This was one of the worse hotel stays I've ever experienced! the bed sheets were dirty and had cigarette holes in the blankets. Even the remote control to the TV was caked and a food like substance which they refused to give us another remote stating they didn't have one. The door was not completely sealed which allowed bugs in the room. There was no breakfast served due to "construction" which was not listed on their website. I was charged 3 different times for one room. And I requested a rollaway or a cot and was told I would get a suite with a additional couch bed only to find out there wasn't any such rooms. The only good thing was the hot water and water pressure of the shower. Oh the sink in the restroom had no hot water either! I wouldn't recommend even for the price.

This place is pathetic. We got to our room and got ready to go to bed. Pulled covers back to find hair and what looked like marijuana seeds on the sheets. We also found BED BUGS! When we went to complain and ask for a new room we were told they were full and if we didn’t want to stay we could turn in our keys and deal with the manager the next morning. Went back the next morning to be told we would not get a refund because their room Was clean and we could have just planted bed bugs in their motel. That’s about the most asinine thing I’ve ever heard. I don’t care how desperate you are, stay away from this place. Customer service is rude and you’ll leave with a friend or two.

Booked express deal through Priceline ended up with econo lodge near lackland. Got to room at 1230 am with three children with one playing softball in morning at 7 am. Moved all our stuff into room and pulled back blankets on bed to discover a bed bug started inspected room and found many roaches as well. Door locked hardly worked and door frame had damage to it. While inspecting room further the sheets had hair on them and appeared to be some sort of seeds on them. Pillow cases were stained and had black spots on them. Bathroom light didn’t work and to top it off found a condom wrapper behind bed. Pull out couch was filthy as well and had stains all over it. I went to to front desk to request another room and was told they were full but if I didn’t want to stay to return keys and come back around 10 am to speak to manager about refund. I was not about to allow my family to get infested with bed bugs so we loaded up and drove around trying to find a new place to stay finally around 230 am we found one with vacancy. I come back to speak to manager next day about refund and she told me to contact Priceline since I paid through them. I called and got put on call back due to long wait times. Well I couldn’t stick around waiting for call so I left. I advised Priceline of the situation when they finally called and they told me a manager at hotel would have to authorize refund.

Housekeeper walked into my room with out my permission & got upset when I told her not to do that. I had to tell her to get out of my room because she didn’t want to.

We booked this hotel thinking it was nice and updated from the pictures. Our room is a disaster. We were suppose to get a non-smoking room, which obviously people smoke in here because there is an ash tray and the cigarette smell is horrid. The walls are very patchy, carpet lifting up, and there were flies in the room when we first entered. The only thing updated is the bathroom. Our pillows we got were flat and not comfortable but went to the front desk and she gave up 2 more pillows. My in-laws are staying at the same hotel as us but different rooms. Their first room was so bad they couldn't stay in there. The second room is also not the greatest but better than the 1st room. Pool has a greenish tint to it so we didn't swim. Not a huge selection for breakfast but you can easily fill up. The lady at the desk is very friendly. Wouldn't recommend this hotel. It looks nice from the outside, but the inside is terrible.

For the price we paid, we got a lot! Remodeled rooms. CLEAN, everything great more than expected. Had second thoughts about breakfast but it was perfect (it's complementary. )

Currently sitting in room 225 and its 86°! This after an 17 hour drive I AM BEYOND LIVID! All I get is a bunch of Im sorry I better be getting a refund in the morning! Already booked somewhere else… oh I also got "a lot of guests have been complainging about no air Im sorry"

Giving them a 5 star. Just for the fact that they have been very nice from the get go. Our room is perfect. Very please with it.

Bad choice. Big Cockroaches. Bad property. AVOID! I should have known what the property was when the lobby smelled dirty as soon as I walked in. The only ice machine is broken. I was told, "Repairman was supposed to have come today. " So it's the repairman's fault. The only soda machine was broken. I was told, "Yeah, it got broken into. " So it's the thief who broke into the machine's fault. My room smelled like mold, the carpet was soaking wet several feet around air conditioner — — probably black mold underneath. The Wi-Fi is not working. I could almost connect to the Wi-Fi at the Motel 6 next door, but it's just a little too far. The floor in my room was not level. I used the bubble level on my phone to verify after walking UP and downhill each trip across the room. There were stains (and more) on the walls in my room. The bathroom had some brown streaks on the wall by the commode, probably human excrement. FINAL STRAW: Saw big cockroaches walking on the wall. Big. Cockroaches. There were indications that the property has seen some updates, but it's still a dump. Really bad dump. It's bad that it came to this, but I was asking myself, "Which bothered me more: the cockroaches or the poo on the wall? " This property is poorly maintained and dirty. The word GROSS seems appropriate. No way I would consider staying at this hotel again, and I will remember this dump before I stay at ANY Choice hotel ever.

The room was alright — no bugs, nice TV but everything was pretty worn. The door trim was broken at the dead bolt lock so doubt it would have stopped anyone. My major complaint was after two kids and two adults came back from a hot day at Sea World our towels, washcloths and bath mat were gone and not replaced with clean ones. Hand bars would be nice in the tub. Pillow was nice. AC made a horrible noise when the compressor came on in room 107 at times — woke us up a few times. Office staff very nice and the breakfast was good.

It was average room, reasonable prize and It was really an average breakfast, the worst Wi-Fi ever and I am confident I will never be coming back.

It was amazing!. The staff are so kind! The pool Is good other than the bugs in the pool but it was outside so I don't blame them. I greatly recommend this hotel as it'll be an amazing experience!

