Do not stay here. Absolutely gross. Booked this hotel based off of previous stays with Marriotts, and the location. Our first room was disgusting. The bathroom was completely run down — falling apart, mold, and the shower head was stuck at a position for someone 4ft tall. We also had hairs on the "clean sheets". The room smelled of musk and mold, trying to be concealed with a tropical air freshener. After showing photos to the front desk, they moved us to another room which was cleaner, and in better shape. However, we asked for extra pillows to be delivered to our room 5 times, and never did they follow through. Find somewhere else to stay please!

Arrival and welcome are acceptable but we decided to change hotels because we did not feel comfortable for several reasons…
— Small room and hyper narrow bed, not comfortable
— the view does not correspond at all to the photos on their website
— Bad smell, smell of cigarettes and canabis in the corridors and elevator
— cleanliness remains to be desired, dirty and uninfected surface

Good location, the gym is very good and everything is very clean.

We checked in 12/25/21 and are here until 12/31/21. This is the WORST hotel experience I have ever had. There is no room service, I can’t get anyone to clean my room or even bring clean towels despite numerous calls to the front desk. When we checked in there’s was a half eaten sandwich in the refrigerator, which worries me that the trim was ever cleaned and sanitized before our visit. There is one ice machines the 35th floor for the 60 plus floors of rooms, and the room where breakfast is served is a buffet style high os overcrowded, under staffed and clearly a super-pleader destination! What is this Marriott corporation?

Nice property in Midtown Manhattan. Was in NYC for a couple of days and this location was perfect for me to take of my business while in the city. I learned one thing. You must keep your hotel card in the slot in order for the lights to stay on in your room. Good lesson! lol 😂 ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿

This 65 story skyscraper hotel has views of Times Square or Central Park. The staffs are friendly and welcoming. On the 35th floor there are active bee hives to see. There's two MTA stations right outside the hotel for easy access to anywhere you're heading to. Times Square and Central Park be are easy walks. My wife and I loved the Empire Steak House next door and Carolines Comedy Club while staying close to the hotel in the evenings. I highly recommend this hotel as an awesome base while visiting NYC.

Room with beautiful view, considerable spaces, excellent location if you arrive by metro, everything was very clean, very comfortable bed and above all excellent service, we were made to store our bags before check in, I highly recommend it.

We spent New Years 2020 at the excellent hotel. Room 5608 had a perfect view of the ball drop and with the window open you could experience the live music and ball drop screams. Excellent place to hide from the million plus people on time square. Loved it.

I literally adored staying in this hotel! The very central Location, excellent breakfast, efficient staff, spacious room, quiet and with all amenities. And finally, wonderful sight!

Our stay was great! The location of the property puts you within walking distance of Central Park, and Times Sq, or there’s a Subway entrance caddy corner. The staff was so friendly and very courteous. Wioleta, David and Nicole at the desk went above and beyond to ensure we had a great family vacation.

A place to relax. There are plenty of water fountains, no need to buy the expensive bottled water.

It is a very big park didn't get to see everything. But when I went they had the summer stage there loved the ponds with the ducks. Its alot to do and see there.

My absolute favorite place in the big apple. It's beautiful island of nature and different every day. A must see if you are visiting NYC and so grateful we have it next to our home.

I love this gem in the middle of a busy, loud city! We rode the Carousel (yes, we're adults) and giggled like kids! It's a beautiful place to slow down, decompress and enjoy your surroundings! A must see!

Staff was friendly and helpful from the moment you drive up or step into the hotel. The room was small but it fit our needs. The hotel had a wheelchair which helped with one of our guests and the location was convenient to many popular places we wanted to visit. The downside was the valet parking. It’s $50/night, which isn’t uncommon but unfortunately, they broke into my locked glove compartment and now the latch is broken. I called to speak to the manager to alert the hotel. The manager was unavailable and it was recommended that I leave a voicemail. I left a VM but the manager never returned my calls. As a Marriott member, I expected more. I won’t be staying at this location again. Even though the manager replied with a comment to this review, I still have yet to hear from anyone despite the voice messages and this review.

AWESOME! I was so happy with picking this place. So affordable and in such a great location. I took a bath while listening to the hustle and bustle of the city. I will always stay here anytime I visit. You can see Carnegie which is almost directly across the street. You can see Time Square which is 2 blocks up! I simply cannot say enough about how in love I am with this place!

Best hotel we’ve ever stayed in while in NYC! Location can’t be beat. Close to the park and away from the craziness of Time Square but you can be there in a short walk if you want. Great quiet room and very attentive staff. Highly recommend!

We just got back from our 3 day stay here at the Park Central Hotel. I had nothing but great interactions and experiences with this hotel. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. Our flight came in at about 8am and check-in wasn’t until 4p. We came to the hotel and we’re able to check our bags and we’re told that we would get a text when our room was ready. It ended up being ready early which we were super appreciative of! We stayed on the 12th floor and the room was very spacious! Great view too! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for making my first trip to New York easy and not stressful!

The hotel is clean, they have nightly events at the hotel bar and it’s up to date. The rooms are nice BUT they are VERY small. The view I had from my suite was of others in the hotel. Again: if you are looking to be around all the midtown events, then you will want to stay here. This photo attached was less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel!

Dirty hotel with an unpleasant smell. Plus — a great location in the city centre.

Rooms are small but comfortable, the amenities are great, having a little kitchenette with coffee maker, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and dishes and silverware, very convenient, no room service but you can order in. There is a convenience store, and breakfast included. But the best part is the spectacular view… 65th floor. Thaat was the show in itself!

Outstanding location, convenient for Central Park, Broadway, Times Square and just about anywhere in Manhattan. I opted for a corner room and the view was amazing! Only issue is the shower, while quite modern and fun with scenic window view, was definitely not made for short people. It sprayed all over the floor and I couldn't reach up to adjust the location. Definitely flooded and used up all the towels to dry it up and wait time to get new towels was extensive. Thank goodness I wasn't in a hurry.

Love it. Cute, cute, cute place. Awesome location to walk out the door to South Congress shopping. VERY nice people working the desk. (Props Carrie! ) What a lovely, hidden secret that won't be a secret long.

