Let me start by saying I have over 65 room nights in Marriott properties this year. I would never stay in the Albuquerque Marriott EVER again. Rude staff, a room that had no: Iron, clock, or towels! And to top that off, it costs 8 bucks minimum to use the business center. What a waste of space and manpower…. I would not stay here again, even if it was free.

Really clean, and the beds and pillows are heaven!

No fridge or microwave. We have been traveling for 5days on a motorcycle and stay at other Marriott hotels they had both and then they were on lock down.

Not during the pandemic for sure. Very nice staff but only a skeleton crew. Had to self serve myself to essential items that should have been in the room. Decor nice, but A/C barely worked.

We were stressed because we couldn't find a single hotel with a room available. Albuquerque Marriott saved us! The room was clean and beautifully remodeled, especially the bathroom. And the beds are heavenly! I wish I could take the bedding with me! lol! The TV has a lot of channels, but you can also watch your own internet accounts, such as Netflix. They log you off all of your accounts when you checkout. And this hotel is surrounded by great places to eat. That's if you choose not to eat downstairs where the food looked and smelled amazing. I would definitely stay here again. :) Excuse our stuff everywhere in the pics. We kinda moved in for the night. I was just attempting to illustrate the beautiful remodel and cozy feeling.

People are very accommodating, however, the hotel is lacking in services and amenities we are used to at Marriotts. Food is very expensive and poorly prepared. Pool is cloudy and no hot tub. No safes or refrigerators in rooms.

We tried to do our own laundry. Machines are $2 in quarters only. Front desk only had $4 in quarters. They wanted us to go out and get our own. How can you be out of quarters for the weekend when you have a hotel full of guests for the event we were attending? We have 3 loads of laundry we can’t get dry because it takes two cycles!

After driving all over New Mexico spent two nights at this Marriott, really glad we did. Great location, walking distance to shopping and restaurants with simple access to get right back on the highway. Though the hotel was very busy, rooms were quiet and comfortable. … Love the fitness center and indoor/outdoor pools. The best part, great staff. Friendly and handled everything we needed. Thanks for the great stay.

On the face of it a nice enough hotel. However a few things don't help. The recent merging of reward schemes caused issues, which the desk was not really that helpfull with. The breakfast buffet is is not available during the week which is not helpful, not as quick and is limiting. The spa pool is odd. It has been filled in apparently as it doesn't have a hoist. So nobody can use it :/ almost a dollar per minute to use a computer to do a simple thing like check into a flight is a bit much (with an 8 dollar minimum). This is not a cheep hotel just let people use a computer quickly! I have stayed before and in all honesty if I had reviewed on another stay the score may have been higher. But this time its not. I will say that the staff are very nice to speak too.

At the Marriott for a convention. The staff was super helpful with all the guests, always happy to be stopped and answer a question. They were very efficient at reconfiguring the rooms for the various events. I did not stay in the hotel but it seems like a nice place to stay.

Rooms are always clean. Location is great. Service is good. Concierge access is an important perk. They don't get 5 stars because there is no mini fridge or microwave.

A fantastic spot to cool off and get some refreshments. No matter what you require… a banquet hall. Or a nice relaxing room for a weekend getaway when I'm there I'm always taken care of. The service and ameneties are always spot on, and I always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Stay here often. Always friendly service and clean rooms. This last time they gave my two small daughters boxes of chocolate at check in. One of the better hotels in the area. Easy access to I-40 and close to the mall and restaurants.

I wanted to like this place so much. It is a very convenient location. Lots of shopping and entertainment. But… It was hard to like this place. The hotel smelt like old smokey rooms. The pool is dirty and old. The staff was nice but didn't get me my requested items until the 3rd time I called. This review makes me feel a little bad. I wanted to like it so much, but we will not be staying there again. The hotel needs a major renovation.

Good location close to food and activities. Rooms were dated but clean and the concierge lounge had a good breakfast and snack selection. I will stay again.

