A great value for the island of Manhattan. A helpful staff, clean rooms, and easy to get to.

The rooms are clean and quiet. And everything is to. High tech modern from other hotels that I stayed in. And the security system is great. No one from outside can get into any rooms. Its close to everything restaurants train buses taxis and more. I only stayed one night due to amtrak tickets sold out but I will stay again in future. Wish the prices were a both lower due to the small rooms. But it's. Clean nice staff desk and cleaning crew. Pleasant.

Mixed feelings on the hotel. The staff were very nice & the room was clean. Sketchy guests. Our last night (7/4/21) someone was smoking in their room (not allowed) which set the smoke/fire alarms off throughout the entire building around 3am. It was incredibly scary to be woken up like that in the middle of the night. Full on panic attack but also grateful to know their smoke detectors do work. Unfortunately, my husband & I were not able to fall back to sleep due to the chaos which made for an extremely miserable day of traveling back home. I was not a huge fan of the area as it was pretty loud (but also to be expected staying near Times Square) — If I stay in a POD again in NYC it will be POD 51.

Great hotel, customer service is awesome. Checked earlier and was offered to stay an extra hour because my transportation was late. The only thing that’s missing is a little fridge in the room. I will be coming back. Thanks 🙏

They still have not refunded my reservation. They said they would by September 30th. Over six months have passed and they still have not refunded me. Unacceptable.

Finally have had time to sit down to write a web review. My daughter and I visited The Pod January 6th and stayed a week. The rooms are small but so quaint. We loved our view of the street from up high. It flurried and it was lovely to open the window, safety feature so you won't fall out, and feel the cold come inside the room. The staff was friendly and super busy. When we called to make reservation the person who answered was very patient and helpful. First of all front desk and phones are the first people that we will make or break your reservation. I will say for two females in NY we felt safe all around the area and in our hotel. We even left the room door cracked one day we went exploring. I will never recommend you leave your door unlocked but we came back in shock to see the door open and all was well in the room (we remembered we thought one of us had shut the door), so mental note to make sure your door shuts closed. We did have a fire alarm go off all day then that night a loud voice came over the speaker that we were to evacuate our rooms. I stayed calm and exited onto the stars. Everyone was calm and helpful. Since we were on I high floor we had several steps to go down, all the while thinking of the movie Towering Inferno. Half way down someone came over the speaker to let us know we were safe to return to our room, there were rumors going around to what happened but the bottom line the staff handled it well and we were safe.

I had booked for the beginning of May and was told I would be getting a full refund as the hotel couldn't accommodate us due to Covid19. I emailed to check the refund had been issued as promised but was then told I wasn't getting a refund. Completely confused as to why I was lied to. I am really disappointed in this and will be logging a formal complaint.

My credit card was fraudulent by POD TIMES SQUARE at the day I check out, and never reply my mail to fixed this issue or explain the charge.
The Cleaning staff is totally a mess during the days we stayed, They put the uncleaned towel on the floor and over our luggage several times. We were worried about our stuff would be stolen or move during the stay. NEVER thought of that at the day we check out pod times square hotel charge me about 200$ with my credit card for no reason and no notification.

Clean and tidy rooms, lovely bar area really helpful and friendly staff.

They trick you into paying a $22.95 “facility fee” PER NIGHT that is NOT included in the original price and is not communicated about until after you already confirm your payment and book it, or specifically dig around on their website for it at the BOTTOM of the FAQ page. After staying in other hotels in the past, I assumed the charge would be for if anything in my room was damaged or broken. Upon checking in, again, this was not clarified like it should have been. I called to confirm a $32.95 charge would be refunded after seeing it on my credit card after my stay, to which I was told that “$10 was for if the room had been damaged in any way, but the other $22.95 was NOT going to be refunded. ” I recommend not staying here, due to the lack of communication about cheating their customers, and was very glad I only stayed 1 night and not multiple, as this absurd charge would have been much more expensive.

I absolutely LOVED this hotel! I come to the city a lot and after my first stay here I plan to book it every time. I am now looking into their extended stay option! The place was perfect, just what I needed. The staff was great and on the last day as I was running late to catch a ride to the hotel after a morning of shopping the attendant was kind enough to bring my bags down to me so I could run to catch my ride! Above and beyond my expectations!

Location was great but we had an issue with our sheets. They were stained with blood, pee and snot. We complained to the front but nothing was done. We finally were able to reach the housekeeping manager after 30 mins of waiting to let them know what was going on. After sending the housekeeper up to replace our sheets she then went through at least 20 to find clean ones.

