I had the best experience while staying in this hotel. The room was super clean and the management is super professional especially the general manager Mr. Doug. I highly recommend everyone to stay at this hotel if you are looking. It's very affordable and providing the best services. Cheers.

We rented two rooms for three nights. Overall, everything was totally to our super satisfaction. From booking the hotel, to front desk and the housekeeping personnel, totally sweet, kind and wonderful. Rooms are super super clean. We just came back from Galveston and stayed there at red roof inn and their rooms were filthy, dirty. We were afraid we were going to expirience the same but it was totally the opposite. Will stay here next time. Thank you all staff.

Been here for a few days already… haven't had any problems the staff is very friendly & helpful. The room is comfy no problems & the plus side is its pet friendly. The breakfast is pretty good as well… its in a convenient location as well.

Not bad for the price. Very kind people. Pool was clean, but cloudy. Room was clean. The only problem was the electric wall plugs, they kept shorting out. Only 2 plugs in a handicap room and had to unplug lights and clock so I could charge my phone and use my CPAP. But in all I had a good night.

Nice location, older Inn friendly staff, clean for the most part. Our room was a pet room, unfortunately you could smell it from the very soiled carpet. In my opinion, All carpets should be removed from these pet rooms.

This is by far the worst hotel of La Quinta I've ever stayed … two rooms down from me a bunch of kids are having a party in their room and are making lots of noise, and the guys arr drinking outside of the room. Called the front desk several times to complain and no one picked up. I'm here at 3:30 am writing this review. The only time they would calm down is when the security did his round-up in this section and when they wouldn't see him any more they would start again Will not be staying here anymore. I called again 10 minutes later and spoke to John "the manager" he personally went and took care of the problem. (I finally went to sleep around 4:15 am) And made that people leave. Right now is 7:30 came to have breakfast and spoke to the front desk clerk and John. They were really nice and offered me a discount. That's when he told me he personally took care of the problem.

Clean room and exceptionally helpful staff. The building is a little on the old side but the rooms are clean and mostly modern. Not a bad spot for the price.

Better than average upkeep. Very friendly and helpful staff. A bit short on electrical outlets. Below average pillows — one was too flat, but two were to high.

Not in a great neighborhood, but not too bad either. We felt safe. The front desk guys are great. Very friendly. There is nice size pool for the kids. Rooms are fairly nice even though the place and decor is a bit dated. No elevator, outside entry to rooms. The gas at the Shell station across the street is priced lower than by UT/I-10 exit. Easy on East off I-10. (Great if you are going to Six Flags Fiesta Texas). The coffee at breakfast was surprisingly good, but if you need it, there is a Starbucks right across from the hotel! There is also an IHOP on the frontage road if the hard boiled eggs and waffles don't appeal to you.

Staff is super nice and professional! Rooms were clean and tidy. This was our second stay at this location, will come back again.

It need a real up-grade. I think it in a real great location if they would get on w/Books and put some heads together.

The rooms are very comfortable, equipped with two beds with 3 pillows, a bathroom with bathtub, and a vanity near the bathroom with a tv.

The room was nice, a bit humid but the AC kicked in and it was fine. The shower was warm, and the breakfast was nice. Free Wi-Fi that worked very very well! Overall a good experience for a night.

It’s a pretty good place to stay. Rooms are pretty clean. Starbucks and Walmart close to it. I really enjoyed staying here. Only thing I did not like is their open parking spot. Also internet drop sometime.

Very clean, the beds and pillows very comfortable, the bedding very good quality, have breakfast very healthy, fruits: banana, green apple, orange, yogurt, bagel with create chefs, cereals, waffles and coffee-very delicious.

You do not have a lot of variety in the breakfast. But the rooms are comfortable.

The room was clean, comfy bed. The only thing was when my husband got up to take my son the the restroom and he turned on the light there was a roach on the wall by the sink. It was not an outside roach it was one of those little German roaches. Will probably never stay at this location or recommend until the Issue gets fixed apart from that it was nice, quite, and easy to find. This was room 131.

Our stay at Laquinta, was ok. We were placed near the ice make and the compressor made it hard to sleep. Called the manager who stated the best he could do is move us and with a 9month old, that was a little challenging. Furthermore, they didn't even vacuum the floors, stepped on small rocks, dirt, and trash. We would not stay in this hotel again.

Every time I stay here the rooms are clean and always get greeted with a smile. And right next door they sell beer and have good tacos. Great location.

Don't bother staying here if you don't have a Major credit card. I always book with my debit card. Pay cash. Never an issue with it. Now this one is to uppity to accept that. Ugh.

If you want a basic inexpensive clean room, comfy bed, microwave, etc, this is fine. The staff were also very pleasant. I would use it again. I would give this one a 4 star rating among the 3 star motels. It's right on the highway so ask for a room at the back.

Pretty clean. Quick check in and check out. Back parking is a little spooky at night. Did not see any security. Front staff looked a little "tired" for a Sunday morning lol but they were friendly so that's what counts!

Best experience I have had in staying in a hotel. The staff are kind. The room we stayed very clean. Continental breakfast was great. Wish I could stay longer.

We tried to use this hotel for our crews that will be in town over the next few months. We have 3 rooms tonight and tommorow night. But incidentals are too hi for our guys to tie up every week. And the place is dirty. The guys will have to go back to Best Western. They have a clean hotel and $20 incidental. Sad, the rate was good. But the $75 hold did them in on the over 100 nights we would stay.

