Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff.

I have loved this hotel for over 30 yrs I so disappointed in the front desk service I recently received I had made reservations for a friend coming in from out of state for 4 nights she got sick and unable to make it I called to cancel first two night and extend for two more on the back end The front desk wanted to charge me for all of the nights and was unwilling to work with me. The charged me $755 plus two $40 charges I’m a member of Marriott rewards called them They took care of it. I’m still waiting for refund and have booked my friend less then 1/2 a mile away at a bigger, nicer Marriott with a concierges that actually cares about you and willing to work with you I will never recommend this hotel again which makes me sad cause I was there for its grand opening. Horrible customer care.

Love coming here but the pool was very cold. People could not get in pool. Will be going somewhere else until they get the pool some heat.

This place used to be nice. Ive stayed there several times in the past. Now it seems a bit run down. The beds are bad and the TV was broken. We supposedly had a deluxe room. The starbucks had the worst coffee. The restaurant is gone. I won't go back.

Enjoyed our stay, room was clean, beds comfortable. The food was great. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Air didn’t work, pillows were HORRIBLE! As soon as you lay your head down it sinks all the way to the bed. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were just older pillows and got new ones from the front desk but they were exactly the same. Dirty floors. There was an open safety pin on the bathroom floor along with empty wrappers and other garbage and dirt. Hair all over the shower!
All white bed spreads n sheets stained or just dirty. I thought Sheratons were supposed to be nice. Who gave them a 3.5 star rating? Might as well have stayed at a Motel 6. Never again will I stay at a Sheraton!

Such a great evening! The atmosphere at the banquet was lovely.

Pros: Kind staff, good food at the training and a surprisingly nice hotel gym. Cons: Bloodstains everywhere, on sheets, walls, and carpet. Possible bed bugs in the hotel — blood stains on sheets were consistent with pictures online of bed bugs. I did not find any live bugs or signs of active infestations but I did find fecal signs on the mattress. Holes in sheets. Excessive noise level on the 2nd floor after reasonable quiet hours. No free Wifi. That’s right $160 a night in 20…19 and no free Wi-Fi. I switched rooms after finding ejaculate on a head board the first night and the second room was not better. The staff that did nothing for a solid 48hrs after learning about issues such as bloodstained sheets in second room to correct the issue (I received clean sheets 3 days after telling staff of the issue). At that point I gave up. If switching rooms had upgraded me to a room covered with blood a third switch did not seem like it would improve anything. All told I will never return to the Sheraton Uptown Albuquerque Hotel and I advise you to never frequent it. See my profile for pictures — I will make sure it is set to public. p. Best customer service I have a received from a hotel. Their staff is just awesome!

Our room was excellent. We had a jacuzzi in our bedroom. I also appreciated the fact, that we were able to choose not to have the maid to clean our room. We stayed for more than one night and thus cleaning every day the entire room was really not necessary. Staff was friendly and we used the Starbucks in the ground floor for a quick coffee. There is a pool and the top floor is a lounge (if you get access to that).

A very elegant place, still! Yeas ago this Hotel was known as, The Classic. It was classy too & always had a fancy classic car parked up front. It had a restaurant that featured old time views out the "windows" and they moved past giving you the feeling of being in a train's dining car. I've seen diner plays here. Attended party conventions here. I had the most unusual interview with "consultants international associates" here. I see all these old traces of the past here, & presently it is still a very nice place. Comfortable rooms, nice staff.

I have stayed several nights here at the Sheraton, and by far it is the cleanest, most professional hotel in the city. The nights are quiet, the staff is friendly, the bar is small but cozy. I've considered getting a club level room but even just the regular rooms are far superior to any standard room anywhere else.

This hotel is great. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and they are pretty good about room service and getting you stuff you forgot. I've stayed here about 5 times this year and it's the only place I like. Rooms are quiet and you really only ever here people in the hallways.

I thought this would be a nice, comfortable and uneventful stay, not exactly. This is the noisiest hotel I’ve ever experienced. There are cars street racing throughout the night and you can hear everything… toilets flushing, people walking around. The staff is great and friendly and the property is beautiful. The air conditioning vent is set up to blow straight on your head, but it is Albuquerque, so you can’t just turn off the AC. We needed 1 extra bath towel, but NO towels were available for 40 minutes. The staff never brought me a towel.