Normally love this hotel when attending work functions. This visit however was the exception. Uncomfortable temperatures in conference room. Mediocre catering and service. Beverages (coffee, tea, etc) removed without warning. Water at table not refilled. Sad experience for a normally great meeting space.

I made a mistake of thinking I was doing a good for myself by selecting to stay at a Marriott during our move. I ASSumed I would be able to put my family in a good hotel close to the hwy, and get up to eat a good complimentary breakfast before we hit the road again. Instead we will go to Denny's rather than pay $25 per kid to eat their buffet. Worse yet, I already reserved another Marriott in Oklahoma City. I'm a fool.

Very convenient freeway access. Easy to find and easy to get back on the road. Everything is clean and very well kept. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This place is no good. We were surprised because the reviews said otherwise. We checked in and it took forever because the hotel was crazy busy. There was no room to park, and we have a son with special needs so we had to park across the parking lot. We confirmed 3 times that our room had a crib and they said yes every time. We walked in, no crib. They also over charged us and you have to pay $15 for Wi-Fi for one night. They advertise free Wi-Fi but in the fine print it says you need to pay. We picked this place because it was nice but we would have gotten better service at a super8. Don’t stay here, save your money!

We had twenty Wildland Firefighters stay here to be prepositioned for potential Wildland Fire outbreaks throughout the Cibola NF. Needless to say we were very dissatisfied with the whole management throughout the Albuquerque Marriott. Not only were we denied coffee in the early hours of our morning before our shift, we were told we had to pay extra for them even after we paid a hospitality fee. As civilians walked out the front door with cups of coffee that were given to then by the kitchen staff even though on the website they list coffee as an amenity, we decided to make it known that we were blatantly disregarded as hard working, paying members of society that miss out on birthdays, holidays and family time throughout the majority of the year. Really hope that Marriott considers this for the future. We will not be coming back and spending thousands of dollars on less than mediocre service at any of these hotel chains. Terrible management service.

Rooms felt a little dated but we're nice and clean. Concierge lounge had a good selection of snacks/appetizers and beverages. Everything had a very laid back feel to it.

The sales and catering managers were great and gave me a wonderful tour. The grand ballroom can seat about 400 people with an additional 300 in the junior ballroom. It's a good size with a great conference area.

Very good hotel. I loved how dark it got so I could get some rest. The room was very clean and tidy everyday. The front seat was attentive and helpful.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient. Free parking in on property lot. Hotel has indoor and outdoor pool. Convention and conference facilities. Three shopping centers are located nearby. Hotel offers shuttle to local shops and restaurants.

I’ve stayed at this Hotel many times in the past and it’s always been a great place to stay. This time the rooms are a little run down and the air conditioning did not work. We had two rooms and it was hot all night in both of them. We let the front desk know and they apologized but did nothing to compensate us. If you are expecting air conditioning in your room, you might want to stay else where until they address the problem.

Where to start. We were here for 20 minutes. Unloaded our car. And he bellhop told me to park along the street if I could, because there was a high amount of break ins in the area. And that they had security but not till 11 PM. OK? Way to make me feel comfortable on the last 2 days of my honeymoon. The rooms are out dated. The wall paper is peeling off the wall. The TV has horrible quality. The bathrooms are so small you can’t be in there with the door open. And the miscellaneous expenses are ridiculous! $21 for a breakfast buffet, each! Not included in the 115 a night. Yeah. It’s a Marriott. But the rooms are not that great for that price. I probably won’t return. The only reason I’m given 2 stars, is because of the friendly staff and the amazing Mountain View.

Customer service was very nice — room didn't have a fridge so they delivered one to us and the front desk even heated up some stuff in the microwave for us. Daughter loved the indoor pool and very convenient having the French bakery next door for me to get breakfast and bring back to the room.

Just an Avaerage hotel. Rooms are a bit small, no refrigerators in rooms unless you ask ahead of time, old mattress and way to soft. I'd sat here again knowing what to expect. Clean and super friendly staff.

Busy hotel. No frig available. It is in fairly good shape but sheets did not correctly fit the king bed and kept coming off. Good enough to go back.

