Clean rooms, friendly staff, great food!

Pulled in at 1am was happy to see an off duty police officer as security. Parked by him and a blue bin with my wife’s wedding dress still got stolen out of the bed of the truck. Talked to the front desk as soon as I found it missing and they couldn’t have been less help. Cameras only cover front doors evidently. The manager was called over and she could care less, only said, “we’re not responsible for anything stolen in our parking lot. ” I asked if they felt they weren’t responsible then why even have the off duty police officer? Just to have a false sense of security? 1 star only because I can’t rate less, next stop is to check on the police report I had to file. Good job Hilton.

Stay here at least once a year while in Albuquerque. Nearby shopping mall and lots of good places to eat. The hotel’s free breakfast is better and has a southwestern flavor. Highly recommended.

This Homewood Suites location is beautiful, located directly between 2 indoor shopping malls and an upscale outdoor mall all in close walking distance. It is also right off interstate 40 making it easily accessible for traveling. The rooms are very spacious, with a cooktop and full refrigerator. The beds were a bit firm for our liking, but still comfortable. There are 2 TVs, a small dining table, and sink also. The outdoor pool area was both beautiful and under used, as we had it all to ourselves for the bulk of our weekend stay. After reading all of that, their hot breakfast setup in the morning is still the best thing about Homewood. Every meal is different, but delicious.

Excellent stay. Wonderful staff and a very nice room — very clean and pretty much new. The breakfast was well maintained. Of course being in Uptown you're very close to LOTS of food and shopping — within walking distance. This will be my place of choice regarding a Hilton property.

This place is amazing! My kids and I stayed here one night and I wished we could have stayed longer. The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were great. The breakfast was awesome!

Third time here & it is the best place to stay! Close to shopping & restaurants Uptown and the freeway. There is construction getting into the freeway exit which can easily be avoided using alternate routes & surface streets. Staff is great as I stay for around 2 weeks when visiting Albuquerque. Love the room, love the area & staff. We got a really towel fashioned into a penguin. Ana in housekeeping is so talented! Thanks, Homewood Suites!

Lovely place but poor communication between the employees. We checked in and went up to the room. There were men doing repairs in the room. We said we would go back downstairs and change rooms. We were told to not that they would clean up and leave. The walls had been touched up and the caulking was fresh in the bathroom so we were told basically don't touch anything. The screws had been taken out of the tracking in the closet and were sitting on the floor. The dirty air filters from the a. C. Were left leaning against the bed and we had to put them out of the room. When we talked to the front desk about it the gentleman blushed and said they would make sure things were fixed before the next person stayed in the room. That's it… No real apology. It wasn't until I took the survey about my stay they sent to my email that I got an email apologizing that I was unhappy with my stay and hoping I would consider staying there again. The pool is tiny and they do not have trashcans near the pool. A large family were having pizza at the pool and all the kids threw their plates on the ground. My son cleaned up all the plates and took them to a trashcan outside the pool area on the other side of the courtyard. The bed was comfy though and the view of the sunset was nice from our window.

The hotel is nice, standard Homewood. Unfortunately they don't serve beer or wine at the evening social. Brenda was fantastic to work with!

Beautiful hotel. Clean. Modern. Looks like a tiny apartment with a huge bathroom. Will be using this when we come this way again.

The location of this property could not be better. Directly across the street from luxury shopping mall, ABQ Uptown, you can walk to pretty much any shop or restaurant you can think of. Rooms are standard and the ones I saw were clean but a little dated. They were undergoing a renovation in one of the wings to update the rooms. Free breakfast in the mornings was small but sufficient and the courtyard next to the outdoor pool was just lovely. The only issue I had was that we reserved a 2 bedroom suite, but when we arrived there were only 1 bedrooms left and someone had to sleep on the tiny couch in the living room.

Former employer who was fired for reporting the general manager for breaking the law by opening the pool when it was unsafe to swim in! She'd rather risk a guests child's life instead of hearing a customer complain. And unless you are a diamond member you will not get the same service as a diamond member. They go out of their way for diamond members when they should treat all guests the same. As far as the food goes, they serve outdated food (personally seen it) and the kitchen would not pass a health inspection on their best day. One more thing if you stay on the first floor be careful because the A/C vents on the outside of the building can be pulled off and the unit can be pushed in as they are not mounted at all and someone can gain access to your room. Also there are a lot of car break-ins and when I asked why there wasn't security camera's the GM said they wouldn't put them because then the hotel would be liable which is pretty sad. You can verify all of this on your own just ask them and if they lie to you (which is common practice) check it all out yourself. The cleaning staff is great but the GM and other managers are very shady and lie alot!

Rooms are clean and fairly standard. Evening buffet style dinner, simple food, not much variety but… hey it's free.

