Amazing hotel, ambiance, comfortable and great grounds.

Great service. Great breakfast. Great tooftop bar. Rooms are a little small and have no desk to work from. Otherwise, 5 out of 5.

Horrible, all carbs breakfast. No quiche as advertised. Staff defensive, not accommodating. Spend money elsewhere.

Everything was perfect 👍 The only thing they didn’t have a microwave but overall everything was good.

The breakfast was fabulous The jacuzzi was nice and hot. Tbe rooms are a bit small but very comfortable thank you.

Upon arrival we were told that there would be no turn down service. No problem. I can take care of folding down the comforter and sheets. What we found out two days later is that their definition of no turn down service is that a maid will not set foot in your room. We don’t need a full cleaning, but it would be nice to have coffee cups and glassware removed. Why have a placard for the door asking if you want privacy/maid service if they have no intention of coming into your room. When I complained about this, they said they don’t have maid service for any stays over one night……Think about that one.

Loud Highway noise from the drag racing wannabes, wrecks & sirens. Staff is nice. I can stay at a Hilton cheaper so I definitely won’t be coming back.

We were here 10 years and it is just as clean and beautiful as it was back then — impressive!

Rich with a great story. Clean. Superb staff. Hunter and Jerry not only made our stay wonderful, they made us want to become regulars. We watched Hunter get berated by an intoxicated woman who wasn't even staying there. He kept his professionalism and didn't loose his cool. This hotel was super cute and fun to walk through. The facility itself is cute. The waitstaff is fantastic. Absolutely amazing. The food and drinks at Apothercary lounge are absolutely terrible and very pricey. If the food and drinks were up to par I would come back but for $285 a night we will NOT be back.

A vintage hotel with a modernized look. If that makes sense. Roof top bar and restaurant is amazing. Definitely worth the price.

The parking lot is filled will CRACK addicts and will try to steal your luggage before you even get in the lobby. The management has no idea how to protect their customers and lets the vagrants attach the customers without protecting them. Management is overwhelmed by fear of the area, DO NOT GO HERE IT IS DANGEROUS! If you care about your family stay somewhere else!

My wife was visiting Albuquerque around the time of the riots and upon parking in the hotels lot was accosted by a drug addict and his buddies having out in the lot. She was terrified beyond belief, and when she informed the management that she didn't want to stay they refused to issue her a refund. This area of town has deteriorated to the point where even getting NEAR this location is hazardous, but to then be treated like the local riff-raff int the area is even worse! We had American Express dispute the chard, since she did NOT stay. They had the nerve to fight the dispute! She stayed in the new Hotel Chaco, which makes this place look like the Motel 6 or worse. Worst management! worst hotel! avoid avoid avoid!

Love this place. Will stay here every chance I get. Love the vibe, staff and location. Beds are comfy, rooms are great and the premises are clean and cozy.

The Rooftop Restaurant is a nice place to unwind with cocktails and Tapas. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.
Definitely will be back if in the area.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff very friendly. I love how they incorporated the history of the building. However for the price the rooms had no microwave, no ironing board "iron yes" but no board and no coffee maker. The breakfast options are very limited and not good. When we were checking out people were yelling and screaming and literally fighting in the lobby, I said to the maintenance personal I hope you have a better day with no crazy people and he stated that's all we have around here. I will definitely not stay again.

The staff were all very sweet. I enjoyed the Apothecary Lounge. The bartenders make a mean old fashioned. The rooms were clean and modern. Will stay here again in the future.

Apothecary was so accommodating to the bachelorette party I was hosting there. They got us a nice quiet area and was able to reserve a section even though they don't usually take reservations. Definitely appreciated all their willingness and patience with us!

Very nice and what a great staff. We booked this hotel as a rest stop on a road trip out west. We were pleasantly surprised at the overall experience with great rooms with a spacious modern appointed bathroom. Several great places to eat within walking distance, we chose Holy Burger which was awesome. The hotel has a light breakfast bar which was also great.