One of the cleanest hotels in Manhattan, Time Square in New York also shops with your family. The environment is family oriented, immaculate, pristine, and the customer service is fantastic. I would strongly recommend this place to shop because I have an excellent experience that cannot be compared to any.

We were happy the rickshaw’s were available as my daughter can’t walk very far. We enjoyed our first visit to Central Park. We ate lunch at the Tavern on the Green in the park. It was delicious. We loved the information the driver gave us on the history and movies filmed in different locations. We took photos at the Friends Fountain, John Lennon memorial, Spider-Man 3 bridge, Elf bridge, walked through the zoo, and my daughter was so excited to play in the park where they film “Jessie”. A great park that is very clean, the mall area very fun and full of musicians. Mature trees, paths, rock areas to relax. It is an amazing park.

The staff at the hotel is nice and willing to serve you. Their rooms a clean and neat. The views are great, depending on which side of the building you are one. Ask to be on the Broadway side for a better view. The hotel is centrally located to Central Park and Times Square. A few other things to know: -You can leave your bags with them for the day when you arrive and when you leave. -It’s about 4 blocks away from the Subway. -The Hallways to the hotel rooms seem poorly ventilated and were a bit warm, but this wasn’t a big issue since the A/C works great in the rooms.

Clean hotel with good service. The rooms are small, which is fine except that our bathroom door actually hit the toilet when we tried to open it all the way. The elevators are limited (1/2 were broken when we were there). Even still, everyone was friendly and helpful, and you can’t beat the location, which is close to Central Park, Hell’s Kitchen and the Theater District.

Good place to stay in Manhattan, (only with older than 4years kids). They have window getting opened up to 6 inches. If a kid open it by mistake he/she can fall from that. Called the staff, they said they have all rooms like this. So have to put some heavy luggage around. Fantastic staff, and services.

Well located, the rooms nice but small, great views and a lot of K. At the reception at all hours. But advisable. The Price is right where it is.

Accustomed to new york I class this hotel in my top 3. Situation exeptionel. Personally I liked the design of the room and its large size rare on time square. If the budget allows choose a room in the corner with a view of the room 2906. Home discreet and warm. Gym at the top with a breathtaking view. Not tested the breakfast. The residence by marriott is also top even higher and with a different design and a kitchenette in addition. I highly recommend word of travel professionals.

Room and bathroom small. Only 2 elevators so wait every time. When we arrived there was a sock under the bedside table when we left she was still there. Extra charge $35 per day for gym access or we don't really have time to go and the luggage locker. But when you get them back. The Porter needs a tip. Considering the number of NYC Hotels it's best to choose another.

Though the location of the hotel is great (just few meters away from Times Square) the room size is extremely small. More so for double occupancy. One can't move around without brushing the other person. Reminded me of labor camps that I had seen in a film. For the rates that they are charging, guests deserve better.

Exactly what you expect from a Courtyard by Marriott. Clean room. Pleasant staff. This location is just perfect. Just a few minutes walk to Central Park and Times Square. Perfect spot to explore Manhattan from. I can't wait to go back, will definitely stay again!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! This trip was a short 2 night stay. The main reason why I selected this hotel, was due to the "special package" that included the $75 (per night) valet charge. I was moving my daughter (a college student in NYC) from her residence hall into her first apartment in Brooklyn. During the check-in process (after a 5 hour drive… checked-in at 9:30pm), I informed the front desk that my SUV was packed with my daughters belongings and confirmed that it would not be an issue to retrieve my car in the morning. They confirmed this would not be an issue. Well it became a HUGE issue during the check-out process and charged me $75 for valet. The man assisting me was extremely rude and told me to "be quiet" while he was talking. I then asked to speak with his manager, who happened to be standing there and witnessed everything. His manager began assisting me and informed her staff member that she will take it from here. He started reprimanding his manager, speaking over us both and refused to walk away. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!

AMAZING! This hotel is beautiful inside and out. Very clean rooms and spacious. The front desk very friendly and courteous, all staff as well. Love the view of our room. We were just a few blocks away from time square and central park. Also just a few blocks away from a lot of the Broadway shows. Definitely worth the stay.

First of all I will start by saying I am a platinum elite member of Marriott and have stayed approx 150 nights a year on average. I am also a retail executive for a billion dollar company. My wife and I stayed here in March for 8 days and had several items stolen from our room both personal and soiveniers. After becoming aware we notified management who assured us they would resolve it right away. Now here we are May 9 and after several attempts to try and allow them to make this right they have decided to do nothing. They simply don’t care about their customers or their loyal members what so ever. I have written a letter to the CEO and am awaiting a response. In the meantime I warn everyone I know on all social media channels I have available to me not to stay here as they have thieves working for them and don’t care about their loyal customers in the slightest. Stay away don’t stay here unless you want things to disappear.

Amazing hotel and friendly staff. I will definitely come again. Breakfast was plentiful. Maybe not 20 different varieties of eggs but who cares! For me it was delicious and enough even with 2 styles of eggs. Hello people! get real with your breakfast comments.

Great Hotel. Clean rooms, close to everything, and relatively good prices. This is the third or fourth stay for us in recent years and we never had a problem. Be warned however about room 303. It is directly adjacent to the fitness center, which seems to have no limit on operating hours. Sporadically all day, and now again after 10 pm, it sounds and feels like elephants and rhinos are in the fitness center playing hockey. No exaggeration, the wall and floor is shaking and the sound is quite loud. Woke us up, for second time today. The management here needs to limit the operating hours of the fitness center, and / or abandon this room for paying customers. We will be back again, but never in 303…

It was a little old. Although it is very comfortable and is very well located. 2 blocks from Central Park and close enough to Times Square without being in the middle of the noise.

Very good hotel. Breathtaking view from high rooms (reaches 65) and is the highest in Manhattan. Good rooms, good beds and very good breakfast. Location.

Renovated Hotel near Times Square. Clean and comfortable rooms. Pity that the soundproofing of these is deficient as it strains all the noise of the street and the horns of the cars of the yorkers so prone to use them to the minimum occasion that they have. They also have a serious problem with the elevators, these do not provide for both racking customer so it is an adventure to take one at certain times.

4 Star only because the maids on the floors did not clean… They just remade the bed.

Prime location! 3 blocks south of central park, close to Broadway and time square. The room was nice and spacious, the bathroom was clean. I would definitely stay here again! It was a great place to stay on my first visit to NYC.

