Great hotel in a truly amazing location ideal for all the things we wanted to, central park, times Square, Broadway, hop on off bus tours. To top it off super friendly staff who could not do too much to help. Thank you all for a wonderful trip that we won't forget ♥️♥️

Our experience was horrible … the receptionists do not explain anything about the amounts to be deducted at check-in and are discounting values ​​on my card until today (one week after checkout). Extremely expensive and offers you no comfort (for the price you pay).

No room service, restricted bar times (after 7pm only) and no restaurant. However great location, helpful staff, good sized rooms but could do with some towel and coat hooks in the room — especially at this time of year with all the coats we have and nowhere to put them!
I wouldn't stay here again though due to lack of amenities for guests.
The Terrace staff are great but it's too small for the size of the hotel. Serves a good breakfast (once you get a table) and early evening snacks. The daily facility fee is expensive though so try to get some value from it.

Really enjoyed staying at Westhouse. Location was great, service was excellent and terrace was superb. One thing was negative and that is the reason why we didn't stay again was the resident fee, which was way too high.

I had such an amazing experience with a Concierge who went far above and beyond that I will always seek to stay here. I have a large team of employees and can appreciate that Allie’s level of service is truly unheard of. I hope management reads these because this individual deserves a promotion or whatever she wants, hang onto her, she will create brand loyalty. Her name is Allie and she worked during my stay on 8/28 in front desk or Concierge.

Fantastically friendly and helpful staff. Self serve champagne. In the heart of Manhattan. What more could you ask for? Ps rooms are quite small. But that is expected in city centres.

Poor Customer Service, Absent Communication for reservation and billing. Communication breakdown from staff. Allergic reaction to sheets on the initial night and sheets had holes and rips on them. Stayed over a week for work and I wouldn't recommend for the service and quality of stay.

Nothing but great things to say about this hotel. I accidentally left my macbook in my hotel room as I was packing to leave and thought for sure I would never see it again, but the cleaning staff had taken it to lost and found after finding it. The staff were incredibly helpful when it came to locating it and sending it back to me. The place is clean and modern and well taken care of. Great complimentary breakfast as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Definitely gorgeous a small luxury hotel in the heart of midtown Manhattan. Walking distance to Central Park & Times Square. The manager is very friendly & sweet. Their staff are nice & very helpful. They have nice outdoor balcony.

The West House hotel provides an upscale stay for guests in midtown west. Note there is a resident fee per guest of roughly $50 for the amenities the hotel provides, this fee cannot be declined. Pros: Room was tidy and comfortably sized for being in NYC. The bathroom shower had a gap for turning on the shower without stepping in or grabbing your towel after finishing without needing to step out. The terrace level provides free drinks and food from 5-7pm each night and free breakfast each morning until 10:30am. Closet with safe, may be useful for international travelers. Cons: Thin walls, heard a baby crying in the middle of the night in the next room over. Terrace level seating not close to being large enough to comfortably accommodate all guests. Similarly, the front desk and elevators will experience longer wait times than what you might expect at a larger hotel chain due to how cramped the building is. 26 floors with roughly 12 rooms each floor.

Hotel service and amenities are generally great. We were upgraded to a suite overlooking Times Square, which was amazing. The front desk personnel were extremely friendly, as was the bar staff. Sadly the breakfast was somewhat disappointing. The butter was sour and the chicken sausage had an very odd texture. Also, although I recognise that many hotels do it in NYC, the "residence fee" and the manner in which it is presented is a total joke. Everything should be upfront, not cloak and daggers.

The staff was outstanding I will be recommend this place to everyone I know.

The Westhouse is by far the best hotel accommodations I've ever had when visiting NYC. To finally have a place that doesn't hold back on amenities, I felt pampered and stress free to be allowed free Wi-Fi, breakfast, wine, and spacious room with modern clean decor. Perfect location for heading out for my morning run in central park and of course everything else is within arms reach as well. The staff was always friendly, fast and competent. Thank you Westhouse for restoring my faith in luxury hotels at a reasonable price.

Best experience. Guest Service Manager Juan is awesome. Sharp dresser pretty good looking, very professional demeanor. He made sure I received the best treatment. 23 floor serving breakfast and dinner is awesome. The terrace can’t be beat. Just eat lounge and sit on the terrace with a glass of wine and just enjoy yourself. My first time staying here. Will definitely refer others. It’s a great location. Walking distance to the best shops! Evening are quiet so you will get a good nights sleep. Well kept clean updated rooms. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Breakfast, served on the 23rd floor, is varied and quality. Location phenomenal. Close to everything and with quick access to the underground (subway). I recommend eyes closed!