Normal rooms for this level of hotel. *BEWARE* Our truck was stolen from the parking lot last night. Parked near the door where they suggested we park to be near elevator. NO SECURITY CAMERAS OR CCTV RECORDINGS.! About all they can say is 'sorry'. This is supposed to be the nice side of town, but don't believe it. It seems the biggest industry of Albuquerque is THEFT! Do NOT plan your vacation here in this city. This hotel has NO security on premises.

"Conveniently Located" The staff was friendly, with one exception. * The front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping staff were extremely friendly. Our rooms were clean and well supplied with toiletries. The cool air temperature was perfect for sleeping. This facility shows its age. Yet, it appears they are in the process of updating by sections. Let's talk about breakfast. While the breakfast station was filled with the usually stocked foods, the temperatures for the hot items surprisingly ranged from cool to cold. All items in warming tubs were at room temperature, or cooler. After tossing my first cold omelet in the trash, and excitedly following an employee returning with a new batch of omelets, I found complete disappointment. It was cool to the touch. Again, I threw away another cold omelet. *Instead of going without protein, I decide to kindly speak up. I requested the third omelette to be heated. The employee questioned me and responded with the reasoning of the cooled omelet to the patrons "leaving lids opened which causes the food to get cold". I proceeded to explain the batch was new and delivered by another employee and continued to imply that my omelet needed warming. He did not seem interested in making it right without a debate, but to just heat it up and see me on my way. I was only partially pleased he completed my request. I would return for a room, but consider a warm breakfast elsewhere.

I just completed a 9 night stay at the ABQ Homewood Suites at Uptown. This is a great hotel in an excellent location right across the street from numerous Uptown shops/restaurants. The suites are spacious and in great condition. Check-in is painless, and general hotel services were performed well. Fitness center provides essentials that I enjoyed several times. I had two minor problems that were promptly addressed by hotel management. Breakfast is great with green chili routinely available. I have stayed here before, and I will stay here again.

This hotel is located in a great area, it wasn't too far away from anything. The rooms were nice, the service was nice, and the breakfast was a great bonus.

Great convenient location to lots of restaurants, shops, and a movie theater. Room was great and hotel met all my expectations. Will definitely stay there again.

Clean room, good condition, comfortable bed, good pillows, windows open (nice to get fresh air), good shower, low quality tea options, have had much better breakfast and dinner at other Homewood (roughly same stuff, but here it's poorly prepared).

Pretty nice place. Very convenient to stores like Trader Joe's and other shops. Walking distance to places where you want to go. Very happy with the room we got. They gave us the city view not the back of the hotel. The parking can be sketchy since I don't like seeing broken glass on the ground which means cars may have broken into. Other than that we like this Homewood suites that we have stayed so far. Pictures are taken at night.

Rooms are a bit worn, but the staff is very helpful and friendly. Quiet area, plenty of parking. Heating and cooling was a bit iffy (I had to move rooms because mine didn't work) but other than that, no problems.

Staff was friendly and the room was great. Will definitely stay here again.

Appreciated note left by housekeeping wishing us a pleasant stay, and the swans made from hand towels but otherwise everything was "ok.

Great room for the price with friendly/helpful staff. Great breakfast but the Asian take-out night less than satisfactory. I found it weird that there was no fan in the bathroom or towel rack near the vanity.

I was recommended by a family member of this place. I was skeptical… I'll admit. But when I entered the room, I was amazed! Not only that… but the quietness! Could not hear anyone walking around above us… nor next door to us! Checking in, the girl was super friendly and informed us what was happening that evening in the lobby. Awesome place! Love it and not only that, I found a new place I'll be staying at from now on when I stay over in Albuquerque!

The front desk workers, where nice and courteous, the rooms are nice and spacious great location all the stores are in the right place easy to get to good restaurants good food great people great atmosphere.

We stayed here the night of 8/11/2017 on our way across the country and it was comfortable and clean. It is in a nice area of town with a ton of places to eat surrounding it. Bonus: it's really close to the breaking bad house!

My family and I initially stayed at another hotel called Nativo Lodge in Albuquerque before we found this one, and we had a horrible experience at Nativo Lodge forcing us to cancel early because of poor service and lack of room accommodations even though we had already paid our reservations 2 months in advance. Since we arrived to Homewood Suites, the experience has been so welcoming and positive. We enjoyed our remaining stay here at Homewood Suites very much, as it made us feel "right at home". We would definitely come back to this hotel every time we visit Albuquerque again!

The rooms are great! Loved most of everything! I was just sadly disappointed in the breakfast selection! They had cheap taco shells filled with eggs and sausage that were terrible, there was a few other common things but not a huge selection. Everything else was great, just not happy about that.

Great place, breakfast buffet very local including tacos! As always, beds are awesome! Could easy been 4 stars but only 2 carts for luggage available in the morning is unacceptable for this size of hotel.