Room is small as expected. Clean. There are only about 8 rooms on each floor and all of them are close to elevator. Fortunately not many noisy guests during our stay. No fridge in the room which is why it didn't get 5 stars. Deli store downstairs is convenient. Friendly staff.

The service is impoverished. I got a package and they stole it from me. I have the signature of the Amazon shipment that had been delivered. He never showed up. They're thieves. Never go.

At reception although they know Spanish and see your problems to explain you do not speak, the reservation was requested high room and we got the floor 38 of the lowest, was ordered with views and only seen building opposite, breakfast little varied, severe deficiencies in the bedroom, noisy air, bad drains, misaligned drawers, the alarm went off at midnight, they hadn't checked it, I feel cheated, it ruins your vacation. They don't change rooms. Never again Marriott. I still have eight days left to hold.

No ice bucket in the kitchen, freezer unable to be opened due to door hinge preventing it, no book giving details of the hotel, dark hallways, and complimentary breakfast can not keep up with the amount of people. Everything in this hotel was incredible. Except for some rude grandma in the elevator who forgot to take her meds, probably. Moving on… this hotel has it all. Imagine waking up 62 floors looking over Central Park and seeing snowfall for the first time in your life. Yeah, this hotel accomplished the height portion of that. The rooms are plush and the views are just stunning… RESERVE A CORNER ROOM! One more thing… FREE BREAKFAST!

These people are idiots. We had to check in under the person who booked the room's card in order to get in, which is fine. We were there at 8:30 PM and the person who booked the room was really late and wouldn't be there until 12 AM. We asked if we could check in, and they said they need a credit card to put on hold. I gave them my CC, asked them 50, 000 times not to charge any room charges to my card, just the hold is fine. The woman who booked the hotel switched her card out with mine and also specified not to charge my card. LOW AND BEHOLD, they charged everything to my card, after we triple checked I would not get charged. Our room was so small and had one really small mirror. Check in took way too long. Not coming here again.

It's fine, but it's not a great category. They charge the receipt of packages. Rooms girls. It has a Starbucks on the 4th floor, to keep in mind!

A very pleasant place for parties and social events advisable to 100% which I want type of event is very nice food and people are excellent they are recommended to look everything is excellent and the view is superb.

The Hotel centrally located in Midtown and has large nice clean rooms. The Wi-Fi was easy to use and worked well on up to 5 devices. Downstairs they also have a good bar slash working area with plenty of room. Some of the plugs don't work in the electrical outlets down there, however I was able to make do and it was a good experience overall. The hotel in the morning, I did not see a restaurant while I was there. But you're also in Midtown so there's a lot of choices and options just around the corner.

It started off pleasant. Then three nights in, two guys checked into the room across from us and started blazing up. The smell of weed and cigarettes both came into our room. I called downstairs twice and went down once and nothing was done. Had to go buy medicine because the smell was making me sick. I did not enjoy paying almost $200 a night for nothing to be done about it. They had “security” knock on their door and then as he walks away the two men poked their heads out and then shut the door. My girlfriend and I were unable to sleep even later in the night due to the guys in this room puking the rest of the night. Ruined our entire day because instead of exploring the city we were catching up on sleep. Management was unwilling to do anything and very unsympathetic. I’m not surprised because I found very few places in the city with quality guest service. Also, there’s nothing unique about this hotel that would separate it from others, so I would recommend giving others a try.

Our stay was awesome. Check in was quick and easy with a super friendly staff. We had a great conversation during check in, staff genuinely wanted to do whatever they could to help us. The location is fantastic, just a couple minutes walk to Times Square or Central Park. Dozens of great places to eat, all a short walk away. The room was excellent, nicely sized and appointed, clean and quiet. Even had a decent view from the 29th floor. One weird little thing was no washcloths in the bathroom. I requested some in the app and by phone. Twice they brought extra towels, but no washcloths. Loved our stay and will definitely stay here again.

Great location. Easy to see right off of 7th Avenue servicing Manhattan New York. Parking on the street is available but it fills up fast especially on the weekends and at night. Parking lot near by. Priced for tourists so bring your credit card. Clean facilities with a wheelchair accessible entrance. Public Restrooms. We will definitely be going back.

The hotel itself is very clean and well-maintained. My only complaint is that you are unable to control the temperature in the room. One night the room was warm and the maintenance worker said the best they could do was to open the windows, because this time of year they don't have the air conditioning on. The next night the weather changed and it was very cold outside, the maintenance worker said that as the temperatures decrease outside, the hotel adjusts their main unit. The front desk did offer a space heater, so that was a nice gesture. Overall, I would stay here again because it is clean and the location is perfect.

If I could give zero stars I would, I changed the original hotel that I booked with to this one because of the stand alone tub and that was a big mistake. I not only requested a garden tub when booked, I called one week prior to arrival to make sure my request was acknowledged, I was assured that it wasn’t a problem. To my surprise when I got there I was greeted by the manager, I don’t Remember his name. He told me that their was only 30 rooms of that kind and all of them were booked. Funny how he knew this without checking the system. He also said all 30 rooms would be booked the whole time of my stay. Which I thought was very strange. Upon entering the room, it was very small to be a corner room with a view and speaking of a view all I had was the back of a dirty building as a view. The bathroom was even smaller. Feeling furious I called my booking company who called the hotel and the hotel promised to switch me to a new room in the morning. When I called to verify this, was told I had to pay for a different type of room. Even more furious I called my booking company again to find a different hotel. This room that I has was not worth the $1475 and the customer service was disgusting. I left this hotel after only being their an hour and of course they wouldn’t refund me my money. Marriott needs to fire the manager on duty that day, just because I am black doesn’t mean I don’t have money and can take my business elsewhere.

Upon arrival to Park Central for a work conference last year I received a phone call that there was an unexpected death in my family. I had to abruptly change plans and leave early. Despite policy — I was not charged for additional days that I needed to cancel — no verification was ever requested and the staff was more than courteous and helpful. They continued to tell me to just let them know if I needed anything, and they would be there. The room was smaller than usual but I never had trouble with the Wi-Fi as others mentioned — and wrote an obituary and made most funeral and change of travel arrangements via the web and emails while in the room. I found the lobby snack area very convenient and well stocked with healthy food options. I would definitely stay at the Park Central again.

