This is a dirty, unsafe place to stay, I am calling their headquarters in the morning.

The front desk staff was very polite when we checked in. After getting into our room we immediately noticed stains all over the carpet and furniture. These stains were black, so it’s not as if something was spilt this is from dirt being carried through the room and not cleaned. After a few hours trying to look past the stains we noticed blood on the walls, blankets of dirt on the curtains and valences. There was so much dirt on the valences you couldn’t make out the color in spots! Stains, or food on the walls, black dirt around the vents, furniture ripped and holes, black stains on the bathroom floor around the cabinet feet. There was noticeable hard water stains or product build up on the shower walls. The sheets looked fairly cleaned, but the bed was lumpy and lint all over them. Even after showing I felt disgusted and gross. The front desk staff offered another room but that was just as bad if not worse! There were burn holes in the carpet and more stains. The pool area was also very dirty. The hot tub water was green, nasty green. The hot tub floor felt like sand as if it was never cleaned or the concrete was deteriorating. The common areas were just as dirty, dust everywhere, missing wallpaper, wallpaper coming off the walls, built up dirt in the corners of the elevator. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. We left after the first night hoping we wouldn’t get bugs.

Big praise to Joseph who took the time to see if they had any rooms for a sold out weekend do to tourn and Tennessee game. We had another room booked at a different hotel but because of the service and dirty rooms we got a refund. We need more employees like Joseph to go above behind despite the situation. Thank you Joseph for excellent service.

Everything was great. The staff was super! The room was clean! The holiday decorations added the perfect touch!

Rooms are clean and front desk person was veryhelpful.

For the price I don’t think it is as good as it should be the hotel needs updating and some repairs.

I drove up from Atlanta, GA for work. I was there for two days. Typically when I travel, I’ll bring my Fire Stick with me. I did that on this trip and forgot to disconnect it from the TV when I left to check out. I got back to Atlanta (about 3 hours later) and noticed that I had forgotten it. I called the hotel and left my card information, so that it could be send to to me. After the desk person went to check the room, she called me back and told me that she and another person did not find anything inside the room. They checked with the house keeper that cleaned my room and she had no idea what they were talking about. So of course me not be okay with the outcome, I asked to be to a manager or higher up. The desk person informed me that she was manager and put me on with the “Assistant General Manager of the Hotel”. She told me that she went to look with the First Lady and didn’t see anything, BUT informed me that she would check personal belongings and cars of the house keepers and also speak to the “Head of House” to try to better resolved the issues since there was a “language barrier” between the desk staff/management and house keeping. After not hearing anything about for about 3 hours I called back just to be told she went home for the day. So not the person who took my belonging, more thank likely took it home and there will be no way of proving it was stolen.

The room I was in was clean. I was there for 3 nights, but one day my room wasn't cleaned, but I had the "do not disturb" sign on my door until 2pm, however, the day before, the sign was on the door until the same time & when I took it off, they cleaned the room. They have a pretty good continental breakfast. They are in a good location as well. They're not far from restaurants & Wal-Mart. I didn't get room service.

If I could leave zero stars I would. We stayed here last night, deciding to stop halfway home from our trip from georgia to Indiana. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was decent. My complaint though is they just charged my credit card 300 for smoking in the room. We got there at 10pm, showered ordered a pizza for delivery, put on the Lego movie for our three year old and went to bed. I went out one time last night to my car to smoke and one time this morning before hitting the road at 930. I know for a fact no partying was going on, no drinking and no smoking. Now I have to spend my first day back from a wonderful vacation figuring this out. I would not recommend any one to stay here unless you want a ridiculous accusation and a charge on your credit card. It was just me my husband and three year old son wanting to just catch a few hours of sleep before hitting the road again.