If I could have give this hotel no stars, I would have! Traveling from Tucson Arizona, with my 94-year old aunt, I was told that my room that I booked a month ago was given to the guest who had the room before us. Apparently they wanted to stay longer and Cassandra T. Allowed them to do so! I specifically booked a two room suite, accommodating both my husband, myself and my aunt. Cassandra T is the only manager available as Tiffany the other manager was away on vacation and unreachable. Cassandra told me I had two choices A room with 2 full size beds 2 separate rooms. Neither of these choices came close to being conducive to our needs. My 94-year old aunt cannot be in a room alone and a full size bed is not suitable for myself and my husband. Needless to say I was very upset, but Cassandra was unmoved and insisted she did nothing out of the ordinary. I want to make it clear that I booked a room at this establishment solely for the 2 bedroom suite. Upon leaving this hotel I was told that I would be charged because I didn't cancel my reservation 24 hrs prior! Unbelievable! As we were walking out Cassandra and the other desk clerk mocked us by laughing and waving goodbye! I have in my life of traveling encountered such un professionalism.

Hotel was clean, staff friendly. Pool was small but nice. Good area. My problem is, I booked here as it was listed "pet friendly" and I asked in advance if a small dog was ok, no response. I checked in and told them, I have one dog. They state no problem. I never signed anything reg the price or cost. I was charged $100! This is totally ridiculous. I travel with my dog a lot and have never paid more than $25 per night.

No complaints. Just passing through so this location right off the highway was nice. Near several restaurants and the ABQ uptown area with plenty of shopping and restaurants. Staff was friendly. Room was nice and clean. Adequate parking.

Decent room, aside from the bloody booger smeared on the bathroom door. Breakfast was a disaster. Half of the food items were gone, spoons and forks were gone, and the juice containers were empty… At 0930, a half hour before breakfast was scheduled to be over.

Rooms were okay. The front desk was very friendly and prompt with service. The AC has problems and half the lights didnt work. Very unimpressed overall.

The room had bugs in the extra bedding, the TV did not work. The shower head was not working right. They was remodeling the 2ND floor so lots of hammering sounds during the day. But, it did have a new hideaway. The room was newly updated. Don't stay here.

So with a confirmed reservation and a family of 6, I had called ahead to confirm our room. When we got there, even as a Hilton Honors Gold member, we were asked to find another place. According to the clerk, this place constantly overbooks rooms and is on the hunt to try to make it right. It's tough to make it right for a traveling family of 6. Very professional, but a very BIG negative satisfaction. We had to pay for our room elsewhere in town because there wasn't a suite large enough to accommodate us. It was a big inconvenience having to stay elsewhere in the city.

I have stayed at this location about seven times now, as I'm from a nearby area & fixing to move to Albuqerque, & also spend a great deal of time there anyway. The first five times were just fine. Good, even. It's not the most upscale hotel, but it's good enough & the location is great as well as the view from upper floors. What made me write this slam review is the last two stays I've had there. The hotel is in the midst of a remodel which is fine, I understand that. However, the last two times, both rooms had something wrong with them from cleanliness issues to a tub that would not drain. The thing that really got me this time was that some guy came knocking on our door about 11:30 am on the day of checkout claiming to be maintenance, on a Saturday. I was looking through the peephole when I asked who it was & he said that he was with maintenance. Folks, they've been doing their renovations for two of my stays now & the people doing those renovations are in somewhat of a uniform that didn't match this young man's. It just raised some red flags is all, especially in the sense that it doesn't seem logical or safe to give your remodeling staff permission to knock on guests doors requesting entry if it's anything less than an emergency. My dad was in the hotel business for a number of years & says that something like that is completely unacceptable & unsafe, & he's right. So, as of recent, stay at your own risk. You may have a good stay, or it'll be the pits.

Completely appalled by the recent service I have received at your hotel. Why do you send out surveys for people to fill out if you don't respond to them? From being guaranteed a room rate that wasn't followed through with, to promised points I never received due to me STILL staying in your hotel after a hot water outage and then a complete water outage. I even encouraged my co-workers (4) to join me at the hotel because I thought it was very nice accommodations. Now all 4 of us are going to collectively get screwed over due to your management not following through on their word of what our rate would be. It's not our fault you have a complete polar shift in your employees during our stay is it? Now we're the ones getting punished. You see, what makes this interesting is, we're all active duty military, so we're tied to certain cost restrictions per room, but now since your management wants to raise the rate we were promised, it is going to take money out of our pockets, and food out of our children's mouths and ultimately ensure that we never stay there again. Nicely done Homewood Suites. Damn joke you are!

The room was very clean, it had 2 tvs so the kids could watch what they wanted. The bathroom was also very clean, there were complimentary toiletries available. Coffee and tea were available in the kitchenette. There was a microwave and microwave popcorn available as well. Full size fridge was very useful. The sofa bed was comfy as well.
