Friendly staff, very clean, super quiet. Left at 4:10 am via rental car for the Balloon Fiesta and made it prior to any pre-festivities.

The room was large and comfortable and super clean, they need more out door seating for smokers that would be nice, my daughter smokes and I wanted to visit her but had no seating out doors to enjoy each other's company.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here and love the rooms! Comfortable beds with lots of pillows! Nice big in room safe! Nice big fluffy towels very clean! Mini fridge and huge tv! Breakfast was yummy fresh fruit and everything for your oatmeal and then some! Eggs, ham, green chili, potatoes and pork carnitas with tortillas and raisin bread was delicious!

The bed was amazing, the pool was freezing, the elevator was terrifying, the room was clean and plenty of restaurant choices… the bed was seriously one of the most cradling beds I have ever been in, I legit slept like a baby, the showers were stand up which I was happy with, nice tile in the shower, looked fancy. Hair dryer was nice, not a normal risky-dink hotel hair dryer. Would stay again.

My favorite place to stay by the airport. Large rooms with good amenities in the room, with very quiet central air (rather than window units). Rooms are also very quiet, have stayed here five or six times and never heard anything from neighboring rooms. Breakfast is pretty good for hotel breakfast, with at least a couple of fresh items that are a step up from the usual powdered eggs and tasteless bacon. For a good measure, there's always been hot green chili available to put on your eggs or anything else you like. Good sleep and a warm breakfast helps make travel a bit more pleasant.

Rooms are nice, beds are on the small side. Somewhat of a strange layout, the TV is hard to see from certain spots, but that is a small issue. Our fridge was not working and the shower wall was needing some maintenance, again not major. My family enjoyed the pool and free breakfast. Every employee we talked to was friendly. Would stay here again.

I came here for work. When I got here they asked for my credit card and I told them the bill was on my company account. They told me it was just for incidental reasons. I gave them my card and they ended up somehow charging me for the entire week on my debit card. Well since it was the 4th of July when I saw it, I'm currently sitting in my hotel room by myself, with no money to go anywhere. I'm giving 2 stars because the room was actually nice. It's a good thing, since I won't get to see anything else in Albuquerque. Update: I just went down to check the status of my refund, and the person who said they sent the refund request never did. And when I was explaining what my issue was to the lady at the front desk, she interrupted me to say "and who are you supposed to be? " I'm the customer people! What happened to customer service? Is this not a thing anymore? Also, they claim to be "green" because if you want to reuse your towel, if you hang it up, they don't wash it. Well that's just an outright lie. I've hung mine up every single day I've been here and they take it to wash every single day. Personally, I'll never pick to stay at a Hyatt, if I have a choice. This was a horrible experience, and decided it was closer to a 1 star experience, so I changed my rating.

Hard to find entrance at night, behind a cluster of other hotels. Spacious sitting room with a bar sink, partitioned from bedroom. Cramped bathroom, need to step around the toilet to close door & towel rack on the far wall of tub shower. Lots of storage ledges & cubby holes. Internet slow to sign on. Bedroom had only lamps, no wall switch. Good 24 hr workout room, medium pool. Unique breakfast, no waffle maker. Nice decorative finishes, large mirrors & sliding closet door. Big TV. Soft beds, but tight on space around them.

Cost was about $109 before tax (included booking discount). Got a two bed room (two twin sized beds). Room was good sized! Plenty of space. Had fridge but no microwave. Curtains did a poor job blocking morning light and cooler was ineffective due to filter being fully plugged. Breakfast was good, varied, and freshly made. Coffee urns removed at 10:30 for no reason at all. Hotel felt secure and safe (big choosing factors), so lived up to that expectation. About an average experience all things said.

Rooms are clean and spacious, was greeted when I first got here as a long lost friend. Breakfast was hot and plentiful continental style. All staff make an effort to greet you when they see you.

I had a wonderful stay! The beds were comfortable. The room was CLEAN. The breakfast was wonderful. The hospitality service was exceptional. Our TV remote was broken, and the front desk woman promptly exchanged it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone without reservations. I booked this hotel through Expedia.

