The hotel is very dilapidated and the cleanliness of its rooms and bathrooms is poor. However the location is perfect for access to the marinas.

Gorgeous property in a nice neighborhood in Miami! I can see the entire city from the balcony! Very affordable for a 4 star property!

My husband who is 67 and had heart surgery and pneumonia and I tried yesterday to stay there 1 out of 4 wearing a masks in common areas including elevators I asked why manager said he cant force them and its the law no social distances elevator has 2 minimum sign I had 3 loud people force themself in I was threatened by a guess manager said nothing there are surveillance cameras to verify all this I have case number had to call police it was the worst experience I’ve ever had and no one in charge of enforcing the law there so think twice if your concern with this pandemic.

Cool place by the water by shops clean a lil small but decent and great service.

Took a last minute trip to Miami for boat show. Showed up around 9pm and luckily they had a room. Very nice hotel. Pool area and view was amazing. So if your ever in Coconut Grove stop in and stay. They also had an Art show going on.

Great location! Safe, deck with bay and park view! Great pool atmosphere! Will come back as a solo traveler!

A really lovely hotel in Miami. If you are doing business on vacation and wish to be close to the Coral Gables area this is somewhere where you should consider staying. It is handy to coconut Grove and a great many places to eat. It also has great views and many attractions in local walking distance.

Beautiful, modern, elegantly appointed. Gracious, friendly staff. Knockout views, great restaurant and bar. Pool is currently being upgraded, but the property next door is allowing guests to use their pool. I was traveling w small child who was sick, and the staff was so kind and accommodating, helping me get medicines and supplies. Neighborhood is packed with great restaurants. Highly recommend!

Would have rated 5 stars but the parking is an issue here. I'm not a fan of valet parking and in turn have to deal with the meter parking. Besides that, it's a great spot. Nice views, rooms and amenities. One of my favorites when a Staycation rolls around.

Great way to see the bats! The tour was easy to book online. Cost $12 per person. Our guide was adorable, funny, super knowledgeable, and offered us all beverages they had left over from a party. Later in the week I watched the bats from standing on the bridge and I'd say it's a much better view from below the bridge on the boat. Plus all the interesting facts and history about the bats and their Austin stay.

BEWARE OF THEFT when staying at the Sonesta International Hotel and Condominiums. During my stay in one of their condos, I had left my wedding ring and other jewelry hidden in one of the dresser drawers with my belongings. After returning from a long day trip, I realized my jewelry had disappeared. I filed a report with the hotel and demanded a key audit be performed to identify if anyone had entered the condo. To my surprise, a hotel maintenance man had entered the unit while I was out. The hotel is denying all responsibility. If you think you are safe from having strangers’ rifle through your belongings while you are out of your hotel room, think again and find a more reputable lodging option than any of the Sonesta International locations.

(WHEELCHAIR USER) Great place to stay! Our room had a very nice view. For the most part it is wheelchair accessible with elevators and the fitness center and sauna were accessible. Only annoying thing is that the entrance has about 5-7 steps to get in and if you are a wheelchair user you need to use a lift off to the side and wait for their staff to bring the key to open it. So you really don't have the independence to come and go without having to get staff to help you. Not very cool!

Very dependable plays. My room came with a kitchenette and the refrigerator ran all night long. I have no need for a kitchenette. I unplugged the refrigerator, then plug it back in shortly before leaving the room. The restaurant was okay for dinner but very solid for breakfast with excellent service.

Stayed for 2 nights at the Sonesta for a work conference and the Sonesta team did an excellent job. The common areas at the hotel look and feel as though they were redone recently. They felt a bit upscale but not fancy. They were comfortable and inviting. The conference space was great and the team at the hotel was extremely accommodating. The conference food was fantastic. It really exceeded our expectations. Couldn't recommend this place enough for a conference. The rooms were ok. They could use some love, but they weren't bad by any means. They just felt dated. Location was wonderful too. Close to tons of restaurants and plenty else. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! ♥️

Not a resort, just a nice hotel with a pool and a restaurant. Good place for those looking for a quality room to sleep, but fails at amenities. Nothing to do in the actual hotel. TV has only local cable and not even ppv service. Everything is extremely expensive with a 19% service charge on top of it. $30 for vallet parking per night. Beware.

