Everyone was so friendly and yet very professional. Christian was so attentive to details while demonstrating genuine hospitality and desire to make our experience the best possible. Thank you Christian for going that extra mile not just for us but for everyone who needed assistance checking in or out!

Staff is inconsiderate and rude. Bang on your door at all hours, and if you don’t answer right away they walk right in. They act surprised and run out when someone is in there. I can only imagine if I wasn’t in the room. Housekeeping could not be louder banging and screaming down the hallways. Hotel front desk doesn’t care. Spend your money elsewhere. The beds are not even comfortable.

The hotel staff was the best I have encountered in awhile. The 2 young gentlemen at the front/valet, were excellent. Directions, and simple happy, nice people. The waitress at breakfast, great too. The location of the hotel is great for walking everywhere. I liked the decorating, a bit more hip, then the usual Hyatt property. We shall return even if we are going uptown for a show. Thank you!

Amazing hotel, beautiful lobby and rooms, and wonderful staff.

I like this hotel a lot. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and nice. It’s part of the Hyatt brand now and you can enjoy it with Hyatt points and free night certificate. It locates in the downtown financial district area, next to many tourist attractions. It also has one Starbucks coffee store just next to it so you can get your early caffein easily. The Felice bar was lively during the evening and the atmosphere was great. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a decent place to stay in the downtown Manhattan area.

If you are going New York stay in the gild hall! From the moment you walk through the doors you are looked after to the highest standard. They are professional helpful and lovely all the staff. The rooms are clean and gorgeous! Best bed I have ever slept in. And the bathrooms have great lighting for makeup I hope I get to visit again. Thank you gild hall for making our trip even more amazing. Sad be leaving it also has so much character and gorgeous cocktails.

Great location downtown — near half the city's subway lines, yet still nice and quiet. Rooms are always clean and in good order, and the staff are great — very friendly and helpful. Probably my favorite hotel of the dozen or so I've stayed at in the city.

The service was great, place was comfortable and quiet. As a tourist not used to the big city, it felt like my own little getaway. It was home for the week and I was very happy. They had super nice amenities and a great restaurant, plus the place couldn't have had a better location. The 9/11 memorial with the mall and Subway station were just a few blocks away and major sightseeing not far off from there. Overall, very happy with my experience.

Comfy Hotel down in the heart of the financial district. $$$. Nice rooms, good amenities, friendly staff. The location is not the greatest due to his proximity to all the Office Buildings. Things are often closed late at night due to the lack of people live there. There are a lot of decent food options nearby. It has very good proximity to the Brooklyn Bridge Chinatown, Tribeca and the South Street Seaport. There's Transportation relatively nearby but not right there. Overall has a slightly younger vibe. For those who do not feel they need to be in the heart of things there is a fair amount of Transportation and sights near by.

There was nothing I loved about Gild Hall. Surrounded by taller buildings in the Financial District, only two of the rooms have a view of the sky (according to staff). Want to know if it’s sunny or cloudy? Go outside. The lighting in my room didn’t compensate for the lack of sunlight. The overall feeling was oppressive particularly with the dark decor. The leather headboard? The belt straps upholstery on each side made it feel like the bed would be quite suitable for a BDSM scene. That’s really NOT overstating the ambience. For my room, the air conditioning was nearly uncontrollable. The noise across the street from a parking garage exhaust was intrusive. The toilet ran continuously if I didn’t manually flip the handle and once overflowed to flood the bathroom floor. Oh. And there’s no coffee maker in the room so I’m writing this after checking out without the benefit of caffeine.

This place is cute but their staff have sticky fingers. They stole my phone. Be very aware of your belongings trust no one.

After 5 days in NYC, the best place to enjoy a homemade hamburger. The service is top, the décor is trendy and the price is reasonable (off the wines of course).

Great hotel. The celling in my room is one of the highest that I’ve seen in hotels and the bed is very comfortable. One star taken away because of the inefficient elevator system. Take ages to wait for one at times which is frustrating.

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay at in Manhattan. The service is fantastic and all guest service members make you feel as though you are staying at a home away from home. We even received complimentary fruit and wine for being repeat customers. The rooms are cozy and very clean, and the additional products throughout the room provide anything you may need while staying in the hotel. I will always come back to Gild Hall for future stays.

It's nice. Comfortable and quiet. A little on the pricier side $9 for a bottle of water. Beds are comfy. Room is a good size.

I love this hotel but there is no in-room coffee maker. I travel on business so coffee before I leave my room for the day is vital! They charge a resort fee so coffee in the room should be included.

I LOVE THIS HOTEL! It is cozy! The decor is warm and pleasing to the eye. The rooms are roomy, cozy and comfortable. The front desk people are kind and helpful. This place makes you feel welcomed. It has a library of books you may read. There are also books in your room. The downstairs bar is fun but still chill where you can relax and have a drink or chat with your companions and other guests. You can also retreat to to the leather couches or chairs next to the downstairs bar with your glass of beer/wine and a good book. It's in a great location … down by Wall Street and the subway entrances. My fiance and I thought it would be cool to stay at a different hotel each of the five nights we were here. Bad idea! It's a pain going from hotel to hotel. We so wish we would have just stayed at Gild Hall all five nights. When we come back to New York we will definitely stay every night at Gild Hall. Beautiful hotel! I would have liked the gym to be bigger with a TV and Windows so I could look outside while working-out. It was a small bare room which was sort of depressing considering how nice the rest of the hotel was designed and decorated. And I would have liked a bigger shower head that generated greater pressure and a bigger spray. But other than these two things like I said I love this hotel!

