Great atmosphere and views.

Stayed for our anniversary weekend. Hotel and staff were great. However we then had to wait almost half hour for our car. Ok. Things get busy but about half doz people after us got their cars before ours. Cherry on top was the candy wrappers that were thrown in the car THAT WERE NOT FROM US! Really?!?! Totally ridiculous and annoying. Be aware.

Poor experience, had a room with no daylight and loud industrial fans keeping me awake at night, they were loud and kept turning on and off creating a loud start up noise. I reported this issue to reception and they did nothing to help, just kept telling me to come back the next day. We weren’t informed about the service charge, and actually didn’t use any of the services as we weren’t told about them. Plus the Wi-Fi didn’t even work in our room. They’ve taken this charge out of the card I used for my deposit and also put mini bar expenses on top, we didn’t even have anything out of the minibar! Good location, clean rooms, poor customer service experience constantly put on hold or don’t reply to numerous emails.

We had a great visit on July 14-16, 2019. The locate is great! You are near several restaurants and Central Park. We walked to 42nd street to hear my son performance in a reading titled Brother Nat! I highly recommend Dream Midtown! The staff was great and accommodating including front desk, house cleaning! Thank you!

I went to the dream midtown spot for a meet up. It was very chic and had amazing views. The fries were a bit on the salty side but the dip was amazing. The pretzel bites were on point. The drinks were perfect and overall had an amazing time! Thank you.

One of my favorites. Amazing bed, great service, free full pass to crunch fitness next door (5 star gym) great bar and restaurant perfect location. Elevator slow and cards demagnet easy.

Only visited the rooftop bar was small and drinks are pricey but good. The view and atmosphere was very good. The staff was great.

It was alright. Drink was fine. Only one bathroom, so I felt rushed. A group of attractive women came in so the bartender was too busy flirting with them to see 8 was trying to get the check for like half an hour.

Nice hotel, very well located. The rooms are new, nicely furnished and very clean. The hotel is a bit noisy, they should noice prove the rooms since is not easy to sleep later than 8 am. The staff is really friendly and attentive.

Kinda trashy. Room was weird and the decor extremely strange, almost sex dungeon like. Room was odd, old and felt a little dirty. The hotel lifts are shared with none hotel guests going to the roof bar which means you have to integrate with any drunk idiots. Pros are location and air con. I’ve visited NYC 10+ times and wouldn’t stay here again.

Nice rooftop given all the other options in midtown, staff was very accommodating in seating us especially when a group with reserved tables overstayed their time.

Cute rooms, though they are a little on the small side, the elevators are pretty awful, and a glass of mediocre white wine was $17. I understand that it’s NYC but that’s outrageous for a glass of wine that probably cost $10 a bottle.

Always a reliable pre/post theater eatery. The pizza is excellent. They close late but they rush you a little toward closing time.

Our hotel concierge recommended this restaurant to us as we were heading out for supper and we were so glad he did. We enjoyed the atmosphere as much as the food. Good sized portions and delicious food. We all thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Serafina's!

Dream midtown what can I say, the rooms aren't bad, the shower was excellent, as for the four stars id say its more a 3 star hotel personally at dream midtown they are more interested in the patrons of the nightclub on the 13th floor than the hotels guest. good location to be fair, close to the park and times square.

I highly recommend this hotel! The rooms were clean and the staff remember you. They always serviced us well and helped us problem solve when we needed. We noticed that other hotels around the area also highly recommend the rooftop bar here because we talked to someone who pointed us back to this place, calling it a "really beautiful rooftop bar" while gesturing kisses with his fingers to his lip. Haha, he didn't know we were already staying there. That says a lot to me, in my opinion.

Check in wasn’t great. Don’t plan to be there a minute before 3 and get to your room. No amenities in room — room was clean, comfortable otherwise. Not up to quality I like in that price range — but it’s location is superior.

Very nice place. The hotel is a party hotel. There is a rooftop bar that has 3 levels with different environments. A bar on the basement with a speak-easy vibe and a huge fish tank. The room was small but nice. The bathroom is a bit cold specially with no shower curtain or door. Hot water and shower pressure were very good. Clean comfortable bed. The best was the staff attitude during check in and check out. We forgot a jacket at the lobby and when we called 6 hrs later we were happy to find out a doorman had recovered it and placed it in storage. Dealing with the attendant at the phone was frustrating because she put little effort in looking or asking about the jacket, but, once we asked for the general manager things got done.

