Lovely experience. Highly recommended.

This is the best hotel in NYC to make you feel pampered! Great location, quiet and large suites, prompt service.

Not a fan of the stay this time. The staff are always great but the billing issues, miscommunications and now trailing quality compared to other 5 star hotels in the area means I won't be returning. Unfortunate for such a storied and otherwise beautiful hotel in a prime location.

We love staying at this property when visiting the city. The service is excellent and attentive. The food is great. I love having a butler to get any special amenities. They are always so nice and want to be helpful.

My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at St. Regis Hotel. It was more than we expected. We were greeted as if we were royalty. We met our butler on the very first night. She was lovely. Our two youngest children were also with us and they were both in awe with St. Regis. It was a beautiful and luxurious experience. I highly recommend St. Regis to anyone who wants to celebrate a special occasion or if you have any opportunity to experience the ultimate in class and luxury, this is the place.

Tried a Saturday brunch at the St. Regis and was treated to inattentive and slow service. Our waiter mumbled when he was at our table, which was infrequently. The food was okay, but the experience was absolutely not worth the $100/head on our check.

As an SPG Platinum, I feel that I may have had a better experience than those without SPG status would. I found this hotel to represent tremendous value due to the suite upgrade, free breakfast and dining credits. I thought the rooms were absolutely beautiful and designed with the utmost precision and attention to detail. I really enjoyed the butler service and my stay was only made better with a visit to the spa! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in New York.

My wife took me here for a staycation and it was a great time. Guest service agent Julissa Shapiro did a phenomenal job. She was very welcoming and made sure our stay was the best it can be. All of the staff was very courteous and readily helped with any needs we might have. There is a reason this is a top rated hotel. Excellent rooms and service. We will stay again. The St. Regis is one of the top luxury hotels in New York. The service of top notch, including the butler service for each room. If you're busy, the butler can help unpack and pack your luggage among many other services like two complimentary garment presses. The decor and upkeep are simply perfect. All in all, you can't go wrong with the St. Regis if you're looking for the very best. Kudos to the General Manager Mr. Geray.

Attended a professional event which includes food and beverages. Had a Continental style breakfast which was good. Lunch I had salad, salmon and fruit salad. There was snacks afterwards which were cookies and drinks. Food was amazing and the atmosphere is clean with friendly staffs. I highly recommend St Regis to anyone who is looking for a venue.

Our flight to New York was delayed four hours so we were tired and hungry when we arrived. Check in was friendly and informative, the room was fantastic! However after waiting over an hour for the personal butler to show up we gave up and left the room to get something to eat. No effort was ever made to contact us. So they lose a star in this review.

A top tier hotel with basic plumbing issue and impose hazard on guests' lost item 1) I have being staying in the hotel for two days. The first night, when I tried to use the faucet, the cold water side came out with hot water until an engineer came to run the cold water side for quite a while. The problem came up after every use of hot water, and therefore we were switched to a different room. The new room has less severe problem but the same kind, plus weaker water flow. 2) The butler service is not even as responsive as average. It took more than ten minute for me to get what I have requested. 3) The facilities are not consistent in the two rooms I have been staying, such as the weight scale and bed end stool were missed in the room that I was switch to. 4) After the stay, my partner left a ring in the bathroom, which was retrieved by the hotel staff. However, when she picked up the ring, it is cracked. In such case, the hotel staff was not expressing basic sympathy to the disappointment, less responsibility. I was told that the ring is bared attached to a piece of paper when it was given to her as if no care is dedicated to the item. When I called the hotel trying to complain, I am told that the way to handle the item is just an internal procedure.

This hotel is simply elegant! The rooms are 5 stars and not a detail is overlooked. The rooms emit comfort and luxury. Service is 5 star — where everybody knows your name. Meeting facilities are excellent and business services top notch. Nice bar.

Excellent hotel, but the jewel of the place is the bar: The King Cole Bar. Wall mural by Maxfield Parrish behind the bar. Yes it’s expensive and loud, but you don’t care because it’s such an icon. Service is good and there are some excellent seats throughout. The bar menu has some fun choices. Every time I’m in New York I make it a point to go. It’s a relatively inexpensive place to go to say you’ve been a part of something so special.

The Regis is a phenomenal hotel and holiday experience. From the beginning of the experience with the doormen to the front desk and the details of each step is such a phenomenal way to treat their clients/ customers. You won't find better service, cleaner rooms and a better location. New York is incredible in the winter months.