Gild Hall was truly a well decorated, high quality place to stay. The staff was very helpful, the decor was very well done and adds a sense of royalty and fanciness to the experience. The room was very pleasantly surprising with respect to the size of the room to the quality of the amenities. An amazing place to stay at period.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in! Location is awesome — loads of restaurants and food nearby, and a short walk to Fulton St Station which connects heaps of subway lines. Staff are awesome, really warm and welcoming. Love the design and atmosphere of the lobby area and the rooms were perfect — spacious and comfortable and perfectly clean! Would definitely stay here again!

Most artistic hotel in the area. Rooms are well decorated and the staff is very helpful. It feels cosy and warm. It is well stocked with food and bathroom supplies — everything has a price tag. There is a real nice grocery store one block away. The restaurants nearby are local and interesting.

Stay was great, room looks exactly like the pictures on the website. Staff was extremely friendly, I was surprised. I visited in August and stayed at a hotel uptown and it was the most horrible stay I’ve ever had in NYC, so Gild Hall was a breath of fresh air. I would absolutely stay again! Get the breakfast, it is amazing!

Very smart boutique hotel in the middle of the Wall St area and a 5 minute walk to the Hudson River and Fulton St Station.
The room was excellent, but don't use the mini bar or water or the extras on offer as they are really expensive.
The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. We didn't eat or drink in the hotel as it was close to many bars and restaurants however the menu there looked great!

Highly recommend this modern hotel. I stay in NYC regularly, at a similar standard hotel each time. This is the best of 6 hotels for service, room size and location.

I did not receive a very friendly welcome at all. Was not offered the welcome drink that they charge for and there was no information about the hotel's amenities at all. The room was nice but nothing special.

It has good facilities however it does need coffee in the room. But it's clean and has good customer service.

Fantastic and trendy hotel in the financial district. Steps away from everything you could want. If you come here, make sure to ask for a high floor. The lower ones have some troubles with street noise. The staff make the hotel, doing their best to help and make you feel as if you are at your second home.

Friendly & helpful staff. The room was nice & comfy — loved the bed, pillows & comforter. Very thorough mini bar options. I didn't get a chance to check out the wine bar in the lobby, but it looked nice.

Very friendly and professional staff. Rooms are a good size for New York and is extremely handy for the financial district and about 3 blocks from Fulton Street Subway station making it very easy to get around.

A great quiet spot just outside the busy area of the financial district. The rooms/windows were very soundproofed, blocking out the sounds from the street below. The bed was very comfy. The staff was friendly. If we're gonna be picky, the shower heads were too low on the wall and the card readers in the elevator were a bit persnickety.

Stylish hotel with bad service. Found used underwear in my room, phone did not work, the credit card which I had forgotten in the restaurant reappeared only after a week, and did not receive an invoice despite texting 3 different email addresses, calling the desk, accountant and writing a message on Facebook. A real shame, loved the design.

Easy to get to, close to Fulton St stop, good options around the premise. Quiet for a good night sleep. What more can you ask for in Wall St？

The Guild Hall is located near Wall Street on the lower East side of Manhattan. It is a great location for touring sites such as Battery Park and the World Tracenter memorial. Both are within a 20 minute walk. The lobby has lodge feel to it with cool decor. The rooms are clean and spacious enough with basic hotel supplies within it. The staff was kind and even gave my wife and I a free bottle of wine when we mentioned it was our anniversary. There is a restaurant you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner in attached to the lobby. I would stay here again and I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking tour downtown Manhattan.

Loved the hotel. Can't say enough praise for the staff, I was proposing to my girlfriend and they were helpful and assisted me on several times to ensure everything was perfect. Food at delice is lovely, location is great, bed is nice and soft, very quiet at night, the only tiny downside I would say is mirror placement and plug sockets. No plug socket next to mirror made it hard for my fiancée to do her hair properly.
However that being said it was a great stay and the hotel is excellent. Would certainly stay there again and can't thank the amazing staff for all they did for us.

Governor's Ball and Couple trip In searching for a stay for New York's Governor's Ball music festival, and the first trip with my girlfriend from across the country since April, I found this boutique hotel which amazed and surprised me online. In person, the property did not disappoint. My girlfriend was wowed by the room. It was spacious, intimate, and a great place to rest and recover throughout our weekend.
Unfortunately, we were unable to experience the restaurants of the facility, however the location, and activities around were perfect for our trip. I would recommend this property for any couple, whether it be our long distance or living locally in New York. The staff was very helpful, and receptive to our needs. I would definitely return.

As someone who travels for work 2-3 times a month, I am pretty picky about hotels. This a great hotel. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are clean and quiet (and roomy by NYC standards! ). The front desk went out of their way to be friendly and HELPFUL. They know the neighborhood and were quick with recommendations for food, services, transportation, etc. The restaurant in the lobby is also quite good. If you are looking for a hotel in the Financial District, this is a wonderful option.

Simply, this hotel is very stylish and attractive. The hotel lobby has a sort of '70s outdoorsman catalogue aesthetic. It's hard to explain, and I'm certainly not doing it justice — but it looks cool. When you check in, you're also offered a complimentary drink of the alcoholic variety from the front reception desk. This also is pretty cool. Then, when you get up to your room, you quickly will realize your room is just a room. Nothing too beautiful or particularly noteworthy about it. Furthermore, the bathroom door is corrugated glass, so your partner or whomever you're with can easily see you, leaving little to the imagination. It's highly awkward. Overall, it's a beautiful hotel, but you're certainly paying for it. Two nights set me back about $900 on a Saturday Sunday. I recommend it if you don't mind the cost. But with the cost in mind, I can't say I honestly found it to be worth it. Nonetheless, nothing notably wrong with the place either (other than the bathroom door situation).

We loved every detail about our stay from the complimentary glasses of prosecco at our arrival to the fresh and flaky croissants at the restaurant each morning. The room's decor was warm and cozy. We felt at home and didn't want to leave.