They are really helpful, and all of the staff is kind and courteous and most importantly Paulette and the manager and annie are all as well as the gentleman who runs the night shift on Sunday nights are professional. The area is also clean couch in lounge is great. I was there for a week and it was pleasant.

The room was comfortable however the front desk lacks in customer service. Checked in online and room was ready! Waited 15 minutes when I arrived and then clerk arrived annoyed that he was the only one working as chef and front desk. I told him that I was already checked in. Still annoyed was rude! I informed the front desk in the morning and was just “oh I’m sorry”. Manager didn’t come out to even speak to me. I will not stay here again.

Rooms are nice, staff was friendly and overall the hotel is nice. Breakfast is what to expect from a free breakfast. The elevators are absolutely terrifying! They grind, bump, clang, jump and bounce. They jolt a few inches after stopping and when doors begin opening. So bad that even though we were on the 6th floor we still used the stairs. Thank you for encouraging us to exercise.

Upon arriving at the hotel I was greeted warmly and given the run down of amenities. My room was on the second floor and while the elevator sounded rough (opted for the stairs the rest of the trip) my room was clean and well furnished. Honestly I enjoyed my stay better than the previous stay I had at a hotel that was 3x more money. Highly recommend.

The hotel room was fine enough, but the shower wouldn't turn on. The room key didn't work after a day. The room key I got to replace the first one didn't work immediately. People were nice. Food is good and free. Wi-Fi was fine enough. Overall a good experience held back by two annoying things.

Clean room and friendly, helpful staff. 3 minutes from the airport. The complimentary morning fare leaves a lot to be desired so I went to IHOP which is only minutes away. Best price of the surrounding hotels.

Great experience! Clean room, good customer service. Ceramic cups for in-room coffee. Sturdy luggage carts. Little hard to get to — took 2 U-turns — but worth the effort. It's now our go-to hotel in Albuquerque.

It's a pretty good place. The rooms are nice and the food downstairs is pretty good. Although it did take bit of a while to get to me. You have a decent selection of beer and everyone's Pleasant. If you just remember to pay attention to your map when you're pulling into this hotel, you'll be okay.

Staff is informative and friendly. Rooms have some nice features including mini refrigerator, work desk, sectional sofa sleeper and lots of storage space. TV has a panel near it which allows guest to easily add their own streaming device/DVD player. The TV options mentioned along with the sectional sofa make it easy to have friends or coworkers join you to watch a movie or game. Fitness center is lacking strength training options and cardio machine s are a little dated. If you are a runner a good run recommend by the front desk is along University. Good sunset/night run with it's expansive views overlooking the Western sky and City lights. Mountain views in the distance.

The folks were so friendly and helpful. It's not a high end Hyatt so expect a casual atmosphere. One of our beds sunk quite a bit in the middle but still comfortable. Lots of pillows. The shuttle (up to 5 miles) takes you places and picks you up, which is a huge saver! Breakfast is a good mix of carbs and protein (oatmeal, yogurt and eggs) and an attentive staff. They were cleaning a lot when we stayed so that made me feel comfortable.

Nicest hotel I've ever been to, especially for the price. The rooms were very spacious and the furniture was so comfortable. It's also conveniently close to the airport and a shuttle bus will pick you up and drop you off from there. The free breakfast was also pretty good!

The hotel was good but it was crowded and one of the elevator was not working they took almost a day to fix that. We had booked a two double bed room but the double beds were small to me compared to many other hotels where we have taken similar rooms. Even the room was very cramped. Quite near to the airport and highway is just by your side.

Clean. Good service. Rooms look renovated but the A/C needs updating. It has an old thermostat that only has an on or off switch on it so the room is either freezing cold or super hot. Other than that the place was great.

Our stay was lovely. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Very spacious as well as an assortment of breakfast items — complimentary! I would definitely return.

First time that I stayed at this Hyatt Impressed with the staff, friendly and helpful. I also liked that this hotel had a hearty breakfast, and offered menu items cooked to order in the evening. They offer a shuttle service to the airport and within 5 miles of the hotel every half hour from early morning into the evening.

