Great service! I’m currently a nursing mother and was away from my infant for the weekend. The hotel made accommodations for me to store my expressed milk in their commercial freezer during my stay. I was so relaxed when visiting NYC, knowing that my goods were safe and would be able to travel home easily. Thank you!

Dirty rooms, customer service basically non-existent. Even after I complained about the dirty room and was told the house keeping comes in the room is still disgusting. I was not offered a replacement room, only a $100 resort credit. Had no water today until 4pm, afterwards the water was ice cold for at least 2 hours. Out of the 5 elevators to the rooms only 2 are working. The upgraded king bed room has a queen bed (measured 80x60 inches) and the manager told me I wouldn’t know better as an international traveler that this is a proper king. Mattress is awful and totally worn out as everything else.

Room was not cleaned well. I complained showing photos and the hotel replied they would clean immediately. 4 hours later the bathroom was still full of hair. 12 hrs later no change.

Good sized rooms but beware — there is a $30 “resort “ fee that no one could explain — and the food was awful! Room service is very limited menu and the restaurant only had a few other items on it. Location was great for subway and getting around the city. Will probably choose a different property next time because of the resort fee! Go into the market in Grand Central to get your food — the market is huge and you can get things like fruit, bread, meat and cheese — made our own feast! They also gave us coupons for a free self guided tour of Grand Central Station — it took about an hour and was worth the time — it tells the history of the building and some little know facts.

When the check-in process results in an additional $130 being put on your credit card above the advertised rate, that makes me shake my head in dismay. Forcing guests to patronize your market and bar isn’t cool, especially when the service is ssssssllllllloooooowwwwww and the beverages taste “funky” as a co-worker phrased it. I’m unlikely to return.

Modern. Excellent gym facilities. Good sized rooms. Brilliant location, right next door to Grand Central Station. We were given a corner room with a view of 42nd Street. It’s our first night. Nil complaints thus far. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, comfortable room, and great price for Manhattan … would stay there again. Wouldn’t recommend the hotel bar, at least not the waiter we had… hostess and bartenders were great.

It was nice place with good staff but the room wasn’t as I expected I expected better.

Bathrooms are tiny, no in-room coffee, it took 6 tries to get down the elevator this morning because of crowds, bar area very small, not very organized. No explanation of da unities as we checked in. Hallways noisy — you can hear everything from your room.

We have come from Australia and staying at this hotel for part of our honeymoon. It has been a great experience so far! Staff are friendly and rooms are very clean. The location is perfect for travellers close to everything and very central. Hope to enjoy the rest of our stay.

Easy access to lot of things in New York, just a step away from Times Square and 5th Avenue, Grand Central Station is literally just next door, room was a bit small but very clean and comfortable, staff was pleasant n helpful. The room was nice and well furnished, with a large TV and a nice couch. It's right next to grand central Station, which is very convenient. The staff is very nice and the room came with a 15 dollar credit for the (overpriced) hotel market, but it was enough to get us some breakfast. Overall a nice room, and good service.

Location: great if you are taking subway. Walking distance to Times Square. Crazy traffic due to the Grand Central station. If you want to be near Central Park, then this is not ideal. Smelly near the station too! Service: hit and miss. Some staff members are friendly, some act like they would rather be somewhere else! Room Service: Stingy with towels and amenities, dusty tables Rooms: quite roomy, nice wardrobe, did not like glass doors in the bathroom! Nice, but unsupervised fitness center, no mats! Would I come back again: NO.

It is a nice hotel for the money. Rooms and bathrooms are small, be expected for NYC. Rooms are clean but not “sparkling”. Staff is friendly. The frig in the room did not work but never called to replace or fix, just drank warm bottled water. The hotel is not as nice as the Grand Hyatt in Atlanta or DC and definitely not as nice as the Grand Hyatt in Tampa. We got the club room pass. Food was good quality and good tasting. The club room in DC had more to offer like bottles of water and refreshments that NYC did not have. We would stay here again but probably would pay more to stay at a higher priced Hyatt in NYC.

