The worst location I have stayed at. No blankets it was 37 degrees outside. The bed had a metal base and every time you moved it sounded horrible. The bathroom was nasty and it looked like someone did a nasty on the back of the door. The security latch broke in my hand… I would recommend for everyone to avoid this place. Run away as fast as you can… Horrible, Nasty and Unclean.

Made reservation thru a third party. When rooms starting filling up, they bumped all third parties and gave out rooms at 2 to 3 times what I had already prepaid. Shady business practice. I stopped dealing with Choice brand hotels because their loyalty program was dishonest. I'll never stay at one of their brands again.

The rooms have been updated and are clean and comfortable. For a just passing through hotel, it’s fine!

We booked through priceline arrived 10:30 pm no rooms available lady at front desk was very polite the man who relieved her needs a hospitality course. Neither the Non Quality Inn nor the over the price line want to refund fees ourselves plus several other people including the elderly were without rooms and finances. Tired sleepy exhausted called the police to report theft and although they were polite wouldn't even provide an incident number. Highway Robery. Thanks for nothing I was headed to my uncles celebration of life and one of our sons ended up in the ICU so thanks for making a difficult trip even worse. Most disgusting experience ever from California to Missouri.

Nice and clean room's. But housekeeping need's to check coffee pot. I don't know how long that coffee pod was in there but it stinky.

Hope ya like cats cuz their mascot is a cute well fed cat. But is annoying. Rooms weren't bad but carpet wasn't even vacuumed. Disinfected room myself, in doing so found room was quite dusty. But overall for a quick night's sleep at decent price it was good. Everything, pool, breakfast, lobby coffee all closed down cuz of covid.

I've stayed at this one yearly for more than 20 years. There's a restaurant on site, the rooms are well appointed, and breakfast is quite good.

The inhouse restaurant has excellent food
the rooms are nice, the location is easy on easy off and very affordable.

Very friendly staff, not a ton of food options in the area and the restraunt at the hotel was sub par. The rates were good though and there is a large pet area and ample parking. Clean rooms and a nice looking pool. Get food before you stop and your stay should be wonderful.

Our room was quiet and impeccably clean. We were most impressed by their complementary breakfast. Fresh choices, well prepared food which was constantly replenished. The breakfast ham was some of the best ham I've ever sampled and the personnel we're warm and friendly. Thank you, Tucumcari Quality Inn. We we visit again.

Customer service was exceptional. Alisha was polite and nice. Will provided extra customer service being sure we got what we needed. Pool looked clean. Good temp. Room was clean thank you. Breakfast was enjoyable. Especially the ham and eggs. Small cinnabon great. Coffee anytime and light lemonade a nice touch. I'd like to buy the southeast photo art. Unique!

Extremely comfortable memory foam beds! Good air conditioning. Improvements going on so walls or doors may be unfinished. Hot breakfast with veggies and cheese for eggs, diced potatoes, small cinnamon rolls and donuts. Waffle machine was not working today, but they had pancakes, no syrup. Beautiful pool, gym, dinner restaurant, laundry room.

After being in a hotel for 3 hrs with ac not working properly we moved to here. Was a much better place with a hot breakfast. Only problem I saw was pillows were small but we travel with our own anyways. Thank you Quality for being there for us.

Nice big rooms. But you can't get a room down stairs without paying a lot more. No elevators. And 3/4 rooms were empty all night and I am handicap. Didn't need handicap room just to downstairs room so I didn't have to climb the stairs. I feel that's discriminating charging you more money for downstairs room. Their breakfast was one of the best I've had at a Quality Inn.

Very nice, clean hotel and the staff was very friendly. Very clean breakfast area with lots of options including ham, eggs, pancakes and waffle makers. Highly recommended!

Staff was friendly. Easy to access freeway, quiet place. Rooms are clean and large, Wi-Fi was not working good. There is a big pool and many people enjoyed here. Will stay again next time.

The staff was amazing! They were helpful and friendly. My kids loved the breakfast.

Wow! very impressed. Alicia came through on a freebie when I needed it. It the little things that count and that's why you should just pay the extra 10$ and stay here.

It's a cute little hotel and quite. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are alittle old but they are clean and well kept. Pets are welcome and some of the rooms are smoking.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The nighttime staff was super nice and even offered a room switch to accommodate my grandmother. There is a restaurant inside the hotel/registration office and the food is wonderful. The room was very clean and everything looked spotless. There are many channels on the TV to choose from. They offer Wi-Fi, but I didn't use it. The microwave and the refrigerator in the room was clean also. The breakfast was still hot right before they closed it at 9 AM. Friendly staff and clean hotel. No complaints!

Very clean. Slept great. Dinner the night before in the in house restaurant was good. Breakfast was excellent.