Stay somewhere else until they clean up! Several of the other reviews have mentioned the dated look of the hotel, and I wish that I had taken them more seriously. As other reviewers have said, the carpet looks very worn and in places it is quite rippled (see pictures below). Also, the carpets in the halls and in the room we stayed in were stained in several locations. It seemed like they did not have the air conditioning on in the hallways while we were there either. Pool area was very bad. There was a large quantity of rust on exposed metal surfaces, including almost every ceiling vent, most of the paint had peeled off of the ceiling supports for the tile and many of the windows were cracked. Pool chairs were very worn and in one case broken. Like one other reviewer stated, there were 3 guys drinking beer on the bench in front of the hotel. They were familiar enough with the process that one came in while we were checking in and gave exact change for a bottle of water to the front desk person. I would stay somewhere else if I was heading back through Knoxville…

We reserved and paid for two rooms prior to coming to the hotel. I called the day we were to arrive to let them know we were going to be late and we were told that that was fine. When we arrived at the hotel we were told that the systems were down and they were trying to figure out rooms. We had requested rooms together because we were traveling with my parents and needed to share things. We were told the best they could do would be to give us rooms on the same floor. At that point we had traveled from Florida and we were exhausted so we agreed to take those rooms. My daughter and I were given keys to a room and we promptly drug our luggage up there (we were told there was only 1-2 luggage carts available and they did not know where they were). When we opened the door using the keys we were given we were surprised to find the room was already taken! The person in the room was very startled as were we! I marched back down to the desk and told them what had happened. We were told the other room we could take was a room with a king size bed and a pull out couch. It was going to be myself, my husband and our 17 year old daughter in the room so we agreed to take it. When we got into the room the sheets on the pull out couch looked like they had not been washed and the sheets on the king size bed looked dirty. My daughter ended up sleeping in the bed with us (we slept on top of the covers with our blankets) because she did not want to sleep on the sheets on the pull out couch!

This place is amazing. Nice rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Very nice staff and they have the best complimentary cookies and breakfast. Beds are so comfortable. I stayed in a suite and loved it. It was amazing!

The hotel needed updating. King bed was nice but the carpet needed updating. Also the pool room needed a big upgrade. Bathrooms had no fans. Overall a pleasant stay with breakfast, but overpriced for what we received.

Stayed 4 nights and our service was amazing. The staff is wonderful. The baby loved the fresh cookies every night.

Room smelled like smoke at night and in the morning, bad enough I had to open a window. It wasn't a smoking room, but I could tell it wasn't coming from outside, not sure if the room next door was smoking or the floor below but really made it quite unpleasant. Breakfast was average, but the lobby was nice. Staff was friendly and courteous. Indoor pool and hot tub are nice and it has the usual hotel amenities.

The experience has been great. The room was very clean. The staff so friendly. The location was minutes to every place we went. I enjoyed the hot tub and the hot breakfast.

Checked in on Sunday evening and ended up staying more than a week. Staff is very pleasant & always willing to go above the norm to satisfy their guests, bedding is EXTRA comfortable, and rooms are very well kept. An abundance of restaurant choices all within 1mile of the location. Quiet surroundings, even with the interstate right by the hotel.

Old! Clean, I guess, but old. We walk in to the tiny lobby and a weird woman is disputing a 1000.00 bill due to smoking and whatever. She is telling us not to stay there, and after 12 hours of driving, it did not give us warm fuzzies. We were lucky enough to end up on the floor she stayed on and you could smell cigarette smoke. I had asked for floor 3. Ok, the room was very old, worn and small. It was so-spleen, but definitely not Radisson standards. Will never stay there again. I have stayed at much better for less. I will say the young man at the desk handled her as well as he could.

It was ok. It was pretty outdated, my room had red stains on the carpet, the windows on the inside of the hotel that were around the pool were cracked and some broken. Breakfast was alright, but it might be better with more hot choices.

Not as clean as expected, but staff quickly took care of us. No hot water first night, but again staff moved us to another room the next day. Thank you!

Really great staff. Clean nice hotel. Pet friendly was great and not great. My dog, who is not a barker, barked at all noises because we were so close to elevator. Overall great place. Would definitely stay again!