Very good hotel overall, clean, very nice, the rooms are spacious enough.
On the other hand according to the layout of your room you will have a soundproofing more or less good. The rooms are very clean but the carpet is a bit damaged (see photo, it is not dirt but just damaged) special Mention to the staff not really nice or welcoming, like most American services.

Super Hotel! The view from the window to New York is just gorgeous!

The hotel was OK, the rooms too. The mandatory fee for the use of the "free WLAN", the computer in the lobby and the fitness room is inappropriate.

It is well located you can walk to Time Square or Roquefeller center. Infinite eating options and for all pockets. You just have to explore. The rooms are very comfortable and the cleanliness is excellent. As it is in office area you will have to get used to not opening the blind, but it does not matter because in new York you come to walk and know and what you need is a place to rest and this meets. The only negative detail is that the mattresses are soft and the back is recent, when asked about the possibility of changing I was told that all the mattresses were the same. Solution: Sleep with a pillow on your back and adapt.

This location has both a Courtyard and Resident Inn. We were in the Resident Inn side. Great location, within walking distance of many sites. Rooms are small and ours had no drawer space at all, so obviously designed for quick trips. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would be 4 stars if the room had a small chest or at least some drawer space.

Hotel was fine. Traffic in front was CRAZY. I had to circle the block 3 times before I could park and let the valet take my car. Very central location, which is great, once you have figured out what to do with your car. Room was clean and reasonably priced. I would stay here again.

The hotel has good location and the price is reasonable.
One block away there is any transportation opportunity that is necessary, besides public transport is Hertz to rent a vehicle.
The room we have has no problem, the beds very comfortable and the space is adequate.
Unfortunately, the noise is excessive, practically we have not been able to sleep despite the long trip to arrive yesterday to NY.
Without nearly three hours and you hear screaming, falling bottles, fans trash bags of a business called corners located 7 floors below our has situation and this actually demerit all the place, at this time (1:18 am) What you want is to rest, do not hear cries from the maintenance clerks of the building across the street. Request a room change even if I had an extra charge and it was not possible.
Also the car horn noise is practically uninterrupted.
Yesterday, January 23 rained very hard and very cold, but in the hotel has no dry cleaning or laundry service and no dryer or dry cleaning service and although not obligatory, I if I thought that price the type of hotel should have something like that. Hotel is centrally located. You can reach a lot of things on foot, but who prefers Metro auxh no problem. Two stops directly at the hotel. Rooms are cleaned daily. We were three there and the room was big enough. Only the elevator got a little annoyed (waiting time)

We stayed here for our honeymoon/anniversary. Fantastic hotel. Just what we were looking for. Very accommodating staff. Room was amazing with a view il never forget. I used to sit at the window every nite just mesmerized by the bright lights and the madness down below in our quiet, sky high room. Bed was so comfy esp after a long day of walking the city. Kitchenette was so handy. We didn't use it as our breakfast was included but has everything u need if u were to cook. Even microwave popcorn! Elevator is so quick to the 63rd floor which we stayed. Some reviews in other hotels this was an issue but not here. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay again. Fantastic location. Everything u need is no more than 10 min walk. Subway is one block down and is the best way to get to any destination from the hotel. We had one complaint but this wasn't down to hotels fault but disrespectful guest.

Everything was clean and very professional.

Went to Park Central hotel for drinks at their bar. The location is great — close to the park and close to everything you could want. The building is quite old, so it has more of an old hotel feel than a new, hip place. The staff were nice and the drinks were fine. Nothing really blew me away, but I wasn't disappointed either. Good place to go if you're in the neighbourhood, though there are more exciting bars around.

Lovely experience from the moment you arrive. Professional people! Warm friendly doormen, concierge so helpful And reception staff can’t do enough. The rooms are exactly as the photos show but the views are better as it’s hard to show the full scope of everything. Love this place! Definitely returning.

Coming from out of town I was impressed with the location. Upon check in, my experience was great until I encountered Ashley Deichert, the manager. She was brash and rude to my guest and I. I must say the rest of the staff was amazing and very helpful. As the manager I would think you would encourage excellent customer service by leading by example. The staff confirmed that she treats guest that way. As long as you don't encounter her, you should have a pleasant experience.

The hotel was beautiful. As a Platinum Elite member, I got upgraded for free to a corner room with full glass windows with view of Central Park and it was stunning. The room was small but beautiful and comfortable. It was honestly the best bed I've slept in so far in my life. The complementary breakfast had good variety and a beautiful dining area. The parking valet service was very quick and felt safe. Excellent stay!

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at the park central hotel. The rooms were very clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating! Great location! Hotel was quite busy, but considering it'd right off of Broadway it makes sense. Rooms were a bit small but is nice and cozy. Staff was generally friendly, but because it was so busy they it could be been better! For the price you can't to wrong!

Fabulous! Love it! So comfy and homey. I am waiting for these to go on sale. I want the two bedroom, two bath. It is like a giant condo, with all amenities you need. Cook ware, silverware, laundry baskets, etc. If you require additional items, a personal shopper can be at your assistance.

NYC BEST ROOFTOP HOTEL RESTAURANT & LOUNGE "Terrace54" on 5th Floor of 1717 Broadway. Set to open to the Public Spring 2018. With 2, 748 ft of wrap around terrace and epic views of NYC. This place is destined for greatness. Cant wait.

The hotel is comfortable and clean. The staff is nice and helpful. The room amenities are a bit dated and we had limited hot water in the morning. Overall a value if you just need a place to sleep with a good bed.

We checked in Christmas Eve and stayed two nights. The kind woman at the front desk upgraded our room so we ended up with a 62nd floor king size room with a city view. Any city facing rooms (I'm assuming) would be AWESOME to book over New Year's Eve because from our window we can see where the ball will drop. When we arrived in the room it was beautifully clean, genuinely no complaints. Housekeeping does an incredible job making the rooms look like you're the first to stay in the room. The room is also a great use of space because there was enough space for a king size bed, the TV and some storage drawers, a desk, kitchen space (which has both a working dishwasher, freezer and fridge! ), and a nice bathroom. For NYC standards what we were given is an incredible deal. Though the sheets weren't the most soft or comfortable, we slept well through the night and that's all we could ever ask for. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a Times square/Central Park based visit.

