No shampoo for two days and when it arrived, no soap after.
Terrible breakfast with a few things, phone didn’t not work in the room. The room was tiny and the hotel looks old.
Horrible customer service.

The staff is great!
The rooms are to small, especially for the price. Lights are out, sheets don't fit the bed. TV is dark, can not change brightness.

It does everything you would expect of a business hotel, it’s close to Battery Park. Wall Street and Ground Zero. Catch a ferry, helicopter or yellow cab to all points NYC. Very friendly and helpful staff!

First time visiting NYC. The location was awesome. Especially after we figured out the trains and where to go. Excellent and courteous staff. I'm used to bigger rooms and common areas but after being in the city for a few hours I was pleasantly impressed with this hotel. Great breakfast especially if you get there before the crowd. Would definitely stay here again.

No thanks! Room too small. There wasn't even a suitcase, let alone two people's suitcases. At the same price we found top hotel and room at least twice as wide. Also the furniture was ruined. We had chosen this hotel for the reliability of the Marriott name but we re-trusted. If Marriott makes hotels like that use your good name, it's not good… only positive note is that there was a good cleanliness.

Good views. A very Welcoming staff! They accommodated all of my needs and alleviated all concerns. Breakfast was included! However the rooms are VERY small. Again, this has nothing to do with the look and feel of this hotel. My guest and I enjoyed every feature, as well as the unique seaside design of this hotel.

This was the second time I stayed here and I had another great experience. The location is in a more quiet part of NYC (close to 9/11 memorial, brooklyn bridge). Staff were very friendly and accommodating (always greeting us, holding elevator doors for us, etc). My flight landed early in the morning and they gave my boyfriend and I no problems with early check in. The free breakfast was delicious in my opinion. I personally never expect much from a free breakfast and it was great. I recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed here and loved it. There was a group of 29 of us. Our rooms weren't grouped together which I didn't like, but was very happy with everything else. The service is amazing here. Every person we came in contact with was great. We loved the bar staff and breakfast help. Front desk was always there to help. We recommend this hotel to everyone. We will be back!

The views of this hotel are really nice. It is in a perfect location in Manhattan right beside the water (around 3 mins walking). The breakfast is amazing with variety of eggs, sausages, oatmeal, waffles, fruits. Pretty much everything you find in a breakfast buffet. One cool aspect about this hotel is that it feels like you are in a cruise through its designs.

Great rooms but small. Breakfast was excellent. Metro is a 5 minute walk away. Of the minuses-many rooms have a view from the window to the wall.

Really nice place to stay. We spent 4 nights here and everything was great. The complimentary breakfast is delicious and well stocked, everything that you need to be full of energy in the morning. Room was small but really clean and serviced very well each day of our stay. Definitely would recommend this hotel! The only thing that I'm not gonna recommend it's parking, it's not from the hotel and man who is working there is rude and not friendly at all. So if you have a chance to find something better, just do it:) thank you!

Great comfortable hotel in a very convenient location for the historic seaport district. No food or snacks, the free breakfast is tasty but the available seating space is very limited. Overall a very good experience, the front desk staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel when moving to the city. A move to manhattan is so stressful and the staff at this hotel went above and beyond to help us. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE was beyond helpful, so kind, and willing to go the extra mile. When we initially got to our room our fridge wasn’t cold and didn’t seem to be working. I called the front desk and an engineer was at my door in less than 2 minutes. 5 minutes (in total) later I had a brand new fridge in my room. The complimentary breakfast is delicious and well stocked. The sitting area is a bit tight so get there early if you want a seat, otherwise ask one of the staff for a tray, which they will gladly get you and you can take it up to your room to eat. Our room was very clean and serviced very well each day of our stay. Updated bathrooms/room decor. If you have kids the hotel is right next to an amazing park. Literally steps away. Can’t go wrong with a stay here. Highly recommend.

Awesome room, big King size bed very clean and the Breakfast is off the chain. Staff were friendly and sociable. Definitely would recommend this hotel if your traveling for business or pleasure.

I'm here now and love this place. My son and I are now eating breakfast. I wish they had whole milk but its okay. I had two bowls of oatmill. The staff is great friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but that's New York. Location is great 7min walk to the subway to 42nd street Fulton and Williams train station. Not far from the water and some shopping. This is our second time staying here. And there is a mid-town comic book store on Fulton for my 14 year old son.