An amazing experience. Everything about this hotel is phenomenal. Our room was beautiful, with a mix of classic style and modern amenities. Super comfortable and classy. The french press coffee brought to the room was a nice touch. You'll enjoy your stay, and you'll want to come back.

A very classy place. They have excellent bars and the dining area is first-rate. You will definitely pay for it — everything is expensive — but the quality matches the price. It's one of those hotels where even things like the bathrooms are done with care and taste.

They screwed up our rooms and then couldn't find our luggage. Once it was all sorted out, our stay was very comfortable. Great room, very comfortable bed, and excellent accommodations.

Beautiful hotel, very luxurious and pampering. Beds are very comfortable and bathroom is first class! Although we couldn't check into our room until 5:30 pm, they did give us a little later check-out. But our biggest problem and one that I am going to call the hotel and discuss was coffee in the morning! Our room had a small kitchenette, with coffee and tea but there was not any cream or sugar. So my husband called for cream and sugar for the coffee and asked for pieces of toast. They brought up a pot of coffee, 2 pieces of toast along with cream, sugar, jelly's and honey. When we saw our bill that pot of coffee and toast cost us $101.00! So ridiculous, I really hope that they accidentally mis-charged us, otherwise I would not even rate this as a 4 star.

Yes. You should stay here. Yes. It's amazing. The staff. Amazing. Rooms. Amazing. So yes, you should be here.

I would recommend the St. Regis to anyone and everyone. The rooms are incredible, and I never wanted to leave the bathroom! Also, if you have the opportunity to take the house car, you won't regret it. I will never stay anywhere else while in the city.

We were literally there for less then 24 hours. We check in on Friday at noon, they told us because of our credit card we were being upgraded to a suite. But it was being cleaned, they would store our luggage and text us in 1 hour. We went to the restaurant to have lunch, no text, so we did some shopping, by 4:30 we realized they never texted us, we go back to the hotel assuming our room would be ready, it wasn't! They needed another hour. We were going to a party in the hotel at 6, we couldn't wait. They said they could give us a standard room. Really it takes 5 hours to clean a room, they said it was probably very messy. Seriously, I live in a big house and it takes my housekeeper maybe 2 — 3 hours to clean the house. They said we could wait another hour and the upgrade would be available, well we couldn't wait, we spoke to the manager who gave us lip service, she through her co-worker under the bus by saying she should never have told us we were being upgraded. So if you were on check in at noon on Friday, your manager threw you under the bus. We will testify to that. So we took the room they had available because we had to be ready by 6. We also were entitled to late checkout. On Saturday. We got to the room it was okay. 2 very narrow windows overlooking an alley and a brick wall. You couldn't tell if it were day or night, or if the sun was shining. Thank g-d for the padded walls because I needed them.

I love their afternoon tea at the Astor's Court. The harpist played Happy Birthday when the server brought out the surprise birthday chocolate mousse for my friend. Everyone clapped and made my friend's day very special!

True 5 stars. Beautiful, modern rooms with latest technology meets old grandeur and classic style. Excellent service. Rooms are all modern, great beds, softest linen you can find. Water, fruit, chocolate get magically refilled within hours. Even the smallest room (superior) is around 400sqft. As good as it gets when you look for a mid town location. Stayed at the Plaza Athenee the night before and this feels like an entirely different universe.

Best Bloody Mary's! Interesting mural conversation piece and great company. Young beautiful mixologist has fun historical facts. Cheese platter full of the yummiest candied pecans!

The stateliness and elegance of this hotel is testimony that old New York still exists. The mural in The Old King Cole bar, painted by Maxfield Parish is breathtaking. The history of this place is vast from Jackie Kennedy to Mick Jagger and Salvador Dali! We were fortunate enough to stay in the Astor Suite… Calm, beautiful, our very own Butler… I could only imagine the grand days of Mr. Astor (John Jacob, who went down in the Titanic), Vanderbilts, etc. If you want to experience New York the way the titans did, with great dignity, great service, attention to detail and true elegance you must visit the St. Regis.

