I have stayed here on 3 or 4 diffident occasions. The front desk clerks are exceptional! They know how to make a person feel welcome. I feel safe while staying here and the rooms are Comfortable. I agree with some of the reviews about the rooms could use some updating, but all in all I was very happy. Staff is great!

The bed was very comfortable, I really like it simple but clean, at the time I needed a crib but the place was super packed so I didn’t get one oh well… other than that it was really good my room had a sofa that could also turn into a bed for an extra person… so it was alright. Also the breakfast was good, they had egg, bacon, yogurt, all kinds of juice, bread, fruit, cereal and pancakes, the staff at night was really nice. My room had microwave and a coffee maker, so that’s a plus.

"Never again Wilson! " Front desk attendant was a great actress, smiling in my face all the while double charging me for a room, then putting me in a musty room with no AC, then moving me to a smaller room and trying to charge me the same price for the larger suite, of which the bathroom floor was cracked, drawer kept coming open even after we closed it, AC made loud rattling noise, "you name it! " Just not happy with this hotel at all. Staff tried to "correct things" way too late in the game for me to give it anything more than 1 star… and I still have two more nights in this hotel…

This HIE hotel was okay. Not the best but will consider it in the future if I had to. The front desk staff didn't have change for a $10.00 bill so I can do my laundry. After traveling for the past 4 days I really wanted to wash clothes and had to wait until my next stop. Other than that, it was a decent stay.

A very nice room with a comforting atmosphere. Everything was clean and I didn't feel like I was getting a cheap experience. Good price. Good service. Good hotel.

We have stayed at several Holiday Inns before, this was by far our WORST experience ever. We stayed 3 nights and 3 nights of NO hot water, air conditioner wasn't working properly, limited parking. There were MANY customers complaining of the same reason about no hot water. Met with the "manager" on Monday morning who assured me the hot water problem would be resolved that day, came back later that night still no hot water… we won't be staying at this location again …

Our first night here we couldn't even find parking. There was no spaces available. The next morning there was no hot/warm water to shower. All that was coming out was cold water. Called reception, the answer that we got was that everyone in the hotel was taking showers and that was the reason there was no warm water. They went ahead and told us there was nothing they could do for us. Well, thanks for your honesty holiday inn.

Nice options for breakfast. Wifi has been down for 2 days, which seems consistent with the general state of maintenance.

My mother had an anaphylactic reaction because of an improperly cleaned microwave. There was NEVER a manager on duty to address this issue. The beds were horrible. Broke down and uncomfortable. In General a Bad experience.

Maybe it was just a bad day for the hotel and for us but I'm willing to give it a second try on our next trip to San Antonio. We arrived around 9pm, our room was given to someone else and the only room available had a queen bed and a pull out sofa. Well, this seemed to be challenging for a family of 4 with little kids. We were all exhausted and decided to go for it. The pull out sofa was horrible, uneven, very hard and worn out. Obviously there was nothing else they could do but refund our points. When morning came, the pipes were dry, no WATER. The whole hotel with all the rooms occupied was out of water… To cut the long story short, they send us to another hotel to take showers. The gentleman who was at the front desk that morning was very content and efficient despite all the pressure and complaints he had to deal with. I'll give them a try again soon.

The hotel had a water problem so I couldn’t check in on time around 330pm. The male receptionist was nice and welcoming. He offered to cancel my reservation and I could contact another hotel however since I was using my points to stay here I decided to wait about 30 mins for my room. The room was nice. Plenty of pillows and relatively comfortable bed. A kuerig coffee maker is inside the room with 4 coffee pods. A really nice touch. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Tv is small but suitable for room size. I stayed here New Year’s Eve so I didn’t spend very much time inside the room. I had a view of the nice size pool but the weather was in the 20s so no need for the outdoor pool. There is easy access inside the hotel from 4 different doors. I felt secure staying here. There’s a Starbucks across the street a gas station and a restaurant all within easy walking distance. I had a major problem taking a shower in the morning since I only had about 1 minute of hot water then it turned very cold. I mentioned this to the female receptionist when I checked out and she was very nice and offered to compensate me for the trouble with points. The breakfast is from 630 to 9. I really didn’t enjoy the breakfast but maybe I just selected the wrong things. Pork Sausage is good but turkey sausage is rubber. Eggs omelette was not very good. Bagel with jelly was really the only thing I ate.

Excelent service, great rooms and the hotel very close to a Lot of deparmet stores and great restaurants. At one side of one of the most important San Antonio's highways.

It was a nice clean room with a comfortable bed. The food was pretty good. Customer service was nice.

Parking is very limited. The one elevator for the entire unit broke down while we were exploring san antonio. Coming back after midnight having to climb 4 flights of stairs with a sleeping child was a bit different. The room was clean and the bed as always very comfortable. Acces to I-10 is greatand the main reason it was chosen. Parking is the deal breaker for next time.

The amenities are outstanding. They housekeeping is impeccable. All of the staff are very friendly and personal. You're a true computers as well as fax and copier. USA Today available Monday through Friday. Cheerful place to have breakfast every day of the week. The breakfast offerings are excellent. I also had a Keurig coffee machine in my room laundry service and a small area to pick up snacks. The grace time after the noon checkouts is approximately 2 hours. This is wonderful when you have children or a lot of things for business to take care of.