The Hotel was great with comfortable beds and very clean rooms. I was there for an interview and the ironing board and iron worked well and were clean so I didn't need to worry about my clothes. Even staying on the first floor, the room was also quiet which is rare.

If you want to party in midtown, just go there :-)

Booked 6 months in advance and got a great rate of under 200. Lobby is beautiful, front desk help inviting. Location is absolutely perfect. You can walk to Central Park, Times Square, museums and there are multiple subway options within a few blocks. Too many food options as well. Yes, the elevators are a bit slow but REALLY? If that ruins your stay I'm sure you would find something else to complain about. Rooms are small but not cramped. Our bed was comfy. Only minor issues was we had to crank up the heat to 78 to feel warm, but it was very cold outside, and the shower lent itself to water on the floor. Also no coffee in room or in the lobby. I'm not paying room service prices for coffee. Only got room service once but it was tasty. A diner across the street has a hearty breakfast and there is plenty of coffee choices nearby. Would I stay again? If I got the same deal I would.

Very good location: Times Square and Central Park within walking distance, metro station on the corner, has small but comfortable and clean rooms. Fantastic terrace with a lounge bar, games room, bar in the lobby suitable for aperitifs. Weekends make great parties on the top floor. A really nice hotel especially suitable for young people. The staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming. I would recommend it. My partner and I spent a fantastic week in spite of the bad weather.

We stay at this hotel when in NYC. Really great location in Theatre district. Here there are not so many restaurants like in Soho, but still you can find a couple of good ones. You can walk to Central Park (5 min walk) and 5th avenue (10 min walk) or use subway to get all other locations (there are many lines on Columbus circle. A real hub). It’s near the 42nd st. But not so crowded. There is a rooftop bar at the hotel with a Time Square view. We’re really enjoyed the stay at this hotel.

The 15th floor private event space was gorgeous. I loved the outdoor terrace with heaters overlooking Times Square. Service was attentive. Food was delicious and plentiful. I would recommend this space to anyone looking for a private event location.

The room itself was clean, if sparse. No coffee machine or kettle in room, and no coffee in the lobby. The only place suggested is at the attached restaurant where it’s $5+. Staff on reception not overly helpful, and tried to charge for mini bar items that weren’t even in the fridge to begin with. Three small elevators, one of which is cordoned off for the nightclub and hotel guests aren’t allowed to take when the bar is open. Basically, the clubs are the main focus of the property, not the hotel guests, and considering the cost of a room, that’s lousy.

I attended my company's holiday party here, at the Fishbowl bar downstairs. The food was good, and abundant. The bar was well stocked and I was served reasonably quickly every time despite a large crowd. The games were a ton of fun. They have a small bowling alley, ski ball, and tabletop classic arcade cabinets that have an array of games. I spent a fair amount of time playing Pac-Man, dig dug, and Frogger. The sound system was good and the dance floor clean. I would recommend this place for corporate events.

A friend and I went to celebrate my 25th birthday at the PHD terrace. Our waitress was pleasant and quite helpful the entire time. A few hours passed by and a couple more people joined us. They were accommodated as well. The view of the city was priceless. I would definitely go back again.

Absolutely fantastic staff that go above and beyond. It’s our honeymoon and the travel agents had messed up, but the hotel staff sorted us the room that was meant to be from the beginning and a lovely note and bottle of red wine to congratulate us. You mad us feel so much better for a problem that was not yours to sort. Micheal who dealt with us tonight was lovely and like nothing was to much. Adrian is a credit to the company also, he’s friendly, polite and helped us from day one. Thank you all so much for making our honeymoon so much better xx.

Boutique Hotel on West 55th Street right at the cusp of the Theater District. Serafina restaurant is right next door. It is a little less then the large hotels and a bit more cozy. Excellent for a family with young children. Nearby you will find Carnegie Hall, City Center, and Central Park. Many restaurants in the area. Several Subway and bus access. Cute Hotel at a great location.

Great place, everyone was helpful and courteous. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the elevator situation. Have to wait a LONG time for one at certain times of the day.

The room was small and the front desk told me "this is New York". I am not sure if that statement should comfort me or not. Good location. The rooftop bar is nice.

