We were in town to visit family for the weekend. Our rooms were clean and cool. The pool was the added attraction. Hotel is right off the interstate. The man that was working the front desk that checked us in (I didn't get his name) was very nice and helpful. We had a great stay. Will stay again when we come back to visit.

Our room was nasty dirty, ants in and on the microwave, the bathtub was disgusting, nasty stuff on the walls, carpets gross, stuff was broken… oh and the hot breakfast was toast, bagels, waffles, cereal (NO MILK) and bananas. Complaining was a joke,

Not clean, we had ants crawling in and out of the microwave, bathtub was disgusting not very good breakfast.

Was told they were pet friendly to find out they werent. Room was $30 more than was told over the phone. It smelled like cat urine in one of our rooms and they clearly don't wash linens regularly because our sheets had what looked like jelly on them.

The place is nice and has been recently renovated. The room cleanliness is the reason for 3 stars. The shower had hair and soap residue, the floors had specks of urine in the bathroom, mirrors had toothpaste on them and the tables and furniture in the room had sticky buildup — housekeeping is clearly not supervised and needs some serious training. Breakfast was bagels and waffles with some fruit. Not a bad place to stay on a budget, but be prepared to clean up for yourself!

In need of am update, but rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Giving 3 stars due to overall experience that had nothing to do with with the hotel but the quality of our stay. We were awakened around midnight by an outside caller frantic about a Mike. 30 minutes later cops bang on our room door and window looking for a Mike. The officers could have approached it differently by checking with the office to find out who was in the room. No need to freak out guests.

The inn was in a nice location just off the highway and easy to access. It had plenty of parking, even for our Uhaul that was towing a trailer with another car! The lobby is modern and well done. The breakdast is okay and on par for most free breakfasts. Rooms were nice and clean, the only thing that I would say was a drawback was that there were clearly people living there and they acted like they owned the place (talking or shouting after 11pm, smoking right in front of other rooms etc. ). All in all not a bad place to sleep for a night.

Bed was comfortable and room was clean. First room lights flickered over bed and bad ballast over desk/counter. Second room lights were out over desk/counter. I did not feel as as secure in hotel because people kept proping outside doors with rocks. Please fix your outside door card readers.

This is hands down the best affordable to hotel for staying in the area. I have stayed here multiple times and my experience has been 5 star. The owner Harry is extremely nice and even offered me a discount for an extended stay. The place is very well managed, has Wi-Fi and the rooms are clean.

Honestly a great hotel to stay in and very inexpensive rooms. The people who work there are super courteous and helpful. The front desk person actually got out of their way to help my find my lost wallet. I was super relieved I didn't have to cancel my credit card and get a new driver's license when I was a 6-hour drive from home (out-of-state). Definitely gonna give them my business again.

We arrived around 3:30 in the morning. We accidentally over slept, but managed to arrive at breakfast 15 min before 10:00 which is the time they quit serving. Cheryl was very nice and helpful she made sure our family was fed and taken care of. She went above and beyond what she had to do and I wanted to make sure she was recognized. Today is also my Birthday so it helped start my day off great!

Interesting place. It was obviously a much higher in hotel originally with really nice furniture good-sized rooms. It's maintenance ha cans declined a little, but everything is very clean and comfortable.

The service was really nice! Breakfast was always fully stocked. Very clean. Showers were great! Slept like a champ!

Very interesting room. We loved figuring out the light switches. Room was nice.

Good for the price. I felt the bed was a bit too small. I weigh 115 lbs. So if you're a bit on the heavy side this could be uncomfortable.

My family stayed here for 4 days and I dealt with a different memember of the staff every member every morning. They where all very lovely and very friendly. If I’m every in the area again I will stay there. The room was clean and the kids had fun in the pool.

My husband and I have stayed here several times over the past 2 years. If you are a hotel snob this is not for you although it is great to stay in if you're just passing through. Staff is always friendly, we have never had an issue with any of our rooms EVER, clean bedding and shower. Perfect for us & the breakfast and coffee are a plus & good to grab on the go in the morning!

Rooms were not that clean, bed sheets were old made out of polyester which is not good for hot weather. Cooler made a lot of noise. However, the receptionist was courteous.

Newly renovated. But not very clean. Floors not swept, shower dirty and no trash can.

The managers were slow and disorganized. Checking in 3 people took 40 minutes. We had a reservation for a king but they had "ran out" of King rooms. It looked like they were using a piece of paper to keep track of which rooms were taken. The bathroom had hair.