As the taxi parked under the Hotel Canopy You just know it's going to be a different nights sleep.
Thomas greeted us by opening the Taxi door and welcoming us to The St Regis. We even got a hand shake.
He organised the removal of the luggage and directed us into the Hotel and Up the stairs to Check In. That's your luggage taken care of, we will deliver it to your room.
We checked In after a severely delayed flight. Your Never at your best after "One of Those". But we were made to feel we had arrived home.
We were Professionally and Politely checked in by a Charming Young Lady (regrettably I am not going to try and spell her name I had to ask it 4 times) but I know you will know who that person was. She even wished me a Happy Birthday. "Thank You " It went a Long Long Way.
We were given a Brief that provided us with Our Personal Information and our Key:Cards. We were on the 14th floor and directed to the lifts-The formalities over She came from behind the desk and made contact with us. We chose to see ourselves Up but was asked. On finding our room and opening the door it was beautiful. The fresh smell of Pressed Linen and Cotton towels. It's so comforting to know "We'd Arrived". The Rooms are more than "Very Comfortable" to Use. The chamber Maid is a credit to St Regis. Our personal items were tidied and cables rolled up.

Wow. I used up a load of SPG points for a couple of nights here and wasn't disappointed. The "basic" room gorgeous — and they won me over by giving my daughter a wee teddy bear, coupon for some candy/sweets in the lower lobby shop, and milk and cookies on her first night. I was a bit peeved that the butler service didn't provide coffee/tea at any time of day given there are no in-room facilities. I was sure the St Regis in Bangkok did so… Health Club was small — almost as much room in the generous changing areas as in the facility. No pool — they have an arrangement with a nearby hotel. All over, a calm, luxurious haven in the middle of mid-town.

Good quality food and unique lunch boxes for conference attendees. Good AV support and very clean meeting rooms. The penthouses is gorgeous.

I have been lucky enough to attend 2 high end events at this establishment and let me just say TOP KNOTCH doesn't give them enough justice. From the delightful staff to the delectable cuisine, there was no end to my joyous emotions as I dined on scrumptious creations by exquisite and talented Chefs. Luxurious settings and great DJs. I had a wonderful time and experience.

People who work are are extremely friendly and knowledgable, especially at the entrance. Best communal bathrooms I've been to (I've been to a few 5 star hotels in Manhattan). Ballroom was superb. This place is. I wish all the lender meetings where here.

Absolutely a wonderful hotel. The service is amazing and the staff is very helpful. One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had.

They had a terrible scheduling system. Was part of an organization that had an event there for a fundraiser. We got there an hour before my event to set up, but we weren't able to get into the event room/hall because there was a corporate meeting taking place. By the time the hotel staff finish cleaning the space and teardown, we didn't begin setup until 30 minutes before the start of our event. Then, we already had our guests trickling in.

Attended a wedding ceremony here in November of 2015. Beautiful rooms, fantastic views. The ceremony and reception were amazing, great service by the waiters and staff.

THE hotel to stay in if you manage to get a good promotion. The staff is mega attentive, the restaurants are superb (Adour and Aston´s Court) ; the rooms are nicely laid out and your butler will be your bff! What else would you want? A nice spa and decent gym. Update (12/14) flawless checkin and great treatment. Try their eggs Benedict for breakfast. Update: New gym on The 19th floor is 5 times larger and all new equipment.

Wow! We have stayed at this location several times and each time they take service to the next level. This time, my fourteen year old son checked in with my wife while I parked the car. My son asked the reception desk if they could upgrade us as platinum guests. They offered us the most beautiful room we have ever seen! I am in bed writing this review as I could not wait to share my experience. First, I had to stop by the front desk a few times, each time, the staff would greet me as if I was a long lost friend that they had not seen in a while. We went for dinner while our room was being prepared, and returned to find that our bags had already been delivered to the room. When we entered the room, we could not believe our eyes! This room is fit for a king. Every detail is perfect. Not only is it spotless, but it is beautifully decorated. The fresh fruit and bowl of chocolate were much appreciated. Minutes after our arrival, our butler arrived with cookies and milk for the kids (and me). Our butler was so nice and asked if my wife or me would like coffee or tea. Within minutes of our request, she returned with a french press full of coffee and and tea for my wife. Delicious. We had planned to venture out and explore NYC again, however, our room was too perfect. We all decided to stay in and watch a movie on our couch in the living room. This morning, within minutes of my call, a pot of coffee and tea was delivered by the butler.

It had great staff they wre very friendly and the rooms were amazing the pool looked amazing and we could have great controled a\c yeah overall it was the best hotel I have ever stated in.

Really quaint nyc institution. Nice size rooms, clean, great service, what else can you ask for? it's new york, what's not to like. Our stay was really great and pleasant and I got to do all the shopping I wanted so I had an amazing time.