What a weekend! Staff was awesome with recommendations and ideas of things to do including local restaurant suggestions. By the way, Albuquerque has some incredible eats. And if you are looking for an event venue, we poked our heads into the ballroom set up for a wedding reception with all but the flowers. Amazing…

Great stay at the Sheraton last night. Room was great. Bed firm but comfortable. Very clean environment. I had planned to enjoy the pool but decided to sleep in instead. I will definitely check it out next time. I am impressed by the size of the room and the little details. Would help to have free Wi-Fi!

Pretty room but in whole the experience was a nightmare. The hotel manager is very rude and housekeeping is extremely LOUD and obnoxious early in the morning. We were assigned a room that was already taken and I walked in on a naked guy getting out of the shower. House keepers have no manners and were so loud talking and laughing waking me up before I wanted to! The guest services are really bad! My Anniversary was pretty much ruined because the manger treated us like squatters when we complained about the horrible guest service.

Really nice hotel with a pool that's open late. Rates are pretty good too when I stayed. Staff is friendly and the rooms are nice.

My family does holiday buffets instead of family meals at occassions like Xmas and Easter, etc. This place had the best in recent years, when we went for Mother's Day. Fresh, lots of selection, kind waitstaff, and similarly priced to others. Give em a go if you can't cook this holiday. Remember to make reservations!

I was driving across the country back from college to Los Angeles and was just passing through Albuquerque for one night. I got a call at 12:15am notifying me my car had been broken into and my property had been stolen. My car's driver side back window had been broken. A computer monitor was stolen, and there was damage to other property including my newly earned diploma. It was the security guard who first noticed the brake in. He stated they only have video surveillance near the building and none watching the lot. He went on to add that they get break-ins about every 2 weeks in the summer. While I know the theft isn't Shearton's fault in any way, I'd figure they'd have bought a more robust security system due to the frequency of the theft. Beyond that, the room was fine and the staff was nice enough. I had to do a little more work than I should have to get comped for the night, but they eventually eased up. If you are planning on staying here with a loaded car, park as close to the building as possible.

The bed was lackluster at best. You could feel every internal piece and it was not comfortable at all. Between the mattress and the almost non functional " air conditioning" which is basically a cold water system. When asked the building engibeng said that they had not turned down the temperature of their chillers yet. So needless to say we didn't sleep very well the two nights that we were there. To be fair the staff was very responsive and pleasant and the hotel is in a great location. You have to consider the age of the building.

A bit of an older hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I was surprised by how dirty the bar was. : — (there are probably better places to stay in ABQ.

Always a pleasant stay! But even better that the staff are professional and honest people! I left my Apple Watch in the room and checked out. I didn’t even realize that I had lost it. Housekeeping turned it in and they contacted my husbands employer to let him know we had left something behind. I’m extremely thankful that they went over and beyond to get it back to me. Amazing customer service!

A typical hotel experience. The Cafe /coffee shop was nice, great for a quick breakfast when I didn't have time for a sit down breakfast. Staff every helpful when realized I had left something in my room after I checked out.

Terrible Terrible Terrible no other way to explain it. First of all no parking there. Second of all my room smelled bad. Third no food at night. Fourth of all which is the biggest for me was when I tried to make coffee in the morning and the half and half smelled and looked so bad… and all they offer is a complementary coffee for this really? I'm never coming back here.

The hotel was clean and the bathroom very nice. Also note that on weekend the Hotel bar is full. Overall it was good experience. What I don't like is that the TV has no USB output, and the pool area smells a lot like chlorine.

A good place to stay when traveling. They don't open the restaurant in the evening but do serve food in the bar area. The food is good but leans toward the spicier side of local cuisine. They do charge $50-75 for each dog which is high in my experience. There is a dog run area along the driveway with dog poop bags although way to many people don't use them.

We have attended an event every year here for the last few years, and the staff has been exceptionally friendly, courteous, and professional. The venue is always clean and maintained. The food is top notch.

The All you can eat Fried Fish Special tonight hits the spot! Great dinning area w/live music near by. Super friendly service will get me back for another visit.

My visit was just one day but I loved the room and I liked that it was clean. There was no Wi-Fi but it was the only bad thing about my visit which is not really necessary.

