My stay was excellent. I arrived around 2:30 and my assigned room wasn't quite ready, so they bumped me up to another available room. I would have been fine waiting the 5 minutes, but they were willing to help me out. Decent room and location.

Be aware, this La Quinta location IS NOT dog friendly. Our room was extremely damp and smelled like mildew. The receptionist was very nice and accommodating.

Amazing location, it was close to the event. This location was very easy to find and the. Breakfast was amazing as well. Everyone who worked their was very friendly.

Just like the commercials say, the lobby areas were very spruced and lovely… but the room seemed very basic and dated. Since guests spend more in the room than the lobby, how about spending some resources there?! Just a thought. There was a group of gradeschoolers staying over on my floor, a lot of noise, got very little rest. Front staff were very apologetic and offered to comp the room, which was very kind. Overall, average experience. There's a reason why I pretty much stick to Marriott as a reward member, for business travel. Predictable comfort and accommodations.

You have everything close to supermarket, pharmacy, hospital, restaurants.

Set expectations to a two star hotel. Ok so what do you get? Free ample parking, 24 hr fitness center, breakfast everyday where the food doesn't run out and overall friendly service Cons: the room doesn't get as cool as I'd like. It's capped at 69F however the room still felt humid. The pillow and mattress were ok and it was tough getting a good sleep. For about $84 per night can't complain.

The outside looks more like a resort! It was so beautiful! The rooms were very clean and needs were comfortable. It was great that the AC was already on I'm our room when we got there. The free breakfast was pretty awesome — eggs, patties, waffles and muffins everyday! I really appreciated that they had several flavors of coffeemate creamer for my coffee.

Very nice and helpful staff. Location was easy to locate and close to restaurants & stores. Continental breakfast was great with waffles, sausage, potatoes, muffins, fruit… etc. Only thing I didn't like was the location of their pool, in between the 2 buildings it only got sun for 2 early hours of the day.

I just want to say that La Quinta Inn was a Godsend to me and my family. My father was rushed from New Braunfels to San Antonio and was admitted to University Hospital. When family members flew in, we booked a room at La Quinta. The room was spotless and the staff very accommodating. They have a shuttle that runs between the hotel and hospital. I would highly recommend La Quinta on Medical Drive to anyone. It is a beautiful place that has a wonderful staff.

I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. It is like a Country Inn and Suites it a Best Western Plus. My previous experience of La Quinta was very poor and I had never stayed there since. This was a Hotwire Hot Deal fir a 3 star property. My only complaint is the carpeting in the room is in need of replacement. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

Free breakfast buffet is excellent. Always fresh with good variety. Rooms very clean and updated, staff always friendly. I have stayed at places that were not as nice but cost more. Only negative for me is the smoking area. There is one chair and it is in an awkward spot in the middle of a sidewalk… pretty much in the way.

This is the second time my bf and I have stayed at La Quinta. We love it. It is always a great place to go and get away. The room we get is beautiful. It's like a small apartment. Always super clean and neat. We will be staying here again.

Extremely professional staff, extremely accommodating, and friendly as well. Rooms are nice! Not newly renovated, but it had big TVs and was comfy! The only bad thing is the pillows (shredded memory foam I think. Not super comfy), but if you bring your own it isn't a problem! Gilbert was a big help, so shout out to you!

I took a star off because the TV was on the small side and the room was a very basic hotel room. I am indifferent about if I would stay here again or not. Update: I docked another star because the breakfast options were not great but I would say typical to comparable quality hotels. The eggs were flavorless, the potatoes soggy and flavorless and the coffee was watered down. They had other pastry options and waffles but I did not try any of those items.

The rooms where nice and clean. They were very quick to grabs us more towels when asked and the conference hall was very well organized.

We have stayed at this specific La Quinta probably five times in the last three months. Every time the experience was decent, except for this time. We got in bed and immediately started feeling itchy. It wasn’t long before we began noticing long black hairs all throughout the sheets (we are both very blonde, they were not ours). We called the front desk and asked for more sheets, instead they suggested us moving to another room. I didn’t want to pack and unpack everything again, so they delivered sheets, but they made us take the dirty sheets off the bed, and put the clean ones on. I feel like they should have had a housekeeper switch the sheets and take the dirty ones out for us. We had to sleep with the pile of dirty sheets in our room all night. Generally, I’m easy to please with hotel rooms. I know La Quinta isn’t a 5 star resort, but when the sheets are dirty in the room I paid for I feel like we shouldn’t be the ones switching them out. This experience was 1 star, but I gave two because the other experiences were average.