My Wife and I were about to eat breakfast. My Wife grabbed a lid off a pot of scrambled eggs. She burnt herself quite badly. She asked Carlos (a kitchen employee at Hyatt) to get a potholder and informed him that she had just burnt herself. Instead of being attentive or acknowledging what had happened, he just walked away. Maybe, and I'm not trying to be rude… maybe Carlos literally doesn't speak English. Other than that, Marge and Kim were super sweet and down to Earth. Kim got my Wife a bag of ice as soon as the situation was brought to her attention. Another bag of ice on our way out. Kim is the front desk manager and Marge would tend to the people in the dining area. If Carlos understood my Wife, he probably should not be working with the public. I work at a jail and if I treated an inmate like that after getting hurt, I would get fired for willfully neglecting my duties as a peace officer. Update: I just went downstairs to get my Wife a Starbucks coffee. Kim gave us that coffee free of charge. We weren't seeking anything for free but what an outstanding employee and person. I'd originally left 2 out of 5 stars. I can not do that to this place because of one mistake.

I deliver pizza here all the time. It's the 4th most decent hotel in my delivery area. Good choice.

Best hotel stay I have had in years. Amazing staff that make you feel like you're at home. Amazing breakfast. The rooms was the best I've slept in ever. Thanks to the night staff for a great happy hour.

Well I'm currently staying across the street at the Holiday Inn. I was getting really tired of the restaurant/bar over here, so I tried The Hyatt. And I will not be going back. For starters, the food menu is very limited. I ordered the Chicken Korean Tacos, and I asked them to hold the onions. They did not. After they corrected the mistake I dug in and found the food to be pretty bland. … Up to this point, I would have given this place a three star rating. However, something happened during my meal that was absolutely appalling. As I'm eating my very pleasant bartender chose that as a good opportunity strike up conversation. And he does this by asking me my thoughts on the tragedy in Las Vegas. I expressed my disgust and remorse over the event… at which point he decides to gleefully tell me about how the whole thing was a conspiracy. He was almost giggling as he told me that there was no way that the government wasn't using this to cover something up. I don't mind that this person has these idiotic thoughts. But to share that in a setting like this was wildly inappropriate.

In three decades of traveling and staying in hotels all over the country, I have never encountered a manager who is as big of a jerk as the nighttime manager at this hotel. My wife's flight arrived at midnight. I had booked the hotel room for she and our daughter two nights before. She has the email from Hyatt confirming the reservation, and the manager or person calling himself the manager can see my credit card number in their system. But because the hotel's computer system has confused my wife with her sister (same last name), he is refusing to allow her to stay. He keeps claiming the reservation was made through Expedia, when he can see the email from Hyatt saying the reservation was not made through Expedia, but through Hyatt directly. Worse yet, it is midnight and not once has he even bothered to say "I'm sorry about this" or "Let me call another hotel. " I checked with another hotel in the area, and the person at the desk said that the guy at the Hyatt could easily fix Hyatt's mistake, but that he clearly doesn't care. I will be calling Hyatt Corporate in the morning. What horrible customer service.

I gave 4 stars because the employees I spoke with were friendly and professional. I justp noticed a few things I thought a Hyatt should not have had. One of the elevators seemed to need some repair because of the noise it was making. But still worked fine. The other item was, the 4th floor I stayed on had a mold smell when you got off the elevator and down towards the left. Rooms were good, beds good, pillows good. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice place, clean, very friendly staff. Staff IG guy Hector was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile. Hangers were a commoditie that was limited to eight per room. We were there two weeks and bought hangers, the housekeeping could have been improved on. Didn't always take out all the trash, didn't clean the room or make the bed one day, no towels or coffee left. Had to go to the front desk and ask for them. We were told it was because we left a do not disturb on the door, the housekeeping staff was mistaken. The floors were never vacuumed the entire time we were there. It has to be said though that the staff was very friendly and fixed what they could. Five stars for them, three stars for housekeeping.