This is a tough 4 stars. This place is totally fine for cocktails with a nice ambiance in a world (Albuquerque) where cocktail joints are few and far between. The drink menu is pretty good. The service was particularly attentive, but the drinks were still slow to make. Last call orders were a fun touch. The details of this place are what makes it a run of the mill cocktail bar vs something like The Copper Lounge (which has better drinks/vibe but infinitely worse service). I'd def come again, but moreso because of lack of better options. Nothing against this place, it's good. But speed and details are what's missing.

My husband and I stayed here while attending a wedding and we loved the historical ambiance of the place! Our room was clean and the staff was friendly. As a history buff with an interest in medical history, I particularly loved that you had items on display from when this building was being used as a hospital. The Apothecary Bar was great with fun drinks and food. It gets a bit crowded on weekend evenings but that's to be expected. 10/10 would stay again :)

Whenever me and my wife come to Albuquerque this is the only place we stay. Awesome Hotel all around. Staff is always been friendly. Rooms are five star for for sure. The rooftop Apothecary Lounge is one of the best bars with the best views in all of Albuquerque. Plus you can say that you've stayed at a former mental hospital. That's what it used to be many years ago. I can't say enough great things about this hotel. Highly highly recommend.

This hotel was amazing. We had excellent service provided by all staff and I loved how they even integrated the past history of this hotel. We were part of a wedding party and enjoyed the dinner options provided. I loved how breakfast is served late and all the food options. We loved the comfortable bed and large shower as well. Well worth the money spent!

A fabulous hotel for a very affordable price! They have everything from a gym, to a hot tub, to a very nice breakfast spot. Loved this place. The staff was over the top friendly, and helpful. The hotel was spotless and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

If only the rooms matched the stunning lobby. Absolutely gorgeous main floor but the accommodations were a disappointment… teeny tiny rooms and the first thing that hits you upon entry, is the price tag of a Fiji water ($5) really?! Would rather local NM companies' purified water (gratis) than the non PC beverage. The beds were not truly a full, more like 3/4 of a full and not comfortable, same for pillows. Yes, Frette towels are impressive but would have preferred those fund$ go towards soft luxurious pillows and a memory foam bed topper. The bathroom was quite nice, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very professional and courteous. LOVED the furry Asst. Mgr, adorable (see photo)

Super impressive hotel. Very clean and hospitable. Obviously remodeled relatively recently. Good Continental breakfast served daily. Great location in the middle of the city. Real cool if you're into Route 66. Very nice rooftop bar. We had a nice visit.

For cocktails and good service.

Hands down one of the coolest hotels I have stayed in… and I travel a lot. It is the full combination of charm, chic, friendliness, and location that make this hotel amazing! I wouldn't even know where to begin to say this place is amazing other than just to say it is definitely in the top 10 of places I have stayed and it will be my first choice when returning to Albuquerque. Not to mention, the stories around here are fabulous and include that it was once a hospital and the grounds include separate buildings that were once the doctor's quarters and now rooms to sleep in. On top of that, the breakfast is truly amazing and is included and many notches above a typical free breakfast. Don't forget the Rooftop Bar.

Very good breakfast included. Really poor gym (a treadmill, an elliptical, and a universal machine that takes an engineer to configure for each exercise) with no free weights, no TV. Room very nice and comfortable. Wireless free and good. NOTE: They have a $50 early departure fee if you need to shorten your stay, even if you give them a day's notice. This really sucks, and they would not budge on it! Their website says no hidden fees, but this is a hidden fee!

Beautiful building and the rooms are great. Very clean and modern. That being said the gym is severely lacking and smells a bit like piss. The breakfast is okay, but for the money spent I would appreciate some fresh cooked breakfast and not just cold quiche and pastries someone offers to microwave for you. The rooftop bar is a wonderful spit with great views. With a little work this could be the best hotel in Albuquerque.

The drinks and food were delicious. Our server April was friendly and very attentive to our needs. She made our experience at Apothecary lounge a night to remember. I will be definitely returning soon.

Very nice hotel. They did the best they could with the existing space they were given. Beds were comfy, rooms were very clean. Rooms a little small but again it's utilizing the existing space. The apothecary lounge was really nice and the views are exquisite!