Rundown rooms and interior. The carpet in the rooms and hallways is rundown and filthy. The room was so hot, we were advised by maintenance to open the window to cool it down because the air conditioning did not work. The concierge and customer service is horrible. Called several times, no one answered. Left messages, no one returned our calls, except the one time for maintenance. Waited in line for nearly 20 minutes to check bags after checking out, while only one employee was handling bag check. Manager behind the check-in counter looking at the computer monitor ignoring the long line for the duration of our wait. Completely ignoring the situation. No bellman outside of the premises to help flag down a cab, or help load/unload baggage. We ordered 4 soda beverages in the lounge. They were served in small plastic cups for a total cost of $25.00! Very, very dissatisfied with our 3 night stay to the tune of over $700/night! Park Central Hotel needs to clean up their act.

It's a beautiful hotel with great views. The rooms are comfy and the bathrooms are very chic. (There's no mini fridge in the rooms, sorry! ) A man named Emmanuel was extremely helpful in helping me settle in. Yet, my experience with the other workers here was terrible! We weren't greeted at the bar while others were. I was refused help with my luggage though I was willing to pay, and that's just the half of it. I love the hotel, but I wouldn't return.

Located in a very strategic position. It's "far" and "close" to everything, in front of Carnegie Hall. It deserves to stay both for the location and for the treatment and for the prices. I was fortunate a few years ago to stay the same days when the beautiful girls of Donnavventura were staying. I recommend it!

My husband and I stayed here for my first trip to NYC. The hotel itself was nice. The rooms were small but really clean and the bed was comfortable. They only have a couple of elevators to use on either side of the building. They can be somewhat slow at times but we never had to wait longer than a few minutes for one. My one biggest complaint is that the staff could be a little friendlier. They weren’t exactly rude, but their responses were clipped and the tone of voice just sounded like they did not want to help. The men were actually friendlier than the women. We talked to one guy behind the desk and he was just the seeetest person. Overall I would definitely stay here again on another trip though! The location is fantastic. Just a walk from Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Radio City, and a bunch of other landmarks! I had the best time for my first trip to the city!

Good Hotel, clean, tidy. Convenient just 5 minutes from Times Square on the 7th Ave. Only flaw you may find yourself with the window of the room cell that looks at the wall in front… but it is not a problem since in New York you do not go to stay in the Hotel.

I’m a history buff, so to know the great pride this hotel took in its own history was very exciting to me. I appreciated the hotel staff and accommodations. This was a great place for our Labor day weekend in New York. Ideally situated near Central Park and the MOMA. Subway access practically at every corner. We went to the US OPEN one day and found it to be a very tolerable trip on the subway. Many delis in the immediate vicinity of the Park Central for a classic New York dining experience. Times Square was a 10 minute walk which as close enough but also far enough to be away from the craziness (if that makes sense). Definitely a do over. Only problem was waiting for the elevators.

The staff were very friendly and instalactions. The service is bad. I didn't get the maletetos to rise to the room to help me with the suitcases. When I managed to go to the lobby there were four of them chatting with no desire to help. If I ordered coffee or towels (because I had not put them in the bathroom), it took literally 2 hours x clock. It's the 5th time I stay there and I think it will be the last.

Fantastic hotel. We stay here every time we're in the city and it never fails to impress. Outstanding views, friendly helpful staff (from the front desk to the valet), great lounge area with nice street views, plus a delicious breakfast all combine to make this a very nice play to stay. The rooms aren't big, but they're good sized for Manhattan, and also the price point. You can stay cheaper, but this hotel is totally worth the cost. We will definitely stay here again! Views of Manhattan were great from our room we're great. Although the room size was a smaller than I was expecting and a bit crampt, specially being a Marriott Gold Elite rewards member I wasn't very pleased, as we should have received an upgrade as part of our membership. I've stayed a lot of night at a lot of Marriott's this past year, so I was expecting a bit more considering. Besides that, the service was great, and everyone was very helpful and professional.

The hotel was located between Central Park and Times Square. I was hoping for a view of Central Park but we got a room that was on the 7th floor and it did not have a very good view. The day court is modern and artistic. The rooms are small but very sufficient and cozy. I had to ask three times for regular coffee should be brought to my room since there was only decaf and I was a little bit frustrated with the service at that point. But the afternoon of my check out I called to report that I left some things in the safe. The staff was very quick to retrieve the items and keep them for me safe until I was able to get back to the hotel. They also kept our bags after check out so that we could walk around New York without lugging our luggage. So all in all it was a very good stay and Marriott did not disappoint.

We were welcomed by the Valet who was nice as can be. Checked in by the warmest, friendliest staff. Took our daughter into NYC for her birthday and what a birthday! Will be visiting this hotel again! Room was clean and the staff was so helpful.

It is a nice place and well located.
The bad thing is the attention to the guest. The room has moisture stains on the ceiling. There was a day when the towels were not left. I wasn't walking the bath cap. And the worst thing is that they have no fridge or frigobar. And also a letter with prices.

It was beautiful. The view was great. Service was quick. Room was a bit small but I guess that's expected in the city. Good size for just the two of us. Elevator and rooms were a little confusing g since the clerk told us the wrong I formation but staff member pointed us in right direction.

Location is great, close to times Square. Rooms are very modern and well maintained, but very small. Micro fridge and no microwave were the main reason I can't give 5 stars. Beyond that, I have had no issues and a pleasant stay.

Whomever decided to put the fitness center on the 3rd level of the hotel right next to the rooms is a first class moron. Of course some people like to work out early to start the day so you get to enjoy hearing every dumbbell hit the ground whenever anyone decides to workout (530 am for me till about 730) When the rates are over $600 you think the staff would maybe give a discount for that room or show some sympathy. Instead they said "I know… sorry" and then an awkward pause and a shrug of the shoulder. Awful experience for a ridiculous price. Poor service and once again who the F puts the fitness center next to rooms, fields many complaints I'm sure regarding it, and tells those guests basically they know you had a bad stay, sorry, have a good day here's your $700 bill. Won't be staying there again.