Great Hotel nice location, very close to highway so its perfect for getting to downtown quickly or UNM, halls are marked with no smoking signs but certain floors smell like smoke, probably refurbished in the past, breakfast was good, pool area is nice, workout area is good, check in and check out quick and easy, nice to see ABQ Police presence at various times of the day in the parking lot, my only complaint is the person who was behind the food counter seemed to be rude to some of the guest who were asking for more eggs or waffles even telling one guest that he wasnt going to make any more waffles cause he was closed, there was ten minutes left till they had to shut down and it only takes 3 minutes to make a waffle, they always seemed to be in a rush to shut down the breakfast area quickly and ahead of time, I would know I stayed for three nights.

The room's safe was not working. Lock was missing. Horrible attitude from staff caring for the breakfast area. Breakfast is very simple. If you have children bring your own dvd as the channels available does not have a good selection. For the price? Other hotels give more…

Prepaid for the room on Cheap Tickets but when checked in was given a room having a shower only. It was not a handicap accessible room — just a very small king bed room on the end with only a shower. Front desk said that was what came with a "high-floor king bed, sofa bed room". Not so. Read the listings for these rooms. Also I have stayed in the same room type at the same rate here in the past and I know what the room should be. This was a scam and I will not be scammed by this hotel twice! BUYER BEWARE.

The hotel is very nice, has wonderful large rooms and comfortable beds. Pool is outside, but is heated so it is ok as long as the weather is good. Staff leaves a bit to be desired, as the front desk at check in tried to check me in under another guests reservation even though he had my ID to use for my name. Other than that, staff is efficient and friendly.

Great room for a great price! We booked through Priceline, and got a room with two doubles and a sofa bed, which worked great for our entire family. Pool wasn't heated, but the rooms and food we ordered more than made up for it! Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

So close to 5 stars. Room was awesome and exactly what we needed. Clean and spacious. Shower has low pressure. Staff was phenomenal! Breakfast was so chaotic. The layout of the breakfast area and finding seating is lacking and the only reason they lost a star. Had a great evening and was very impressed then the breakfast layout just frustrated me — perhaps it was a busier morning than normal but man. Definitely would stay here again but would hit up breakfast earlier. :)

Wonderful, friendly staff. Great help from Sina, Chandra, Katt and Mike while checking, checking out and during breakfast and departure. I would ABSOLUTELY stay there again and recommend it to anyone staying in the Albuquerque area.

Just recently stayed here and it was great! Room was clean LOVE the water pressure and towels, believe me if you stayed at multiple hotels you will know when I say the water pressure was not that pokey stingy feeling and the towels were not all ruff and dry. The staff was great and the breakfast was good all I'm saying is the stay here was an awesome stay! I am definitely making the Hyatt mines and families go to vacation stay!

I stayed here a few weeks ago, it was a very strange experience. I checked in late at night. The night person who was there was very strange. I think his name was sino. He kept asking me if I wanted some of his goodness, and I asked to just be checked into my room. Luckily I got my keys and made it to my room, on the 6th floor. When I got there, there was a loud humming being emitted from the walls. I can't sleep like this. I called down to the lobby, and Sino said "sir would like me in ice? " and started talking about how he liked humming back at home in istanbul. I was so disturbed I just went to bed. Luckily in the morning they had actual workers present. I won't be staying here again — they need to hire people that can speak english.

We stayed for a quick overnight stay. The room was clean, quiet, aesthetically pleasing, and pretty dark at night. Our sink got clogged right away and the blow-dryer quit working mid use, but I feel like those were pretty random and not reflective of the hotel quality. There were plenty of clean linens/towels, and I didn't have to search around or things like the controller and menu, as they were placed in a "common sense" place. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was great and included: French toast, egg sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, bread with jam/peanut butter/ Nutella, bagels, pastries, many coffee and tea choices and many juice choices. Stuff that was supposed to be served warm was warm and stuff that should be cold was cold. Two complaints would be the lack of parking (only 1 or 2 open spots in the whole lot) and the fact that there is no open wall outlet next to the beds. Most people want to have their phones next to them at night, but we had to charge them across the room due to lack of outlets. Overall a wonderful stay! We plan to come again.

Very clean and a wonderful breakfast bar. Highly recommend although there is no hot tub and pool is just meh. Rooms are very spacious and inviting.