Amazing atmosphere. Extremely helpful staff, and delicious food at the Panorama! Definitely recommend if you're on vacation or a stay-cation. Come eat at the Panorama and get a seat with the view, bring your camera.

Great location on the Grove. Very small rooms but clean and comfortable. We came for brunch at 1110a on Sunday and restaurant closed between 11 and noon. How could you do that, especially when people are checking out and looking for a place to eat?!

For our wedding we had a lot of family members and friends stay at the Sonesta Hotel Residences. They truly made the experience feel special and once in a lifetime. My husband and I spent our wedding night there, and even as locals, our heart was transported to some unknown paradise. One weird thing is Sonesta block rates asked for all our wedding information including room number in effort to give us a gift, but when they realized our room was rented from a private owner the hotel was unable to deliver or notify us. A little bit of confusion exists at the property due to private residents mixed with hotel guests.

It is a cozy and very good place to clear the mind of everyday problems.

The Lobby of the Sonesta is very nice and modern. However, once you take the elevator to your floor you start to notice it's dated and when you get to your room it's like something from the 70s. My room was a deluxe, which basically means 2 beds and a sink. I ordered service one night and that was polite and prompt. I envoys my meal very much. Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and the speed was adequate. Overall the Sonesta Coconut Grove is average at best. It is convenient for business, so would likely stay again.

Small rooms with decent to nice views. Pool on toP is great and overlooks the city along with very nice scenic views all around. Walking distance from the coconut grove plaza and restaurants!

I've had a unit here for the last 7 years. Great building. Beautiful views and amazing location.

The views were great, but the hotel has not been well kept. The desk and chairs in my room were extremely beat up. It looked like they had pulled it out of a dumpster. My colleagues said theirs were the same way. The rooms were dark and not well maintained. I would have been upset had I paid the normal rate for the room.

Overall, it was great. My room was a bit on the small side, but very nice. The view was great and the staff was very nice and helpful. I was here for a conference for work and the meeting rooms and reception areas were great. The only thing that kind of bothered me was that the conference ended at 12 and that was the same time as check out. In an attempt to plan ahead, on the day before I asked if it would be possible to check out 15 minutes later so I could change into something comfortable to travel in, and they were really cagey as to whether I could or not. I ended up changing in the bathroom near the restaurant instead. Other than that snafu, my visit was pretty good and I'd recommend staying here.

It is well located, with good views just that there is a lot of noise from the street. But the rest very well, the pillows are delicious!

I had a wonderful experience in Sonesta! Front desk agents were very helpful, especially Allie and polite, the food in the restaurant is really good and the prices are reasonable! I would definitely stay here again! Thank you guys!

I called to visit the restaurant with my 6 years old niece, I asked we'll be able to enjoy the pool, two persons said yes one at the front desk, another employee at the restaurant, even he asked me the hour of my booking. When we arrived, the pool or floor manager Lane did not allow us to access to the pool, she did not recognize it was their mistake and never offer apologies, or offer something to make us feel comfortable. Even that we were ready to order the lunch (an expensive one) she denied the access to the pool. Totally not sense, I think they don't have an idea of hospitality and client service.

I wanted to wait until I received my wedding pictures to give the Sonesta a review because they're so important when choosing a wedding venue. I'll start by saying that I do not live in Miami, and planning a wedding from another state is complicated and incredibly frustrating. After traveling down to look at the venue we were eventually going to go with, I was shocked to learn it was nothing like I envisioned. Six months to my actual wedding I had to frantically start looking at places within our budget and luckily found the Sonesta. This place is absolutely gorgeous and truly truly affordable considering the city. Katie was the most helpful and patient coordinator on the planet and Marty as well. There were no "hidden fees" or costs that popped up to surprise you later on. They were extremely transparent and always there to accommodate my requests and sometimes, quite annoying questions. That area for the cocktail hour was a complete dream. EVERYTHING came out beautifully and honestly I could not believe the affordability at a moment when I thought for sure I'd be doomed to a cheesy banquet hall wedding. Thank you so so much! It was all the loveliest.
