3 days, 3 nights, and have one more night to go. Bed and towels are changed daily. Room is comfortable and smells nice. I did not receive a bottle of water one day, but I have had at least 2 in my room at all times since I've informed the front desk. Room service took about 45 minutes and the staff was very apologetic. The lobby area is very warm and the Starbucks closes at around 2. There is plenty of seating all around the hotel in case you need to get away from your room. The staff has been overly compensative for some minor issues that I had to deal with. If the lobby was a little cooler and if the Starbucks was open later, I would have given 5 stars.

Beds were comfortable room was nice and clean the food from the bar wasn't the best maybe it was due to the fact we ordered so late. My husband being a chef talked to the manager of the restaurant and he took good care of us over a good place to say nice location wasn't hard to get around also hotel staff was great and you can have the hotel shuttle take you around as long as it's in a 3mile radius. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Nice big hotel, but they need to get their act together. Our tour group was told that a large group over the weekend had been given all the keys. So we had just one per room. How do you run out of key cards? The bellman was not there when we arrived, so we had to get our luggage to the room ourselves. Nobody at the desk knew where our group was eating breakfast. The last night I don't think any of our group was given wash cloths. Come on Hilton! You can do better!

Everything was good. Enjoyed the stay. Has a Starbucks and other stuff I didn't get to check out. The gym is small, but I guess vacation spots don't emphasize on that anyways. The pool looked cool. Only flaw I didn't really like was the entrance on the road. Terribly difficult to see, and also have to drive another 5 min to get back to the spot again. It was a lovely stay and I would definitely stay here again however.

I got two free water bottles in my room. There's an easy to use safe in the closet, opened by inputting our own code, which was interesting. Multiple power outlets on the table for charging our devices is a good thing. The mashed potatoes in the downstairs dining area were pretty good.

Hotel rooms are a good size with comfortable beds. I was disappointed with meal options but not so much that I wouldn't recommend the hotel. Overall a good place to stay. Staff are very friendly.

I arrived last night at 1130pm after a long day of travel to find a dirty bathroom. There was hair all over the floor and bathtub. I found a contact lens on the floor also. The hair dryer was not nicely packed away, just shoved in the bag. So I'm assuming the bathroom just got some fresh towels and soap on the counter, no cleaning in between guests. I reported to the front desk and they cleaned while I was away today. Hotel staff are very friendly and the bed is amazingly comfortable. But I still am a little worried about the cleanliness under my feet.

Somewhat dated Hilton property in need of updated rooms. Minutes from the airport. The restaurant though… that's another story. The food is really great. BBQ brisket sandwich was terrific as was the creme brulee. The other meals I saw go by all looked great and no one had anything negative to say about what they ordered. So at least you'll eat well!

Typical airport hotel popular with both airline staff and business travelers. Public spaces feel a little drab and dated but the rooms are up to Hilton standard. There is insufficient insulation between the rooms, hallway, and there are no door dampeners. I heard every door slam on the floor and my nextdoor neighbor rummaging through their closet. Not a problem if you're up at 6am when business types are getting up and airline staff are leaving, would be sub-optimal if you wanted to sleep in. Really nice bar/lounge that feels more like a fancy living room than hotel bar.

It is ideal to stay here if you are going to make a flight by its proximity to the airport.

The only thing is that its staff does not speak Spanish zero that would have more vicitantes of Mexico if its staff outside. Bilingual.

Food at executive lounge runs out and they don't replace it. Beer/wine hard to get, you depend on 1 guy to figure it out and go get it. Old building. Not much pressure in shower. Bed and cleanliness ok.

Stayed at the hotel over weekend for a soccer tournament. My daughter left her soccer cleats outside the room and forgot to bring them inside before we went to bed. I went to the front desk to ask about lost and found in event maid service sent them there. I spoke with Jonathon who was extraordinarily rude. His first response was that housekeeping was not open yet (it was the morning at 7 am) and suggested I come back after 9 am. I asked if he could check housekeeping/lost and found himself because I was heading for the airport. He said "housekeeping would not pick up shoes like that". I thought it was strange that he would;t even consider checking. And, he never offered to call me when they did open but rather asked me to call them. I said can I give you my number and you call me… he said I could but suggested I still check. Wow! literally no interest in helping me at ALL. All of this conversation from him was SUPER RUDE in tone. If Jonathon represents Hilton service, I will NEVER go to a Hilton again. This would NOT happen at a Marriott.