Nice hotel, great staff friendly and helpful. Nice for the money. Good location quick to get on highway and get downtown or UT campus quick.

This is the only hotel we will stay in Knoxville, staff is the best I've ever been in. With a child in UTK and a medical handicap whose doctors are in Knoxville, it's great to know we have another "home" when we need it. Thank you you guys are great.

Not only a clean, friendly room, but an amazing staff! The general manager was super helpful and more than happy to assistance with any needs! High recommend to anyone staying in Knoxville!

Great staff, very helpful. We had to leave out before breakfast started so they had a breakfast to go bag ready for us. The rooms were clean with an extra pillow and blanket in the closet. Wonderful experience.

Very nice staff is good loved the pool food was good Wi-Fi was not the best but over all good place to stay will come, back next year.

This hotel has a great location, beautiful hotel, and decent sized rooms. The fitness center has 2 treadmills 1 elliptical 1 fitness machine that has the capability of working out nearly every muscle, and a range from 5-50lbs free weights. All of the equipment is top of the line. The hotel itself is great, but the pool was hprrible. When we walked in our initial impression was that it was great, but once we got a better look at the pool, we realized there was dirt floating throughout the pool, several bobbipins were at the bottom and we also had found a carrot at the bottom. On top of that there was several clumps of hair in the pool. The hot tub is very small and doesn't seem to function properly. Overall the hotel was decent, but the pool was one of the worst I have seen in the 30+ hotels I have seen in my lifetime. The pool is a big deal to my kids and that's why it took this rating down to 3 stars from the 4 and a half this hotel could get.

I don't leave many reviews at all but we stayed in a "4 star" hotel last night and came to this Country Inn & Suites and we enjoyed this hotel SOOO much more. Hughes at the front desk was super welcoming and seriously made us feel welcome and comfortable. (We have 2 small kids) very courteous. We ordered a pizza at 10pm and the place didn't bring any plates or napkins and Hughes helped us find some plates and napkins. (This guy deserves a raise). Onto the building… The whole building was very clean in and out. Great access to parking. Pool and hot tub looked great. Bed and pillows were SUPER comfy, clean, smelt great, and we are excited for the breakfast tomorrow morning. Ohh and they had super tasty complimentary cookies which our girls LOVED. Anytime we come through Knoxville, THIS is where we are staying. Great price for what you get to top it all off.

Good breakfast and very helpful staff. I thought the door opener wasn't working and they addressed the issue quickly. Also, I very easily added a second night to my stay at the last minute.

Lady behind the desk was a little rude, but everything was nice. I was only there for a few minutes however.

Had the pleasure of staying there last weekend. The staff was VERY freindly! Rooms where clean. Loved the sitting area in the lobby. Had a wonderful time at the pool with the grandkids. Breakfast was hot and tasty. Thank you again for your warm hospitality! I will be staying there everytime I'm in Knoxville!

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Free breakfast was great. Suite furniture (chair and couch) weren't very comfortable for sitting in, Wi-Fi was slow, and TV channels were limited and seemed like not hi-def.

The Country Inn is incredible. They have flatscreen TVs in every hotel room, two twin beds, a bathroom, a fridge, and the hotel serves breakfast every morning from 7:00 to 10:00. They're are also accessible restaurants near the Country Inn that one can get to by foot. The hotel also provides snacks and drinks. They have a pool and a fitness center.

This was my first time staying at a Country Inn & Suites hotel and I was pleasantly surprised with not only the hotel itself, but the helpfulness of the staff as well. When booking our hotel, I did not remember to request a room on the first floor to make it easier to get in and out with our two dogs. Upon arrival, the manager, Alex, quickly switched our room to the first floor — no questions asked. Our room was a great, comfortable size for two adults and a medium and a large dog — it was also pristinely cleaned. Even though we were on the first floor, not once were we disturbed by any outside noise. Ever aspect of our stay was comfortable and pleasant. I will be booking with Country Inn & Suites more often!

Very nice staff with tons of amenities. Pet friendly is a big plus, nice clean room with great rates.
