Very nice room very comfortable bed. It was very poor service in the restaurant downstairs for dinner and for breakfast. The food was very high quality and it was good. We stayed two nights the hot water was broken about 9 p. M. The night before we left. It was off when we checked out the next morning before our flight to California. The front desk was very apologetic but offered no solutions and no compensation. I recommended maybe a free breakfast. When I return to Miami I will be staying in one of the other higher quality hotels downtown I do not expect to return to this hotel.

This Ritz-Carlton is located in the heart of Coconut Grove, within walking distance of many great restaurants. The rooms are spacious and offer views of the marina or the city. As is to be expected the decor is elegant, and the property has a large fireplace (not that I'd think nk you'd ever need it), outdoor eating area with fountains, and a decently sized pool. The real standout is the staff. They were extremely welcoming and polite and provided stellar service to me and my family while we stayed at the property. I wouldn't hesitate to book the Ritz again the next time I'm in Miami.

Room and hotel and service were first class. We would have ate at the buffet but neither of us could eat $125 a person charge for food. I thought that was a little extreme.

Grounds are very well kept, rooms are spacious and elegant. Staff is friendly. Location is nice being within a walking distance to coconut grove. Only drawback is the checkout time which is to early and the check-in is often delayed.

Needed to spend my 3 free nights and this was the only place in Miami available to use them at unfortunately. If you're coming with 4 people in one room, stay away from here. They only offer 2 double beds or 1 king. Two people in my room ended up sleeping on the floor or in the bathroom because there isn't an option for a cot. The room wasn't dusted. Everything in the room was old. Phones, carpet, bed and so on. Room sliding door was really hard to open, our door had to be slammed to close it. Food is super expensive on site, walk a couple blocks for food and drink. Valet is $40 a night. Positives: Close to bars, food, gas station, ocean. Couple block walk to everything in the grove. Ubers aren't that expensive to get to downtown Miami or South Beach. Maybe $20. The pool is decent, but they don't clean up much outside. Towels and food were sitting there for 2 days. Concierge was nice. Free champagne at check-in. Sauna and steam room is free for guests in the spa.

A gorgeous hotel with a beautiful pool area. I ate at the pool bar and really enjoyed the ceviche and a mojito. I was also offered water to hydrate as soon as I arrived.

Front desk needs more coaching when it comes to communication with customers. When I arrived at check in Christina took my card charged it and then told me a fee of $150 would be added to the rate that would be paid. She did not tell me that the $ 150 would later turn into $300 plus the $447 up front. When I tried to resolve the problem the entire staff was not helpful into the service. Except one young lady who gave us a glass of wine to clam my nerves. But for the first time visit it would be my last because I felt that the first impression is the last impression and I hope that someone will take my bad experience as a learning experience. The staff pick and choose who they are going to be nice to so I checked out the next day instead of staying my expected time. I don’t want an apology, I want better results for other victims that could be like me.

We came here for my brothers wedding ceremony and then for brunch the next day. Very nice facility and staff, the food at brunch was absolutely amazing!

Residence very nice, quiet and cozy.

Breakfast service was the worst I’ve ever had. 30minutes to get a coffee cup and water and the place was practically empty at 9am. Three trips for two different service girls before said coffee cup had coffee, sugar, milk and a spoon to stir. The food came in half the time and was pretty good. Oh, and an 18% service charge.

What a beautiful place and right in the neighborhood. Very attentive staff and great food. Sat outside on a beautiful afternoon and had lunch. Would highly recommend stopping by.

Live in South Florida? Or going to the Coconut Grove Arts Festival? This might be the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Walk in the front door and you will be greeted by gorgeous arrangements of tropical flowers. There is a rooftop, heated pool and a nice spa. The Sunday brunch is lovely with offerings of fruit, freshly baked pastries and various tapas. It’s definitely time for a staycation!

It was first class from the m okkment I dtove up gor valet parking. Attendant grabbed my suit jacket from the back door, gave me my receipt. Someone openned the door. Servetal people asked me whast function I was attending. They proceeded to tell me which way to walk. When arrived, 2 bars were set up and th ey were quick. Orederves were excellent, tuna, meat, crab cakes, great music, inside at dini g, which was beautiful, sat down, waiters asked us if we wanted wines or drinks, got them right away. All night long nothing but cheerful friendly professional service from staff who seemed happy to be working and to serve. Iiving in miami for some 40 years, never seen such a real and fantastic happy service with a smile. Tou che! Smitty and Ana Dawson.

