The Palacio de Marquesa, the general manager, Shawn and his staff are amazing! Each room of this amazing B&B is dedicated to one of the outstanding female artists of the Taos area. I stayed in the Modernist, dedicated to Agnes Martin. From decor to comfort, I will be back here again.

The staff made us feel at home and brought breakfast so we could sit outside in the crisp morning air. Shaun, Lauren & Nick became more than just staff, they became friends. The room was amazing & I learned why an Adobe building does not need air conditioning in July! The grounds are beautiful with every type of flower you can imagine. It is our new favorite place!

The Inn is really quiet and comfy. The room was spacious and the vicinity to town is great. Plus, if you don’t like to walk, the sister hotel offers complementary shuttle. Mark was great, very friendly and quick in responding. Overall, awesome stay.

We stayed in the Matriarch Suite while on vacation for our anniversary, & it was absolutely perfect! The whole facility is stunning, and the service was incredible. We enjoyed having breakfast delivered to us in the morning; the New York bagel (with salmon & capers) was delicious, and while the green chile turkey sausage looked strange & was not at all what I was expecting (it seemed more like a cooked pate'), one bite & I realized it was delicious. Our host at Palacio took extra great care of us & made us feel welcome, with special touches like fresh baked cookies. The whole stay was just a dream! I highly recommend and would love to visit again in the future!

We had a great time. The room was spacious, luxurious and tastefully designed. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. I strongly recommend.

All I can say is WOW! This place was beautiful! You get treated very well at Palacio dr Marquesa. What a gem!

This was a very nice B&B. Lauren allowed us to check in early. She showed us around and gave us good advice on dinning establishments nearby. She also told us how to get fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies each day we were here! Breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and comfy except there is not an A/C unit since they typically don’t need one… we normally sleep with thermostat on 67… so it was warm (for our tastes) until about midnight in our room. We will stay here again, but in earlier summer before it gets too hot!

I loved my stay at this hotel! Lauren was fabulous! No matter what time it was she accommodated with all needs. Lovely accommodations! I will be going back I highly recommend it!

Fabulous! I just checked in and cant shut up about it. A true Oasis! No detail is spared. Lauren is fantastic and spared no detail on how to make us most comfortable. Beautiful boutique hotel with a wonderful history. They really care about you were. With all the discounts and amentites, the prices are beyond reasonable. Even if I never left the hotel this would be a luxurious and relaxing stay.

Friendly and personal. Great breakfast. Quiet.

Charming, elegant, sane, and a beautiful angle of repose in this life. This might be my favorite place to stop all the noise of travel and just be in a place to hear its spirit. It's off the beaten path, but close enough if you need to get there within 10 minutes. Thank you to beautiful Lauren for her warm welcome and historical information on the history and architecture. Each room is named for an iconic eastern women who traveled the world and chose the southwest for their personal history. Totally surprised and unexpected to arrive at this place.

My wife and I spent our 15th wedding anniversary here and both loved it. The room was gorgeously appointed; the perfect blend of modern design with traditional New Mexican features (exposed vigas and whitewashed adobe). A serene, intimate oasis with mature trees, blooming flowers and beautiful architecture. The staff was impeccable and friendly but also respected our privacy. The breakfasts were top notch. Everything we tried was delicious. We'll definitely be back. You won't regret your stay here.

Boutique luxury hotel. I spent five days and it was delightful. The manager Asia Golden runs the place as a Swiss watch. Ample parking with no extra charge as other places in Taos. Beautiful rooms. Note: not all rooms accept dogs.

Possibly my favorite place to stay anywhere in the world. If I needed to hole up to write the next great novel, this would be the place. The Matriarch Suite is like a custom-made retreat, lined with Great Books, crackling wood fireplace, and a huge comfy bed. Breakfast was next-level good — — way, way beyond what I expected, and I was expecting it to be good. I give it my highest recommendation possible. If you're looking for a quiet, restorative home away from home in Taos, this is your place.

Elegant lodging in downtown Taos! If it is full check air bnb. Three bedroom Escapada and the two room Casita de Montoya are just a couple doors down.

Excellent place all around. Manager and staff treat it us like royalty absolutely recommend it. Breakfast is flawless and ohhhhhh mG… That bacon was the best I've ever had!

Chad is the GEM of the property! He makes your stay so welcomed, comfortable and offers top-notch service at Palacios de Marquesa. My mother and I felt like royalty during our weekend retreat. Although there were other guests, Chad ensured we had absolutely everything needed and took time out of his schedule to chat with us at length. Our breakfast was served in "The Matriarch" and delivered as promised, on time! Excellent meals prepared by Luis, and Guadalupe and Sativa's housekeeping was spot-on. My mother has allergies and never experienced any issues with allergens or room cleanliness. Outstanding restaurant and local area recommendations of places to visit. Thank you for having such a wonderful, responsive and friendly team. I will recommend to as many as possible.

If your looking for a real New Mexican experience this is the place, beautify placed in the back off the main road, a quite and cozy atmosphere to get you relaxed and the rooms remodeled with more then enough detail. Great walk in shower and beautiful furniture. Me and my husband got our breakfast served to our door and the turkey green chili sausage was the best, eating in a privet outdoor area was what my morning needed. The staff was very kind to us and made us feel at home! It was one of quietest and most relaxing times that I have had in quiet a while.

My husband and I stayed here last December and absolutely fell in love with this property and the delightful welcome we received. Chad made us feel so comfortable, it was our first time staying there and we cannot wait to go back this December and see the new renovated rooms! This is truly a magical place and it's walking distance to the plaza. You'll love everything about it, the breakfast is delicious.
