It was good I guess I mean I can't say much.

Guy at desk was nice. But God damn I was over charged for a room with a broken window and a door that only stayed close by a deadbolt lock. 59.00 was bull. Wont be going back even slept in the chair bed was nasty.

The lobby is nice, that is where the good stops. The hallway and elevator are hot and smelly. My first room was awful. My 15 y/o would not sit on the bed or furniture. The chair in the room stinks. Just deplorable. I went to the vacant front desk, she went on an airport shuttle run. Anyway after a half hour I got a different room. Smelled better so we went out to eat. When we got back to settle in for the night we noticed the hair on the pillows, stains on the bedspread and tape on the smoke detector. I got hold of Holiday Inn Express and checked in there. Happy now! The one picture shows some nasty room you walk by to get to your room.

This country inn & suites is a nice clean quite place. They have a decent breakfast here. A nice clean pool. There are at least 10 places to eat within walking distance. Shuttle to and from the airport. The Knoxville airport is less than one mile away. The thing I like about this inn. It is not pet friendly. Like the La QUINTA is like staying at a dog pound!

The hotel was really nice. The bed was comfortable. My wife forgot her pillow so we called and they saved it for us. The breakfast was good.

The only reason it's not 5 starts is due to the heat in the hallways and elevator. Tracy checked us in and was a ball of fun. Very bubbly, friendly, and helpful. The room was very large and the bed comfortable. I will say another downfall was the light in the bathroom. It kinda reminded me of a scary movie light by the way it sounded. Other than those two minor things… this place is a hidden jewel.

Stayed there this past weekend, the bathroom stunk of cigarette smoke, burn holes in the comforter, the floor looked like it had not been clean in a while, my sons feet were filthy after walking around. There were no extra blankets or pillows in the room, like in most hotels, but when you are on a budget, I guess you get what you pay for.

The location is close to the airport. The rooms are old and dingy. Bathrooms aren't in the best shape. The service was good. No problem checking in. Just a photo I'd and $65 cash got me a room. The guy up front was cool. Seems like a lot of locals and long term tenants.

We got a non smoking room with two beds. In the bathroom the tub had 4 or 5 burn marks and a hole the size of a dinner plate in the wall. The sheets on both beds had burn holes in them and the table had a burn mark. I also found a hot wheels car under the table. And we had to get the manager to our room to fix the TV. To top it all off you have to pay for the ice machine. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

The pool/hot tub here is TERRIBLE. The chemicals are so bad that it made our throat hurt/eyes water/ nose run. It’s a nice hotel to just sleep at, but we are actually staying here. So if you see this hotel and think “It has a pool, let’s go! ”, just erase that thought from your head. It’s unusable. On the plus side, breakfast was nice. Wi-Fi was fast. Beds were comfy.

This was the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in as far as cleanliness, the whole place had a really bad odor. The rooms were dank and dirty, bathtub so dirty. The pool was green the hot tub had a fume bubbling (not steam) from it. The whole pool room was hot and suffocating, no ventilation. It literally made me sick. I left with irritated sinus and sore throat. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to the best of their abilities and the only thing I have to say positive about the place. I will not choose this place again. The 1 star I gave is souly for the staff, whom actually deserve 5☆ but I can't give that for this hotel.

This hotel is best for 1 night stay only (quick, last minute reservation). The staff was nice but this is definitely not your 5 star hotel. The hotel had a small stinch (smell) that was of mildew and the hotel air was very stuffy. Rooms are not updated and need renovations. The breakfast was good but only had sausage as meat choice with biscuits and gravy, waffle, cold boil eggs, juice bar, coffee and tea. Overall the stay was good considering we booked at the last minute, but I would not be back unless I have to do another unexpected stay with little cash.

The price for weekly rates are high $281.16. Rooms are clean no bugs! Jay one of the Auditors are very very nice goes out of his way to help each and every one of his guests! That's unusual anymore!

Staff was very helpful and kind. Room was nice. The only thing I didn't like was they didn't have a selection of pillows. All they had was feather pillows. I needed a feather free room. Luckily I brought my pillow, but my boyfriend had to sleep on their pillows so I was sneezing most of the night.

The room I was in looked fairly run down. There were holes in some of the walls from where things had previously been mounted. The furniture was all in fairly poor condition as well with lots of scratches. The hotel was evacuated one of the nights around midnight for a gas leak and after the all clear was given and were allowed back in, the fire alarm continued to go off in 5-10 second bursts every few minutes until about 1:30am.

