I've expected better from a Hilton hotel before and while this one wasn't terrible, it still left much to be desired. Positives: the bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom, while small had adequate marble counter space and what appeared to be an upgraded raised sink with Kohler fixtures. The surroundings, both in room and bathroom were impeccably clean throughout. The hotel provided toiletries were: lint free polishing cloth, shower cap, face and body bar soap, shampoo and conditioner. Plenty of face towels, but only two hand towels and two bath towels. A hair dryer hung on the back of the bathroom door in its own bag. There is also a working iron, ironing board and personal safe located in the closet adjacent to the room entrance. There is also a new microwave and refrigerator in the room. Negatives: only one telephone in the room, a paltry 32" Panasonic LCD television (newer), one trash bin in the room and a small narrow one in the bathroom, yet no recycling containers, no wired internet, as had been advertised and the wireless signal was weak in my far corner room. There was an electrical outlet built into the desk, yet the USB port wasn't functional and upon closer inspection it wasn't operational because it was not plugged into anything (this would also explain why the Ethernet port wasn't working either). The privacy peep hole was cloudy, so I couldn't even verify who was at my door, the door itself had to be pulled shut otherwise it wouldn't fully latch securely, room service is available 24 hours; however, from 11pm to 6am one must walk to the front desk and order from a menu of about 6 items (and presumably one must wait for the order to be prepared as well as I doubt someone would have delivered it). On the subject of in-room dining, the menu begs for an overhaul. And the two orders of breakfast I placed, weren't the most savory. In fact, the French toast meal seemed to be something pulled from a box and reheated from frozen stock. The staff who delivered it however were very friendly. The attention to detail, such as I had experienced at Hilton's Home2 property just days before wasn't prevalent at this Hilton hotel by the airport and it left a lot to be desired. I would rate this a 2 out of 5 stars.