I know what you're thinking… ewww an Econo Lodge! Well, that couldn't be further from the truth in this case! We stayed here in May 2018 for 5 nights. Our rooms were VERY CLEAN. I did not see ANY bugs (as other reviews may have mentioned). In fact, I did actually check the mattresses and seams for any evidence and found none. Each room had a frig and microwave. One of our rooms had a hair dryer attached to the wall in the bathroom area, the other did not, but the sign indicated that they would get anything you needed. (I didn't need one, just pointing that out! ). Pool area was sufficient. Not super big but also not super crowed either. The breakfast in the morning — was way more than I expected! They served biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, coffee, juice, muffins and toast. The owners and staff were ALL very nice and very accommodating! We would definitely stay here again. Oh, and did I mention that it is one of the cheapest (if not THE cheapest) place that I found in the area? Take a chance! It was actually pretty good for the price I pay and they do have some type of a breakfast orange juice coffee in the morning.

Not the best experience! We found a cockroach in our room, so I checked for bed bugs. Likely no bed bugs! Our fire alarm battery was going dead so it would beep a lot. The water took forever to warm up and basically only had HOT for a setting. We had our do not disturb sign up everyday and the housekeeper came in twice even with the sign up. Once she didn’t do anything except take dirty towels, didn’t even replace them. Second time all she did was replace towels. We won’t be staying here again!

Well if you like bed bugs, and cockroaches, yes this is the place to be.

The room was alright for the price. Looks a little outdated though. The the inside of the fridge looked bad and the bathroom door was slightly damaged. People outside the building yelling at each. Just not the most comfortable area. Probably wouldn't come again. I'll pay a little more for a better place.

Good rooms and great prices. It's not the best but you get decent rooms for the prize.

Clean. Casual. Small pool but clean. Smoking rooms available luckily. I'm not sure if there's continental breakfast or is there just a microwave and a toaster only inside the hotel lobby for the guest. Lol.

Stayed for a few weeks and every chance they got they tried to rip me and my family off. Made reasons up why they had to over charge us and even double the price. A few different occasions while in the office we witnessed other patrons livid with them for not returning their deposits, or even giving them change back that was owed! Unbelievable! Please bring careful dealing with them, get receipts and deal only in cash. I honestly can't believe they're able to get away with it and haven't been reported or arrested!

Very little attention and where breakfast was served there were cockroaches in the cookie jar.

In thesse play they bring to me one room, but went I go in, the room is no clean, nothing ready, I ask to the cashier for my mony bsck and they bring me rude actitude and necer bring me back my mony. Some day lather I solicited one room againg and they say not have any rooms for me.

No working internet, no room phone working, pool was closed, there were drug deals going down in the parking lot. I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone.

It is an affordable place but this dirty I book for several days and not cleaned while I was there or canviaron towels, or toilet paper… I liked it only because it is close to seaworld but we would not go back to stay there.

Well, I'm not coming back to this place, already q have cockroaches, we had rented 2 rooms and in one we found bed BUGS! (BED BUGS) … this was the first night, we notified the wing office, and to say I was pleasantly surprised, and that we did even maa rare, only noa got another room, I asked for a refund, they told me q is to speak with the manager, ask several times, and nothing, and q didn't know when or aq, rh bow, very bad place, bad maintenance!

This doesn't even deserve 1 star if you enjoy roaches in your bed and frozen into your frig. Plus rude uncooperative management, spiders in the tub and ceilings falling in this is the place for you. Honestly save your money and drive past as fast as possible.

Friendly staff, clean room everything very well.

Clean, tidy property. Quiet and safe, close to food. When I extended my stay, the owners charged me $50 more than my reserved rate and $20 higher than their highest published rate.

Really bad experience, the bed have hair, the comforter had stains, microwave was dirty and burnt. Bathroom toilet seat was broken, front room door was dirty, beds are uncomfortable. Can just about feel the springs. Went to the pool and it was dirty and their we're cockroaches swimming around and dead little bugs… no ice available, overall everything was dirty, they had not vacuumed the room either. A/C worked good… thank God! no smoke detector either! and sister in-laws room kept getting mosquitoes from somethere… it just sucked balls! DO NOT GO THERE! room 122

The service was great the only problem was the door for the restroom was hard to close and open and the items were broken and didn't work other wise it was great.

The rooms are decent but not very clean. The overnight activity is worrisome but they are working on it. Location is close to Lackland AFB but not really close to sea world. I mean, it's not far but not close either. Management is attentive to issues and very friendly.

The worst ever I. My life. The beds are full of bed bugs and the owner wont do anything about it. He will just call you a crazy dum ass. And not raise a finger to ake the problem go away. I had to sleep in my car dau and night for fivr day's. Never was so glad to be out of that dump!

Hotel room was disgusting. Garbage I'm room, dead cockroaches and unidentifiable dirt on the walls, cigarette ashes on the floor. We got a new room and it was just as bad. Do not stay here.

Room has bedbugs and the management is rude won't give us a refund told us that it is our problem and that we have to deal with it I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and there is alot of prostitution on the premises and right in front of the office.

There wasn't any shampoo and conditioner there was no fitted sheets on the king size bed. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Shity place giant spider in room TV not working don't waste your money!

We arrived to find no toilet paper, the toilet wasn't flushed (much less cleaned), both beds had yellow spots & pubic hairs on the sheets, there was no mattress protector to protect from said yellow spots. When we called the front desk: "that's Housekeeping's problem". Flying in town for a funeral was stressful enough, this was beyond disgusting.

I always book with motel 6 but they had no rooms open so decided to try knights inn First and last time staying here. Service is bad. The price is too high for the quality of the room! I totaly recomend motel 6 next door!