I don't give 5 stars but I would give this place 4.9 if I could. The room, food, people, pricing and location were excellent. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Very well located, stone throw from Brooklyn bridge and very good accessability to metro. The room was very neat and clean, nice big bathroom. Also you can make your own pancakes for breakfast and very good fruit options. Personnel extremely friendly. It has a very fast elevator.

Very good value for money the TV has Netflix, some rooms have good view and is relatuvamente close to points of interest, Metro, ferry etc.

Overall a decent hotel located in the former financial center of the city. Nowadays there are many office buildings, bars and food. Hotel Accessibility 5 out of 5. The rooms themselves are compact but comfortable. Everything is right. Coffee and tea are available on the ground floor 24 hours a day and free of charge. The average speed of Wi-Fi. Breakfast with waffles and yogurt. No cheese or traditional serving of cold appetizers. But a lot of cool additives.

A four star hotel with breakfast from paper plates and plastic cutlery. The breakfast buffet is really bad. The breakfast room is crowded. The hotel is much overpriced. The rooms are okay and clean but at the end not appropriate to a four star standard.

This was a nice hotel but it was definitely on the right side even for NYC. I was in a king room and would rather have the same sized room with a queen bed to get a little breathing room. Breakfast and the staff were great and the 24 hr valet parking was a reasonable rate for New York.

Nice, clean accomodations, if small. But, a comfortable place to relax after some ubran exploration, regardless. Complimentary breakfast with variety; small exercise room I wish was bigger/had more, but I very much appreciated it even existed. Also friendly, unobtrusive staff contributing to a quiet, comfortable place to call temporary home.

It's located in financial district (so, it's a good place to stay for work) but also close to the pier so you have good restaurants, pubs, places to go out during non work hours. The crew is very friendly and helpful. The bedroom and the bathroom are great (big, clean).

I stayed here on business for a night and had a positive experience. -Rooms- A bit small, but mostly expected when staying in the city. The desk itself is small but functional. I wish there was better lighting in the room and on the desk in particular, it would make the desk a better environment to get stuff done otherwise it feels dark. -Location — Great location if you need to be anywhere in lower Manhattan. As of September 2017, there is significant construction going on around this hotel. There was a new skyscraper going up next door so some views will be blocked depending on your room. -Service- Great staff and service. The included breakfast has plenty of choices with hot food such as bacon and eggs.

Hotel in the city. Bedroom little spacious. Breakfast rich and varied, but with plastic cutlery. Staff are helpful and smiling. Wi-fi works well.

It's near The Dead Rabbit. That alone makes it one of my favorite NYC hotels. What a great staff! — — This is where they shine. The rest of the hotel experience is at least above average for the FI&S brand.

As a Marriott rewards member did not think room would be as small and uncomfortable as it was. Stayed two nights — was never told of the awful construction happening right at the hotel. Uber had a very hard time finding hotel due to all this construction. Small room overlooked a huge, ugly concrete wall. Each day walking outside was greeted by rats running along dangerous walk area set up due to construction. Very disappointed for a Marriott hotel and was not worth the money for myself and family. Daughter lives in New York so when visiting her again will not stay at this hotel nor do I recommend it.

This was our first stay here and it was great. The room was a bit small, but otherwise clean and comfortable. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and pleasant. They offer breakfast that was also great! Would definitely stay here again.

Definitely a big thumbs up for the staff. Also, I like the breakfast they provided very much. Although they are common items, they come with high quality. Also, I like the fact that I can also get a cup of coffee from the hotel (either from the lounge or on the snack bar in the front). The room is nice and clean. Typical size of New york. The only down side to me is that the room does not have any view. It's blocked by another building (which is in construction right now). I was thinking maybe the higher floor could get a better view. But one day I went to the pier behind the hotel and I realized that most of the room are blocked by the building next to it. And the hotel doesn't have any windows toward the pier. What a pity. The location is very good. TKTS nearby and liberty state cruise, charging bull, world trade center are in the walking distance (5~10 minutes). Recommended!

Fantastic staff that recognized we were travelling with our 15 month old and made every accommodation to help our stay be more comfortable. Victor and the guest services manager (I'm sorry I've forgotten your name! ) were amazing. Victor got me a bunch of goodies, like bottled water and cheerios for our little one. When my hands were too full to operate the elevator, he personally escorted me upstairs all the way to our front door. The hotel was cozy (as NYC hotels are), exceptionally clean and convenient to South St. Seaport with nearby parking at a garage.