… was in this hotel with my family in 1995, then under a different name. My son has been living in Midtown for a year, just wanted to find the house on our visit this year, where we lived 23 years ago. WestHouse nous makes a very good impression!

This is definitely not a five-star restaurant, to have psychological preparation, the advantage is the location is good no word! Each person is charged 47 yuan/day surcharge, can use a simple breakfast, as well as a simple afternoon snack time.

This hotel, and every member of it’s staff, is exceptional. We stayed here to celebrate my wife’s birthday, our wedding anniversary and my birthday. The front office manager arranged Champaign, cakes and a superb room. The staff really do go that extra mile to make sure your stay is perfect and nothing is too much trouble. Complimentary drinks between 5pm and 7pm add that extra service that we did not expect. We thoroughly recommend this hotel and we will stay here again!

The view from the 25th floor out to see the Broadway sign and part of Times Square was the highlight of staying at this hotel for 3 weeks. The first room I was in, I got bit by something (convinced it was bed bugs) and alerted the hotel about it. They claimed they had a 3rd party company come in and inspect the room. As such, I had the hotel deep clean my clothes because I didn't want to chance bringing home any bed bugs at all. The day after this happened, the hotel notified me that the 3rd party company's report showed "negative" on bed bugs, and that they will pay up to 50% of the laundry they did. As I checked out, I wanted to see the report before I paid anything to verify that they actually did hire another company and the report did in fact result in "negative". The hotel management was super uncooperative. I had to speak to 4 different managers to even try and get the report emailed to me. I am now having to call them and speak to management for a fifth time because the manager I spoke to on the day of checkout told me they would "just reverse the charge of the $250" to my card. After speaking to management again, they MEANT to say they will only cover the 50% and not reverse the FULL amount. Also, the only hotel manager that actually knew what he was doing finally sent the report to me. However they were supposed to mean it, this situation was extremely frustrating, tiring, confusing, and honestly unprofessional.

Had a great stay. Breakfast and happy hour were great, and the staff was superb. Would definitely stay here again.

We were upgraded to this hotel for free by lottery process. We booked a double queen room at the Park Central Hotel, and when we checked in the lady told us we were selected to be upgraded. It was nice because our room at Park Central had no included breakfast or anything, and this room was inclusive of breakfast and "Light Dinner/drinks" We went only once to breakfast, and it was granola, fruit, pastries, croissants, and yogurt. I think the next day it was hot — maybe scrambled eggs and sausage or something because I saw the heated servers sitting on the counter after. We also only made it to dinner once and they were offering breads with sliced meats, salad with mozzarella and tomatoes, different wines and champagnes, and two types of beer… Stella Artois and I think an IPA. Overall the hotel was nice, the staff was great. Negatives: 1) I thought it a bit strange there was no room service 2) our sink only ran HOT and COLD. There was no in-between. 3) Some of the details of the room made it look like it was cheaply done. One of the outlets barely fit our cords (took two of us several minutes each to finally get the plug to fit), One of the outlets was completely hanging out of the wall, and there were some other details that I noticed where it looked like bad workmanship by the workers putting the rooms together. Overall I am very happy with our stay given the free upgrade.

Location is excellent and the rooms were very clean. The bed linens were like new and the pillows are comfy. The mattress is pretty good. Hotel staff are curteous and very attentive. Minor issue with thermostat. You can change temperature but not whether it's heating or cooling. My room was slightly warmer than I'd like in the winter and the only way I could lower the temperature was too turn it off and crack a window. Setting thermostat to 65 never cooled room. Overall great experience I highly recommend.

The room is a lot smaller than what was pictured for my specific room. Other than that, the views are great and the room is comfortable. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They also surprise you with a 45 dollar per night, per person fee, so be careful when booking to make sure you can afford it.

From the time we checked in we are still staying here for four days the staff is amazing polite courteous the housekeeping staff is great they deliver everything you want fast get everything you need fast I would highly recommend this hotel very boutique.

The room gets too hot at night if the heat is on, and cannot make it colder with thermostat. Terrace is nice. Bathroom is small, but room is nice.

