Beautiful place! Extremely well kept! Great place to relax and be a getaway!

Wanted to take the boat ride tour but the amount of people they allowed on was unsafe. No social distancing at all and some people did not even have masks on. Over priced mediocre food. There was alot of homeless people hanging around even got threatened by one homeless man that my husband had to pull out his knife because the man began to shout and follow us down the street in an aggressive manner. After my husband told him to leave us alone he ran off through the mall.

A pleasant and safe place to go for a very long or quick short stroll depending on your desire. Very well maintained and I. The entertainment district their are countless bars and restaurants to choose from. A wonderful experience that I have been wanting to visit for years… glad I finally was able to do so!

The sites and sounds are great! Stop in and enjoy the food and libations!

It's beautiful scenery I don't know if it'll all be decorated for Christmas but it's beautiful when it is and there are some restaurants down there that are good great but I can't remember the names of them.

It's so beautiful, I call this my home away from home, but I would love to live in San Antonio because it's so beautiful and there are so many things to do that's fun for the entire family. I absolutely loved it and want to return as soon as possible. Yes I recommend the Riverwalk of San Antonio.

Very cool place. Family loved it. A lot of walking so wear tennis shoes. Bring water. Good places to eat on the strip (rainforest was our favorite for kids)

The place smelled of cigarettes. There were holes in the wall at the sign in center so that wasnt a good impression. The room reeked of cigarettes so much that I got a headache. The bathroom was small and the toilet was moving like it was a little detached from the floor. The pillows sucked and were flat not comfortable. Terrible place. Dont come here.

While the check-in process is fast and the room is quiet and clean, I was disappointed by the broken shower in my room. (The tap handle came off. ) The staff promptly gave me another room, but the light in the toilet couldn’t turn on. I was too lazy to ask for another room so I showered with the door open. The management should spend some effort to check the conditions of the rooms, especially the washrooms. There is free Wi-Fi but the connection was slow sometimes. There is free breakfast but I missed it due to my early departure to catch an early bus.

Worst place ever! Very nasty and out dated. This place looks nothing like the pictures. Wouldn't recommend to a homeless person. Genuinely that bad. Booked 2 nights, was out of there 6am the next morning and demanded a refund which I got.

Really dirty hotel. It's true that for the price we didn't expect much but, they can't even sweep and wash. Soap and water common areas? The. Lack of cleanliness is unacceptable. The big room. $20 per pet but I didn't see any foresight. Very bad in conclusion.

I can come to this place a million times and each time I enjoy and have fun like it's my very first time. Wonderful family place and environment. I love some San Antonio Riverwalk. If I could go every weekend, I would.

Nasty nasty nasty. Perfect for pimps and drug addicts. Evidence of violence, prostitution, and abuse everywhere. An absolute disgrace. Who the heck gave this 5 stars. We walked in, took some photos, and walked out. Uploaded them. Let’s see if they show them. Cancelled booking immediately. Finding new hotel.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This hotel is horrible. Walls peeling off everywhere. Rooms smell like they haven’t been cleaned in years. We found dead flies in the room. We paid for 5 people expecting to get an extra bed and they said their only extra bed had already been claimed 2 days before we got there. And so to not leave anyone on the disgusting humid smelly carpet we had to fit 3 people in a bed made for 2. Furtinure was old and worn down. Mattresses were old and uncomfortable! WORST HOTEL I’VE EVER STAYED AT! DO NOT STAY HERE! I would rather pay a little more a night than stay here ever again.

I love the River Walk. It is really a nice place to walk around and enjoy the river. It is especially beautiful during Christmas time. I did remove a star due the water not being clean, some places smell like pee, and it can become overcrowded sometimes. If they would fix that and add some free things to do down there I think it would be 5 stars. Even with these issues it is still a great place to visit!

We loved The San Antonio River Walk! We love to walk and we also have a handicapped daughter who uses a stroller who also loves to go for walks. They do have handicap accessible points with either elevators or ramps. We had never been there before and didn't give ourselves enough time. We went in the afternoon when it was hot so I think I would go in the morning and enjoy the walk and then take the taxi boat and enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants along the river. Looking forward to going back some day.

Wow… I see that this place has some recent food reviews… those rooms must have been totally redone Nd noting like the one I had. It smelled like smoke. Holes in the walls. Dingy nasty furniture. Bedding was gross. Mattress looked to have signs of bed bugs. The door had been kicked in and a half ass repair had been done. I decided to not stay there and went next door to the best western which was twice the price.

BEST BEST BEST place to stay in during a night away from the kids or just coming into town for whatever reason… prices are super super reasonable.

The stay was really amazing. Staff at front desk was great and accommodating. Rooms were very comfortable, nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Great location.

Relatively clean. Remodel of bathroom was a nice attempt of an upgrade but obviously rushed and sloppy install. Very accommodating staff. I would stay again specifically for the price.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I can't say I recommend this place. They were accommodating (my reservation was reset to the next day due to my middle of the night arrival) but the room was gross. The mattresses had stains, there were burn holes in one of the comforters, the fan in the bathroom didn't work, the mirror was broken (looked like someone had thrown something at it), and there was what looked like a punch hole in the bathroom door. It also smelled like tons of cleaner had been used to cover up the smells of the room. Ugh. It's a convenient location and it's cheap, but you're better off staying further from downtown if you're looking for a deal.