My father-in-law had passed away and we needed lodging in Alcoa to be there for the funeral and memorial service. We don't have a ton of money to spend, so I was trying to strike a balance between economy and comfort. I also needed a room with some handicap accommodations, as I have a genetic connective tissue disorder and can't always rely on my joints to be stable enough in the bathroom, when using the toilet or bathing. Handrails for stability are a must. So, I booked a handicap accessible room with "roll in shower" on the website (I was not offered any other online choice for differently-abled accommodation), which also claimed the room had "a view". Upon our arrival at the hotel after a 8 hr drive, I was left waiting at an empty reception desk for several minutes, while I could hear people speaking in the back. I finally moved my aching body to the end of the desk, to see if I could catch someone's attention — which I did. When going through the check-in procedure, the desk manager looked me up and down, and rudely asked if I was sure I "needed" a handicap accessible room with roll-in shower. Even though I was offended at the assumption of ability just because I was barely standing, I let it slide and assured him I did, indeed require that accommodation. We got our key, parked the car, and went up to the room. It was a bit run-down looking, but okay… hotels get a lot of use, so we resolved to reserve judgment. Until we turned on the t. V.

Room was not very clean or up to date, but employees were helpful and nice. Indoor pool was nice but needed to be cleaned or vacuumed I think. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety. Convenient location to Alcoa and Maryville, also Knoxville.

Rooms weren't good enough for 110 a night, work out rooms had 2 machines in it, horible tv's, cable kept going out, and elevater went out first night we were there and No one ever showed up to work on it when you called the front desk they acted like they couldn't wait to get off of the phone. I will say breakfast was good, motel and rooms were clean, and well stocked, and the pool and hot tubs were clean and very nice.

The rooms aren’t that nice but they aren’t garbage either. The staff is friendly enough but management is rude. I requested a non smoking room and was put I a room right next to the check I desk and accused of smoking. I paid $100 for something I didn’t do. They had no proof and never said anything g during my stay. They charged me the $100 dollar fee 3 days AFTER I checked out. I wouldn’t ever do business with them again. There are nice hotels for the price they are charging.

Would not recommend staying there. The room we stayed in had roaches. Showers do not stay hot long enough for more than one person to take a shower. The staff was friendly though so I guess that’s a plus.

Outdated and the rugs are gross! The rooms are great in size but they seemed to have some plumbing problems since my uncle who was the room next to me could smell mold/mildew and after using the toilet once it broke so it was safe to assume the toilet had overflowed many times and the mildew smell was from the rug getting wet and not properly cleaned! The vanity was new and nice but other than than this place needs to be remodeled!

Reasonable accommodation. Clean and nice rooms. Friendly staff. A pool with hot tub.

Can hear guest above us. Thermostat is either hot or freezing. Convenient to airport, Knoxville and Maryville. Very nice staff.

After staying at the Country Inns and Suites in Seffner, FL I did compare this one. And by no means did it add up to the one in Florida. This one is very outdated. Even the locks on the doors were very tricky and hard to get open. I called and booked the room about 10pm and requested a shuttle from the Tyson McGhee airport in Knoxville and though they arrived in a very timely manner, the driver did not utter one word the entire drive back to the hotel. It made things very uncomfortable and I felt unsure whether this was a friendly trip or if he was just very annoyed to have had to pick me up. The breakfast was fair. Same as every country inns and suites. Waffle maker. Cereal. Yogurt with granola and frozen/fresh raspberries. Oatmeal. Danishes and bagels. Scrambled (microwaved) eggs and red potatoes. The ones you eat at dinner time. Lol but it worked. I would stay here again. As it was quiet and very clean.

Would stay here again. Clean room. Friendly staff. Only two complaints. First, parking was crazy. There wasn't enough of it so people were parking anywhere and everywhere. Second, the chlorine level in the pool was painfully high. My husband and children only swam for about 10 minutes and had to stop because their eyes were burning. I could smell the chlorine on them when they got back to the hotel room. My son's eyes were still red the next morning. My husband seconded the fact that it was painful. Also, there was another layer of disappointment because my son was especially excited about the pool. He loves to stay in a hotel (he's 6 y. O. ) and was thrilled about the indoor pool (since we could swim no matter the weather). So it was especially disappointing that the pool was unusable because he was really looking forward to it. Other than the crazy parking situation and the high chlorine, we had a great stay.

There was a roach in my bed then I called and complain to the front desk the guy was rude told me and my he would give us another room and not give us our money back and basically called me a liar when I told him that there was a roach.