The room is comfortable, the breakfast could be a little more varied, but it's okay in general.

The hotel smells clean as soon as you walk into the doors. When we got to the room it was perfect! Everything smelled fresh and everything was in its perfect little place. The hotel staff was very friendly and polite. The breakfast was extensive… scrambled eggs, sausage links, fried cubed potatoes, assorted muffins and bread, fresh fruit, oatmeal, assorted juices, milk and coffee and lets not forget the Texas shaped Belgian waffles. This is the ABSOLUTE BEST breakfast we have ever had at a hotel. No complaints from us and when we visit again, this will be the only place we stay! It is conveniently located next to the highway. We had no problems finding our way back to the hotel after our excursions :-)

The hotel was nice and clean. Entryway was very inviting and large. The rooms are clean and well kept. Overall good experience. Cant think of anything bad to say but nothing to brag about.

Friendly service, very clean building and nice surroundings. Breakfast was well prepared and was even ready when I got there early. Room was nice and clean, and overall had a very pleasant experience.

My family and I stayed at this hotel this weekend and it was the worse experience ever! If I could rate it a 0 I would. It all stated during our check in the young lady working the front desk was super drunk you could smell alcohol on her breath she couldn't find our reservation & then it took her an hour to check us in because she continued to stop and talk to her wife & to top it off she continued to give other guest keys to our room. Once we finally got to our room we had no hot water, when asking what could be done she changed our rooms and that room had such a bad odor we just stayed in the room that had no hot water because our child can't handle smell very well. So we finally get settled into our room go to bed and wake up to bed bug bites, we knew it was bed bugs because my girlfriend is horribly allergic, when speaking to the front desk we were told they look like mosquito bites and our complaints were all ignored. Being that it was the holiday weekend finding a new hotel was impossible to find. When returning from a day out and hoping for a better night experience it ended being worse my girlfriend was bitten several more time but this time her whole body was swollen and red. When going to the front desk again with pictures of her body I was told they don't have bed bugs and that they were mosquito bites. Needless to say I will be reporting this to whom ever I need to because the service was horrible & the cleanliness was the worse.

We arrived Sept 2 and check out was on the 4th. The staff was nice. The rooms were small, and our a/c unit did not work properly. The room felt very humid. Told the front desk, and nothing was done My son found a bed bug catcher under the beds. The room had a bad odor. We asked for a wake up call and never got one. This will be the last time we stay here. They only get one star so I could be allowed to post.

It was very clean, very nice decor and cozy. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. Had a great breakfast in a room looking outside at the pool and patio area with Palm trees. Staff was super and helpful. I will stay any time I visit the area in the future.

Rooms are standard rooms. They are dated. The carpet either needs replaced or cleaned deeply. There is no bar for an evening nightcap. The location is great for everything. UPDATE: Came back after a day out and the carpets had been deep cleaned and the room smelled much better!

Decent room. No roll away beds. Some of our lights didn't work. Breakfast was good. Would stay there again.

The hotel offers, free breakfast, a pool, and a workout room. Its a great place to stay since its seems to be in the middle of the entire city. Everything does not seem to far off and the rooms are very clean. Will definitely dtay here again.

LaWsuits Inn and Suites on Harizon Blvd in San Antonio TX is a very comfortable, respectively clean atmosphere makes your stay worth the trip!

Fire alarms went off during the night multiple times, breakfast was mediocre, rooms were mediocre. The staff was friendly though so that's a plus.

Not pet friendly. Unlike all of the other La Quinta Inns in the country. Was excited to book this hotel, but thankfully called to double check pet policy before booking, and finally got someone who picked up the phone, and she told me that they don't allow pets and that "it's listed on the website. " Well, I combed the website, didn't see anything. Such an important policy chance should be easily accessible on the website and reflected on all the websites advertising rooms. Very disappointed.

Workers a the counter always greet me and are very friendly. I work with a pizza company and deliver here constantly. This hotel out of all the others I've been to have the most friendliest staff.

Great service but only bad thing was shower head was a pain. Other than that, perfect 5 star.

I'm sorry, this is absolutely ridiculous. I have been calling this hotel for the past 3 hours to book a conference room and they are out at lunch. What kind of company has a 3 hour lunch break for their employees so the guests of this hotel can have zero service. Good luck if you plan on having any conference event here. Lunch time is from 11-3 folks!