Best location among all hotels in NYC! We stayed 6days for our trip to NYC. This hotel is located beside Grand central station so was very convenient to access anywhere not only to the City but also towards the suburb. The hotel offered $25 coupon per day which we could buy goods like water, juice or snacks at the shop on the 1st floor. The front staff was kind overall. Will come back if I have another chance to visit the City.

I had the pleasure of staying here for a weekend and I must say, this hotel is definitely worth its weight in gold. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they even got me into my room earlier than expected! Clean and well kept, the amenities included everything one would need for a weekend getaway. The biggest selling point for me is that its located right by the Grand Central Station. Great for photos and traveling, you can pretty much get anywhere in Manhattan because of the near by subway. There's only one thing I wish the hotel did have and that would be a pool! Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this establishment to any friends and family.

Great location in the heart of the city on 42nd street. Trains can take you thru the city with ease and they are next door. Easy walking to many landmarks and attractions.

The hotel is not quite as grand as the name suggests. The rooms looked old with bare basic amenities, there was only one tiny mirror is the bathroom, no coffee machine in the room, they charge for left luggage. Location and entrance is good.

Last minute booking + not a Hyatt member gets a room with no blow dryer, no coffee maker, & a saggy bed. Staff are very nice. Restaurant excellent food.

Staff are great. Location is very good, you can go through the hall to Grand Central without going outdoors. Doormen were so helpful in getting taxis. Bed was very comfortable. Closet space is great. Hotel itself is somewhat dated. Rooms have been updated in kind of a slapdash way. Furniture seems not to fit as well as it might. Nice small refrigerator. Bathroom was tiny, with almost no counter or shelf space. Not even a hook for a robe. Motion sensor night light in bathroom is a great idea, but ours blinked on and off all the time when it should have stayed on. Horrible toilet paper. There is NO literature in the room about the hotel's features or amenities. Nothing is even available. I find that very odd, and unhelpful. Asked for a robe, nothing. Asked again the next day, they asked Small or Large, I said Large, and they brought Small. Oh well, it worked. Club Room was very nice, but I was surprised wine was an extra charge. Rooftop Tour is lots of fun. Take it if you can…

I would not stay here again. Great location but service was subpar. No room service, maid missed cleaning my room. I have never stayed at a Grand Hyatt that didn’t provide room service. Small bar area for such a big hotel.

Awesome customer service. The staff was attentive and very friendly.

We haven’t even made it to our room yet and I can already tell you these are some of the rudest hotel staff I have EVER encountered in my life. At the Grand Hyatt! What a joke. We pulled up in the pouring rain and the doorman was of no help whatsoever. He watched us grab our own trolley and load our own luggage then decided to be Mr. Helpful when it was time to roll the trolley up to the lobby. Holding a crying toddler in my harms he menacingly stood over me until I tipped him. At check in the lady didn’t even greet me, let alone look me in the eye. I came to give her my name and she just yelled over the top of me “credit card! ”. Bellboy took my luggage and practically threw the luggage tag at me. Asked a staff member for an umbrella to head outside while our room got ready, she yelled at me “JUST A SECOND” and ignored me to serve other guests one after the other. Asked at the concierge desk he tells me to go back to that lady! I said, I had no luck over there, he just shrugs at me. I can see two umbrellas right behind him so I just flat out say, can I PLEASE have one of those to keep my baby dry? All this within the space of 20mins. Thank God we are only staying 1 night. Never again. Steer clear.

Nothing can beat the location at Grand Central STATION in Manhattan. The airport bus is half a block away. Very large hotel with Nee York service. Get ready to pay for everything you may have thought is free. The hotel adds a hidden resort or they call it destination fee. Nice lobby, large gym but no pool. Large Grand Club with good breakfast. Be aware some rooms are nice others are simply bad outdated and impractical.

Great location and very large and comfortable rooms. There is a list of TV programmes and, in the bathroom, few towels and a bar of soap. Don't take the room near the ice box in the hallway: Too much noise!