The location is good if you are looking for a stroll through the center (Downton) of San Antonio, and it has immediate access to the freeway, the service is good, but there is only one person in the lobby who speaks Spanish (only in the mornings) and the rooms are spacious but have a bathroom compe Very small and the beds are a little watery.

I recommend it is a very clean place has a very friendly staff has very affordable prices.

Comfortable, clean and great staff. It is always a pleasure staying at a property that is full of smiling faces that greet you from day to day. Our room was a king room and was very comfortable and clean and had all the basic needs. The breakfast was very good. Great location, was easy access to river walk. Will come back soon. Thank you Travelodge for such a great hospitability.

I scraped the car in the doors and the bathroom did not have a good drainage many cockroaches actually better sleep with the homeless the room stinks of cigars and the deal orible seriously don't spend your money on this crap.

The room was dirty and it stinks of cigars despite being a "no smoking" room. The couch was so filthy that it was disgusting to sit. The linen in the bed was stained and after lying down for a while, we had huge bedbugs in the bed. We left immediately but they did not agree to give us reimbursement. The manager does know perfectly that his motel is disgusting and has bugs and do nothing to fix it.
It's total disgust, don't stay there.

It was my very first time to San Antonio and the River walk. It was so much more amazing than I had ever envisioned! It is enchanting and beautiful everywhere you turn and look! All of the old historic buildings, the history, the River, the flowers and plants! There are a million things to do to choose from! All of the people everywhere are incredibly friendly! The river walk boat ride was so fun! Our boat tour guide was very funny, very informative and awesome! It's a very magical place! I wish I could have stayed much longer! I absolutely love San Antonio!

I loved this place, for the many water falls, the river taxis and bridges that give it a taste of Italy, the restaurants, night clubs, and novelty stores, as well as the walking paths on both sides of the river! This was my 3rd time here (with my favorite couple of friends Craig and Ruby Juarez Martinson), and I will be back again! :)

Very, very good staff, great place to bring your family for a couple of nights without breaking the bank. Excellent NEW MANAGEMENT, friendly wait on you hand and foot of needed, WILL come back and recomend it to anybody who just needs a get away for a few days. My kids LOVE being here and that's more that I can ask for and they have they own room staff looks out after them as well. Great place clean, cold A. C. Just wonderful.

The front desk people were great. Great room! A/C was nice and cold on that muggy and hot day. Great shower pressure too!

It was a great stay everything is under new management rooms are being rebuilt staff is very friendly and helpful and breakfast as lots of different choices. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will book again for another stay, And prices are very manageable.

Don't rent from here. They need to overhaul this place are close it down. I used a place to book this hotel before reading reviews. I won't make this mistake again. The room is full of mold I couldn't breath well at all. Half the lights didn't work and their was one towel for a two bed room. Going into the bathroom run. The toilet was broken had to take the top off to flush it. Didn't take a shower tub was to nasty. Their was even food on the bathroom floor! Really! Stains on the chairs and dead roaches, just nasty. The only thing nice was the covers. The sheets made my son and I itch too. I didn't eat the breakfast if that was what you call it. The owner needs to hire people that will clean. Also they need to remodel this place. It'd a health risk.

Absolutely disgusting. Tub and shower look disgusting, room stinks very bad, roaches all over. Definitely will not come back here. Than claim 24 hours yet I been waiting 2 hours to check out. I'm sliding my card under the door and leaving.

False advertisement. Hated everything about the room, towels stained, door handle broken, shower faucet don't work, ask for a non smoking and it's smells a lot of cigarette, light don't work I rented 2 rooms and both had a lot of things wrong. The other room too it was a total rip off it was nasty, horrible.

I just got and I already want to go… The bathrooms smell horrible, the bathroom door broken, the climate without controls… I would ask me to change room and I respond badly they will do it, but that if you don't like me can do nothing because they are "full". The other room smells like or worse, the door of the bathroom nearly silent is because lacks a hinge, rare and suspicious spots on the seats, there are no towels, and by asking to the cleaning ladies tell me that the washing machine broke and in the Administration do not want to give more or new; I had to go personally to the front desk to ask for them, the pool seems so cloudy water horror film. The chest of drawers I find insects and where it should supposedly be drawers there…

Me and stayed in many hotels and even hostels and none is like this, is not to say that "at the end and at the end it is only sleeping"… What.

Truly a disaster of location! Thought I would get a room out for a night, epic failure of location choice. Upon arrival place smelled of urine, pool was completely empty, and rooms exterior looked condemned. Got keys and didn't work went back got rekeyed and again nothing asked to speak with management and gentlemen said was owner and and said that if he was owner why he couldn't give me keys that worked, and offered different room… Went to the other room and going to it the area smelled of mold and water was pooled up all in walk way, and what appeared to be old furnishings to be just piled up and barely enough room to walk to room. Upon inspection of room tub looked old and stained and room look poorly maintained. Just checking the bed pulling sheet back a little and stains revealed, and this is a clean room? Then upon going to get refund what appeared to be two prostitutes walked into a room, so needless to say I didn't stay here! I'm only writing this review to save anyone from wasting your time or money on this location. Instead I went to Howard Johnson off I10 and cross roads, and this location is what a hotel is supposed to be so please before you choose that location go and visit to physically inspect before spending your hard earned money on this cheap sleazy location. If I hadn't been so disgusted I would have taken photos of everything mentioned to prove what I said, but due to such nasty location I just left and went to Howard Johnson!