Pretty quiet hotel, staff not as nice and helpful as they should be they choose who they like to help. Rooms are nice they always clean very well and deliver clean towels right on time without you asking. The area is great very close to time square and shopping lots of eating places. Pretty expensive hotel. Heads up if your looking to save money this place doesn't have refrigerator or microwave or coffee pot like most hotels so you have left overs or would like to eat in your room you can't.

A great hotel, in a great location. In the center to the best of NY for us… 300m from Central Park. 150m from Subway. What else?

This hotel can be found in a central location conveniently near the subway, Central Park, and plenty of great places to eat and drink. The room was well taken care of but did not include a fridge or microwave as some do. The lobby and lounge were also well manicured. The hallways, on the other hand, were outdated and rundown. Door frames had chips that we're covered poorly by paint and the service cart were littered throughout the hallways at all times. The entire staff was extremely nice and respectful.

Good place to stay liked the room high city view loved that part. A bit small space which wasn't that big of a deal we just went to sleep there. Room service was good. The water bottles said $6 but they didn't charge us so I don't know why it said that. I would definitely stay there again! Very close to time square and food places! Still will them 5 stars.

An overall good experience, and would stay there again. Like its name, centrally positioned and therefore a great place to set off from each day to explore the city. Comfortable bed and a large TV were the many positives about staying here, and compared to its competitors, well priced. The few things to take note of if you are planning to stay there are that the lift service is limited considering the size of the hotel, (barely 2 running whilst we were there), so at peak times there were long waits either trying to get down or up to your room due to crammed lifts. The other thing is that it is not immediately apparent when booking, but there is an additional "facilities" charge of some $31 per day which may catch some by surprise at a point of no return as they begin the checking in process. I still however continue to recommend this hotel if you're visiting New York.

I would like to thank the management and front desk for great hospitality. These people go above and beyond for customer care and service. Hotel is clean and beautiful. We had an early flight so ended up getting in way too early for check in and didn't sleep all night while flying. The staff did everything they could to try and get us an early check in, during a fully booked morning. We were in a room by 11am (with extra fee) never was I more grateful to get some rest Room was nice clean spacious and a beautiful view. Great employees! This is somewhere I would always want to come if that's how they pay attention to everyone.

We stayed at this hotel almost five years ago. It is ideally located within a few steps of "Times Square" and Central Park.
The services offered were up to our expectations and the staff always available.

Clean, large and elegant rooms, in a strategic area of Manhattan, a 5-minute walk from Central Park to the north and Times Square to the south. Better rooms higher up on the 5th floor, more isolated than noises of a very busy street even at night.

The overall experience was terrific. We appreciated the nice facilities such as the gym. Only complaint is that the rooms were quite dusty which triggered my allergies a few times. Overall however quite nice.

The Hotel is very close to the Central Park. The rooms are spacious and there is a fitness room.
A big thank you to the staff for their responsiveness and kindness despite a full hotel to change our room. I didn't like it (view on the wall opposite) and they did their best to allow us to change rooms the next day.
On the other hand do not dwell on the breakfast which is actually almost non existent. Prefer to take it in one of the many facilities that line the hotel. Perfect with kids.

Location, location, location. This is in the middle of the theatre district, just a few blocks from Central Park and Times Square. As others have said the rooms are small, but they are modern and clean. Most rooms have an incredible view. Staff is friendly and responsive. Will return.

I am an avid lover of views so just being able to experience a magical bird's eye view of Manhattan was enough for me. Staff experience was good. Breakfast options were great. Ambiance is what you expect of a Marriott. Great overall experience.

Modern Hotel. Quiet. The rooms are clean, average size. The first time lived on the 33 floor-audible noise from the road, namely Bibikane machines and sirens of different services. The second time took higher, on the 65 floor-cars were not heard.

Definitely a beautiful hotel with friendly staff and a great location only a few blocks from both Times Square and Central Park. The rooms are new and updated, though a little small compared to other Residence Inns in Manhattan, and beds are very comfortable. There is also a great shower in each room with special shower head. They have breakfast included each morning and happy hour specials in their lounge room. The only other thing to mention is that if you have a baby and need a crib they are pretty run down pack-and-plays that are offered. But other than that great spot for business or pleasure.

I love this hotel. I've stay here for both business and pleasure. The rooms are very comfortable, but most importantly the view from the corner rooms is phenomenal. Best view anywhere. For how busy this hotel was the staff was very accommodating. Service is a big deal for me and they were great. Above and beyond. The 3rd and 4th floors are available to sitting/relaxing as well so if your room isn't ready and you need a place to crash, that's your ticket. Great location. My wife and I hopped over to Central Park in the mornings for a run and in the evening caught a Broadway show less than a block away.

Had a great stay here and staff were very friendly and helpful. We both found something to eat at the breakfast buffet. Not bad fare considering it was free. Location was great and we were able to walk to most places we wanted to visit such as Central Park, Rockefeller Centre, Times Square, 5th Avenue, Macy's, Bryant Park etc. Room had great view and enough room for us for our short stay.

The hotel charged me 30 bucks per night resort fee for printing faxing scanning, luggage storage, using fitness center. This is the first hotel who charging resort fee for these stupid reasons. Almost every hotel I stayed charged me nothing for using fitness center printing services and also luggage storage! 3. When I checked in. I was waiting for 20 mins. Because of There were lots of visitors waiting in line for checking-in but there was only ONE staff in front desk with bad attitude. 4. I lost my iPhone Charger after I came back to the room at midnight. It was not expensive, but I went Apple Store at 2'o clock. Thanks the god the Apple Store at the fifth Ave. Is opening 24 hrs. Great hotel in the center of Central Park midtown and time square. Free complimantary breakfast. Stylish new rooms. Great service when checking in. Abdul is very nice at the front desk. He had me checked in within minutes. The view from my room was great. Prefect for short or long term stay.

My stay at the park central hotel was generally a good experience. We arrived early and they helped us check our bags which was very nice of them. We tried to check in early around 2/2:30 and when the room still wasn't ready, the staff was very helpful for providing us with free internet etc. Later, when the room was just about ready after waiting in line for a long period of time, the manager asked us if we minded someone else cutting in front of us. That was the one major issue we had with our stay, but to help us feel better about our long day of waiting, we were upgraded to a better room which was much appreciated. I heard that there were issues with the hotel staff being rude and the elevators being slow and not having enough of them, but I thought they were very friendly and the elevators were fine. This is a very nice and clean hotel. I'm very satisfied with the location and would definitely stay here again.