Awesome hotel! We got stranded in the ABQ airport, and found this gem online. Booked in minutes and nearby the airport. Best part, the bar upstairs is amazing and even got a shuttle to dinner! … AND the hotel even made us a snack box for breakfast as we were leaving earlier than posted breakfast hours. Totally recommend!

Amazing food and really inventive cocktails. The rooftop patio is worth coming for alone. It's a great time!

Was attending for an office Christmas party, overall loved the experience, we were mostly in the apothecary lounge, and we were enjoying the balcony and the bar at the end of the night. I'm not sure if the hotel provided the catering, but the food was good and the only thing was that the dish was a little more well done than my liking, but was overall a decent meal. They provided us with a nice conference room for our dinner and a well decorated area for our white elephant and the deserts were very good, as well as having a great selection of coffee and tea.

Top-rate place with a casual homey feel. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I was out in Albuquerque on a business trip and found the staff to be helpful and friendly at all times. I got a touch of altitude sickness the first day and the staff took great care of me. On top of everything else there dog friendly which makes me even happier.

The staff of the hotel were very attentive to our dogs. The room was comfortable and well organized. The patios and the garden were perfect places to rest.

The hotel bar, Apothecary, was wonderful! It's a rooftop bar, great selection, very reasonable happy hour prices, and the service was amazing. We never had to wait for anything, she was extremely persobable and gave us fantastic service. I would 100% recommend this place for a chill relaxing drink environment. They offer mixed drinks, wine and beer, so there's something for everything.

I thought about this for a while, and I decided that I needed to take the time to write to you in regards to our recent stay at your establishment We were greeted by a pleasant staff with smiles and the helpfulness that cannot be undercut. However, here it comes. While our stay was good, I cannot give it an outstanding rating for the following reasons. 1. I called an spoke with your staff prior to booking. I asked about food and was told that the bar did in fact serve “snacks and small” food items. 2. I was told that there would be a breakfast service in the morning until 10AM. 3. I was told about the ice and “coffee service” on each floor” I guess the main short coming of your hotel is in fact the food service. We went out and about the town and decided to come back to the hotel to have a drink and snack before retiring. Upon arrival in the bar, we were told immediately as we got off the elevator that the “kitchen was closed”. We found out at that time that there were not even vending services for a snack. I really don't understand this. A bar can increase profits and the staying time for customers by simply having what I call finger food up until closing. The next thing is the consumption of foods helps absorb and breakdown the alcohol so a client will not be “as intoxicated”. So, the following morning, we went into the breakfast area. Two young ladies were standing behind the counter next to the juice. That was all they did.

Very accommodating hotel. I attended a wedding and stayed 2 night. Room was well kept and hotel was clean throughout. Would go again. Bar on roof is absolutely a great time!

This hotel was terrific. I was in NM for a very brief business trip, and it made my stay so enjoyable. The staff was a delight, and the Apothecary rooftop bar was excellent (and the bartender is outstanding. I can't remember her name, but she has dark hair and glasses. She is super cool and makes delicious drinks). The rooms were very comfortable too — and immaculate. The breakfast that's included was tasty, and the outdoor seating was a bonus. This is a great value too. Overall, one of the most pleasant business trips I've had, thanks to this hotel.

Hotel Parq Central was a lovely nights stay. Checking in was fast and very welcoming. We went to the Apothecary rooftop bar for drinks and snacks the view was wonderful. The room was quiet and the curtains did an excellent job blocking the light. I've wanted to visit this hotel since it was established. I can safely say it exceeded my expectations.

Service on the roof top was very slow, plus we had to keep asking the waiter to repeat himself because he wasn't annunciating his words making him difficult to understand. The appetizers we ordered were just ok. Great views and awesome girl who wasn't our waitress that gave me a blanket got the roof top bar the 3 stars here. As for the hotel, on another visit to Albuquerque where we actually stayed in a room, it was too cool and certainly deserves 5 stars. Loved it and love the history. I lived in Albuquerque when this place was a hospital and I love what they've done with it. Spiff up the service by certain servers and this place would be top notch!