Excellent location and access to all places.

We stayed at the Sheraton for a quick weekend trip. The standard room was sufficiently pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space to move around in the room. We stayed with our baby and the staff provided a basic crib. For a great meal close by, head across the road to the Fork & Fig!

Front desk check in was perfect! Alex was the best, he went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We upgraded to the club rooms which were super nice, loved the robe so comfortable. Having club access was great, the free breakfast was perfect. The pool was so nice they had the lights dimmed and the pool and got tub look liked they were glowing. Lots of sitting and neat lil sitting nooks! Location was excellent we were right across from the Coronado mall and restraints.

When we walked in we are not greeted I had to ask if this is where to check in. The receptionist was nice but not helpful. The sink was broken, there was dirt all over the bathroom floor, black marks on the wall, the shower curtain stunk like it hadn’t been changed in awhile. When they fixed the sink they left all the dirt and stuff that came off while repairing it all in the sink, counter and floor. The room smelled a little musty. I was not pleased at all with my stay. And the pillows were horrible.

Room was a great size and provided all amenities we needed. The staff was cordial and helpful with all needs. The only downfall was the requirement to pay for Wi-Fi.

I visited this hotel for a work Christmas party held in a ballroom. The room was nice and the service was very good. There was a cash bar provided. The bartender was adequate, albeit fairly overworked since he was the only one around. Drinks were about $9 for a simple beer, pretty steep. Overall a fair experience.

Clean rooms, nice beds. We decided to stay another day and the blonde lady at the desk was very helpful and friendly. They also have a nice bar and bartender.

My husband and I enjoy staying at Sheraton Albuquerque updatown at least twice every year since 2011. We needed a place convenient to where our son lived while attending the University of New Mexico Albuquerque. The hotel rooms are clean with a staff that is always there for whatever we need! This trip, we had an interaction with one of the staff members and next we were greeted with a plate of cheese and crackers to our room. Great service comes from great leadership — with Damen Kompanowski at the helm as General Manager, we know why we stay here every time! Thank you!

The Thanksgiving brunch costs around $40 per person and is worth every penny! I think it's worth $65 per person so $40 felt like a good deal. It was first class and the food was AMAZING. I will definitely go again next year!

Amazing, outstanding, incredible staff. Absolutely felt like an honorable guest despite only being in the building for about 8 hours. Clean and modern interior. Better than most Sheratons.

Really nice hotel in a good location. Staff were brilliant, we were on our honeymoon and the reception staff arranged for a bottle of bubbly and chocolate dipped strawberries with a card from most of the staff signed sent up to our room, it was a really nice touch. The room was really clean and comfy, the bar was always lively, but relaxing and the food really good.

First off, let me say that Sheraton won my business as a result of this experience. My gf and I rolled in from Dallas at around 3AM last week. The first place we attempted to stay was a literal dump, where we found hair in TWO different rooms, in the beds. Long story short, after several attempts to find a place to stay, we happened upon the Sheraton Uptown, which was able to put us in a CLEAN king suite at a reasonable rate. Better still, the next morning as we were checking out, Alex (working the front desk) saw that we didn't check in until 4:30 AM and were leaving at like 10 AM, as we needed to get back on the road. He immediately offered to lower the room rate to only $50, as we had hardly been on the property but for a few hours. Now, I'm a loyal guy when it comes to companies that provide stellar service, and this is a shining example of just that. He absolutely did not have to do that. I can't articulate how grateful I am that he did. After such a s**t night, it was a really refreshing act of kindness. He had no idea what we had gone through the night before, which made it all the more meaningful. Kudos to Alex, as he's won you a new customer. Thanks guys!

Recently attended dōTERRA Post Convention Fall Tour 2017 at the Sheraton.
The parking is easy in easy out. Everyone was helpful. The atmosphere is great, location easy to get to, plenty of room, food smelled good but didn't get a chance to dine.
I'd definitely recommend the Sheraton.

The hotel is very nice, but is in some need of upgrades. It is clear in one of their ballrooms that rather than using the money necessary to fix a chandelier type light fixture that they have taped it back together. As a whole those whom we interacted with were very pleasant.