Our family live in Key West, Fl. Yesterday we were mandatory evacuated with a cat 5 hurricane coming at us. We left out home at 8 p. M… With all the evacuations traffic was horrifying… Not to mention that all hotels in north Florida, & Georgia we're booked. My husband, and I had no idea what we were going to do, we were traveling with both our children, and our dog… when we called Country Inn & Suites, we explained our situation, and with no questions asked they told us not to worry about a thing, and just come on in. They took care of us. It took us 32 hrs to arrive… we were exhausted, the staff was amazing, very friendly, and very quick to get us in our room so that we can get very much needed rest. Now we sit here and we pray and hope when we return home, that we will have a home to go to… thank you Contry Inn for making a hard situation, a little easier.

Nice place to stay overall. Rooms could use some maintenance, but overall hotel is nice. I've been at worse with this chain and much better… in my opinion. I've been here before and I will come back again.

Stayed at this hotel last night and it was the most horrible place I have ever been and that's being nice. The room smelled musty, the carpet was wet in front of the refrigerator. I also got to listen to the constant drip of the bathtub faucet. And as far as having a nice hot shower… all I can say is the water was hot but I have more water pressure in my garden hose. Would never go back there or recommend to anyone. Very displeased. Desk clerk last night offered to change our room but we were already unpacked and the morning desk clerk just said sorry about your bad experience. It's a disgrace that my son spent his last night in the states in such a place before going overseas in the military.

We got in really late and Nate, at the desk, came right over to the airport and got us and was super helpful during check in. This is a no frills hotel so we weren't expecting too much. The blanket in one of the beds had a cigarette burn, but other than that the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was decent and they were quick to get us back over to the airport when we asked.

The staff were excellent! Every one of them were amazing! We were very disappointed in our room when we got there but the staff did everything they could to improve it and more. Because of the staff members we will be going back. The hotel itself is nice but needs work. The breakfast was awesome! The pool was nice but the hot tub needs cleaned badly.

For the continental breakfast they served toast and the rooms have roaches and you can smell pot outside.

The place was a wreck. I was visiting someone that had a room and none of the lamps worked. There were a lot of bugs! Needs improvement.

Room is dated. Wall receptacles are falling apart. No where to plug phone into on the nightstand. Covers had a cigarette burn. No HD on HDTVs. Desk chair falling apart. No body soap, bar or liquid. Great Wi-Fi. Free cookies. Would not stay here again.

The front desk was nice and helpful. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Neighborhood was nice. Air show was in town. Was amazing!

This place was horrible! The first room they put us in (a non smoking room) stunk like smoke and like mariguana. It was so bad we asked to change rooms, the second room wasn't much better. It smelled of smoke and when you stepped into the tub it had water under the tub itself. When you move in it it ripples like walking in water. All the blankets and sheets had cigarette burns on them. There were also cockroaches. The night front desk person was nice, but the day guy wasn't so much. He watched me get coffee and made comments on the amount of powdered creamer I used (I guess I was limited even though I didn't get much). All in all I would stay clear of the place. I wouldn't stay thete again for free let alone paying.

It was decent, I was only there for the night but the beds were clean and the Internet was pretty good (14Mbps down, 1Mbps up). There was a complimentary continental breakfast too. The only bad thing was the fridge had a leak. All in all, a good experience.

Just showed up from being on the road from Charleston SC. When we got to the front desk to check in, the front desk clerk told us that they cancelled our reservation and already filled the room. He had no other explanation other than "I sent you an email". The clerks name was Bill and he was very smug and showed no empathy or explanation. We have yet to receive said Email and are currently in their parking lot calling around for another hotel. Needless to say, because of Bill and his poor attitude along with sub-par customer service skills… we will NEVER stay at a Country Inn again. Country Inn Corporate… you should be ashamed of yourself for hiring such a disrespectful employee to represent your company.

Decent room decent price good service would have been 5 stars but there was hair in the tub.

Ummmm 2 words,,,, BED BUGS! ROOM 206… In the middle of the night I was awoken to a sudden urge to scratch all over. I went to the mirror and I had 4 bites on my neck 3 on my left arm, and about a half a dozen on my right leg. I went back to the bed and immediately woke up my fiance. He grabbed the cell phone and turned off the lights, site enough he found 5 bed bugs no problem… We such them in the little plastic cups and went to the front desk. The guy said he couldn't refund my money! I gave him the cup with the bed bugs in it… Only when I threatened to call the health department did he agree that a refund was necessary. Save yourself the trouble spend the extra $15 and go to the comfort suites across the road! Oh BTW this happened just about an hour ago it's 3/17/16 12:02 am. I'm still calling the BBB and the health department in the morning! And my account had better have my refund on it! Now I have at least 24 hours of healing simply because they couldn't clean their rooms properly! Ugh.