I booked a room for my wife and I on an anniversary weekend. This place is very charming and decorated to match its history. Our king room was a little small, but you have to consider it IS an old hospital room. We were a bit warm in our room. We tried to turn the thermostat down, but it never got cooler. After a phone call to the front desk, it got a little better, but we ended up having to ask for a fan, which they promptly provided. The bed was comfortable, but not over-the-top. The courtyard out back is beautiful and we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast the next morning. Parking can be an issue around 6-10 pm as many of the locals come by to hop the roof-top bar. I think the hotel should reserve spots for guests only. The staff was very friendly and accomodating (a great dining tip led us to High Noon for some great food). Overall, it was a very sweet and memorable experience in a neat city. In spite of some very minor inconveniences, we would like to return to Parq Central very soon.

We went to The Apothecary Bar at Hotel Parq Central. The bar is classy and the drinks are very unique yet pricey. It took aproximently 30 minutes to get four drinks! Our party was considering getting something to eat but abandoned the idea when it took so long for the drinks to arrive.

Drinks and atmosphere are great! Pimms cup is highly recommended as well as mi'lady cocktail. The earl grey insulated gin is amazing!

This place is so haunted! I'm sorry people that own/work this place… I've seen the documentary on it… I wouldn't stay here then again I might…

The wife and I had drinks here for our anniversary. Great atmosphere, killer rooftop patio with the best view of downtown out there, tasty food, classic cocktails, great service. A bit pricey, but great quality.

My go to adopt when driving across country. Prices are a little steep, but worth it. Call in advance to make sure they have a room available. It's classy, accommodating and very clean.

It's not that I like complaining. It's that I've stayed in plenty of nice hotels, so I know from experience that this one ain't one of 'em! Our room was extremely small. I mean REALLY small. So small that in order to squeeze one chair in, they had to put it next to the bed (no desk), which left only a few inches between it and the bed. We barely had room to roll our luggage into the room. In addition, the bed sagged, and the room was so hot (AC wasn't working properly) that I woke up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat. And what's with the locks on EVERY door, even doors within the hotel to public areas and the elevator? Are people trying to break in all the time? Is this a dangerous place to stay? And speaking of security… When checking in I brought our printed confirmation with me to the desk and presented it, along with my ID and credit card to the receptionist. She carefully reviewed the document (as if looking for something wrong) and then handed my ID and cc back to me saying she couldn't accept it because the reservation wasn't made in my name. No, it was under my husbands name, something that would never be an issue at any other hotel, but she insisted that he (who was outside the front of the hotel in the car waiting to find out where our room was so he would know where to park) come inside and present his ID before she would issue our room keys. What is wrong with these people?! No other hotel we have ever stayed at made this non-issue an issue.

Went to Apothecary Lounge for drinks, I got the Vesper Martini (I'm a huge James Bond fan) and my date got the Old Fashioned. They were good although not very strong and kind of sweet (personal preference though). Service was great and the rooftop patio was beautiful.

Roof top patio is the spot for having a drink. Best drinks are 12$ but worth it. Have fun and be safe.

Very nice hotel. Rooms in the main building are small, but clean and comfortable. It is fairly quiet even though it is near the freeway, hospitals and heliports. The rooftop bar is pricey but has a great view of the city, Nob Hill and the Sandias.

Really nice hotel. Nice, quiet, plenty of parking. Friendly staff, bar on the 4th floor is good. Not a lot of options but good. I didn't like having to carry two keys. A actual room key and gate key card. I still recommend this place over any cheap hotel.

Rooms are great, windows even open a bit to let you enjoy fresh air. Star of the show is really the bar on the 4th floor, with rooftop patio that has great views of the city.

VERY UNHAPPY with our experience with the management of The Hotel Parc Central. We paid for our stay in cash, but they have put a hold on our debit card for the amount that in effect has them being paid 2x! Why didn't they inform us that this was going to be the case when we checked in?! They charged us $10 more to pay in cash then they have billed out debit card — but can't explain why. When we checked out yesterday, we were told that our bill was paid in full. Today, we were told that we had an outstanding Lounge fee?! We didn't bill anything to our room at the Lounge! Asked to see the GM when we were told all of this over the phone, they agreed. Drove straight to the hotel (20 minutes later), the GM had left to "go to breakfast"! Thanks for ruining our 23rd Anniversary.