Staff was friendly and attentive to questions and concerns. I was incorrectly billed and the issue was fixed right away.

Not impressed. Wasn't greeted as a rewards member. Key didn't work after 11pm and breakfast was too crowded.

Great staff and accommodations. Walked in without a reservation and the night clerk very accommodating. Breakfast was better most place. Left my keys along with my credit card, 3 hours lTer realized I gave left my card with room cards. Called and yes the had them. Therefore an extra star for doing that!.

Will had very poor customer service and was very rude. Asked for a crib and never recieved. Had to pick it up 4 hours later. Will not return to this establishment because of the terrible customer service.

Nice rooms and staff. Unfortunately had money taken from my room. Wifi is spotty. Complaints arnt answered right away. While housekeeping came in the moved my medication causimg me to think I lost it. Delicious breakfast though. Sometimes while outside sketchy people can amd will harass you.

This hotel sucks. The carpet in the room and hall smell really really bad. They have no hot water. They have contolls put on the shower and bathtub faucets that only let you have luke warm water. I get out of bath or shower and have to run the blow dryer to get warm. Not even hot enough to fog the mirror. Not much warmer then a swimming pool. Room large and breakfast is good. Great selection with scrambled eggs (too runny) gravey, bisquits, sausage links and patties both, pancake machine, no waffles, fresh fruit, hot cinnamon rolls, yogurt, instant oatmeal in a single cup not package, cold cereal, bread slices, bagels, and milk in single serve cartons. Rooms have microwave and frig, desk, and lounge chair. Bed is hard, but not lumpy. Overall if carpets were replaced and they took the controllers off the hot water it would be a good place to stay. Parking is good except they do not allow trailers. They want you to park all trucks with trailers at gas station across the street.

The employees were cheerful and quick to help. The room had a bit of a wonky chair which was difficult to sit in as it didn't lock in at any specific height, and we found a yellow rag on the couch armrest. The food was great and it was all in all a good stay.

Excellent location/price to the north of San Antonio to visit Six Flags.

The room were clean & bed comfortable. Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was definitely convenient & sustained me till lunch.

Room was average, the room service was good, all the common areas seem a bit outdated and the carpet on the hallways had a very strong awful smell. The gym was being renovated so we couldn't use it during our stay, same with the meeting room (which we needed). A lamp screen fell off right when we got into the room, we reported it but no-one fixed it during our stay. I would say that I am not overall satisfied with the price I payed for my stay.

This well. There are rooms with a little room extra.

My husband and I needed a room for the night and this place was great! When I walked in I was greeted by a nice young man by the name of stephan. He was extra helpful and made my experience a whole lot better! Thank you for all your help! Will definitely be back!

Everything that I want in one place.

The staff was great and the breakfast was above average. However, the room that we stayed in was very humid and musty smelling. It was very strong and almost oppressive. My significant got sick while we were there. It could have just been a coincidence of course, but his sinuses started clogging up, started having difficulty breathing, and general feeling of unwell. We would have asked for another room but by this time we just decided we were ready to be home. We checked out about 1 AM and just headed home instead of sleeping another night there.

The room that we got had a smell of damp throughout the room. The pillows had an odor bad. The bathroom did not have enough toilet paper tube to go to ask for toilet paper. The desalluno was good only that there was not enough es or tables for eating, the better I ate in my room.

Very clean. Very nice staff House keeping for some reason refuses to leave a full amount of bath towels normally provided. One day no wash cloths, the next no hand towels, them no wash cloths. Maintenance fixed a broken light for us within a few hours of us reporting it. Overall a great value and a pleasant stay. Appreciate the military rate too.

The hotel was very clean, very comfortable. I didn't like the food at breakfast. It all seemed plastic. Other than that my stay was pleasant.

I was bitten by something all night long, and when I complained they told me it was maybe just mosquitos and there was nothing they could do. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I wish I could post pictures of my bites on this review. I would not recommend staying here, they customer service is sub par at best and they don't value their guests. I'm super pissed!

The location was great, especially because it's out of the busy city but in the center of stuff to do. The rooms were nice and clean, the people there were awesome and it was a great experience overall.

We've stayed here several times over the past year (January, April, July, August, December). It's location being the main reason. We haven't had any problems, but once with a remote issue which was taken care of within the hour of our arrival. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the pool with the grand-kids during our summer stay. Haven't used the business center or the weight room yet. Their breakfast is pretty good with lots of choices. During our first visits the pancake machine didn't work, but since our summer trips it's worked. Parking is limited especially if you want your vehicle within sight of your room. To get a good parking spot remember the phrase "Early bird catches the worm" because it seems most guests return to their rooms in the early evening making it impossible to get a great spot. Overall I love it, that's why I go back!

Day 2 of 7 here. They upgraded us to a suite at no charge because we will be here so long. Very clean, awesome breakfast and nice looking. However, not thrilled with the big map signs that say "sauna ^" and they don't even have a sauna. Cardio equipment is nice and new, but disappointed that there isn't even a tiny weight set or machine, especially when the gyms nearby don't have free or weekly guest privileges. The pool was filthy when we got here, asked the front desk who said "it's closed for the winter" the next morning we saw a worker cleaning the pool (it looked great clean), who said "the pool is always open" — not thrilled that the front desk worker doesn't know anything. They also don't have turndown service or "do not disturb" signs for the rooms, but for a cheap hotel it works.