Most disgusting place to stay. The rooms are not at all clean, there is an awful smell. The carpet is sticky, bathroom is dirty was sleep deprived for 3 continuous days already and was driving and thought to rest here. Horrible! a big bed bug bit me and my hand is all swollen and red. They changed the room and same repeated. I wished I would have stayed in the airport atleast. I never got my sleep. Please save yourself don't stay here.

No desk in the rooms although their website states "Every hotel room is equipped with the following amenities: desk with lamp". Last I checked that is what is known as FALSE ADVERTISING! I travel a lot for work and the desk is needed. The entire hotel looks beat up from furniture to carpet. The breakfast selection was typical for this type of hotel but I am concerned about food safety. Bugs were in the fruit mix and the hard boiled egg was not cold at all.

Worst hotel I've stay. Was BUG BED infested. When the clerk was told her reply was "Oh Really? " Please do not stay here and do not bring your pets. I gave it a star because won't let me post without a star.

Do not stay here. My room was infested with bed bugs. I switched rooms was to. They would not return my money either.

I would give this place NO starts but that wasn't an option! Wet checked in after driving four four very long days from Arizona almost to our destination but could not drive anymore! We went in with our child and noticed stains on the carpet, we got a non smoking room and it smelled like an ashtray, my child so tired laid down while I was showing and started screaming… I got out immediately and she said something was biting her… I lifted the sheets where she had been laying and saw about twenty! Bed bugs crawling around I ended up catching two and putting them in a bag to bring to the office when demanding my refund as tired as we were I was doing it, it's s good thing I didn't bring anything in from the car yet… Went to the office whom wanted to see the bugs and said they were going to the room to see no need I got them right here we only been here 15 minutes damn! Not like we were trying to get a free night after waiting what felt like hours they finally gave us a refund minus a 35.00 cleaning fee¡! The room only was 50.47. What a crock of shit me. Cleaning fee… They never cleaned this place ever! I do not reccommend to anyone in fact warmed everyone in the parking lot the pool was the most disgusting looking I have ever seen to please believe me this is not an angry person with a bad experience speaking this was a horrible experience for anyone with children and this place should be closed down seriously!

It was awful! There were roaches! Also had nasty carpet and old uncomfortable, squeaky beds. There was a large gap under the door for the bugs to come in. The worse part was that there was only one wash cloth for 2 people and when we ask the front desk for one more he was very rude and said he could not give us one then told my husband he was not allowed to walk outside with his shirt off. We had just left the pool! This place was a nightmare.

I have used different hotels every time we go on vacation but now I am a die hard fan and loyal user of Country Inn and Suites, the hotel was sooooo very clean and the staff went above and beyond their duties, the breakfast was to die for, and the rooms were air conditioned! The cold room was so comfortable to walk into after touring the whole day in the hot sun, my kids loved the pool and hot tub, the only downfall to the inside pool is that there was way too much chlorine in it, I totally understand WHY it has to be so chlorinated but OMGosh, if you have a scrap, scratch or even a small nic, like I did from shaving my legs, then your in trouble if you get in the pool, it ate me alive! But that is fine with me because the room we stayed in was well worth it, no bed bugs, clean everything, I was just amazed at the quality we got for the price we paid, I will definitely recommend this hotel for any of my friends and family, keep up the good work!

The staff was very unhelpful and were always mad.

The motel was heave infested with roaches. Bedding was stained. Microwave did not work. Mini refrigerator was dirty.

Nice and clean, comfortable beds friendly staff. Breakfast was alright nothing special but ok. Better than some others in the area. I'll stay here again when laying over in area!

Disgusting and Horrifying! Stopped here late one night while stopping to see family after honeymoon, just needed a place for the night. The room was disgusting, carpet was grimy, the door didn't seal (you could see through the 1 inch gap) and barely locked, No shower curtain, and all light bulbs were blown but one! We walked in and walked back out! Plus the group of 20+ shady characters staying a few doors down and hanging out near our room, stared us down like we weren't welcome. We went to the hotel directly behind them called Comfort Suites. Much nicer, safer, cleaner, quieter, only $20 more. What a nightmare! Don't stay at Family Inns.