Good place to stay this close to many tourist attractions in Manhattan.

We've just returned to the UK after 8 nights in this hotel, the staff and management were very helpful and always willing to assist. The breakfast was great and there was always a good choose of hot and cold food and drinks, plastic plates and cutlery was a bit different to the norm but a good idea, use and bin. The breakfast room does get busy at times but we never had to wait for a table and we varied our times between 7.30 and 9.30, it's a high rise building so the room is what it is, if you go first thing in the morning you'll find it's only a few people and their polite and helpful staff in there. The rooms were as the website photos, a room with a king size bed, a bit of storage space and a good bathroom and more importantly were clean and comfortable which is more important to us. If I ever went back to New York again, I would certainly book this place again, great people, great food and great location. Thanks to all at the Fairfield for making our visit a very enjoyable one.

Excellent breakfast and in my opinion the best customer service I've experienced from a hotel staff. They are very accommodating and will go above and beyond to make sure that you have a comfortable stay. I don't normally write reviews, but these awesome people have impressed me to do so. Location wise might not be the best, but for me still very good to have a great new york experience — short enough walking distance to subways and great landmarks like the WTC Memorial and even Chinatown. This hotel also offers free Starbucks coffee and hot teas, even frequent free snacking opportunities to its guests… Love this place!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 days, 3 nights and we had the BEST experience. We arrived at 12:30 pm and were able to check in early. It took all of 45 seconds to get us a room and get us sent on our way. The staff was incredibly friendly during the entire stay. LOVED the location of the hotel. It's kindof tucked away on a back street which makes it very quiet. Right along the water next to Brooklyn Bridge with tons of great places nearby. Yes, the rooms were small but very cute and everything was good quality. I really didn't mind the size and the bathroom was spacious. I appreciated the fridge as well. Complimentary breakfast was great, I loved the little coffee and tea bar that they kept open and stoked all day long. I liked that the lounge was also open to hang out in whenever. The hotel has snacks and drinks set out for their guests everyday as well. I loved that! They also offered a nice cheap room service food option as well. Overall an amazing. Experience in this place. I will definitely recommend to others and will stay again next time I visit NYC.

They have small rooms here. If you want big room and you are willing to pay more, Andaz has bigger rooms. Also it's not pet friendly. However, they have free Wi-Fi, free breakfast and decent price for the area. Staff are mostly friendly, especially breakfast staff. Check in is at 4pm.

The whole environment was electric with people enjoying what they want. Personally it was a relaxing time for me. And nice to meet with my acquaintance and friends.

This hotel is very reasonably priced for all that you get. It is well kept, has many excellent amenities, great views, and is close to many nice areas and the subway. They have an excellent free breakfast and the employees, especially Leticia and Gabriella, do a remarkable job in making you feel at home and welcome. I will definitely be coming back!

Smallest room I have ever stayed in, save an airport "pod" for sleeping. Pros: Location, staff, breakfast Cons: size of room, elevators out of service I have stayed in other FiDi hotels that were more spacious for the same price. Not likely to stay at this location again.

Housekeeping actually folded the laundry I had left all over my room (and far better than I could've folded it) … Very nice touch! Room is small but efficient, less cramped than some larger rooms I've stayed in.

The rooms are clean and tidy. They're small, but that's typical of NYC. We came to NYC for the Five Boro Bike Tour. Everyone at the hotel was helpful and accommodating, providing granola bars and bottled water, and an extended check-out.

Nice, clean hotel. Had the misfortune to be there while they tested the fire alarm system. Extremely difficult to take a nap while this was going on.

Problems with elevator and no one spoke English was the worst. The small room. The breakfast is the best, very complete.

The rooms are good bills and well equipped (TV, fridge, office…).
One small snag, the hotel is placed near one avenue is a bit noisy, so do not open the windows to get some air!

Very clean rooms and new looking. Fridge and TV were convenient. Only 2 elevators and 30 floors so a little annoying at busy hours. Free toothbrushes and toothpaste. Very nice view from post st.

First time for US Open Tennis Championship in New York. We will come back and stay here again. Location is great, hotel is clean and staffs are awesome. Esp. Victor and Doris … they are always helpful, great sever at the breakfast area. Annmarie at the front desk always gives us the map and direction. My son said Wi Fi here is the best! Super fast.