Not a great hotel and not a good value. This hotel has seen better days. Desperately in need of renovation. Broken lamps, clunky AC, slow elevators, misfit bed linens. I could go on, but you probably get the point. The location is good as it is near many restaurants and shops.

The only reason I got a room here was so my daughter could use the pool, I told this to the person who I made the reservation with, it ended up being "closed for cleaning". I ate at the restaurant and later found out that the waiter used my credit card number to pay for multiple meals, in essence if someone paid cash my card number was used to pay the bill and he would pocket the cash. At this posting it's been 3 months since I brought this to the managers attention and I still have not been reimbursed.

We stayed at the hotel on the way back to Phoenix. Originally we booked a king sized bed, but as we were three guys, we realized what a mistake we made. Once we informed the front desk of our issue, they immediately moved us over to a double queen room. The rooms were clean, tidy, and very well updated. Would definitely stay here again.

The Marriott conference room was large and was very accommodating. It is located close to some great restaurants. Very nice place to have large events.

Fabulous room, very comfortable. Amazing service including room service! Great view of the city. Had maintenance in to adjust the air, still couldn't get the room cooled down.

My only issue is the fitness center. It was clean, spacious, and had plenty if equipment. It also had an employee hanging out at 4:45 in the morning, sitting on one if the machines. He stuck around for a little over 30 minutes, then I saw him again as I left. Creepy.

I loved the Marriott! The room was clean and taken care of the whole week we were there. Room service was prompt and they got the orders perfect. My kids loved the pool. Everyone was so kind and caring. Cant wait to stay there again!

Really enjoyed this hotel they had hot chocolate when we arrived and rooms were spacious clean. Breakfast was great and staff was attentive. There was also a lot of shopping and eating areas walking distance and the parking lot was big enough to fit a couple of trucks and long trailers. Overall it was a great experience…

I had a good experience room was clean bed was comfortable. The view was great, the restaurant down stairs was nice too. The staff was friendly. Didn't get a chance to check out the pool or exercise room but could see them from the elevators lobby. The pool attached from indoor to outdoor, cool. If I had to say something negative, the bathroom had no exhaust fan. Hot shower foged up mirror, but that happens at the house with a fan, just not that much.

Hotel is in great location with lots of shopping nearby within walking distance. Room we had was nice and hotel brought up a fridge for us to have in the room at no charge. My kids loved the pool and spent several hours splashing and playing around. The restaurant and bar are well stocked and service was good. Definitely consider coming to this location when you are needing a safe place to sleep when in ABQ.

I attended a charity banquet there. The servers were very quick, so quick you could hardly get their attention. We had to ask for more water, which was brought promptly, but no follow up was ever offered. The chicken was terrible; Rubbery and impossible to cut. The sauce qas delicious, as were the potatoes and the salad. Everyone was very nice, it just seemed like they were too busy.

For a conference the services were nice. Bathrooms were nice, though some of the sinks didn't work. The lunch was much better than other conference lunches I've had.

Attended the New Mexico ITE annual conference here. The location is centrally located in the Uptown area. Plenty to see and do in the area. The conference facilities are nice. The only complaint I had, as did a few others, was the noise caused by the vibrations from the HVAC units and the ballroom chandeliers. A little irritating when you're listening to a speaker. Other than that the hotel staff was friendly and the facilities are well kept.

Drinks were way too expensive. Otherwise bell hop was very nice and accommodating. Beds were comfortable.

Great location for weekend shopping. The pool are can be improved. No bathrooms near pool area, so make sure you are ready to walk across lobby to get to one.

Attended a wedding here and I have to say I WOULD NOT recommend having a wedding ceremony here. The ceremony was conducted outside under their "tent" which I have to say is not really kept up with. As there is dirt everywere. They need to take a hose to it. Inside and out. You could nearly hear the vows because it is very close to the freeway so you hear all the traffic very well AND… their swimming pool is also right next to the tent which they do not close for the ceremony, so you can also hear the guests yelling and screaming at the pool. Now the reception was pretty nice because we were inside. They had servers bring our food and filling our cups and it was a good size hall. Only thing that's a pain is you are responsible to clean up the hall the next day. Personally I'd pick a place that didn't require this. I do have to say that all the staff I met throughout the hotel were great. PROPS to the wonderful staff. Including the door man. I can not rate the rooms because I did not stay in one. My apologies.