Check In was great. Staff at the desk was extremely helpful and polite. Room is great. Clean and well maintained. Very comfortable beds. Fees are affordable. Breakfast included!

Room was comfortable. Breakfast wasn't so much. Sausage was burnt. They ran out of silverware. This place does not have an elevator. Wasn't warned of that when reserving a room. That should be asked when people are booking.

All the staff we encountered during our stay — the check-in and check-out clerks, the breakfast nook attendant — were especially nice and cordial. Room was comfortable and reasonably clean, but might benefit from some updating. There are a few maintenance issues which probably ought to be addressed. The rear entrance door did not open with room key, which required us to walk to the front to re-enter. This was during peak check-out, so we would have expected the door to be accessible at that time. Overall, a good place to stay the night after a long trip.

Reservations have no meaning here. They overbook and the customer is the one that suffers. Take your business elsewhere.

This place is a joke. Terrible customer service. We had a reservation confirmed and showed up late at night after a long drive and were told they filled our rooms. Zero ethics here…

Conveniently located to downtown, all major interstates of Knoxville. Wide variety of fast food & sit down dining very close by. Grocery & other shopping also convenient. Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Interior corridors, wonderful full hot & cold breakfast with great choices. Cozy, clean, and comfortable, all at a reasonable price!

Kudos to Manager Lori! I had a major road issue on the way to the hotel for a 2 night stay. Tire blew out and I had to stop for the night an hour away. Lori helped me offset the wrecker expense by forwarding the first night's deposit to my second night. So grateful! Hotel was clean and smelled so good! I was was assigned a room on the second floor, but there was no elevator. Required a couple of trips up the stairs to carry CLAP device, suitcase and toiletry bag. Comfy bed, Delish breakfast! The elevator will be a deal breaker when hubby comes with me as he cannot do stairs.

This place definitely deserves more than 3.5 stars. It was very clean, beds were comfy and the rooms smelt fresh. This was a better stay than planned. On top of that we got a room the night of needed a place to stay. Highly recommended!

I'm sure it was a nice place at one time and it looks good, but 2 rooms were booked for New Years eve. Check-in at 1:30 pm on Dec 30, 2017. The 1st room was ok, or so we thought and the second room the toilet didn't work properly had to be fixed, blood stains were found on bedspread and light bulb was out in bathroom. Check out Jan 1, 2018. After guest got home they discovered bedbug bites which one guest thought was a rash from stress. One guest went to the ER and it was confirmed it was bedbug bites. Neither guess had this problem til staying in this room. I hope they didn't transport any home since they were out of town. I'm just letting everyone know so you can be aware.

I never stayed here, I would not recommend anyone stay here until this place is inspected by some sort of professional cleaners. I pass this business several times a day. Everyone in this community knows about the drug-related abuse and epidemic going on in this city and this hotel and others in the area. It is public records, about how many drug-related crimes and bust that have been made in this motel. It's public record downtown Knoxville not just for this hotel but the others throughout Knoxville. I will be happy to edit this review once (us) the community See's the difference. Please screen your occupants using common sense. Nobody stays at a nightly paid room for over a month or so and is expected to be doing good things. Obviously the other businesses around see these people as well. Like I said. This is public record. We stayed here 3 nights and would definitely stay again. New owners are service oriented and extremely friendly. They are in the process of updating this property, but it was very clean and we had everything we needed. If you’re on a budget, this should be your go to motel while in Knoxville!

Edit: The manager comped our room at checkout and apologized for the inconvenience. Tonight, 4 days later, they charged me again. I will be calling Choice Hotels about this in the morning as well as my bank. I have the receipt showing where she comped it. Never do business here. They will steal your money. My girlfriend's parents stayed here. Room was nice, but several of the light fixtures could use maintenance. They also had trouble with getting the Wi-Fi working. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very friendly owners that were very accommodating, we got there hours before check in and the said no problem give us a little and we will call you when ready. Sure enough they called to let us know. They had a nice hot breakfast every morning, our room was cleaned everyday! This is a gem hidden we loved it here! I truly enjoyed talking to them aswell super nice couple. Give them a try the rates are awesome and the rooms are super clean and nice.

For the price it was great. The box TV worked and we watched Superman even though the color was off a bit. The non smoking room didn't smell like smoke like others said they experienced. No drama and the waffle house across the street was great. The hotel breakfast was not all that but did have a waffle maker.