The staff is great! The parking is difficult and my room is old and worn. I'm using the present tense because I'm still staying here primarily because of the prime location to family. I was really hoping for more because the online pictures looked so good. Maybe something will wow me during my stay and I could raise my rating but for now just.

Every where we travel we always stay at Sheraton Hotels. This time we got club lounge and when we entered out room a roach was in our bed. I went to the front and I asked for a refund or to move me to a clean room. THE MANAGER tells me when you find the roach bring it and they will move you unacceptable! After arguing with him after 30 mins he gives me another room. How in the world do you ask your client to get the roach we pay extra to be on the club lounge area top floor for that time of service. I wont be staying there. The Sheraton In Kansas City, MS ITS 5 STAR Hotel. Work the $180+ dollars per night.

Disappointment. Room not very clean, bed and pillows uncomfortable, hallway conditioners noise throughout the night. We were expecting something better from a Sheraton.

I came as part of a group from work and the hotel was very accommodating for us. They had a grab and go breakfast available since we were all working early mornings. They also set aside a conference room for us to unwind in at the end of the day. The lobby area was really nice and rooms were spacious and well designed. Showers were particularly weak though. Barely a trickle of water.

We needed a pet-friendly hotel. Even though I knew it was pet-friendly I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was no evidence of any pets having been in the hotel! It's just that great! The room we had is very spacious. There are many amenities. It is perfectly located.

Perfectly fine hotel. Nothing too fancy, nothing wrong. The seal on the sliding doors doesn't quite seal up, so any wind is WELL audible.

The hotel and people working there are awesome, just be aware of your car while parked in the parking lot, we were an Army family moving to Washington state so we had our cars full of all our belongings… unfortunately the city is full of the worst people in our country, they busted out 2 of my windows and stole all my military gear. The hotel management were really apologetic even though it was not their fault. So if you're passing through on a move I recommend staying outside the city. If not then I recommend this hotel, just park in a very visable area.

I enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown. It was a 15 minute Uber from the airport and located near the Coronado shopping center with views of the mountains. Hotel is in good shape with fairly spacious and comfortable rooms. Small but nice gym. Kind and helpful staff. Would visit again.

Great place to stay. Hotel is located at a great location with places to eat and the mall within walking distance. Check-in was fast and easy. Staff are friendly. Only problem with this stay was our first room had hair all over the pillows and the room we got moved to had a heater that didn't work. Rooms were clean overall.

My husband decided to surprise me with romantic weekend getaway. The hotel has been awesome and the room, fantastic. He definitely chose well.

Great location with in walking distance of dave and busters, coronado mall, a HUGE Target among many other things. Rooms were good size with very comfortable beds, bathroom was quite big for a hotel room and the service was superb. Immediately greeted upon arrival and very fast check-in! Overall amazing place to stay!

Wow, talk about value for your money! We have a large size room, upgraded amenities, indoor pool/jaccuzi and a fantastic club lounge that serve great afternoon snack/breakfast. The location is also great and close to a lot of good restaurant. I can not believe this is a cat. 2 Starwood property! What a bargain!

Lots of options around. Right in the middle of the city. No complaints. Buffet breakfast but not free. Seems like plenty of conferences use this location.

We went here for a new years celebration with a friend and our kids. The staff was very accommodating at finding us rooms close to each other so our kids could be near each other and even moved us up to the club lounge level to meet that need. The facilities were clean and well kept. We will likely return.

Horrible experience. Staff is bland if not outright rude. Not at all welcoming or friendly. Accommodations are outdated, poorly tended, and dirty. Carpets are disgusting, headboards are chipped, refrigerator is dirty, sink had dirt in it. No microwave in room, not even one per floor, again they are dirty, outdated, and very low power. Hotwire said this is a four star, I'd say lucky if it gets a two star.

What nut deemed this hotel's 'four star' status? The walls and configuration are set up for optimum noise, rather than comfort. The neighbor's toilet flushed in my ear all night and the slamming doors in the hallway echo like an amphitheater. The noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The food choices, meh. New York City street parking is easier than finding a space in their 'guest' parking lot. My floor needed vacuuming, my door looks as though someone tried to break in, the water pressure is at half-tilt and there is an extra charge for room access Internet. The staff is very nice so I would pony up to 2 and a half stars on their behalf, if I could.