Excellent location. Smallish rooms and beds. Phone didn’t work in Room. It took them 3.5 hours to check us in! Granted we were a large party with multiple rooms booked, but I sat in the lobby for 3.5 hours waiting. A little ridiculous, and our booking was made well in advance so the rooms should have been ready. Don’t bother trying to reach the front desk, you will be on hold forever. Very heavy doors with no door stop which makes it difficult to get luggage in and out. The door slammed on me and caused a large painful bruise. Pool was “closed”. No coffee maker in room and Overpriced coffee in lobby. Weird light switch panel that only works half of the time. Comfortable beds.

Noise from the street very present in the rooms and in addition it is New York. Plan the earplugs…

I really wanted to not listen to the bad reviews and book my room at this hotel. I never leave reviews but I was annoyed within the first hour of being here. Waited almost half 40 minutes in line just to check in and get the room keys. I understand there is a lot of people checking in and out but I never waited that long before. Got the key and walked into my room to find out there was already people in there. Went back down stairs to tell them there’s already people in the room and I just walked in on them. They told us they were sorry and going to upgrade my room but then came back and said no bigger rooms were available so I had to stand and wait while they checked me into a new room. I am only staying one night so It was just very annoying that I spent half my day waiting around. Rooms are ok, I am facing another building with no view but I wasn’t really expecting a great view. Also, please clean your ice machines.

Excellent place to grab drinks after work. I am from NY so I have never stayed in here but the customer service from the moment you walk through the lobby is excellent. I love coming here for happy hour/ after work drinks. I do wish they had a special though as drinks are pricey. Bartenders are excellent (they know how to make drinks correctly) and there are employees who work around (not servers/ but just employees) that make sure you are having a good time and everything is going well.

Very nice hotel, good location. In the immediate vicinity of a train station and Metro stations, a 20-minute walk from time square. Clean and well-soundproofed rooms.
Excellent breakfast and small shop on site to buy some in case if needed. The staff are helpful. On the other hand it is necessary to have some basics of English because the French is totally unknown to them.

A great hotel very comfortable clean and modern, the service exceptional and the reception great professionals that are defended in all languages a very pleasant surprise when the internet and from the travel agency had been hired room only and when I got there the breakfast was included was of very high quality, quantity and variety a 10 without a doubt if we return to New York we will return to Hyatt place.

My cousin stays there, she is on her trip from Miami and went to eat at the restaurant in the Grand Hyatt. The food is delicious and the service was very good also.

Centrally located Hotel, within walking distance of all the main attractions of the city centre, clean and elegant rooms, courteous staff.

I reserved a king room. When I checked in they said they were out of kings and gave me a room with two doubles. Didn't offer a discount or complementary dinner or anything. My room was filthy. The toilet seat had what looked like dried snot on it (it could have been something else). When I looked for bedbugs around the mattress I saw that it was filthy, covered in hair of dozens of lengths, colors, curls, thicknesses. Just gross. There were pennies on the floor so clearly it hadn't been vacuumed. Oh, and the room reeked of cigarette smoke. I wore my clothes to bed because I didn't want to touch the sheets. I had the heat turned off but the room was a sauna. So I took my clothes off which meant touching the disgusting bed. But it was still a sauna. So I don’t sleep at all and have a big huge meeting the next day. And the heat was off in my room! The temperature control at this place is that bad. In the morning I had a closer look at the bathroom. The floor looked like someone had lived here for a week and then it wasn’t cleaned before I checked in. There was hair all over the floor. The shower itself was covered in hair. I stepped into and out of the shower in my shoes, it was that disgusting.