Not a bad deal all around. We were just travel though and wanted a reasonable hotel and we got just that. After staying at another motel the next night this is a really nice place comparatively. Clean and comfortable. The tv's need updating, but not as important. The breakfast was slim, could have been better with a couple more offerings.

The night clerk, Shea, was outstanding. But the room… half the outlets, hairdryer, TV didn't work. Housekeeping didn't restock the personal products or cups when they cleaned the 2nd day.

Nice place to stay for the price. Pool and hot tub was great for the whole family. However, none of their ice machines worked.

It was clean & quiet. Front desk staff was nice & helpful. Bed was ok but be sure & bring your own pillows because theirs wasn't hitting on much. We were passing through town but for the price, we would stay here again.

The room was pretty but the a. C. Didn't work right. I had to turn it down to 52 degrees to get it to cut on. I do think they charge too much for the pet fee.

You get what you pay for. Door lock didn't work, and we had to wait for maintenance to fix it, which took about an hour because everything the poor guy tried didn't work. I can't blame him, he was working with what he had. The room was surface clean, but in bad need of repair. The whole building was badly in need of repair. Bed was clean and comfortable. Water pressure was lacking, but it got really hot which was nice. Breakfast was pretty good, with a nice small variety of foods. I loved the make-your-own waffle station. Toaster barely warmed the bagels.

Clean, quiet. Bed was amazing, staff at check in was friendly and professional. Good breakfast, the girl doing that was pleasant and courteous. If ever in the area again, this will be our stop!

Best rooms in Knoxville! The front desk clerk, D, is the nicest member of any hotel team I have met yet. Superb service and accommodation. Came in late in the night/early af and D got me headed towards me room in less than 5 minutes. Haven't checked the pool yet, but the breakfast has pour your own waffles and biscuits n gravy. Plenty of other hot and cold options as well. Bedbug free and incredibly affordable. Well done, I will definitely be returning. Please see that D gets a raise; he deserves every penny!

Stayed over night here. The rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Rate is better if you book on line. Would stay again. Front desk was very acomadateing.

The King Bed Room had everything I needed for my stay, including enough plugs for the electronics, and the microwave and refrigerator too. Room layout was good for me and so were all the amenities. Bathroom is unusual but functional design. The shower had a mat which had a musty smell & the shower head leaked terribly during use. Also toilet bowl wasn't immaculately cleaned on the front near the floor. The fixtures were nice, and the lighting adequate for my needs. An outdoor pool area looked nice but I enjoyed the AC-cooled room. I returned the next evening for another stay, with another room and there was no bathroom issues at all. During this stay the front desk staff was excellent! There are two reserved parking spots for Choice Hotels Elite Members, so that may also be an attraction to this property. All doors were monitored on camera, and also required room key to get in, and also a release button to leave the property. The building seemed very secure. Overall, I expect to stay here again.

I wasn't expecting much since my room was only $80, but almost every aspect of my stay was just as good as $150 stays I have had at other hotels! My room was a bit small, but it was very nice and clean and had all the amenities I would find in, for instance, a Comfort Inn. Breakfast included a variety of options both hot and cold. Staff was helpful and friendly. The only thing that might have offended some was that the hallway smelled like weed when I first arrived. Scent was gone by the morning. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are passing through Knoxville. There's no reason to stay somewhere more expensive!

Restrooms need tons of Clorox to remove mold from walls, shower head, corners and sink. Bed and sheets were very clean. Mattress very comfortable. Floor was clean as well. Staff very friendly (5 points). Breakfast need real orange, homemade gravy, eggs, bacon and sausage. Please remove those meditation hinduism books.

It's very reasonably priced, a nice place to stop off and get some sleep on a long trip, and it's close to a waffle house so you can get breakfast in the morning. Its clean and the staff is friendly and courteous. Also, best part. No bed bugs! —

Great stay! I stayed one night. Beds are very comfortable, staff is friendly, I even left my jacket with 250 bucks in it, in the closet when I left, and they had it waiting for me when I got back. Gotta love honesty.

Front desk attendant incredibly sweet and thoughtful. Wished us safe travels. Hotel seemed a bit dated but not uncomfortably so. Shower drain needed to be cleared but not a serious issue. We just needed a place to lay our heads for the night and this place fit the bill. Reasonably priced as well.

We used this as a half way stop to a vacation. The room was very small but very clean. My biggest complaint was no bathtub only a shower. Being 6'5" the shower was short but plenty hot water. We will stay with them again. Was safe and quiet. Small breakfast bar but well stocked. If you want more plenty places to eat all around.