We have been long time returning customer at westhouse. We see the service and quality of rooms declining!. First you ask and pay for a king bed, and you get twin bed stuck together instead, but they charge for king … okay. Then we arrive in the rooms the windows are dirty and we can barely see outside. Okay. It can happen. But you can't charge crazy prices, and offer this kind of rooms. If you want to play in the big leagues, you need to step up. Paying 1000$ for room and feeling like a Holiday in type of room!. The location is great … the staff is great… the rooms are a nice size… but they need to step up for the quality of the rooms. Rate are going down. Sorry, I dont know if I will be back.

Love the Terrace roofdeck! I could have sat out there for hours taking in the view. Very clean hotel. Nice rooms. Great happy hour from 5 to 7. Hotel charges a $48 per person per night residency fee which I knew about ahead of time. Only negative is that the temperature controls n the rooms don't really work. My room became pretty hot during the night even though it was set on 65 (lowest it goes). You don't have the option between air conditioner/ heat. Overall a very nice hotel. But this one drawback might have an impact on if I would stay there again since I have trouble sleeping in a warm room. Otherwise I'd give a 5 star rating.

When we checked in, the receptionist was kind of cocky and standoff-ish. We politely asked if the breakfast is complimentary, he responded with "there's nothing in life that's free. " It was an unnecessary way to answer a simple question. The room we stayed at on the 23rd floor was way too hot. I understand the building is older and uses the two pipe system. But we called twice to complain since it was unbearable to sleep. The staff finally gave us a floor fan. The breakfast selection was also very underwhelming. They only had croissants cold cuts and cheese. There's no scrambled eggs or sausages. I don't think we will return.

This hotel is in a fab location and rooms are great. However, it has lost its luster. It used to be so special and the extra charge was of great value for money… disappointing this time. It has lost that extra attention to detail and joined the world of regular NY hotels. Pity. On the hunt for a new special hotel in the big apple if anyone has any suggestions.

Breakfast would be poor even for a best western, had it once and it was awful. So many good breakfast options around the area though. Gym is reasonably good. Room seemed fine though very little natural light through the windows in rooms that face the internal well (room 2020)

I think the location and quality of this hotel was very good. The beds were very comfortable. The manadatory residence fee is my one and only complaint. It may be a deal breaker for me ever staying here again. They charge 90 bucks USD per day for two adults which is supposed to include breakfast, a light evening meal and a happy hour for drinks. The food selection is terrible, both in variety and in quality. It is really not worth the cost. We stayed here for three days and by the third day we didn't even want to check out what they had because we were so disappointed.

The hotel is beautiful, but I did not know of the "mandatory" $45/day, that included breakfast and Wi-Fi. I am not sure how ethical it is to tell people of this mandatory charge, once they have prepaid online, and are at the desk checking in. The gentleman at the reception was a bit rude about it. Today, I called the reception to find out how I could print a document. The lady told me that I could use a hotel laptop on the 23rd floor to print documents, but could not use my own laptop and the hotel Wi-Fi to connect to the printer at the business centre. She told me to email my document to the front desk, but gave me the wrong email address. Four hours later, when I found out the email address was wrong, I was told that of course I could have used my own laptop in the business centre to connect to the hotel printer and they did not know why the person on the phone had told me that. When discussing this problem at the front desk, as I was ready to leave the hotel, the man at the reception was quite snotty, and asked me to wait for the manager. The manager was very helpful and finally printed my document. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are nice. But for the price, I expect friendlier staff and better service. The shower is incomplete without a handheld shower attached to the overhead one.

Awesome little hotel at a convenient location with breakfast and light dinner included and served on the 23rd floor. The Terrace is open until 8pm, so you can enjoy the views while having a glass of wine during dinner. Pricing is OK, rooms are nice with a good bathroom although the air conditioning and air circulation could be better — we had to open the window every day to get more fresh air in and the A/C was quite loud as the outside temperature was above 80F (+27C). Other than that no complaints and we very much enjoyed our stay here.

This is my first time staying at the WestHouse hotel. It came highly recommended by a family member who frequently stays here on trips to New York and I can see why. It's in a fantastic location being only a short walk from many major destinations. The rooms are very nice and kept well cleaned, and the whole building has a welcoming feeling to it.

