I came to this hotel in person 2 months ago to make reservations for an important family gathering. I received confirmation 2 days prior to check in, but when I arrived that afternoon, they informed me they gave my room to someone else and would not honor the resservation. They moved me to a smaller room at a discounted rate, but it is not what I reserved. What good does it do to make a reservation if they will not honor it? Non smoking rooms stink with cigarette smoke. I will not be back.

Non-smoking room smelled like smoke. One room that had been reserved a couple months in advance had been given away to someone else (seriously, who does that? ). Seemed clean enough otherwise but we won't be staying here again.

Well kept. Housekeeping was very clean. Overall great stay.

Realy bad Hotel. Friendly staff but unfortunately less then helpfull. When we walked in, the smell of the room was realy bad. The staff came imediately and sprayed the room which made it unfortunately only worse. They said there is no other room available. After a closer inspection the smell was not the only Problem. Mold on the Ceiling of the Bathroom, ripped up Chair, Hair in the Sink were only a few of the problems. See images. Glad we only stayed one night and if it would have been earlier we would have changed Hotels imediately. We will ask for a reduction in price.

Only had to stay 1 night. My room was not the best. There was a desk chair that was peeling really bad and the room had such a strong order of marijuana. I went to the front desk to inform them. He came down and of course didn't smell anything! I asked for some kind of compensation. 10% off the room! If I could have checked out I would have. Everywhere was SOLD OUT.

Good room. We could cook meals in our room. The toaster oven from the front desk was effective. Each room is a little light on dishes. Clean. Mostly helpful staff. Free use available for laundry facilities. We could not hear the airport from inside. Big patio area with a huge grill. One night stay passing through for Florida. Very satisfied with our experience during our stay.

Waited for 10 minutes just to find out the guy before us had taken the last room. The lobby was very welcoming though and they had some interesting community features.

I had a really nice stay, however, for the price I feel like there should have been more amenities.

Great staff, clean rooms and great value. Our room had a full-size refrigerator, a two burner stove top, cookware, utensils, dishwasher. Basically everything one would desire in a suite.

We got a room for my grandmother for two nights, and her room was quite nice and clean. She enjoyed being there and felt comfortable. Bonus points cause the room even had a recliner, which she loved.

A nice and clean hotel but kind of outdated. The staff was very friendly and polite. Nothing really bad to say about the place. It is not a Holiday Inn Express but it's also not a Motel 6. I was here on business for only one night, so I am not really sure that my opinion will match the one of somebody that stay here longer.

Checked in about 4:30 and called for maintenance about 5:30. The AC sounds like someone poured a can of marbles in it. Called twice now, no one has showed up and the hotel just isn't that full.

The staff is greate the rooms are greate. Definatley I good place to relax.

Really wish I could give negative stars. The fact that this place bumped me from my room to a smaller room, then charged way Way too many nights instead of just the second night and are not trying to fix it is Terrible. Don't worry I'll be at my bank today to push fraud charges if this isn't sorted out before the end of business. I'll post an update on if/how this gets resolved once its fixed. An all of that is ontop of the day shift front desk guy making leuid comments about/towards the woman that was with me.

Nice staff. Rooms are nice and clean. Just wonderful place to be next to home.

Enjoyed staying here. Friendly people and quiet atmosphere. Also enjoy the airport nearby love watching the planes takeoff and land.

Nice room, but the AC did not keep the humidity down in the room. Refrigerator was noisy.

Check in staff was not friendly. Did not car catch his name though. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful.

Smells really bad, like sleeping in a kennel or that draft of musty pet dander you sometimes get at a vets office. Needed a place to sleep on a road trip and just winged it. Appreciate them having a bed in the room, but I wouldn't come back given the second chance. The reception staff was friendly. No complaints there. It is what you would expect in the price range though.

Dump. Looks great online and great reviews. Not sure how. There appeared to be feces smeared on wall. Mold in bathtub. Dog poop recepticle in hallway. Disgusting smells. Appears people are living there as well. Upholstery ripped off furniture. If you want nice and clean go to the Marriott down the street. When I saw the room I sat down long enough to book another place and cancel the whole reservation. Dump.

We were pleasantly surprised! We were driving back to Ohio from Florida and needed a place to recoup before finishing the second leg. When I narrowed the Google Maps hotel search results down to 4-star and above review ratings and less than $75, there were only 4 options in Knoxville. Candlewood Suites was one of those 4 and seemed to have the most favorable reviews. We decided to give it a try, having never stayed at one before. The room far-surpassed our expectations: clean, neat, comfortable, and well-appointed. Little details like free popcorn in the microwave and all the kitchen/dining implements to take full advantage of the stove top and large fridge were unexpected and appreciated. Two of the chairs had minor rips and tears but that was inconsequential. Our only complaint was that we thought we read on Google Maps that they offered continental breakfast but when we asked about it in the morning, we were told they didn't have that. Overall, a refreshing hotel stay experience!

Great amenities for the price — recliner, desk, full size fridge, even a dishwasher. You can make the AC fan run all night, for those of you who need white noise when sleeping. Good shower pressure. Restaurants within walking distance is nice. My only complaint is the beds. I had to turn my mattess because the springs hurt my back. Bring your own pillow if you can.

Oh my dear lord, one of the worst hotel experiences ever. Paper thin walls, no white noise. My sister and I were here, I think we slept 30 minutes. That is all I remember. It sounded like a marching bad upstairs.

Great place, very friendly staff. My only complaint is a stink bug infestation but that seems to be a problem state wide, or regional. Still a awesome place. Lots of places to eat nearby. And of course, the smoky mountains are very close. Lots of antique shopping too.

Amazingly quiet and convenient Hotel! When you need a location near the airport and close to the Maryville/Alcoa area, this is the place. Large comfortable rooms to spread out; including a kitchen and grills out back. Just ask the front desk for the grill tools.