Older but clean and reasonably priced, actually took the coupon we had from welcome center, very friendly service and good free breakfast! Walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

I stayed in room 103 on 1/1/2017. It was filthy. The shower control was broken. The toilet overflowed and the janitor looked drunk and couldnt clear it until he changed plungers. He then tried to clean floor and toilet with spray bottle which did not clean it. I complained at checkout with noresponse from clerk. I told her I would post online. She said " do what yoy gotta do". No sorry or we will fix that or anything. The phone in room was appalling. I will try to post pictures I took. Not good with this technology. Dont stay here. It is the dirtiest place I have ever stayed and they do not care.

WARNING! BED BUGS, BED BUGS, BED BUGS… This hotel does not deserve any stars. Don't let the remodeling fool you. The rooms might have newer furniture but they were poorly thrown together and worst of all they have BED BUGS. My husband and I live in hotels all across the United States because of our job, believe me when I tell you this I was immediately attacked by bed bugs. The Manager did nothing but refund my room. He didn't apologize, he didn't offer another room, not that I would have stayed there another second. He did nothing really. You have been warned.

Do not use this motel! Room was disgusting! Manager showed us another room which smelled better, but was equally as disgusting! Management refused a refund. Traveling with a young child this was unacceptable so we could not stay there. Found a Best Western down the road which was 14.00 more and WAY BETTER QUALITY! Save your time and money! Should have read reviews beforehand!

There is no coffee machine in room. Breakfast is choice of 2 cereals oj toast or begael waffle or pancake… fridge in room needs help. Phone didnt work in my room. Air condition didn't really work well,. I asked for extra pillow and they had none… they are working on a remodeling. We (me and my son). Had reservation for 10 days through price line (will never do AGAIN) we couldn't cancel when car broke down… when are 10 days is up we will pay the extra $5.00 and go to another hotel… we are here looking to buy a house. The front desk ppl where great. Over all not impressed.

I stayed at the hotel last night and actually I had brand new sheets on my bed brand new mattress set everything was perfectly clean yeah they didn't have a little bit older TVs in the rooms but everything was perfectly clean I mean I wouldn't give them a negative feedback at all the room smelled great everything was perfectly clean nothing wrong with the wrong brand new carpet brand new curtains everything was spotless.

Staff explained that the new management decided that the gym and indoor pool were "too expensive" so they got rid of them. So I did not appreciate being tricked into thinking these amenities would be available as I work out daily and would not have picked this place having known this. They are renovating so the halls are full of furniture and looks trashy. Called ahead and was told the outdoor pool would be available… surprise another lie. I got yelled at for walking into the lobby because they just tiled but did not post any signage warning you. Staff was rude, they had no idea what I meant when I said I made a reservation through the Booking app and charged me wrong. Oh and be warned that the maid will come and UNPLUG THE FRIDGE so when you get back your food will be spoiled. Thanks! The bed had multiple cigarette burns in it and was not comfortabel at all. I had to place three pillows on top of eachother to even get a little neck support. This place is a joke. Overall, you are better off across the street at motel 6 than this place.

The 4 stars are for the value for what you get vs quality. I read all the bad reviews and when I got here my room was brand new (carpet, toilet, etc) … Minus the renovation noise which isn't overwhelming, surprisingly a pleasant hotel. Not a bad area as you can see all the other high end hotels from the 2nd floor which are considered "safe" they are all on the same street… I do think it is too close to i40 because you can hear the semis faintly but constantly. TV, microwave, fridge are a little dated but clean and work fine.

My car got stole there and cameras are not up to code and u can't see nothing on them. Found cock roaches in the room. So a cheap room costed me a day of running around trying to find my car and costed me $175.00 tow bill. So I warned u and beware. That is how I spend my Valentine's day. I wouldn't even give it a one star.

Absolutely nastiest room ever. They agreed to give my money back (minus $10, she thought I wouldn't notice because they never gave me a receipt showing full amount paid), but the man became condescending as I explained what was wrong with the room, telling me my standards were too high. Cookies, trash, and bottle cap on the floor (looked like corners had NEVER seen a vacuum), crumbs in chair, hair on bed, stains on everything from sheets to coverlet to bed skirt to shower curtain. Not sure what was on the bathroom sink, it was sticky and came off on my fingers and the tub looked like it had never been scrubbed, and toilet seat had urine on it. Run, just run.