Great amenities, wonderful room, but two complaints. I booked the Platinum Suite for our anniversary, which appears to be one of their best, if not their actual best, rooms as the name implies, but our room was on the second floor so barely any view. Also, we checked in at 9pm. At 11pm when we were going out for the night I asked the front desk staff if I child have a late checkout (says online they grant them upon request). The gentleman told us we had until 1:30-2 pm the next afternoon and told him in response, "thank you, I think we'll be out by 1, but this covers us well". At 12pm we started to get ready to leave, planning on leaving right at 1. At 12:15pm we received a phone call from the front desk which my wife answered, that went pretty much like this, "uh did you know checkout is at noon, " and my wife explained that the prison we spoke with the night before gave us until 1:30/2. She said that she had seen the notes on their system but that it said we only got until 12:30. After much back and forth she finally gave us until 1pm, saying if we stayed much later we would be charged for half a nights cost. We weren't totally ready at 1 so we had to call back down and ask if we child have 15 more minutes which she relented to. I get it if you only do late checkouts until a certain time, or if you don't at all, but don't tell me, a paying customer, a certain time and then rescind that offer, especially without informing the guests.

Dear Joey Morales Congrats on reaching the heights of "Assistant Front Office Manager! " You are one extremely rude, obnoxious and rather impressed with yourself kind of guy. The next time you say to a Guest, "If you can't afford to pay the room deposit, then don't stay here! ", make it the last time. What a POOR selection of mindless words from someone who should be setting an example for the other staff you are in charge of while Felipe Munoz (Director of Front Office) isn't working. Thank you Felipe for making our stay much more pleasant than unfortunately the poor, DEGRADING and extremely embarrassing service we had received from Joey. The hotel is great, the rooms are definitely small but we have been out and about all day so not really an issue for us. The location is on point and right in the middle of where we wanted to be. The staff other than Joey have been very helpful and prompt which is what you expect with the amount of money I'm paying to stay here. I'd just suggest you make better use of the space where the mini bar is, more storage space would work much better. It's a shame because of my check in experience that I couldn't give the hotel "5" star, but nobody deserves to be treated the way I was especially in front of my son (9) and other guests. As someone who travels the world every year, I never been spoken to like this and hope to never encounter it again.

Attended a private party at the PHD Terrace located on the Penthouse level of the Dream Midtown Hotel. The entry process was quick and easy which is not always the case with rooftop bars in NYC. The management and service was very good and everyone was kind and helpful. The views are good but not spectacular though the food and cocktails surpassed expectations. I will definitely return to the Dream Midtown Hotel!

Great rooftop and terrace area, mixed drinks are a little pricey but that's to be expected at Midtown rooftop bars so no complaints. Reserving a table might be a better option because the place gets packed on late nights. Great music and atmosphere.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. They were very nice to welcome us, but after that we were less than impressed. We had called ahead of time to set up a late check-out and then when we checked out at 3pm they charged us an extra 100 us even after acknowledging that we asked for late check-out. They refused to cancel the charge no matter what and then did not assist with bringing down our luggage or helping in any way. Very different from our arrival.

It's location is perfect if you want to stay in Midtown or if it's your 1st trip to NYC and you want to get the big city vibes. Full and queen rooms are too small but they are perfectly clean. The staff is kind and helpful and overall, I would gladly stay there again.

Don't be suckered into going here over hotels just feet away such as the Westhouse or Park Central. Not worth any price difference. The accomodations are average, the lobby is tiny and crowded. Sleeping on upper floors is sometimes tough due to loud drunken parties in their penthouse They have no work spaces for buisness clients. They only run two elevators and one is routinely broken. Three times in three days I waited longer than 30 minutes for an elevator to or from the 11th floor. Had large cases and couldnt take the stairs. I requested a late check out to take a shower AND had a do not disturb sign on the door and was walked in on, without a knock, by a goon to check my mini bar. Despite being surprised and half-dressed, the man stayed in my room trying to ask me questions. Didn’t make me feel very safe. Again, despite a late checkout of 1 p. M. Maid got me out of the shower again by knocking on my door at 12.30. Then I was an hour late to the airport to leave when I asked them to get me a cab at checkout. They said it would take 15 minutes. I came back 15 minutes later and they said it would be 15 minutes… it took an hour. The staff tried to be polite (other than the mini bar goon), but it fell very flat. We were checking this place out to see if we would send our staff and faculty there, we came to the conclusion that we wouldn't do that or recommend Dream Hotels to any travel providers or tour operators.