Located in a good area. Close to Grand Central station, public transport, restaurants and shops. Although the rooms are small but clean and well maintained. Good breakfast with many choices. The business center is available but no service is for free. Using Internet is free if you use your own laptop or device. The hotel is busy but no big deal because the staff are fast and the elevators are efficient. Although no coffee ☕ maker or kettle in the room, you may ask the house keeping who would provide with cups and necessary items. My overall rating is 4.4

Great location! Close to the FDR, close to great restaurants and shopping, close to the theater district. The staff we engaged with were very friendly and courteous, and truly seemed to have service in their minds. There is a "market" on the lobby floor roughly like a Starbucks (unaffiliated) with breakfast-on-the-go items, coffee drinks, but also snacks, and a small collection of wine and beer. Just above the lobby is an eatery called New York Central where we had a surprisingly good brunch, served by just outstanding staff. Our room was a suite with a great view to the west, and despite being up above pretty busy streets we didn't hear traffic at all unless someone laid into the horn. The decor in The lobby is a bit dated, but who spends time in hotel lobbies? An excellent experience.

Great location, right next to grand central station. The hotel is big and common areas are well kept. Staff is very friendly and the rooms for (professional) events are great. The room was nice but not really clean. It smelled a little, so we were somewhat disappointed. Everything else was great.

Great for overnight stay. Very clean and attractive facility. I paid extra for a room with a view and saw a majorly large crane out my window, however, my request for early check-in was granted without extra cost which completely made up for the crane. Super easy access to this hotel from inside Grand Central Station. Staff that checked us in was extremely friendly and gave great advice on where to eat, not limiting suggestions to inside the facility. We weren't there long enough to take advantage of any extra amenities other than storing bags on our departure date for a small fee, but I trust that it's all great if anything in line with my actual experience.

Great location adjacent to Grand Central Station and near the Chrysler Building… Convenient to most things. Fantastically helpful check-in staff (especially Rosa & Patty), doormen, and concierge services. Rooms have everything you need. Tastefully modern decor with comfy beds. Two thumbs up!

Generally a good hotel in Manhattan, at New York prices! Some of the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is good, rooms are very nice and some have a very good view. The only thing I did not like is that they charge a lot for the packages that you send from amazon, and depending on the weight it can be really expensive.

Very comfortable hotel in full midtown in Manhattan. Large rooms with carpet (unfortunately). It has direct access to the Metro of Grand Central and you can reach Time Square in two stops. Inside also has a mini market where you can find fresh fruit and yogurt but also a pizza… in case of. The staff at the front desk is very friendly and the breakfast is at the non buffet card. Free Wi-Fi.

It's right next to a subway station. From here you can easily reach all directions of the city.

The main asset is the location. For what the hotel it is a 2 star French. Friendly and helpful staff. Double room with 2 beds in 140cm It's better not to be too strong. No bedding. Way too soft. If you want to read it requires at least 3 cushions. The air conditioning makes a noise not possible at night. It's better to turn it off. The bathroom is very small. There is no storage for 4. Housekeeping is very fast. Don't be too looking. To avoid there must be much better for the same price.

L. Location is perfect. The service is unsatisfactory. Two days in a row our room had not been cleaned. We had to make two complaints to make the room (change the sheets and towels, cleaning. ), arriving at the hotel at two o'clock in the morning. The receptionist promised us a discount on the price of our room, but nothing was done. That's too bad. This Hotel deserves to be renovated.

Excellent location, very large room. Something expensive for the services it offers.

I chose this hotel because of the location. It is expensive and the room need a lot of update. The price I paid for the room I stay? Not worth it. The amenities in the room is like a three star hotel. The ironing board has stain on it, the closet is old and smelt. The safe did not work and I have to wait for an engineer to ply it open after 2 hours. As a result I have to rush my breakfast to get to my meeting. Totally not worth my experience with the price I paid.

Very disappointing experience. Been traveling the last 25 years globally and never experienced anything like it. The hotel I situated next to Central Station. There was no difference in entering the station or the hotel. A very cold atmosphere. We have tried several Hyatt Group hotels, but this is by far the worst hotel we have visited.

Great location being next to Grand Central Station. Nice hotel cool looking Restaurant and Bar in the lobby. The rooms are nice nothing too special but modern. Our room the bathroom was pretty small but sufficient. I would suggest this hotel.