This is a pretty hotel, with a nice staff and lovely, comfortable rooms. The manager is very accommodating and willing to work with you if you have a problem, which we had a lot of while we were there. The real issue is that it took the staff days to rectify these problems, which shouldn't happen at such a nice hotel. One of the room issues never did get resolved, which was definitely an annoyance during our trip. Lastly, I left an item at the hotel, and was told that housekeeping never throws anything away, yet my item never turned up in lost and found. Hmm… that seems to leave only one conclusion, doesn't it? Also, a pair of my step-father's pajamas were taken from my parents' room when housekeeping changed out the bed sheets, and he never got those back, either. Nice hotel, but apparently not nice enough for the housekeeping staff, as they like to hold onto things they find in the rooms. Also, there was no tub in our room, and as this hotel doesn't have a pool/hot tub area, it was hard to unwind after a long day of walking around NYC in the cold.

I loved our night at the West House Hotel New York Hotel. It was New Years, we were celebrating the night at West House Hotel New York, 201 and found this hotel nice and close. It is so charming! Everything was clean, the service very friendly, and the historic ambiance was adorable. The rooms are small and the hallways tight but that is just part of the experience. I cant say I would have wanted to stay for a long period of time here, but for our one night it was perfect!

Front desk was told we are checking out at 11 pm. Never have I been asked this. I bet they will try to clean room and sell it again! Which is against the law… All I'm using room for is to sleep from 2pm till 11 so don't know much about hotel. Pretty snotty at front desk until I called travel agent and they magically found rooms ready! Oh and $250 a night and you think they would at least use fitted sheets. Nope they put flat sheet down so when you remove the covers it all unfolds under mattress.

Absolutely the best hotel I've stayed at! I won't ever stay anywhere else in NYC again! Impeccable service from all the staff! The breakfast and high tea on the 23rd floor terrace were delicious and the cocktail hour complete with dinner was amazing. My room was beautiful too! Loved every minute of my stay and can't wait to come back to my new favorite hotel!

WestHouse was a fantastic experience for my family and I, thanks to the upscale and luxurious space that it offered, the exceptional staff, and the location close to Central Park and so much more. I would rebook at this hotel in, as they say, a New York minute. The only warning I would give is that the hotel charges a residence fee per person which covers the cost of eating and drinking within the hotel. It's a bit pricey, but well worth it and includes snacks and breakfast on their Terrace balcony.

Total rip off. I stayed here few nights with my wife. They charged us $80 a night "resort fee" Are you kidding me? That is for breakfast which I never ate and a drink which I never had. I prefer to eat outside the hotel. I tried to speak to the front desk person and she would not budge. I said at least charge me $40 a night because that is how much they charge per person. Imagine if you have four kids that would be $240 a night for "resort fee". I am disputing this charge on my credit card and not getting close this hotel. And it is not a 5 star hotel, it is 4 star at best.

It was our first time staying at this property. I would highly recommend it. Our check in was great, accommodations were amazing, staff go out of their way to help & location was fantastic. We were pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included & tea & buffet dinner as well. Can't wait to return.

Had a great stay at the WestHouse it was beyond my expectations. The staff were all very helpful, the room was clean, modern and had a great view of Times Square and the bed was very comfortable.

Warm atmosphere, very attentive staff. I was able to meet the manager and the Lobby since he was there meeting and greeting guests.

I went to the WestHouse last year to see the Friends 20th anniversary Central Perk and it was the best vacation I've ever had and probably ever will have. The staff was so polite and kind to us and we loved the terrace where free food was provided (we didn't eat anywhere else during our trip). My favorite part was the location, since its in midtown, at 10PM we went to times square and walked around. This was a vacation I will never forget and I hope to return soon:)

This was our second stay at The Westhouse and we have been very happy both times. I hesitate to give it 5 stars because I Hate artificial fragrances forced on me. With that said I willingly came back again because of the service and the amenities. We stayed there almost a year ago and when we arrived in this trip the bellman, front desk attendant and the housekeeper remembered us. The rooms are comfortable, large enough, and well appointed. The morning breakfast was greatly improved on this trip with a full breakfast instead of the cold breakfast of our last trip. (Which was far better than many lesser hotel's full breakfast) We did miss the lovely charcuterie, pâtè, fine cheeses, pickles and quince paste that were served at happy hour on our first trip. The location is great, the rooms quiet and comfortable, the service attentive and the amenities add great value. I highly recommend Edward T. ct.

Had THE BEST experience! I've traveled a lot and have stayed at many hotels in my life and this was the best experience we've ever had at one. We stayed there 4 months ago now, and my husband and I still talk about it. The location is absolutely ideal. Oh and the amazing signature smell throughout the lobby. My goodness it is heaven! The staff were all beyond accommodating as well. Will DEFINITELY be back.