Small but modern and clean rooms. Helpful staff and excellent restaurant right below. The terrace and club it's attached to seemed pretty rowdy when we arrived but not unreasonable and the room we were in was fairly quiet. Most noise came because we were right next to the elevators. There's some truth that they're a bit slow but nothing deal breaking. The elevators are quite small though. Didn't get a chance to try the terrace but they did give hotel guests some kind of special treatment which was nice. Best last minute deal I could find for this weekend and I would definitely repeat. It's location is excellent if midtown is where you want to be.

The Dream Midtown was perfect! I was there last summer for 8 nights with my mother and daughter. First and foremost, the people are all friendly, extremely helpful and kind — over the course of our stay we interacted with many different people and EVERYONE was great. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Because of our schedule (my daughter was there for dance) we took advantage of the restaurant several nights and the food and service was wonderful every time. The location was ideal for us. The Dream Midtown was fantastic! Next time we go to NYC we will definitely be staying there.

We stayed here on a Saturday night and loved it! The bed and pillows are delightfully soft. I guess that's why it is called Dream! The rooftop bar was VERY crowded and loud at night, but you can get right up there as a hotel guest. I'd suggest going during the day or during dinner if you don't want the club feel. All workers were nice and courteous. They also held our bag after check-out to explore the city some more! Also… GREAT location,

Rooms smell like the cigarettes of 100 years of smoking. Asked for a different room and they said it would be sprayed? $65 for valet parking, expected for the area. Let a key for my wife at reception, 35 minutes later reception claims there is no key under her name made her wait until I arrived, then pulled the key out to give to her. Minor misunderstanding but highly annoying. Sink in the bathroom. Sprays water everywhere but in the sink. There is a holiday inn three blocks away that I'd have been more excited about. "Boutique Hotel" = paint job, new bathroom fixtures. Stay away from here.

Perfect location, we had a little problem with first night room. But they very quickly made a solution. All the crew were wonderful. And finally they have an amazing Terrace. Good job guys you have good hotel. Free Wi-Fi is enough speed to find something on the Internet. :)

Intolerable construction going on outside all night. Loud, worn out, and tiny rooms, terrible service. I stay in a hotel about 100 nights a year, and I have not had an experience this bad in a very long time. Don't let Dream ruin your time in NYC. It's basically a hostel. The room is a closet — tiny even by NYC standards. Maid service did not come two of the three days I stayed. Windows and walls are thin and you can hear construction, trucks, and people on the street all night. They do not have blackout curtains and it is impossible to get the rooms dark with the light from the street. When I asked for earplugs the front desk said they would bring them to my room and never arrived. They can take up to 20 minutes to refill the coffee in the lobby. When I told the front desk about my experience upon checkout they did nothing and then double charged me for parking. Only a matter of time until this place goes belly-up! Don't let Dream ruin your time in NYC.

Rooms are nice and comfortable (though small). However, the noise is unbearable on the weekends. I don't just mean the street noise, but the other guests would blast music and smoke in their rooms. The noise from the rooftop bar went on until 3am on Friday night. If you're with a family or prefer to sleep at night and enjoy the days in the city, look elsewhere. If you're looking to party all night, then this is probably the place for you… I probabky wouldn't stay here again through.

Friendly and helpfull staff. The first night we arrived our room's carpeting was wet beside the bed. The front desk switched us immediately to a new room. Free Wi-Fi was included. Our new room faced 55th Street and the outdoor noise was horrible all night (we stayed for 4 nights). There were loud banging sounds from what sounded like trucks, generators and compressors, it sounded like a construction site all night long. Room was clean. Turn down service was missed one night and our bar fridge wasn't restocked after we used our water the first night for our entire stay. We had to call down for more water. The hotel is in a great location, especially if you want to be close to the theatres. We were happy with the nearby restaurants and shopping as well. I would stay there again but I would ask for a room away from the street.

Price/performance super! Location: Tip! 10 minutes from Times Square, 10 minutes from Central Park! Clean, staff friendly! Lift you don't have, so, take a Moment, since, apparently, a Club is at the top. Hotel bar is rather expensive, but there are enough Alternatives!

I loved it, very well situated, rather small rooms, but just goes to sleep.