Clean rooms, no musty smells or over powering chemical cleaners. Nice beds and quite area. Wi-fi could use an upgrade (very very slow if you can get connected at all).

Beds are comfortable. I have chronic back pain so one of the better mattresses I've encountered even in the more luxurious hotels. Guy at front desk had great customer service. Rooms are clean u can tell they actually washed the bed spread. I'd say for the price its a great deal. Especially with free breakfast. Oh and gave it 3 stars cuz their Wi-Fi sucks lol.

Loved that there is a restaurant on site. Beers and food was excellent. The staff was very considerate and friendly.

Room was ok. TV didn't work. Bed was comfortable. Because I'm a disabled person, my daughter wanted to bring breakfast to me in my room, but it wasn't allowed. I guess there is a reason, but I would have appreciated the consideration. Parking was good as it was at my room.

Tucumcari, New Mexico isn't exactly a large town. Despite this, there are more than a few options to choose from when it comes to hotels. I haven't had the opportunity to visit many of these; I usually just stick to the budget hotels/motels. Of the ones I have visited, Quality Inn is my favorite. The biggest reason for this is the included breakfast, which is available until 9am. Eggs, potatoes, pancakes, ham, waffles, yogurt, bagels, the list goes on. This breakfast is included with your room, which partly justifies the slight premium over other competing budget hotels/ motels in the area. Another reason to choose quality inn is the cleanliness. I've never had an issue with cleanliness at this place, whereas I've seen things at other inexpensive places that give me pause. Also, Quality Inn has pet friendly rooms if you're traveling with fuzzy companions. Next time I need to spend the night in Tucumcari, I will be staying at the Quality Inn.

We were traveling with our dog and wanted a gym for a decent price, and that's what we got. They gave us some bottled water and a doggie bag with treats and a poop bag as a welcoming gift; it was very sweet. The room was clean and well-stocked and though the gym didn't have an elliptical or free weights (since I imagine someone can walk out with those pretty easily), they did have a cycle and a cable machine that were in working order. Check out was also at noon, which was nice. We got all of this and a double Queen room for just over $100. The pet fee was only $10, compared to other places that routinely charge about $30. It was a very good deal.

Nice room. Comfy bed. Good breakfast. Very friendly front staff. Lots of amenities within a mile. Super good place to take a break on I-40. I'll stay again.

Great staff! The best customer service around, plus the hotel has been receiving various remodels so it looks great! The restaurant onsite is fantastic, serves beer and wine and real New Mexico cuisine.

Clean room, decent furniture. Mattress was getting old, needs to be replaced. Great breakfast, friendly staff.

This hotel exceeded my expectations for this price point. The staff was cordial, professional, and responsive to guests' needs. I'm sensitive to fragrances and odors, and there was no air freshener smell or other bad smell. The room was clean and properly stocked with amenities. Breakfast was typical for this price point, by which I mean it's not so good. If breakfast is important to you, head for Del's down the street. I would stay here again as a one night stop en route to Santa Fe.

This place is beautiful. The rooms are very nice & clean and big. The breakfast is amazing & the staff was very nice. Checked in on August 31st around 5:30 pm, the man at the front desk was really nice. I would definitely stay here again. There's a restaurant inside & the food is amazing. So you don't have to worry about leaving the hotel to find food. I recommend this location. You won't be disappointed.

What a dive, place if dirty and run down, got up at 3am and had to kill a roach. Carpets are all wore out, Harley parked in hallway. All vending machines empty and not in use. Not staying there ever again.

Room was adequate. Shower nozzle/lever was a pain to operate. Hotel was in a sketchy area. Two weird guys pulled into parking lot beside us, starred at us until our stuff was loaded into the motel room. Alerted front desk. They handled it well. Unfortunately wouldn't stay there again for security reasons.

The room was descent. Breakfast wasn't great. Scrambled eggs smelled bad. Hard boiled eggs tasted bad. Breakfast service was slow. The person working wasn't keeping up with demand. Yogurt was never restocked. My daughter had stayed there the previous week and said a different person was working and breakfast was great. When asked for a receipt the person at the desk told us we were supposed to ask when checking in and there was nothing she could do about it at check out.

Older hotel with outside doors. As long as you don't have a problem with that, this is a fine hotel. Good air conditioner, microwave and mini fridge, and a decent breakfast. Poll is outside so it might be chilly, but it was nice and clean.

The best free breakfast of all the Choice Inns I have been in. But I have been using this chain for better than 16 yrs. And the last few years have me thinking of checking others because of some of places have signs of many maintenance issues in rooms and overall facilities are taking tolls. I won't try to list my thoughts but I did submit some comments on the two out of four that I was made to use a few years back. I know I am not a big time user but have used this chain 4 times per year on our snowbird trips in Spring & Fall to and from Arizona.

