Worst experience in many hotel stays. Room was never cleaned although we requested it numerous times. Front desk staff very unprofessional and rude. Facility dirty, they never had enough towels, etc. Will never stay in this location again.

Comfortable rooms. Large suites for families. Open bar. Continental breakfast with an omelette bar. Great coffee!

Front desk is clearly understaffed leading to subpar customer service. I was literally handed my key and told to step aside while I waited on a luggage cart to be brought down, which never actually showed up. Never was even told my room number or any info regarding breakfast times or check out. Room is in terrible need of a remodel and has the odor of room that had previously been a smoking room. (This is in what was listed as a premium suite. ) The worst part by far is the loud obnoxious party going on in the lobby until at least midnight, this is enough to never stay at this property again. The fact that that was even allowed by management is inexcusable. We are on the 8th floor and can hear them over the tv! I can’t imagine how loud it is on lower floors! By all means enjoy yourself, but respect for other guests should be required. Embassy Suites are usually quality hotels, but this is an extremely poor example of the brand.

Place is outdated carpets, bed mattresses, beds not made or presentable. Water leak from vent. For the price not worth the stay. Room 118 where I stayed bed was horrible, bulky mattress, not comfortable, beds are not even made like presentable clean and made? Side door did not work and when guests tried to come in thru that entrance very noisy and could not sleep everytime guest tried to use entrance that does not work? put up a sign or let guests know door does not function properly only for going out not coming in? Very expensive and not even clean and presentable rooms for the price of a nights stay I had booked for $139 online I know there's taxes but anyways total price $189 with taxes plus additional $25 early check in fees which is okay but let guests know before u charge them? then on top they overcharged me and additional $25 early check in? So supposedly it was a mistake that supposedly I should see back in my accnt in 2 — 3 business days? Very disappointed in this hotels room appearances and uncomfortable nights stay for what I paid?

Actually at this point they don't even deserve one star. I got to the hotel at 4 for check-in, my room was not available til after 9 at night. When we got into the room it smelt like someone had dumped a basket of febreeze coated flowers in the room, nice sure but over the next few hours that fresh smell went away and the stinch set in. I had drove over 6 hours to come stay at this hotel with my family for spring break vacation. The hotel advised me after I had checked out that there was a skunk loose in my room and that was the reason for the awful smell. I paid cash for my room then was double charged on my credit card and was told I had not paid cash. Now they are refusing to give me any of my money back so basically I paid $400 for a stain covered skunk room that I had to wait 5 hours to even get into. This was the worse experience I have ever received through Embassy and I will be letting everyone know not to do business here.

Yuck :-/ Can’t recommend this place. Our first room had a broken ac and we were told there was only one other room available. This one. Mold on the ceiling and the shower was just disgusting. Heck there wasn’t even toilet paper in our room. Breakfast was a brown bag with a yogurt, a muffin and a granola bar. If a Hampton inn in New Mexico can figure out how to have a hot breakfast during this pandemic then embassy suites can too… this is simply a way for them to cut costs and blame it on covid. For how much we paid for this room I expected much more.

A nice hotel for the price! great location, and the rooms were clean and a decent size. Is 15 minutes to the river walk. I would stay here another day.

Staff was friendly it was clean just with COVID-19 they only clean the room if u leave for 3 hrs. Lol other than that great place.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights for my work trip. Honestly, I do not have one single complaint, and this is coming from someone who is typically pretty critical. The front desk staff is friendly. The bar staff is absolutely amazing! An unlimited free happy hour from 5:30-7:30 with snacks every night?! And the Cabernet was actually decent. Free! The made to order breakfast was phenomenal! Mark was my absolute favorite part of this stay! He is so personable, and truly seems to enjoy what he is doing! His omelets are to die for! After one day, he remembered my order the next day. I am not a fan of Hilton, and prefer to not stay at Hilton hotels due to bad experiences in the past, but clearly Embassy Suites has a different level of management. I will not ever stay anywhere else. 10 stars!

It was something I liked about the treatment was efficient and food good.

Staff is very kind, helpful. Room is just perfect especially for those who wake up early and don't want to stay in bed. Living area allows for early risers to get up, watch tv, make coffee and do work if needed. Clean, and worth the price. Thank you.

First night here. Let’s see how it goes. We always stay at embassy suites and all of them are different this one not very friendly
no welcoming no nada.

Horrible hotel, we had a group of 90 stay there and over half got food poisoning; dirty rooms; rude wait staff, nasty public restrooms.

The hotel has great customer service. The room is clean.

Great hotel. Only hotel I know that has happy hour w complementary drinks from 5:30-7:30 for their guests.

Very nice place to stay, the people are very friendly and helpful, I would definitely stay here again.

Love it the drinks at happy hour are refreshing and the food from the restaurant is delicious.

The staff is amazing. Raul and bar staff were especially good. One of the reasons I would continue to come back.

I stay at this hotel every time I come to San Antonio and wouldn’t stay anywhere else — hotel is a pretty standard hotel never have any issues but the reason I come back is the staff — great people and make me feel welcome every time — and always make me want to come back!

We stayed here five years ago and then also this week, and it is still a very good place to stay! Mark makes an excellent omelet that is worth few extra dollars! The pool is good. The bed was comfortable. And the evening reception was nice. The lobby bathroom was super nice and clean. Our room didn't get as cool as we might've liked and some people staying above us were unruly at late hours, but all in all we were pleased.

This location was very professional and inviting. My son and family enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Every staff member said hello or “good morning” etc. Didn’t get to try out the breakfast (we went for a morning dip before check-out) but the smell was awesome. Extremely spacious rooms and loved the amenities. Not too uncomfortably far from HEB or other quick fail-safe food places. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Would definitely take advantage of the happy hour & breakfast next time.

Not the greatest experience for us this summer. We weren't greeted wirh a smile upon arrival although reception staff was polite. The room/suite combo was a good size, however, the bathroom was tiny and old looking. Housekeeping was "absent": I found an old/stale salsa container behind coffeemaker, decided to leave it in sight but when we returned in the evening, it was still there. Bathroom sink had barely been touched with a rag and they forgot to leave towels. Breakfast area the next morning was disgusting, food all over counters and floor, stained coffee mugs, tables dirty, and staff seemed overwhelmed with so many guests. Will Never Stay Here Again!

Remodel is awesome! The brick still remains on the walls outside of each room and that needs a bit of attention. There was tons of space for the manager's reception and breakfast. Breakfast had an interesting set-up but I liked it. The hot items were on the left, cold on the right with the cooked to order kitchen in the middle. Tables were cleaned promptly so other families could use. The black bean dip and Fritos during the manager's reception was wonderful. Staff is always friendly. The only complaint: this is Texas and it gets incredibly hot. After spending all day in the heat, I would love to have a hotel room that was cold. The AC stated 60 but we sweated all night. This seems to be a problem with many hotels.