Historical structure, unique location, medium equipped. Very chic the common areas, improve the comfort and cleanliness of the cheapest rooms.

The hotel is ok but the Hyatt company is sleazy and untrustworthy. I gave them my business for more than 24 years. The last two years I was building my own hotel and didn't stay in theirs. They shafted their loyal customers, who did not use points or stays in the last two years out of their rewards program and all accumulated points by creating an arbitrary 2 year rule and hiding the one mention of them in emails that no one reads in a small font that no one CAN read. No appeal to their customer service will result in any consideration, after all, they say, "We notified everyone". The executives are a greedy lot who care little for their customers. I own a hotel now and would never treat customers this way. And with some dumb rule I would certainly treat them on a case by case basis. World of Hyatt is a poor imitation of their prior rewards program. For business and regular travel go anywhere but the disloyal Hyatt chain.

The Grand Hyatt at Central Station is a unique gem in the middle of a sprawling metropolis. It served as a great launching point for adventures, and the rooms were kept clean and comfortable. The staff was kind, considerate, and helped to make it feel like home away from home. I look forwards to being back in 2018.

Beautiful lobby, it's a little confusing getting to ballroom elevators as there are multiple levels to the lobby but everything was very clean and expensive looking. I was there for a graduate student orientation and it served the purpose well. A huge balloon for 3, 000 people and smaller rooms for 25-50 people. The desserts and food were pretty good considering. And the bathroom was really nice, everything was clean and the staff were very helpful.

The hotel is located closely to Grand Central Terminal which makes accessing subway easier. In fact, the hotel has a way inside connecting the terminal. The room service could be improved. Staffs are friendly. Overall it is a pleasant place to stay.

Nice location A lot of noise currently following the many works around the hotel. Leave your luggage for a few hours and your baggage will be $3. If you are looking for a taxi at the exit of the hotel, the staff at the entrance will try to force you to take an unofficial taxi much more expensive, you have to resist and try to get a yellow taxi.

The Grand Hyatt Midtown New York is centrally located for a brisk walk to Timesquare. It is right next door to Grand Central Station. Both of these places are VERY interesting to hang out. I visited these areas on foot alone and I was just fine! The staff at the Grand Hyatt Midtown, New York were very friendly and accommodating. I did have issues & concerns with their restaurant. Check out the Hyatt when you get to New York!

Central Hotel. Very well connected. Very modern style. Very small rooms and very nice hotel services.

The hotel has a beautiful lobby and the room was very spacious and clean. The staff is kind of surly and not very helpful. The computer to print boarding passses didn't work and I got poor information from the staff. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very good as was the service. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The location is excellent.

I was super excited about my stay. The room was very nice I had enough space it wasn't your typical room in the city. I went to one of my colleagues rooms and saw the limited amount of space for the same price l. The room with centrally located the Inn Hotel bar was very busy which I like. What I didn't like was the woman who told me that I couldn't bring the drink that I had in my hand in the lounge area she reminded me that they're there for business it bothered me a little bit but I just brushed It Off. Most bars in the hotel that you're staying in aren't going to be really bent out of shape if you have one drink in your hand when you enter. I love the hashtag being able to see your face on the board definitely a good time. I certainly recommended it back when I came home to Connecticut or administrative assistance to continue to book people there for business.

The Grand Hyatt hotel in New York city is an absolutely beautiful hotel if you can afford it. The ambience is electrifying and breathtaking all at the same time. The bar is usually busy but well worth a visit. The downside is that barstaff seems minimal in that you may end up getting your own drinks because the servers are either too busy or nowhere to be found. And when you get the bill for your outrageously over-priced beers, shots, and cocktails, don't faint as I almost did and keep in mind that you are next door to Grand Central Station in the heart of New York City at the lovely Grand Hyatt hotel.

Very clean and super nice, expensive but it's worth it.