The proximity to everything is great, but it's outside the never-sleeps-always-populated-and-well-lit parts, so it wasn't very safe to walk back to late at night, which was a huge minus for me. The hotel itself was good.

Nice hotel and great location. I am from New York but moved out of state, so I like being close to everything when I return for my visits. This hotel is great for tourists; you will be around a lot of great attractions (i. E. Central Park, Time Square, Broadway shows, Late Night shows, etc. ), that you can walk to or take a cab, Uber, Lyft, etc. The hotel is a Residence Inn and Courtyard Marriott combined; I stayed in the Residence Inn side and it was very nice, you get free breakfast (that is actually good), there are laundry machines onsite (can use coins or credit card) and a bistro (no room service you can order and pickup from the restaurant). My only complaint was the integrity of the linen on my bed (it had a several visible stains that housekeeping appeared to not be able to washout, and what was being used as a comforter was very old/washed out, and was under a top sheet) for a hotel of that caliber and pricing I personally feel they should have been replaced. In addition my toilet was not cleaned thoroughly. Sadly I have stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels (all hotels for that matter) and housekeeping is a touch and go in general, in terms of housekeeping staff cutting corners. The rest of the hotel appeared to be very clean and I overall had a great stay at a conveniently located beautiful hotel.

All of the front facing staff were very courteous and professional. The room on the 60th floor had an amazing view of Times Square.

Park Central Hotel is perfectly nice and a bit more reasonable than other hotels nearby. It's an easy walk to Times Square or Central Park, and very close to Carnegie Hall. It is an older hotel with some modern updates, but if you want super fancy amenities with full restaurant, etc, you should stay somewhere else. There is a bar on site with plenty of space for the guests of the hotel and people who wander in. The staff are friendly but not overly so. They aren't rude, but I'd say they are businesslike for the most part and want to be efficient. Overall for the price and location, this hotel is a decent choice.

This is by far the best hotel I've stayed in. We didn't have a single complain. Mega clean rooms, nice customer service. Comfy beds. I would totally recommend it. It's very centric as well. We were able to visit 1. Time square 2. Central Park. 3. Mcgees 4. Broadway etc just by walking a few minutes.

Good location for tourists, with clean fairly large rooms for Manhattan. Great views from the room I had on the 50th floor. Usual lacklustre breakfast as always at the Residence Inn, but it's an 'included' bite to eat, so not bad.

I am giving Park Central two stars because the head of housekeeping was the only person who offered to help when my coat was stolen. To be honest, what they told me could have been lies to begin with. I left my coat in the closet in my room and after leaving called an hour later to ask someone to retrieve it for me. Supposedly it was retrieved and then conveniently "lost. " Park Central reimbursed me for the lost coat, but even a cheap $30 H&M coat may have a lot of sentimental value to someone, like this coat did to me. Left SF with bad feelings, I wouldn't mind never returning. I hope that at least my coat ended up with one of the many homeless people in the city. It was probably sold off by some petty housekeeping thief though.

Every trip to America stay in this hotel. Room with panoramic Windows overlooking Broadway is something. Good location: the Central Park 10 minutes walk to the inside of the bathroom was a 15 minute walk. Near supermarket Wholefoods. The staff helps you with any problems and issues. A flexible system of discounts for regular customers.

Hotel was beautiful, especially lobby and bar/ lounge areas. Room was well kempt and clean. The bed was best described as the closest experience I will ever have to sleeping on a cloud. However, noise level at night was atrocious; neither myself or my husband slept well due to obnoxious nearby elevator "pings" and loud guests in adjacent rooms (with poor insulation or soundproofing). We understand that noise from traffic is inescapable in the city… so we expected some of that in the AM. Staff was courteous and friendly. Overall, I would give it a 3/5. I likely would have given a 4/5, or even 5/5, if I wasn't in such a sleep-deprived cranky state.

A hotel with business philosophy: the lobby looks like the entrance to an apartment building in New York, the common space is the 3 floor (refreshment Starbucks breakfast, available PC used as a commissary for the internet link), small but clean and functional rooms (Wi-Fi included) and with good views of the city. Prices are high but competitive. Great location for visiting the Big Apple. Recommended.

Met a friend who was visiting NY and I have to say I was very impressed. Staff was corteous and helpful and escorted me to an area I could wait in. Conveniently located to nearby restaurants and lounges.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. It was beautiful and the service and staff were absolutely delightful. The hotel is in a marvelous location — walking distance to Broadway shows — Central Park — fabulous restaurants — and shopping! We had three rooms for 8 nights and our guests were equally impressed. I have a trip coming up in October and have already booked my stay at the Park Central. I have found my new "home away from home" in NYC! Thanks again for a marvelous trip! So close to great. Location is fantastic. A few blocks south of Central Park, about four blocks from Times Square and close to 5th Avenue shopping. Rooms are nice but small, which is typical for New York City. Room was missing wash cloths and someone scheduled in room carpet cleaning for a holiday weekend. Would stay again.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Comfiest beds ever! Perfect location, right next to a subway stop and just before all of the madness of times square. I stay here every time I go to new York and am never disappointed. Would definitely recommend!

The room was brilliant and had an amazing view. The bathroom was very spacious and we were spoilt with a shower from heaven and a bath. It was one wedding day and the night before staff were very helpful and even gifted my (to be) wife sound champagne and a food platter. We would both recommend this hotel highly.

This is an unexpected find. Close to so much and the rates are fantastic. Rooms are on the small side, but not unusual for a hotel in Manhattan.

Great midtown location. Attententive staff. My husband and I always keep the DND on the door and they made sure to leave fresh towels hanging on the door for us anyway.