Andres at the front desk was the only employee actually working. He ran his butt off taking care of us. My wife has fibromyalgia and needs hydrotherapy after long car rides. The pool area opens at 7 according to the sign. At 8:30, it was still locked, and when Andres unlocked it, the hot tub was shut off and stone cold. No hydrotherapy for you. The engineer (didn't get his name) and the other guy whose jacket covered his badge gave us non apologetic apologies. The breakfast was terrible, with little that someone allergic to pork could eat other than carbs. Won't stay here again.

Light went off since 2am. Can't sleep. Its 3:48am and still no light to see anything or AC to sleep. The worst part, no one is picking up downstairs.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly but the room could use a little more cleaning. Found a piece of cake under bed? But I enjoyed my overall experience.

Awesome customer service. Staff were caring and thoughtful to our need. I would visit this place again AND again with family. The front desk was the best ever. I would like to send a special thanks to Ms. Pamela. She went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. I will never forget how caring she was and her manager. We need more people like them. The hotel gm lissa what a rude and disrespectful person. She does not know how the importance is of phone etiquette she does not know how to follow directions or answer questions Wow I would not want to work with somebody like that… please hire new good people. No wonder people quite…

I was very impressed by this hotel! The beds are AMAZING! It was very clean everywhere and the staff was extremely nice. ESPECIALLY I want to mention and thank "Carlos" who works at the front desk as well he was very helpful and nice. I will be back to stay again soon. Most likely I will mention & recommend this hotel to family and my friends! Thank You!

If you ever have any medical to be done in SA and need a place to stay afterwards, this hotel has the most amazing and gracious staff! Back in Dec 2014 My son was released from the hospital unexpectedly and couldn't take the drive back home. I called this hotel explained my situation and the front desk staff assured me that we would be taken care of. Even offering a medical situation discount to me. I go to check in and the staff had a wheelchair ready waiting for my son at the front desk. Knowing it was just me and my son they offered any possible help with getting him safely up to the room and making him most comfortable. We weren't in the room an hour and the front desk staff called up to us wanting to make sure we were situated and to make sure my son was doing well. Later that night they personally came up to check on us and stood watch over the room and listened for my son so I could go outside to retrieve some items needed. Woke up to the morning staff calling to ask if we would like any help with breakfast offering to deliver it to us or bring a wheelchair up for my son. They helped check us out and made sure that my son was comfortable for his ride back home. I couldn't possibly even begin to express how this hotel and their staff made both me and my son feel welcomed, safe, and supported through our ordeal. If I could give them 10 stars and a raise to all staff I would!

We travel and we always stay at La Quinta Hotels simply because it's pet friendly! We booked this place because Mother had a nursing conference she was attending and this one was THE ONLY ONE in San Antonio that had vacancy for this weekend, so we checked out the website and saw nothing out of the ordinary. Thus we booked a 4 day stay! We drove 368 miles and I'll preface by saying mother and myself have diabetes, well on arrival Mother went to check in and was informed THIS LA QUINTA WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE CHAIN TO BE NON PET! We did not see this on their website so that was a misleading point on the hotels part; the manager on duty informed us that our pet had to be in a transport cage going out or in to the hotel, and we followed her instructions to a tee! The second full day of our stay, mother had her conference which was across town! So I took her in the early morning and then returned to our room, where over the course of a 6 hour period our dog barked maybe 3 or 4 times. We received 2 phone calls and then a wknd supervisor with a attitude came banging on our door claiming a disturbance of a dog barking, then on returning that afternoon with mother, another woman supervisor with an attitude decided she wanted to assert power and embarrass us in the lobby, Needless to say this has been one of the worst hotels we have stayed at in the chain.

What an awesome hotel! We arrived to an awesome and patient staff that helped us with our check in and to direct us in our travels. This one experience will keep us going back to La Quinta.

Older location. Facility could have been cleaner! Breakfast was convenient and easy access to interstate.

Hotel was great, nice room, serve and they had a wonderful breakfast and was also able to check in early as well. Hoe was very clean. We will stay there aging.

Rip off watch out! When we booked your third party they gave us a king bed and said to call the hotel to get the doubles. When we call the hotel they said there would be a $70 charge to go from a single bed to 2 beds. When you add that to the $95 we already paid it would have been cheaper to stay in a three or four star hotel.

Wifi SUCKS! CAN'T CONNECT TO ANYTHING! Had to find a starbucks to finish my work.