Was clean and convenient. Mini fridge but no coffee maker, no bag for laundry, room was small, Ac wasn't the best. Not worth the money but still really nice and clean. Being clean was the most important to me. 5 stars for that.

When we arrived, we were able to upgrade our room for $30 dollars a night. The room was a little larger and offered a city view. The view was of one side of the Chrysler building not the city. Most services were a la carte and expensive but that's to be expected. It is NYC after all. When we walked In our room it smelled of mildew. The lamp was broken, the bathroom fan made a ghastly noise. The safety latch where lock bar goes over was also broken. That room definitely need an upgrade. The hotel dining area was overpriced. $20 for small cup soup and half sandwich was ridiculous. Although very tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi was adequate. It seems like most amenities are extra, for example faster Wi-Fi. Considering the location is is still very reasonably price. Next time I would ask for a different room.

We have stayed at the Grand Hyatt before, this was our 25th anniversary. We like the area as we use to live in this area. It is close to everything and a great location. The staff was very nice and friendly. The reason for the 3 stars is the rooms were small but clean. The bathroom was small you could not fit the garbage can in it. The light switches were a little finicky with the touch pad. The rooms were to dark. There are no coffee makers in the room and to me that is a perk we missed. I did enjoy the free Wi-Fi. And yes no do not disturb sign anywhere!

The Grand Hyatt is a luxurious and very comfortable hotel with excellent customer service amenities. Their conference special rates were very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend it and stay here again.

Very nice and centric hotel. Cleanliness is a big letdown. Our room was spacious and modern but was full of dust. It was very evident on the lamp shades and bed endtables. I thought housekeeping would clean or wipe it down only to find it again in the evening. On the last day we realized how full of filth the a/c vent was. Explained why we had not slept well (allergies) and perhaps the accumilation of dust everywhere. To top it all off, the hot water came out of the faucet very cloudy/milky. Hopefully it was a chemical reaction like Google explained… The awesome guys in the little market in the lobby deserve 5 stars!

It was a wonderful experience. We stayed on the Grand Club level and the hotel was totally responsive to our needs. The water does take a little bit too warm up but that is the only negative for such a beautiful space.

Very elegant and well located. Clean rooms well decorated. Employees very willing to atudar. I loved everything when you come back you definitely have to be the Grand Hyatt NY.

The bathroom was so tiny. The vanity was right on top of the toilet, so close that any one bigger than 5'6 or a size 8 would be majorly cramped. The shower curtain was to short for the tub and when I told the hotel about it they acted like they could care less. The lobby coffee shop was way over priced even for NYC standards. I was there for a conference and most of the escalators didn't work. Unless you are attending an even in the hotel, or have some allegiance to Hyatt I would find another hotel to stay in.

The best check in staff I've ever had. They checked me in at 8am after a red eye flight from SLC. I was so grateful to be able to go to my room and take a quick nap, rather than check my luggage and walk around the city until check in time. The event was for children's book authors and illustrators (I'm both) and the conference rooms, ballroom and event rooms were set up well and carried an even, comfortable temperature. The hotel is conveniently located next to grand central station and there are plenty of places to eat around the hotel. I have no complaints. A wonderful stay.

Great hotel overall, but have stayed there 4 weeks straight on separate stays, and noticed inconsistencies. For example, during two of my stays, there were no washcloths stocked in the room. During another stay there was no ironing board. Also, the lounge is great, but would be even better if it was accessible 24 hours a day for things like water, tea and coffee. Water is available upon request at check in so that helps somewhat.

Attended the HMG CIO conference. Arrangements were good. Great location and easy access. Most sessions were in the ball room and break out sessions in the lower level. Directions were easy. My only complaint, staff could have been more proactive in clearing the trash/waste paper from the rest rooms.

Stayed at the Grand Hyatt New York, good location but that's all. The staff at the front desk are rude and unhelpful. I found Scott and Lorenny to be especially rude and not interested to offer any kind of customer service or assistance. The rooms are far too dark, needs more lighting. The shop in the lobby is very expensive. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.