I like this hotel. Love the pool! And breakfast is good in the a. M. They also allow pets which is a plus. The security lady gaurd at nite is a beotch and she should put her mouth on a leash and the morning front desk ladies are a tad bit stuck up like. … But the hotel in its self is great.

Great location. Good standard breakfast, although crowded due to lack of space, had to take food back to room to eat. The beds are a little hard but the service staff is great, they were quick to bring g us a rollaway bed. Good restaurants in the vicinity. Close to access the different avenues of entertainment. Had a good stay.

The location is very convenient. The room was very clean with great bathroom facilities. The staff is courteous and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there. Will definitely return.

The hotel is not clean. Rooms are old, carpet stained, walls need paint. Room had large dead roach on floor at check in. Moved rooms but staff did not think bug was a big deal. They did apologize but seemed more curious about bug type then the fact that bug was in room. I have stayed here several times over the last two years, since it's near family I visit in SA. Hotel has declined in quality in that time. I am used to La Quinta hotels and know what to expect. Not looking for five star hotel experience. This used to be a solid three star quality hotel, clean, quiet, good breakfast, courteous staff. Next time I'm here I'm going to try Holiday Inn Express across the street.

Great Stop! The reception goes out of their way to help you out. Good job guys, keep it up. Awesome location and easy to find. There are minor maintenance things to be improved upon, but all in all, I would absolutely stay here again!

Don't let your kids swim here! Both of my kids came out with BLOODY feet! We go swimming in different pools all the time and this has never happened before. The staff wasn't helpful or apologetic at all.

The staff was really friendly, breakfast was really satisfying the rooms were very comfortable and clean, and overall, a good value for your money.

Horrible experience, the staff was not helpful and then when I complained to the manager, the manager made so many excuses covering up for the staff. Unbelievable.

Its cheap and convenient for our dogs. Kinda shady area but we haven't had any problems.

Nice tidy room in a quiet location. Next to a main road to get to any location with ease. Friendly staff and nearby places such as Starbucks and Walmart were great to have.

Maybe not up to par with other La Quinta hotels previously visited. On the ground floor, had close encounter with cockroach, I won! Amazed that hotel chain this big does not have guest laundry facilities! Might be something to consider?

Good rooms, clean and close to the downtown. There is much noise between rooms when people walk or open water faucets.

It's OK for a quick stay but hotel was a little dirty.

Room was well prepared. Right next to highway and only about 10 min from the Alamo Dome. Great stay!

Awful place to stay. Spend more a little more and stay at a different laquinta. Don't make the same mistake we did. Worst laquinta by far!

It was pleasantly good no complaints will return.

The rooms are passable, but I would never stay here again. Staying on the ground floor of the courtyard I killed three roaches in the room. Thankfully management moved me to an upper floor room quickly. There's also an extensive amount of highway noise from I-10, so if you're a light sleeper, bring some ear plugs. The hotel isn't in the best of areas either. Spend a little more per night and get something else worth your money.

We stayed here for my cousin's wedding, 2 rooms worth of hotel space. Sister and her boyfriend had a room to themselves, I don't want to know what they got up to in there. Parents and I were down a different hallway. The first room we were assigned was a non-smoking room that smelled like cigarettes and had a puddle on the floor from a busted AC. They did switch our room for us to the one right next door which smelled fine. Did find a half-full beer can hiding in the curtains, so that was odd. The hotel comped our stay for the issues and promised us if we tried again, they'd do better. This hotel is a mixed bag for me: It's not a bad area of town, but it doesn't have much good going for it nearby. The inner courtyard is neat and the rooms aren't horrible, but you can tell it's one of their older La Quintas with dated carpet (though what La Quinta doesn't have dated carpet) and tiny bathrooms. Update: Stayed here again after the Alamo Bowl. It's still ok. It's a bed to sleep on and there's a TV in the room (sorry to our neighbors about all the yelling. Texas Tech pulled off a huge upset). I wouldn't consider it in the top 10 of La Quintas I've stayed at, but it's not the worst. The big thing: I don't know why you would stay at this La Quinta when there's one about 2 minutes further down I10, a newer one with enclosed hallways in a better seeming neighborhood with prices listed at $5-$10 cheaper. Look into the Medical Center location if you need to find a place.

Google Earth provided me with this location. I read the reviews. I called LQ and was not impressed with the reservationist. My wife went online and made my reservation for a better price. I drove 250 miles to San Antonio just to get some mechanic work done. The mechanic delivered me here at 8:30 a. M. I told the receptionist that I had reservations but was prepared to hang out in the lobby until check in time. She processed me immediately and I went up to my room with free Wi-Fi and all the extras. I am tremendously pleased with the service. The facility is older but clean and very comfortable. If you don't mind I10 noise this is a great place to stay and the Taqueria El Jimador is next door.

Let me sum up my experience: White-trash drunken marital brawl above me — — it raged on for hours, well into the night. Creepy strung out meth addict skulking around rooms (rehab center down the road) — — which are accessible due to open-air hallways, therefore making it a MOTEL. By the way, the deadbolt was broken on the door; lovely touch. Dogs locked in cars in 98 degree weather (management not concerned when mentioned) and people calling my hotel room repeatedly and just breathing into the phone — — — at 1 am. If you want to feel like a potential rape victim then by all means book a room here. I decided at 1 am (and the staff did not care about losing a guest I might add) to leave and head to the Holiday Inn Express down the road. They have security cameras, rooms that are not accessible from the outside of the building and you don't feel like you are going to get bitten by bed bugs.