Awesome hotel and location… only thing is wewisjed that was a small fridge to keep our drinks cold whole we were out exploring the City.

My wife and I took a 3 night trip to NYC, and gave them a shot because they had good reviews and seemed to be in a good area. After staying there I can say its a great spot for a couple of singles, if all you're looking for is someplace to sleep. There aren't a lot of the amenities you may expect from others, but they make up for it with price, cleanliness, and helpfulness of staff. Would highly recommend this place. You'll read rooms are small, we had a Queen bed with private bathroom, and although there want a lot of extra room it's workable. We will be back.

Great hotel for the price. It's cheap and well-located close to Times Square and many great restaurants. Rooms are small but the space is used cleverly making a great impression. Cleaning and Wi-Fi among the other services provided by the hotel is great, and the staff is friendly and helpful with any concerns or questions you might have. Overall a very nice experience! Would definitely recommend and use again personally.

A great space if you are spending a few nights in the city. They've got multiple locations for a very reasonable price, providing all the essentials you need for a hotel stay. We were in the 1 Queen bed bedroom which had the bed, a private bathroom, and a tv. The view from our room was magnificent and we found the space to be quite clean. The only reservations I might have when recommending this hotel to someone, which I definitely will, is that you should be aware that it is a small space so if you are coming with another person, you should be pretty comfortable with being in each other's space. The bathroom is sectioned off within foggy glass walls with a sliding door (no lock), so if either of you could be squeamish about bathing or using the restroom in close proximity then you could have issues with this room type. The glass walls do a good job of extremely blurring almost everything in the bathroom as well as muffling any sounds. All in all this was a fantastic place to stay when going to NYC and I would definitely return to this location in the future.

My sister and I just spent four wonderful nights at the Pod Hotel Times Square. The rooms are great. Obviously they are small, that's the whole point. The beds were comfortable, the rooms super clean, and the staff were all awesome. Located near to everything but far enough away to be a bit quieter. Major subway stations to get you anywhere, all within a block. Short walk to Times Square with amazing theatres and stores all around. Highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again next trip.

I stayed here for about a week and I honestly LOVED IT! Knowing NYC I knew the rooms would be small but it was very comfortable and spacious. I also got a view, but there is some down sides for staying here such as safety reasons. When you access the elevator to go to different floors, it doesnt ask for a key meaning anyone can just enter the floors and when I mean anyone I MEAN ANYONE. One night, a man knocked on our door assuming he was trying to meet someone. Also, while we stayed there the fire alarms kept going off and would wake one up. I understand they do it for safety reason but to do randomly in the morning. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and the staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend staying here.

For those travelers looking for basic accommodations, at a reasonable price — this is for you. Check-in and check-out went smoothly and quickly. The room itself is small (I opted for the full-sized bed), yet it provides all the basics one needs in a hotel room. There are ample outlets available to recharge devices. I liked that the shower had two shower heads. The bathroom also has a motion sensor light under the sink, helpful for midnight bathroom trips. The hand soaps are these little round balls — so cute! Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided in the shower too. Comfy bed and reading lights easily accessible for reading in bed. My room faced east and provided amazing views of midtown. Upon arrival at the hotel, I did need guidance as to how to reach the lobby. Once in the elevator, one must select "lobby" on the screen/panel. Whereas while waiting for the elevator the instruction sign states select "L. " I took that to mean select an "L" button, rather than an option on the screen. Fortunately, another traveler was kind enough to clarify my brief elevator confusion. Outstanding location — a short walk to Times Square, bus terminal, multiple subway lines and two Starbucks.

There are 2 sizes for the two bedroom suites at this location. Each one has a living area, 2 bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms with queen beds. I had the smaller of the two suites and loved it. The 2 bathrooms are a blessing when 4 people return from walking all over the city and want to shower immediately. The rooms also have their own thermostats, and the AC works fantastically. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Great location with an easy walk to the subway, Broadway, and several close by attractions. Highly recommend, can’t wait until our next stay!

Loved it! Location, price and accommodations are perfect. The rooms *are* small but there’s enough space for everything. The bathroom is clean and the size is just right. Our view was spectacular. Stayed in a bunk bed room and we couldn’t have been happier. Subway station and bus stop just around the corner, Broadway is within walking distance, Times Square is even closer.
(Spanish speaking front desk people was a nice plus! )

I enjoyed my three-night at this wonderful hotel! I had a fabulous room with a very nice view (break taking). I almost cried when I saw the view. I was also accompanied with a daily clean room, with fresh towels and linens daily, rainforest shower, free breakfast and friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel to someone looking for a stay with a great location with great amenities!