This hotel is very dirty, dirty hallways, dirty rooms. Pubic/body hair in the sheets and they also have bed bugs and refuse to actually call exterminators. They just have a maintenance guy "take care" of it and say all hotels have bed bugs. I also suspect they are faking their TripAdvisor reviews. I notice how most of the good reviews come from fake looking accounts that are either local people or have just a few reviews. Then the positive reviews mention renovations done that in reality have never been done. Very shady, nasty hotel, stay away!

We liked the room itself besides the fact there is a mini fridge that we couldn't plug in. Also I've been around long enough to know what marijuana smells like and as you walk through the hall that's all we could smell. The back parking wasn't lit very well either. The hotel seems clean but I don't think I'd stay here again.

From the day I came here I have been over billed. I was even charged for a day I wasn't here. I have a debit card and depend on the money I have to live, not to be over billed over and over again. No solutions from management, even after the hotel manager told me I was ok for a couple days until I was able to transfer funds to another account, guess she was too busy to notify me while I was out at work that she recanted her word and they still want me to pay, according to the next shift, smh. Word to the wise if stay here keep close track of your account.

First room looked clean except for a handful of hairs on the sheets. I can accept one stray hair that strayed while housekeeping was doing housekeeping, but not in this situation. It was clear. The renovation consisted of new paint. Carpet was old and peeling, several fluorescent bulbs were not working the mini-fridge continually made a clicking noise. Anything beyond the unclean sheets wouldn't be worth mentioning, but that's an automatic failure in my eyes. I asked the night clerk to relay the information to management in the morning. I specifically went to the front desk to check out and no one seemed to know there was any issue. I always stay in Choice Hotels. 50+ nights this year — first and only hotel to have dirty sheets.

The room was very good sized, but the sofa had a bad musty smell, and I wouldn't let anyone sit on it. The night staff was very nice, but not quite all the way trained yet. Still it was a fantastic value ;)

The good: staff was kind enough to refund our money 20 minutes after check in. The bad: room stank like pinesol, stains all over floor, ripped mattress, dirty shower, really bad fuzzy tv, broken furniture. It was just plain gross in our experience. Would definitely recommend finding other accommodations!

Although the reviews seem to be good for Sleep Inn, my boyfriend and I hated our experience with Sleep Inn in North Knoxville. There was pubic hair still in the bathroom floor and shower. Both the shower and bathroom sink did not drain very well. I actually went to Dollar Tree to buy flip flops to wear in the shower because it was so gross. The sheets made us very itchy. Overall, we were very disappointed in our stay and never will return to a Sleep Inn.

All as it should be for the money except one of the stairways, which was a bit wiffy. Breakfast definitely worthy of consideration.

BEST SLEEP INN EVER! We were moving our daughter from Indiana to Florida and wanted a place that was pet friendly. We came across Sleep Inn in Knoxville and decided to give a try. It was an excellent experience. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Best of all, they only charge an extra $10.00 for pets. Would highly recommend them.

After a long trip the check-in process was fast and the front desk rep was extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was amazingly clean and more than comfortable. The hotel was quite with a perfect location surrounded by nice restaurants and any amenity I could've asked for. For a great, price, awesome customer service, modern updates and ideal location I RECOMMEND SLEEP INN.

I travel to Knoxville frequently. As always, the staff is great, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is wonderful. The rooms are always clean and comfortable.

It was one of the worst experience I had in my life. POORLY managed hotel. 1. ) No Towels in the bathroom 2. ) Non working AC (Front cover of AC was out off the device) 3. ) Comforter was misplaced on the Bed. 4. ) Bathroom was not cleaned. 5. ) Carpet was wet at couple of places. 6. ) No Internet in the room. I would recommend — NEVER EVER stay in this Hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We stopped here for the night, on our way back to Alabama. Carol at the front desk was very kind and helpful. She even called to make sure we got into our room okay, which was nice and unexpected. We took her recommendation for dinner (Puleo's Grill), and we really enjoyed that as well. The only bad part of our experience may have been a little out of their control. The people above us we quite loud late at night (banging around). But, that problem resolved relatively quickly. The beds were comfortable, and we got the rest we needed to get home.

The beds were comfortable, the rates were good. Everything was very clean and in working order. Also, as we were forced to stay somewhere when our car broke down on the way home from a vacation, the staff was amazing at helping us, and even offered to lower the rate for us if we had to stay any longer. Great experience and would highly recommend.

Its a nice location if your traveling to and from KY. Also lots of places to eat and drink near by. The rooms are nice and clean. The hallways have seen better days. The staff was nice. So if your looking for something reasonable, good location and clean this is it.