Okay hotel. We checked in at 3 and they told us it would be a while before the room was ready. We came back after 4 since we had yet to hear if it room was available. They saw out babe on the waiting list to check-in and we saw that there were still a bunch of people before our name. The gentleman at the desk asked if we needed two beds or if it mattered. We said that it didn't matter. He was able to get us a room immediately. So, we could have been in our room over an hour earlier had they asked us about the bed situation. That was pretty annoying honestly. The TV didn't get signal so we only had a choice of about 8 channels that actually came in. Unfortunately, we found this out late at night because we couldn't get into our room until just before we had to go meet some family. When we came back late at night and wanted to unwind we really weren't about too. It is okay if you just want to sleep there, personally we will stay elsewhere.

Overall the stay was fine with a couple of exceptions. We attempted to check in at 3pm and we're told no rooms were available yet because the previous night was at full occupancy. They wouldn't let us check in, just telling us they would call when a room became available. This made it seem like they may not have a room for us that evening. We didn't have a call by 4pm, which is check in time, so we checked with the front desk. They were able to provide a room at that time. The other issue was that the TV wouldn't tune stations above channel 11. The vast majority of the stations available were Spanish, so our choice was extremely limited. It was too late when we discovered the issue to try to get it fixed and we only stayed one night, so we just did without.

I had a meeting there. The hotel is definitely "grand". I think it is it's grand size that cought my eye. Upon entering everything is so large, spacious, and beautiful, however is has a musty … kind of "old" smell to it. The people at the front desk we're helpful and curtious. The conference rooms were great. They were clean, very large and spacious. My experience there was awesome.

Went to San Antonio for the night. Booked a king size room, when we arrived we were told by Jonathan that they did not have any king size rooms left. That was not the case because the couple we went with got one. Bartender and F&B Director very nice. They saw I was upset and tried to comp our drinks and food. I did not want that. I wanted the room we booked. After going out for the night and coming back I decided to try and book a king room online. And guess what they had them available. Went back to the front desk spoke with the Guest Service Agent Jonathan that tried to give us free breakfast because he could not give us a king size room. I declined the free breakfast. That is not what I wanted. Questioned him about the online booking he got very rude and said it was wrong and we don't have any. I asked to speak to the manager on Duty he said that he was the manager on duty. I asked for the business card of the GM and he gave me the Director of Rooms card. I told him that I wanted the card for the GM. He told me he did not have one. A server from the bar was behind the front desk an saw that I was not happy and I asked him for the name of the GM and he gave it to me as Jonathan was staring me down. I asked for the last name of the GM and it was long and not a common one, so I asked for the server to spell it for me. So Jonathan decided that he was going to spell the last name out like was a second grader very slow.

The room I got was on the sixth floor. It had a GORGEOUS view and when I walked into the room, it smelled and looked fresh. There was nothing wrong with the hotel at all. The bed was wonderfully made and comfortable and it was relaxing to spend my night in this hotel.

Excellent hotel close to the airport. First rate desk service. I cannot recommend the hotel restaurant. Overpriced mediocre food. (Like most hotels). Room was clean, comfortable, with up to date furnishings. Have already booked a return stay here.

Had a great stay kudos to Marissa at the front counter she made our stay awesome and anytime I come back to San Antonio this Hilton will be top on my list. Food was awesome also, it's rare to get a good restaurant in an hotel. Thanks for the awesome stay.

Booked a King bed on the executive level with a decent travel agent rate. No hassle with booking the room. Room had a nice view but pretty standard as far as amenities go. Couldn't get the digital key to unlock the door through mobile phone to work, but may of been because of spotty mobile connection.

Awesome place. Great customer service. In fact it will be my hotel to stay every time I go to S. A. Clean and smell great. Wonderful view. Quiet room, great pillows an matress.

Fast friendly on time employees. The beds are so comfortable the down pillows n comforter are so comfortable it makes your sleep whole lot easier. Safe environment.