This is the best Hotel I been, and the biggest surprise was the price. away to much what we did expect, the make me feel like a king. the room was amazing, never expect to have a balcony, all the rooms has door. like an apartment. The aura hug you to feel save, and the station right below the building, very good breakfast free. definitive will go again.

Westhouse was an amazing stay. All staff was incredibly helpful, attentive and hospitable. The view from the Times Square Room were fantastic. The bed literally felt like I was laying in a cloud of pillows. I'll never forget the feeling of being draped in their signature robes monogrammed slippers falling in to that amazing bed. The cleanliness and impeccable attention to comfort made my anniversary trip an experience that I will never forget. Oh, and the champaign chocolate covered strawberries with our turn down service was more than a delightful touch. Thank you westhouse!

Love the atmosphere in the hotel. The Decker was nice and it event smelled nice on there. The main reason I went there was to see the musical group Acute Infections perform in the lounge, they play there on Wednesdays. The service in the lounge was great, and the music was amazing. Lounge is conveniently located off the lobby steps from the front door.

The service, food, location and open bar (wine and beer) was a huge plus in an area where 2 glasses will certainly cost you more than the $35 you pay. Will definitely stay again.

I'm currently staying at the WestHouse; tonight was night one of a three night stay. Our room, although clean, is incredibly hot. The AC unit is not working. I call down to the desk and they say they'll send someone up. No one comes up. I call again. They again say someone will be up. Nothing. I call a third time and they tell me that this is a running problem at their hotel because they only have two pipes and have switched from AC to heat at this time of year. I ask to speak to the manager and they tell me that the manager has gone home but that they can "send a fan up. " I ask them to call the manager; they attempt to do so multiple times and say they cannot reach them. I ask to switch rooms or upgrade and they say that they're at 100% capacity. Again, this is supposedly a FIVE STAR HOTEL and they tell me that they are SENDING A FAN UP! The fan still isn't here, by the way. I'm appalled at this hotel at the moment.

Worst experience possible. Traveled 24 hours from Australia, had 4 rooms booked and upon arrival we are told there have some issues and there is no rooms available. They split up our group into 3 different hotel miles apart in NY. Staff had no idea and were no help, there were other customers told the same thing as us upon check in and were told to go elsewhere. Now two months after they are still taking money off my credit card even though we didn't stay there… that's fraud. The hotel is a disgrace.

I stayed in August. I paid for a room that was not the cheapest on the menu. My room was attached to another room with set of doors. The next door guests were bunch of very loud girls. I could hear every word. I mentioned that to the hotel guest service and reception and was brushed off. At 1am-5am those girls were having party! I got absolutely NO SLEEP. I complained multiple times including at 1 am and 2 am etc. Nothing was done! They said that they will send security over but to no avail. The customer service is simply not there. Breakfast was very simple and self-serve on paper plates and coffee in paper cups — so much for 5* with the amenity surcharge! The front desk told me that my extra fees will be waived. Guess what they were not! Also, I spent an hour trying to connect to the internet without success. If you are looking for true 5* experience stay away — this is not a hotel for you.

This review is overdue by a week yet I couldn't stop thinking about the amazing experience I had during my stay. First; I would like to highlight the fact that traveling as a single mother of an 11-yr old boy is a bit challenging and furthermore when my son had had a rough trip into NY. Nathan wasn't other than AMAZING and caring, him and the front desk staff gave him a refreshment and made our check in a smooth one; from coordinating lunch-delivery to having a taxi ready for our 7PM play their superior service is one to highlight. To also mention the hotel's amenities I enjoyed the fact breakfast, tea-time snacks and the bar were perfectly appointed and a touch of class to the experience. From the delicate displays to the gourmet flavors, the hotel is a perfect 10 for one's escape to the big city. I also would like to commend Moe for his referral to a great steak house; especially my son loved the restaurant. I would go on and on yet I don't want to sound redundant with compliments. I do want to also commend WestHouse's owners/corporate office for a job-well-done with regards to the superb expertise with their talent acquisition. Every staff member seemed to be the perfect match for their duty and were eager to assist in every aspect of the stay. I would also like to commend the work of the front desk manager/guest relationship manager for her diligent assistance with a lost article.