It is a last hotel we loved it and very well located.

You can't beat the location, though hotel amenities are not as extensive as you would typically find at a Grand Hyatt. That said, you're a short elevator ride and walk from your room to the Oyster Bar downstairs in Grand Central. You're also a relatively short walk from all the classic NYC tourist traps, to include Times Square, the Empire State Building, the Metlife Building, Macy's… you name it. The lobby is almost always packed, and unless things have changed recently, in the past my Gold Passport membership usually netted me a complimentary coffee each day from the coffee/pastry shop in the upper lobby. Rooms are a decent size for NYC, and despite the busy location, the rooms are fairly quiet. All of the above being said, my most recent visit was a disaster. It took two room changes and a long discussion with the manager to get a room with a working toilet and without mysterious stains all over the sofa. None of the rooms had enough toiletries for more than one person and one room had no wash rags. Most pitiful experience I've ever had at a Hyatt. The rooms are in desperate need of a wholesale renovation.

We asked 3 days in a row to get our rooms cleaned and Noone came when they said they were going to. Matter of fact after we called for the 3rd time within 3 hours they finally came after my 6 month old was needing to be fed. Will not return ever again.

Great room with amenities; finicky touch pad light switches and a view of the side of an adjacent building but excellent service and employees are friendly. Food is great but pricey if not included with the room. The hotel lobby is absolutely gorgeous along with each level. Definitely stay here if you want premium service. Price tag is hefty but worth it.

The location is the heart of Manhattan, so it doesn't get much better than that. The room is adequate, but there were issues with it, i. E. Slow drain in the tub, and busted lamp switches. There service is impeccable at the valet, restaurant, bar, and club room. Definitely recommend.

First impressions are good nice room decor. However Shower temp is either hot or cold. Found the room dusty. Sheets were turned over as opposed to changed. When for a drink in the bar and paid 17$ for southern comfort. Location is great and front desk was very friendly. Enjoyed my stay but felt this hotel could be managed better. Would I stay again? No for the dollars paid I expect more attention to detail.

Reasonable price, wonderful care, very clean rooms and fair space.

I've never written a review. This place was the worst. Lumpy bed, Terrible Pillows. And construction at 3am at grand central station EVERY night of my 4 days. I just joined Hyatt credit card through Chase to reap the rewards as I am a regular business traveler and I can assure you the next thing i'll be doing… cutting up my card. I slept for on average 2 hours a night and not by choice. If I want to stay up, i'd only be doing it for being a drunken tool. Thanks for nothing.

Beautiful hotel with clean and well-appointed rooms. Staff was absolutely exceptional. All staff greeted me with smiles and hellos and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. Highly recommended!

Room was alright. No clock, no pen, shower was a regular tub and shower combo, and shower curtain was moldy. The room was pretty clean save some hair in the bathroom. There is a high tech light switch that takes several taps to work. I didn't interact with the staff much. The front desk was efficient but not friendly. Windows didn't block noise very well. Loud nighttime construction on 42nd — I listened to a jackhammer all night.

Three time until now and again after Christmas. This summer we will probe in a similar hotel next to Bryant Park. Hyatt is great, nicer than the average. Very tasteful the sandwiches with steak in the little shop close to the lobby. Definitively, a good choice that never fails.

This is a great hotel in a great location. It is right next to Grand Central Station, which has shopping and even a trendy jazz club — Campbell Apartments. The rooms are very large by Manhattan standards, and the gym is well equipped with cardio equipment, a smith machine and free weights. The staff and housekeeping were very pleasant, although the rose should have been less dusty.

When you pay that much of dollars for one night, you expect a great room and a great service. They really do have one nice room and lobby, and even the location. However, they have poor service that you'll receive at some kind of inn or motel. You wouldn't get treated like this with that much of price at any other hotel near it. If you want to be treated as much as you pay, find somewhere else. There are plenty of great hotels in NYC. I won't stay here even if it is $1 a night.