My girlfriend and I stayed one night for her birthday. Every employee we interacted with was amazing! Very friendly, always smiling. They knew it was for her birthday so they went above and beyond to take care of us. Best hotel experience we've had in the past 5 vacations. Thank you!

Hotel and staff were very helpful. The ratings and common areas were always very clean even though there was a lot of traffic in them. The laundry room was an excellent amenity due to the length of my stay. Being able to do laundry is a definite plus.

As soon as we walked in the staff greeted us promptly and very courteously and checked us in. The room we reserved wasn't available so they got us a similar room just handicapped accesible no big deal they discounted it as well. When we told her it was our anniversary they comped us a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries that was so nice of them. The room was nice and clean and had a great view thanks.

I always appreciate the kindness and courtesy the staff. The lobby and rooms are always clean and the entire place is very chic. Also a very warm place.

Had a great stay-cation! Bed was very comfortable. It has a indoor outdoor swimming pool that's connected! Nice little c store inside with neat gifts from NM. Food was very good inside… also near some good outside bars and restaurants! Plan to stay again.

Service was excellent, the hotel was full of people at the time of check in, but I didn't have to wait long to be helped. The inside of the hotel is visually appealing. The room was nice and very clean. We had a room with a large window that gave us really neat views of the city.

Have to pay for everything but the air you breathe, no free Wi-Fi. Really nice ballroom.

The hotel was very clean and professional. The building was extrememely cold however. I had two shirts on, jeans, and I was still freezing.

Shauna Akin was amazing and treated us with nothing but respect! She over exceeded any expectations we had and I am so happy to have worked with her. She treated every step with extreme professionalism and kindness. I would absolutely refer her to anyone I know that is getting married.

Haven't completed my full stay just yet but everything has been great. The bellman open the doors and greet you. The bartenders are nice and friendly. Check in was easy. Rooms are quite comfortable and clean. Feels fresh and well kept.

Mixed review. Stayed here for two days. Day one, no room a/c and was offered a box fan. Said sold out and couldn't be moved. Day 2, incredible rude breakfast staff. Finally got moved to a room with working a/c!

Hey anyone who reads this, I worked at this hotel for two months and immediately quit asap… let me give you some heads ups… # one the staff don't wash there hands… im talking the COOKS people! Dont eat food? Well thats fine cuz the beds you guys sleep in, they DO NOT wash the sheets when housekeeping is in a hurry… gross right? Not as bad as the basement is full of COCKROACHES … : (IDK… like I said these are things I noticed as an employee… I have NOTHING against the staff or getting hours problems … I just found it disgusting to work there… one last thing theres no CAMERAS anywhere so u dont believe me walk in the basement or back and see for urself just say ur an. New employee training youll see:) everyone have a good day;)

The Marriott on Louiana Blvd. In Alburquerque is the only place to consider when staying in ABQ. It is one of the very few high end 5 Star hotel accommodations in all of New Mexico. It is within walking distance of 3 upscale shopping malls, a Target, 2 multi-plex modern movie theaters and countless restaurant and bar choices from high end to fast food including Dave and Busters, The Macaroni Grill, Bravo's, Pei Wei, Ghenis Grill and many, many more but best of all it has a very fine restaurant of its own and it is one of only places in ABQ that offers room service. It is centeraly located, which makes getting anywhere you need to be in ABQ accessible within minutes, including the airport, concerts, casinos and sporting events. The Marriott on Louisana and staff, lead by The General Manager, Mr. Alwine, consistently goes way above and beyond that elusive extra mile, providing it's guest with the kind of service and hospitality that just no longer exists in this day and age. My teenage daughter has been diagnosed with a rare brain disease and we have to travel over 150 miles from home to the only hospital in the state capable of treating her illness. Somehow Mr. Alwine got word of my family's situation and although our stays had already been 5 star there for many years, the staff has since created these amazing miracles for our entire family during this very difficult time. We often have to be at the UNM Hospital for daily treatments at not so opportune times. Mr.