Just like pretty much every other Marriott hotel I've stayed at, this one was phenomenal. Awesome room, and actually bigger than what I was expecting. I've stayed in NYC once before at another Marriott, and this room is probably almost double the size (probably because the building is newer or more newly updated, as opposed to the other). I love the separate tub and shower — tub is big and deep, and the shower is big and actually shows you the temp of the water when you turn it on and adjust it! Loved it. Will definitely be staying here again when coming back to NYC. :)

Great location near Central Park, Times Square, and the Theater District. Clean rooms with modern furnishing. You can expect the rooms to be much smaller than a "normal" Residence Inn. Our room had a nice view of Central Park, but we can see a building being built which were eventually spoil this. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

Gorgeous scenery, great staff, excellent location, close to Times Square, very close, but also not particularly close. Can walk to anywhere, very convenient. The room was spacious and very clean, can see the whole city, the charming scenery. The room also has a window, if you don't like air-conditioning, can slightly open a window, nice!

Good marketing, worn-out corridors (looks like no face lift from end of 90 s) I ll bet this is low level 3star hotel not 4s … I was checked and pre-payed for corner executive room I came to hotel at 20:00 — at reception they were sorry that this room is not cleaned up yet! So they provided me with 2 bed room : — (otherwise I have to stay 45 minutes at reception… Wifi access did not work (room number and last name combination) on my Apple devices so I have to return again to reception for promo code… Not good service Noisy air condition. Good location. That's a plus At lift I met other complaing guest from Latin America… But maybe I am wrong … But this is my customer experience …

Rooms at Residence Inn is so great, from Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center even walking is stress-free. Breakfast selection is very broad. Modern room, very clean, lift soon. Recommend valet parking, it's easy.

As a platinum member I will never ever stay at this property. The manager was extremely unaccommodating with a simple baggage storage request. Never been more disappointed in this brand in my life. Do not give this property your business.

Spacious comfortable room for being in the city. Kitchenette has most everything you could need. Great breakfast and amenities. Great location.

Room is tiny. Bed is hard as a rock. Lights have a horrible set up. Need to put your card in the wall to turn on the power, which is a good idea to save energy, but I wasn't informed and had to fumbled around to find it. Nothing broken, nothing bad. Just not great.

Booked rooms at 101 dollars a night, cheaper turned out even than in the suburbs. Parking is not a bad one, a regular car sedan $60 or a jeep $70 per night.

Stayed on the 62fl, views are gorgeous; Kitchenette is very useful. Breakfast staff and room cleaners are extremely polite and helpful, but the front desk staff were cold. The location can't be beat, I would stay again.

Very good hotel. Room great (room in the southeast corner, floor 45-46) spectacular views of Broadway, midtown, times square. The staff is very nice. The only problem we had was a day that failed two lifts (4 if I remember correctly) and it became an odyssey lowering of the floor of the breakfast to the reception, was always full.

Check in was very smooth. I like the vibe of the hotel retro mod look that is carried throughout the hotel into rooms. The bar/breakfast area fits in and works perfectly for its dual role. Overall a very nice hotel in a really great location. The location is the selling point for tourism and is conveniently located to everything.

While not cheap, the view on the park is absolutely breathtaking. There is free Wi-Fi, but be careful not to click the speed option unless you need it, there's no cancel button…

From the moment you walk in, it smells like lotions and it gives you such a nice feeling and relaxing thought. The location is perfect! Walking distance to the park, subway entrances at almost feet away, and located in the center of all the great things Manhattan has to offer; I would definitely return to Park Central Hotel. The price was very reasonable and the rooms were spectacular. Very modern, A/C heater worked perfect and the bed had the perfect firmness to it. I slept extremely well on it. The hotel staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable. It just doesn't get any better than this. Park Central Hotel was just plain perfect.

We've been there 10/14 and the location and building itself were great. The service and cleanliness were worst! Never would book again.

This hotel was in a stage of remodeling when I visited, and is quite lovely — I'm sure stunning by now if the construction is through. The room was spacious and modern, the bathroom had a standard bathtub but lots of lighting and updated fixtures throughout. There was some initial struggle checking in, as there was an influx of people and not all of the rooms were prepared, but the staff worked quickly and efficiently to get everyone sorted. The concierge at this hotel was an absolute gem, and helped us to make dinner reservations at a fantastic restaurant with a nice surprise included.

The room that we checked into was not only a mess, but it wasn't even cleaned. The sheets were unchanged, used drinking glasses in random areas, towels all over the ground, and there was garbage in the trash can. Also, all the soaps were previously used. We called into the front desk on three separate occasions, only to receive three different answers. We were told that someone was going to come up IMMEDIATELY to check on the room. Nobody came, and after waiting twenty minutes, we called again and was told to come down to get new cards. Immediately after hanging, we received a call that a bell boy was going to meet us at our current room with our new keys as if they were providing us with some excellent service. As you can expect, it didnt happen. So we took it upon ourselves to go downstairs and to get cards to a new room. When we came downstairs, we were told that the bellboy came upstairs to give us keys 20 minutes ago. Which is either a complete lie, or the bellboy got lost in finding our room at the hotel he was working at. All we received was an apology. I am never coming back to this hotel again.

This narrow tower was built recently, and its bottom is the Marriott Courtyard, while the upper-Marriott Residence Inn.
And since I love the height, then chose the Residence Inn. And not pity! I was lucky: 6501 got a room overlooking Central Park and with corner review adjacent streets. And this one kind of worth it, to spend time in this hotel! It is noteworthy that in the bathroom too, panoramic Windows, so you can literally sit on the toilet and look at Manhattan:) Don't worry, you have not seen outside the window, toned;)
Otherwise-standard rooms. A few are rather small, but for the view from the window and that you forgive.
Breakfast a bit disappointing (not the most varied menu and food is prepared are not the best way to experience the pleasure of breakfast here is unlikely to be, simply, the restaurant without emotions).
And here is the fitness club pleased! A good set of simulators, running 12:00 am and once again chic look in Manhattan!

We have been twice within a period of 2 weeks. The first time, on the wing this no problem. In the second, the West Wing, the room was smaller, looked at the window and you only saw bricks (not could know if it was night or day) and the noise of the air conditioners were so strong that you could not sleep.

Stay away from this hotel. There are no price/performance ratio! We're not the room type we (King size bed) booked, so we needed to in a room to stay 2 single beds for 2 nights. The bed sheets were dirty and we had hair in the bed. There is no service at all, and the staff is very unfriendly. 2 weeks after we were their free of charge you our credit card with $90 without giving reasons. Please stay! away.