My default place when traveling to San Antonio. Minutes away from the airport, especially great for late evening flights when you want to get to hotel asap to rest. Friendly customer service and rooms are good. Decent food options downstairs and now they even have a Starbucks. If you are honors member with status, you can get breakfast on the 14th floor executive lounge. A good sized gym too. There is 24 hours shuttle service to airport, just call the front desk to arrange a pickup or drop-off.

Room was generally clean and comfortable. The bed was pretty comfortable however a wall sconce was missing the glass cover so it felt a little more run down than it should have. Cleaning crew was accommodating with respect to cleaning times. Breakfast was decent.

Place looks old inside, like it should be in a Stephen King movie. Rooms are small and cramped, never any parking, always had to park on the roof of the parking garage. Never carts to bring in your luggage. Definitely not worth what they charge, I would probably pay no more than $75 for a single bed or no more than $100 for a double bed here. For the same price or less, you can get a jacuzzi room at Best Western and much more space and parking and seems cleaner. I would never go to Hilton again.

Bloody Sheets: Saturday, June 24th my husband and I stayed at the Hilton San Antonio Airport location. We arrived and spent 20 minutes waiting in line to get checked in. Once checked in we went to our room and were initially satisfied with the looks of it. We got back for the evening and watched TV for a little bit and at 11pm tried to turn in for the night. Pulling back the sheets we found they were made upside down and immediately spotted a large blood colored stain. I called downstairs and was hung up on and when I called back was told that they were very busy. I explained I just wanted to know how long they expected since I was trying to go to be and obviously wasn't expecting bloody sheets. I was told 10, 15 minutes tops and to call back if no one has come by then. My husband called at 25 minutes and told them to forget it. We were very tired and just wanted to go to bed. He told them to cancel the order. There was never even an apology or concern that they should fix this quick. Luckily they make the bed with 3 sheets so we removed the top sheet from on top of the comforter and removed the bloody sheet. In the light of day I found 2 more blood spots on the same sheet and pretty much every piece of linen of the bed had a stain or two. It was apparent that the housekeeper saw the two blood spots at the top of the sheet and flipped it to the bottom to hide it. Apparently missing the third much larger blood spot.

Room was clean when we went in, it was lacking amenities like enough towels and enough blankets for the amount of people staying in the room. The pull out couch bed was kind of hard and the blankets were a bit thin. The service was nice tho, went to the morning buffet and we only had 1 free voucher for the buffet, but our waitress allowed it to count for both. The lobby had a flight departure screen which allowed people to keep track of flights. Overall a decent experience and the location is nice considering its distance from the airport.

I recently stayed in this Hotel for a whole weekend great experience ever! Denise at front desk was amazing, professional and very helpful she went above and beyond to make us feel at home also Terry and Alesha where great but definitely Denise was the best I recommend this facility to anyone!

Stayed here for business for 5 nights, shuttle has a 3 mile radius and will take you to and from airport. Rooms are nice, a tad small. Full service desk in rooms with USB ports, Ethernet, and multiple plugs for charging devices. The restaurant near the lobby has an executive chef, the small menu reflects that in price and quality. I echo Jared's review below mine. There are some very strange noises and such. I sleep like the dead once I'm asleep, but I could see a light sleeper having some serious issues.

Good hotel, a bit old. Do need to improve the care of the staff in the lobby as I did give it several turns.

Not my best Hilton experience. I'll start with the good. The room was nice, comfortable, and clean. It's a good location very close to the airport. The staff was very friendly. Now for the negative… When I arrived, I waited for almost 10 minutes outside for a valet to get my car keys. But that was only after I went ahead and walked inside, and he got me in there. While waiting at the registration desk, I overheard another guest telling the staff that someone had broken into his truck. When I inquired further, I was told that was the 2nd vehicle burglary in "about a month". When getting up to my floor, it stunk. The hallway smelled like mildew, badly. Getting into the room, it was fine though. I had dinner elsewhere, but did stop at the bar for a glass of wine and a desert. I ordered a brownie. Nothing complicated, but it still took about 20 minutes to get it. While waiting, there were gnats flying all around. I noticed everyone seated at the bar swatting them away from their food and drinks. My brownie was so tough I had to use the plastic knife to cut it into bite size pieces. I gave up half way in. It's convenient, but I probably won't stay here again.