Terrible customer service. Never bring anything up to the room when asked and was told that they will bring simple items up such as towels. Breakfast is very shitty.

If I could give a zero star to this one, I would! Not because the hotel was bad; but because of false advertisement! Nothing about this hotel is five star! If someone is happy with this hotel, it means to me that they have not experienced a true five-star hotel and/or a five star customer service. This is at best a 3.5 star hotel with nice amenities and at a very nice location. They charge you a fee for amenities, which I think is fair and with that comes decent food (e. G. Breakfast, afternoon tea, cookies, and evening appetizers as well as wine and beer). When it comes to customer service or any other standard (e. G. Cleanliness) of a 5-star hotel they lack significantly. I reserved this hotel through Priceline for two nights! I should have known better that a five star hotel at such prime location in NYC cannot be as low as $300/night. The hotel is advertised as a five start on Priceline. On the night that we were driving to NYC we hit an awful storm. Our travel was delayed and with warnings and having our one year old daughter in our car we decided to pull over to assure safety. Making our adventurous storm story short, we got to NYC one day late and lost the first night of our hotel reservation. While we were awaiting the passing of the storm (1am), I was on the phone with Priceline and the hotel to see if they can give me a credit for the first night or extend my trip for an extra night with the funds that I have already paid them.

Rooms have delightfully modern decor, and spacious. Lavishly comfortable bed and great service. 23rd floor offfers breakfast, drinks, snacks and coffee. Definitely recommend for your New York Visit.

Me and my family stayed in this hotel right after its reopening and we were all amazed by how beautiful and modern it is and how well we were treated. Yes the rooms were small and the bathrooms even smaller but the design of things make up for it. Everything occupies a propper space and the furniture/linens make the rooms very luxurious. Extremely comfortable bed, btw. About the food and drinks, I do not understand why people complain! Are you aware you are in Manhattan? Any food you have is extremely expensive! And to justify even more the 30$ fee, the breakfast had only amazing ingredients and was marked by quality. I will never hide my shock when I had champagne and cheeses every day during happy hour in an amazing environment with caring servers. Not to mention the selection of wines, beers and charcuterie (I know right! ). A really good deal for people like me who appreciate the good life of food and drinks! I will be looking forward to staying there again.

Only good things to say! The lobby is beautiful, the staff, from the front desk to the room attendants, are all very friendly and professional. We knew beforehand about the "guest fee" from other reviews, so we were prepared for it. Drinking a couple of glasses of champagne in the lobby more than covers that! Add on a nice breakfast and the fee more than pays for itself. (We had champagne at the Waldorf yesterday which was $27 a glass! ) The bed is sooo comfortable and the rooms small but nice. The only thing I can say about the room is I wish there were black out shades! I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing hotel. One of the best in NY.

Hotel is beautiful and new, location is great and amenities of breakfast and cocktails are very nice. HOWEVER, if you booked through PRICELINE this is not disclosed until you check in, so a "good" deal is not such a good deal when the hotel adds $60/ day to the daily rate. In addition to the prepaid Priceline rate of $295, there is a charge of $30 per day per person so for 2-people the total cost is $355/ night — higher than rack rate. For a 3 night stay, that added $180 to the bill. We probably would have paid the $30 if offered the option, but this is an ugly surprise. Shame on Priceline for not disclosing; shame on the hotel for not providing an option to opt in or opt out.

This is a very special hotel in Uptown Manhattan. It is about 5 minutes walk from either Central Park or Times Square and right in the heart of Theatre land. The staff are extremely attentive and welcoming in that way that only Americans know how to do. The rooms are really comfortable although if there was one tiny criticism they don't provide a kettle in the room, but to be honest, if you are in New York, why would you want to be in your room? The 23rd Floor Terrace is particularly nice to go and sit out on with a cocktail and enjoy the views of the city.

Love this hotel. It's got a European feel and beautiful design. The $30 pp hotel fee is posted everywhere so shame on you for not reading. And you get free wine and beer, breakfast hors d'ouvres and cookies at night. A lovely espresso machine too, and I promise you'll spend more if you leave the hotel. Overall great vibe and the staff is lovely. I can't say enough good things about this hotel, a hidden gem in NYC with prime location. Will definitely be back.

We've booked this hotel with Expedia and we we're surprised by the $30/person/day fees they announced to us at the check in (to cover the breakfast and some other drinks and food. ). The bedroom was OK even if out smells the humidity and some work has not been finished apparently.