I was booked here for a work conference and was never told I would be staying with a room mate, which happened to be someone I hardly knew at all. When I was given this information upon arriving, I asked if I could be upgraded to my own room at my OWN COST. The guys behind the counter would not let me and cited the wishes of some man (probably the hotel manager) and said I'd have to pay the entire stay myself if that were the case, not just the difference in price. Call me crazy, but sleeping next to a random person I barely know is not on my list of things to do in Albuquerque. It amazes me that they'd put company "policy" (is it even?, I've seen people upgrade rooms before, doesn't sound impossible) before the comfort of a guest. I ended up staying somewhere else and just driving to my conference daily, to have privacy. Aside from this experience, the hotel was average. The area we were joining in was not kept up to shape throughout the day and they did not provide as many amenities, snacks or good meals as events I've previously attended in other hotels. The toilet paper in the restrooms often went unfilled for long periods of time. I'm probably just being a diva about it, but I was unhappy with the experience there.

I'm really not sure what all the negative reviews are about. The staff was responsive, the room and clean and well updated, the bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, the housekeeping was great. I would stay here again.

No one answered the phone for 30 minutes when internet for hotel stopped working. No managers on duty. I had to call another Marriott to find out what was happening. I wanted to complain to corporate about the problems. She gave me the wrong number for corporate headquarters and I called some random company. The service here is poor. I will never stay here again. I recommend that you stay with another chain that can take care of you better. The prices are very high and service is worse than Motel 6. They make you pay for internet, then it is off at random times, then they don't fix it. Awful customer service.

Definitely not worth the $. When checking in, was greeted by front desk agent with mumbling and a look that was akin to get the "F" out of my face. Had to search and search for another hotel agent, just to check in. I have never been treated so poorly at any hotel — — ever. Also, no hot water in the bathroom sink, and they don't care. If you have any doubts regarding this location, trust your doubts — — don't stay here.

I love staying here! check in was fast and the supervisor on duty was welcoming. Great view and my room didn't have any problems.

This was one of the worst Marriott experiences we have ever had. The carpets were dirty and buckled and the one in our room was wet. The hall carpets had not been vacumed and dirty dishes were left there all day. The management was lax in correcting or addressing the complaint. The front desk staff appeared either overworked or disinterested. The rooms are small and poorly arranged. If someone is working at the desk, there isn't room to walk past into the sitting area by the window. It was a very unsatisfactory stay.

Hotel is poorly maintained. Pool area is dirty and smells musty. Elevators were dicey; sometimes worked, sometimes didn't. Small things that add up to give the impression of a very poorly managed hotel. Ice machine on our floor never worked, despite reporting it. Discarded tub of popcorn left by the garbage can was not picked up during our 3 day stay. Breakfast was served in segments over the course of 15-20 minutes, with numerous mistakes made on the order. Air conditioning in the room didn't work well. Ordered a mineral water at the bar that never came because "the door to that office is locked. " On the plus side, the staff was pleasant and friendly. But they don't seem to know how to do their jobs very well.

Well The First Few Nights Were Good, The Staff We're Nice And Inviting. But I LITERALLY Got Stuck In One Of Their Elevators.! It Was The Worst Experience EVER.! They Said They Would Shut Down That Elevator, But Later That Day It Was On Again And A Totally Diffrent Elevator Was Shut Off. I Had A Really Bad Panic Attack, And It Took Them Some Time To Get Us Out. The Room Service Was Amazing Though. The Desk Staff Was Being Really Rude To My Mom When We Wanted To Extend Our Stay 1 More Night. They Didn't Even Apologize For Their Crappy Elevators. I Took The Stairs From Then On.