Not bad. Strongly recommend if you stay here to walk down behind the hotel towards the convenience store. There's a bunch of restaurants and a shaved ice place. I didn't know this until after my trip. Also walk a few blocks down the road and there is a soup and salad place. Awesome.

Received a lesser room than was booked. Room was clean but there was a loud clanking noise (pipes? ) every 10 minutes. I didn't try to switch rooms due to the previous poor service at the front desk. Elevators were slow, I believe due to a few being out of service. Parking was free and in a garage so that was good. I used reward miles to book this room. I would be extremely unhappy if I had paid the going rate.

Very clean and neat. Room was spacious. Friendly staff and turn down service available. Served and chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary.

I only attended one day out of a 3 day conference. I had a good experience, nothing to complain about. They accommodated roughly 200+ people very well. Restrooms were neat and well maintained and lobby was big enough for people to roam around and stretch their legs during the breaks. I can't really say I received the entire experience, but from what I observed, people were enjoying themselves.

The hotel was very dirty and not as clean as it shows in the pictures. The restaurant is a whole different thing! Silverware and glasses were very dirty like they have never been washed. In fact in would suggest before having breakfast, just look at the plates and glasses and you will see food residue all over (I'm more exaggerating at all). I will never stay in this hotel any more.

My stay was great. I stayed in a king suite on the 5th floor on sat night. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room and bathroom were well kept and clean.

It is the first Hilton who have spoken to me in Spanish, all the staff is very friendly and funny. The beds are extremely comfortable.

We didn't have a microwave in our room. Every hotel I've ever stayed at has a microwave so this was extremely odd to me. We called front desk about it, she said we should have one, we assured her we did not and she did say we could go up front to use theirs but how inconvenient is that. This was my first time staying at a Hilton and quite honestly I expected much more, not sure I'll ever stay at one again due to cost and lack of a basic appliance.

I've expected better from a Hilton hotel before and while this one wasn't terrible, it still left much to be desired. Positives: the bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom, while small had adequate marble counter space and what appeared to be an upgraded raised sink with Kohler fixtures. The surroundings, both in room and bathroom were impeccably clean throughout. The hotel provided toiletries were: lint free polishing cloth, shower cap, face and body bar soap, shampoo and conditioner. Plenty of face towels, but only two hand towels and two bath towels. A hair dryer hung on the back of the bathroom door in its own bag. There is also a working iron, ironing board and personal safe located in the closet adjacent to the room entrance. There is also a new microwave and refrigerator in the room. Negatives: only one telephone in the room, a paltry 32" Panasonic LCD television (newer), one trash bin in the room and a small narrow one in the bathroom, yet no recycling containers, no wired internet, as had been advertised and the wireless signal was weak in my far corner room. There was an electrical outlet built into the desk, yet the USB port wasn't functional and upon closer inspection it wasn't operational because it was not plugged into anything (this would also explain why the Ethernet port wasn't working either).

Very beautiful hotel and I did enjoy my stay. The staff was very helpful and I felt like I was at home…

Overall okay. Nice parking garage and decent food at restaurant. I had a room by a staff elevator so there was constant noise outside my door day and night. If I wasn't a heavy sleeper it would have been an issue.

Customer service is EXCELLENT. Victoria & (Jennifer) went ABOVE and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. The view is spectacular. Victor, Jared and the rest of the Asado bar staff where fun and entertaining. Not your typical "what do you want" bar staff. Very friendly, funny and fresh. I'll be staying here again. Customer service is everything.

They gave me a free Wi-Fi code when I asked about internet. The internet was slow but it was free I guess.

Bathroom smelled really bad. Wifi was HORRIBLE! Even after I spent some time on the phone with tech support. Was hoping reviews were just bitter people, but they were right. Never staying here again.