The breakfast and the attention is of 5 ☆

We ended up staying here during a snow storm that closed 40W on our way to Albequerque and were impressed with how well the staff handled an unexpected full house because of the storm. I had tried to reserve a room using spotty Wi-Fi at a truck stop on our way, and wound up somehow booking 2 rooms (only needed one) on a random date rather than for that night. The front desk graciously canceled that reservation for me, and found us the exact room we wanted for that night. Staff was pleasant and helpful despite the phone ringing off the hook and several travelers in line waiting to get rooms. The room itself is typical Quality Inn, nothing terrible special, but the beds were very, very comfortable and the room spacious. We, like everyone else staying there that night, did not want to venture out on the ice and snow covered roads for dinner, so we dined in the on-site restaurant. All tables were full and the lobby rapidly filled with others waiting for tables. Service was fantastic! Despite being understaffed, the waitress really hustled and a local gentleman helped out taking reservations and busing tables. Food delivery was speedy and the food was much better than expected. The breakfast was truly above and beyond the standard "free breakfast included". All the food was freshly prepared and there were tortillas and several topping options for the scrambled eggs. The sausage was hot and tasty and there were cold options and a waffle maker available as well.

We were stranded here due to a 40 car accident on I-40. It was about 2 degrees out. The desk clerks were very nice. Later we ate at the restaurant & there was only one waitress but she handled the pressure like a pro. After about 45 minutes her help arrived to bus the tables & the desk clerk pitched in to help. They opened up the breakfast area to accommodate the crowd of stranded travelers. It was a pleasure to share the evening with such dedicated employees.

Meh. Decent value for the good rate I got. Wi-Fi kept kicking me off 'til I finally said the hell with it. Didn't like that the doors beeped constantly when they were open. The people next to me that came in after midnight were loud enough already. Typical motel layout does not translate to a restful night. Bed was just OK. Did like that they have an on-site restaurant to get dinner. Also, breakfast had very good variety — everything you could want was there. Staff was very friendly.

The room was very clean and had a sign on the bed to assure us the sheets were clean and the mattress was comfortable. Everything checked out as promised! Also had a nice size fridge, microwave, and coffee pot too! Breakfast was quite the spread! We'd definitely stay here again for the price and quality!

Great room, breakfast area is very generous with room for tables and people. Food was good also. Truly enjoyed the waffles. Every one was very nice and helpful. Would stay again when in the area.

Very nice staff, clean, accommodating and easy on/off freeway. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. There's a restaurant at the hotel, so I did not have to leave the premise and the food was very good. I would definitely stay there again.

I wasn't impressed with the facility one bit. The carpet felt dirty under my feet and was stained in several places. There were long hairs on the shower walls that didn't belong to anyone in my party based on length and color. The tub faucet wouldn't switch over to the shower compleyely so it was half and half for everyone's shower. Our comforter had a large stain. The pool was VERY cold. We had been driving for 24hrs with our kids and they were looking forward to swimming but got in and right back out. The hot tub was completely out of commission. The only pleasant part of our stay was breakfast and the friendly young man taking care of the breakfast area.

They have been amazing. We broke down with 3 dogs and our baby in the middle of no where in New Mexico. They gave us a distress rate since we were stranded until auto repair was complete. They allowed 3 dogs even with a two dog policy. The second night they comped the dog fee since they wwe well behaved pups. They habe just been awesome. No its not the Hilton. They made up for it with service and friendly staff. Room was clean bed was comfy. Overall just thank you for making our disaster tolerable.

Decent rooms, having a restaurant in site was convenient. I stayed here while traveling long distance on my motorcycle, having everything there helped to make my stay easier.

Front desk lady was grumpy and rude. Rooms are old and smell aweful, had flies and a frickin bee, what the crap?!?!?!?

Older hotel that's slowly renovating it's rooms. The one we stayed in a was very nice & clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a nice selection. Eggs, potatoes, ham & pancakes on hot bar.

The room was ok but had food flys didn't like that at all.

The most horrible hotel I've ever walked in including the town. Heading Oklahoma from Arizona stopped because my husband and I couldn't drive any further at 4:00 am with 4 children… Went in to get a room and was told we couldn't get a room because we have 4 kids, asked if we could park outside for an hour and was told no.

I was calling different hotels in the area to try and find a place off of I-40. The lady that answered (Jenny) asked how she could direct my call. I was unsure of what "departments" they have in a hotel but I asked to speak to someone about a room. She put me on hold and left me there. So I called back and instead of requesting to be transferred to someone who could answer my question — I put her on the spot and asked her all of the questions I had regarding a room. She was EXTREMELY unfriendly and based on that 2 minute phone call, I will not be choosing this hotel. I felt like I was taking up her time. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of one because in all actuality it COULD be a great hotel, but I wouldn't know. 0 stars for customer service!