I received a deep-tissue massage at the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, and had the most relaxing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was treated to a relaxing and blissful experience that allowed me to unwind from the otherwise trying and stressful week I was having. I arrived a bit early and was able to enjoy a complementary mimosa, while making use of their sauna and steam room. My masseuse was fantastic, he applied the right amount of pressure to my back and shoulders, as well as my IT band issue. Afterwards, I was able to relax in the lounge and wait for my friends to finish their massages. TL, DR: treat yo' self. It's completely worth it.

Great location and service. Like very much the availability of sunscreen at the pool. Reason for 4 stars — Wi-Fi is not free! Cost $12.99 or $19.99. During our vacations we stayed at 3 hotels — The Palms in Miami Beach and even The Silver Palm in Key West offered FREE Wi-Fi. For the amount we paid at the Ritz-Carlton that was least expected. Also the safe box in our was not working! : ( Nowadays, technology is a must and not offering to your guests is a BIG dissapoinment.

This Ritz property has old school charm with exceptional service! The hotel itself is around 8 floors and the rest of the floors are residences. There is a nice pool area and large fitness room. Downtown Coconut Grove is less than a ten minute walk from the hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful throughout our entire stay! My favorite was the attention to detail from the house attendants in bringing extra coffee pods, water, and towels when they noticed what we were using the most of. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the floor to ceiling marble bathroom! We had a nice size balcony facing downtown Miami/Miami Beach where we could see all of the New Years fireworks for miles down the coastline. A great hotel to spend our New Year for sure!

World class service. Open doors for you. You never have to leave. Pool is fun, pool food service, and off season rates like now in late June were amazing and no crowds. In house coffee bar has a barrista espresso drinks, almond milk. In room they have nespresso machines.

The staff is incredible! Very attentive to every detail, however Lazuli lounge has over time in care. To correct those details.

This hotel is very elegant and clean, great customer service and very close to the grove with tons of entertaiment.

It's a lovely place. Design is beautifull, chefs are very good too. On Fridays night they host several musicians who play a quite relaxing music at the lobby, service is not excellent, but the environment, the climax make it worth. Totally would recommend to a friend.

Was attending an event for Entrepreneur Magazine recently and the Ritz Carlton had provided an amazing production to compliment the event. The food was awesome as well as the display.

From the moment you pull up the service starts… valet opening your car door, the bell hop opening the entrance, service desk quickly checking you in, literally hospitality staff standing in the halls ready to assist anyone that needs anything. Granted I was here for a conference and have no clue how much the food cost, but it was delicious! The robes in the rooms and the beds… so comfy. The coffe maker in the room and the balcony… lovely! If you are looking for 5 star service, look no further, it's here! Though no beach is close to this hotel (walking distance) I did walk to the coconut grove walk, it had lovely restaurants and very nice people as well.

The food that we were offered was not nothing of another world.

I come to the Ritz Carlton because I like the customer service. This one is lacking. No one opened the door for me the entire time (which has never happened at any other Ritz. ) Instead, the valet's were standing around chatting. One time, I was walking from the hotel to my car) after pushing open the hotel door, and a valet literally would not move out of my way, he just stood in front of me and stared at me, and I had to walk around him. Are you kidding me?!?!?!? I asked for a new robe and slippers… housekeeping did not replace them… nor the wine glasses, or regular glasses, or shampoo. Housekeeping also yelled at me while I was leaving my room 'WHEN YOU LEAVE?! ' … and then 30 minutes later a man knocked on my door asking when I was leaving, … even though I had already confirmed a 4 o'clock late check out with the front desk. Unacceptable. I went to the spa to use my $100 credit, and the 'supervisor' told me about 10 times what a favor she was doing for me by letting me get products instead of treatments with this $100 credit. She was also poorly groomed, SMACKING GUM, her clothes were faded, and she didn't bother to put on make up or cover her blemishes, as she tried to tell me about some great creams she used on her face. SHE WAS AWFUL! SHE SHOULD BE FIRED! Ruddy and Kirk were bright spots of the trip. They were helpful, kind, and attentive. All in all, this is not what the Ritz Carlton is supposed to be. The service was awful and really needs a lot of help.

The hotel it's self was nice but the staff barely spoke English. There building a building next store and they started working at 6am so we got woken up ever day to the noise of jake hammers. And the food was really bad. We ordered room service twice and ate at the restaurant once and they messed up orders each time. The maid service was not very good either. Over all I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for the price u can do a lot better.