I was sent here this week on a business trip with a colleague. The rooms had been booked with the same card information at the same time using the same method the previous Friday. Myself, a white man, checked into my room with no problems. Didn't have to put a card down, didn't have to pay anything. However, my colleague who happens to be a tall black man was not able to check into his room the first night because they needed more "verification" from our company. Luckily, my room had a second bed, he stayed with me, until management at my company was able to sort things out with the front desk. Racist, nonetheless. The next night I had bought myself enough pizza to last me the whole week of lunches while I was at my training seminar. There was no room in the fridge which was no big deal, because I had anticipated that but let's be real, pizza is good for 3 or 4 days sitting on the counter in a room that was 62 degrees. When I came back to the hotel the following day, the maids had thrown my pizza away. When I approached the front desk about this, they refused to even comp me a single meal at the restaurant, saying that it should of been in the refrigerator. The following morning, I was woke up at 7 am to construction, hammers, drills, and saws in the room next to me with not so much of a notice. When I brought it up to them, all they did was apologize, they didn't offer me anything even after the horrid experience they refused to do anything to make me happy.

Ok so my company used this hotel a lot. I am was there on business. At arrival I was supposed to get breakfast coupons. This didn't happen. Breakfast is very over priced and really isn't that good. I was staying for 10 days. Leaving for 3 then supposed to come back. Well the hole first week I dealt with being placed around a bunch of people in town parting. Every time I called the front desk was told "it's that time of year". Every time I turned my TV on I had to call the front desk due the video not working. EVERY TIME! was never fixed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. My company has stopped using them due to the issues my boos and I had on our last stay. I would say any of the Hamptons are better than this place. I can't believe they are still open. Oh not to mention the construction that is ok to at 3am. Dills going and hammers. I could keep going, point is don't waste your money here.

I had to check out early because of a family emergency and they had the audacity to charge me full price. Shame on them and their policies. Never again will I stay at another Hilton.

I am here for a course that is being held in the hotel for three weeks, otherwise I would have left the first day. Many in my group requested refrigerators and microwaves with their room reservations and were told they would have one. When I showed up they said sorry, we have a lot of construction and things going on. I'd been dropped off at the grocery store on the way from the airport and had groceries with me. I pitched a small fit as I listened to the guy next to me trying to check in. He'd reserved a king room months ago and they aplogized but they'd have to move him to a double standard. Many people in my group who have reservations for 20 nights still don't have refrigerators a week in. The desk employee said she'd call and get a frig set up in my room. I came back down shortly after to ask if I could get a microwave and the other employee informed me "no one has refrigerators". They were out. There were a lot of people in the same boat. Hmmmm no kidding. The employee I'd spoken with previously intervened and the two chatted among themselves, the second insisting there were no more refrigerators and most of them didn't work anyway and needed to be tested. I did get the refrigerator, after they offered to have room service come get my groceries and take them to some staff refrigerator in an unknown location. It takes 2.5 hours and three calls to room service to get a bottle opener. When you finally go downstairs, find room service and get it yourself.

It's unfortunate that I have to give a bad review when 90% of the stay was fine. Most of the staff was very helpful and courteous, the room was clean and comfortable, pool was nice, and the free shuttle service was a great feature. However, the issues we did have, no one seemed to want to be held accountable for and it is difficult to figure out who to blame. We got dropped off at the mall by the shuttle and called to be picked up. They told us it would be 20 minutes. We called after 30 minutes, she assured us it was on the way. Finally after 45 minutes, I called to inform the front desk that we couldn't wait any longer because I had to be somewhere, and were just going to have to start walking (at 3 in the afternoon, in Texas, in August). She just replied 'ok' and seemed entirely unconcerned. They have a book of features in the rooms which states CLEARLY that they have food available from midnight to 6am. Nothing special, but some sandwiches and salads and stuff. After getting a ride home late one night and not eating beforehand, planning on eating off the late night menu when we got back, we were informed that they did not, in fact, have food available for us. So we had to turn around and go BACK out to find a Denny's. All of this trip was done on my credit card, except for one thing. My girlfriend bought a monster energy drink with her card for 3.25 the first day.

Listen to what others say. Stayed at many other Hiltons this is a hilton by name only! between the dirty old rooms that smell of smoke and the unrelenting construction it was less the satisfactory! Go elsewhere.

My husband and I ate in the restaurant and got food poisoning. The hotel is not by my standards a Hilton.

This hotel is not fitting of the Hilton name. It's old, dirty, and has terrible service from the front desk to the restaurant. We had mold in our shower, the air froze the room, it was ridiculous all around. Plenty of better hotels in the area to choose from.