What a fantastic hotel experience! The staff was warm and accomodating. We needed to drop off our luggage a little before check out and they were nice enough to give us a freshly cleaned room at 12 noon before normal check in. The room was awesome for the price. I have stayed in places that were easily 3-4 times the cost of this room with similar amenities. Airport shuttle and local evening shuttle a huge plus. Location was excellent. Breakfast in the morning was actually early enough that we were able to munch a little bit before our 6 am trip to the airport. Highly recommended.

First time in Albuquerque, New Mexico my experience was amazing. We love our stay at the Hyatt Place. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and well stocked. The shuttle service was nice especially when I left my phone in the van. Armando the driver turned back and brought it back to me. I will be returning to the hotel on my next vist! :)

Stayed overnight with my wife, 4yr old, and 2 month old. The king and pull out beds were plenty for us. I also liked the room layout. It gave some sense of privacy between the two beds. The breakfast options were also good. Yogurt, today, bagels, and an egg and bacon English muffin sandwich.

We stayed in your hotel December 24 and 25th, 2015 while visiting our daughter and family, then we stayed the third night in a Marriott. I very much preferred our stay in the Hyatt Place (room #301) to the Marriott. In my opinion it was cleaner, for one thing. And FINALLY a hotel which had a woman's comfort and convenience in mind. The main thing I appreciated was the full-length mirrors in the bathroom area which made applying make-up so so much easier. This is a real gripe to me in most hotels because they either have one full-length mirror in the darkish entrance and I have to drag over a chair and sit down and hold my make-up in my lap, bring a lamp with me or open all the drapes, etc for decent lighting or I have to use the little mirror with bad lighting in the bathroom and… sorry, guys, that just does not work. It makes me very annoyed and grouchy. So, the set up in the Hyatt was ideal. I liked having the closet where it was and the bathroom counter. Please congratulate the designer / architect. The staff was wonderful at both places but I hope to stay in the Hyatt Place every year because of the lay out. Thank you!

Very nice clean rooms… Breakfast is exceptional for a freebie and the pool is clean. Beds are really comfortable. Hyatt place is always my go to place for business or personal travel. Pricey but worth it…

Great service, very convenient to the airport, recommended.

The rooms were well maintained, staff was very friendly, and we were able to park our U-Haul truck and trailer within viewing distance of the room. The only minor issue was we were told breakfast would last until 10, but it was actually over at 9:30.

Dirty rugs! Dirty and stained couches, hair in the sink the on line reservation I made gave me a price of 90.00 and I was charged 104.00, pool was not heated so my kids couldn't even make use of of it. By the time the water warms up it will be time to check out. : (I had high expectations for Hyatt. But over all customer service was nice lay out of room. Is nice, comfortable.

We booked a block of rooms for our wedding and the rooms were very nice. We had a bit of trouble with the staff, but once we were able to deal with management everything went smoothly.

Service and rooms were good, but they are still in the dial up technology. 60KB for y internet connection. I will never use Hyatt again.

Before booking, we were told their breakfast was a full one. All we've had are eggs and toast. No BACON, no sausage, their adds have breakfast sandwiches, no such thing. Staff are extremely quick to start cleaning and clearing the continental breakfast, very greedy. There's pool was dirty with balls of hair and debris. My family sat near black widos. The tub doesn't drain as you shower. Popcorn ceilings, outdated thermostat.

Terrific place at a more than reasonable price! The staff was courteous and very respectful. The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise! It was healthy and well put together.

I really enjoy this place, great staff, always friendly, greet you with a warm welcome. We have our corporate meetings here. The breakfast bar and the cafe are amazing.

This place is great! 24-hour room service with a decent menu and reasonable prices. Very courteous about my Service Animal and had no issues. Staying here on a cross-country journey, wouldn't hesitate to spend $84 on a room like this in any city! Sectional Couch, big screen TV, Mini Fridge, semi-separate bedroom, very spacious. Staff is helpful and attentive.

Close to the airport, shuttle van upon request, good location (Safe and well lit). If your traveling by yourself or with +1 rooms are nice and comfortable. Staff helpful and monitor peoples going and comings.

Close to the Airport, staff is super nice. The Place looks great but my room had a funny odor like sewage but not very strong. Overall decent.