Here's a hint for all you bottom feeders looking for freebies and add-ons: upgrade to the Club Level. You will experience a round the clock private club with FREE food, appies, and drinks. None of the riff raff (like you) that plague the lobby complaining about this and that. Service is devine, and well worth the extra cost.

I have never stayed in the rooms, only stopped in to eat and meet up with friends staying from out of town. The location is "central. They have a huge area to sit, eat, have a coffee, surf the web and meet up with friends and business associates. All in all, I like the vibe of the place.

The hotel we loved it, very big and very well located, highly recommended. You have Grand Central Station to the side. Rooms are comfortable and clean with good views.

Crap service. Argued with me on what I reserved, then charged me $50 more a night for 2 beds. Not impressed at all. I will never stay at a Hyatt again.

Overall, good stay. Took forever to get our luggage which somewhat threw off our night's schedule but the room was nice, clean, and comfy.

Hospitality isn't the main idea, but of course you can have what you need in this hotel. Located in midtown Manhattan, near to the times square and the Heat of Manhattan's night. L've been there for 5 nights, I liked it. But they should work on their hospitality: you can enter the hotel and reach your room maybe without seeing anyone of the workers. And if you see anyone there is few chances that she (or he) smiles :-).

I am a Starwood Platinum Member, and therefore do not ordinarily stay in Hyatt hotels. However, my firm had a conference at this hotel, and so I stayed on-site. The entry of the hotel was grand, but the rooms were relatively small, and the bathroom was so tiny that I felt I was on a ship. However, what really made an impression on me was the amount that I was charged to have a pot of coffee delivered to my room. In the absence of an in-room coffee maker, I called room service in the morning and asked for coffee to be delivered for one person. I expected to pay $10-$15, as I would ordinarily be charged at a comparable Starwood property. How much did it cost? $30.40. For coffee for one. Not believing this could be possible, I confirmed with the front desk, and they told me that this was their standard price and not an error. I'll stick with Starwood properties in the future, thank you very much.

I booked this hotel for our VVIP client and I got confirmations for 2 Grand Deluxe King and 2 standard room I have called them in advance to reconfirm the king bed and they confirmed that 2 rooms are with King bed and 2 are with queen bed however when our client arrived at the hotel they were given twin bed for each rooms their excuse was that no more king bed rooms available. Very unprofessional for this hotel despite we paid for 2 Grand Deluxe King our VIP guests downgraded to a twin bedded rooms. Will not recommend this hotel especially for VVIP clients. Concierge department are professional.

I've stayed in this hotel twice with the Marist College Chamber Choir when we visit NYC to sing. The rooms and atmosphere are very nice and the halls they have us rehearse in are excellent as well. It's also great to stay in a hotel so close to Grand Central and midtown. The one thing that always confuses me are the touch screen light system in the rooms. My friends and I had to keep playing with the pads to get the lights we wanted on.

Great Hotel at an awesome location. I stayed at this hotel with my wife and baby daughter. The hotel is beautifull. We got a big room. Very comfortable and clean. Amazing location close to timesquare but not too close. Will come here again.

Noble and modern design.
Position super next to the train station, Grand Central, where all metros. Around the corner is also the NYC can bring one to JFk airport for $16. On foot, everything is Times Square 10 min Rockefeller Center can be reached 8min, etc.

The hotel is very well located between central station and Chryslerbuilding. The lobby is very large and modern, but also very uncomfortable and cold. The rooms are large enough and also very modernly furnished. Unfortunately, our room was not as clean as you would expect from a Hyatt, we had hair and dust all over the room and the mirror in the bathroom begat even from predecessor (very unappetizing). Even in December, it took the air conditioning because otherwise the room was far too warm. This was however so loudly that she has disturbed sleep. There was free Internet in the room nor in the lobby. Next time, I'd choose a different hotel.

It is very well situated, there is a metro station to the side, we had two rooms, better than other! but in general, very well, we liked very much.
