Nice and quiet close tothe 40 and Cheap $$$$

Clean room quite, easy off highway, nice staff, cheap price.

The staff is great good prices awesome breakfast clean comfy rooms couldn't ask for more I refuse to stay anywhere else in that area.

This was an amazing surprise. Hardwood floors, large King beds, connecting rooms, table and chairs in room, upgraded amenimies, granite top around sink, real coffee and creamer. A wonderful place to spend a night on a long trip.

This is a clean, no frills motel. No microwave, barely cool fridge. Nice bed, well remodeled. Polite reception. Too bad it's next to a Motel 6 where 5 police cars spent nearly 3 hours dealing with an issue there. Sirens and bull horn most the time. Not a peaceful place. If u want wuiet, move on.

Excellent cheap motel, clean, convenient and accommodating. For the money it is 5 Star. The sheets were good and as I left I saw that they strip sheets when cleaning, Lisa’s biggest worry about inexpensive rooms. Breakfast could have been better, at least there was one. Coffee was quite good.

Wonderful place to stay in the area. Loved their hospitality with caring staff. Comfortable bed with clean room. Good breakfast and easy access to freeway.

Pros: the air conditioner was great. Cons: pillows felt like they were put through the washer and dryer (very lumpy, I had to use all three to sleep), cockroach in the sink and shower. Manager asks for a 100 deposit fee, the area where this is located NO ONE requires a deposit. As a choice hotel point member, a water bottle nor points are given ar check in, in fact, hotel charges one dollar for water. The most poorly run Choice Hotel. Booked at Old Town Econo Lodge for tonight, cancelled my reservation my second stay at this location. Old Town Econo is a world of difference, beautiful rooms, friendly staff and if a choice member, you receive a chocolate bar. I am surprised the eastside location has not been reported.

Room was very clean and nice, free breakfast and coffee til 9. Waffle house in the same parking lot and McDonald's right next door. Easy on and off highway. Neighborhood not the best but still great price.

Rooms were very clean and it was affordable. Office staff were helpful and there is a Waffle House on the doorstep.

Not a bad place to stop in for the night, especially after a 12 hour drive. The non-smoking room did smell like smoke, but we were offered to move rooms. We decided to just go with air freshener and the front desk had some. Bathroom is a bit cramped and the bed could be a bit more comfortable but overall the room is a good stay for the price. It had both a mini fridge and a microwave, with a small 2 person sitting area for dinner. There is a waffle house next door which was amazing. Good rate, friendly staff. If we had to stay again here we defiantly would.

The room was nice, the staff were very nice and friendly. Good selection for breakfast, If you want more for breakfast there is a waffle house on site. All and all I had a good experience I will definitely go back.

It was good. Nice clean room. Not super big, but great for one or two people.

This place was nice and clean, the person very professional and always ready to help. I stayed here with my family already two times. Have many restaurant gas station and highways. The parking is also free.

Good facilities for what it costs, good location to go to the attractions of the area.

This room was about what I expect from a 2 star hotel. My only issue was the exterior door handle only worked by pulling up on it. After the I got in everything seemed ok. The water pressure was great and it had been recent remodeled.

An alright hotel, about what you’d expect for the price range. Our room was clean and comfortable enough. The bathroom was quite small and the sink a little cracked, but both worked. Wi-Fi was pretty slow. The breakfast was good, although the orange juice tasted a bit odd. The handle into our room seemed like it was broken; it only opened if you pulled it up. Overall it seemed like a decent place to stay if you just want a cheap room, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it.

Very nice and clean room. Comfortable bed and lots of options for TV channels. Place had extra cabinets for storage space and a closet (not sure why, but if that helps anyone). Don't what it is, but I feel like econo lodge is better than most hotels in a similar price range. For breakfast they have waffles, bread, cereal, a small fruit selection, yogurt, options for juice (orange/apple) and coffee from what I remember. I would highly recommend this hotel for it's location and comfort. There was a strange unpleasant smell in the room, but overall nice hotel with friendly staff.

Nice clean remodeled great bathtub deep enough to soak in and get your shoulders in love the fact it had vinyl hardwood flooring in the room so clean when traveling with pets, carpets carry a lot of germs from prior pets vinyl flooring makes it very clean for all traveling pets. Great front desk staff felt safe and secure will stay there on my return trip very quiet got a good night's rest. Recommend you choose them 1 tip turn in the driveway to Waffle House Waffle House it sits behind it.

The rooms were very clean and well stocked. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great price and location was close to stores and restaurants. Will definitely stay there next time!

We stopped here last weekend exhausted and looking for a cheap place to crash. Long story short, upon inspecting the bed, I found a freaking hair. Not clean sheets. Front desk puts us in another room, where, surprise, I found what appeared to be an eyelash. Fking gross. Lazy, nasty dump. It's NOT clean, so don't buy any of these other bs reviews. We left within 20 minutes and were not charged. If you demand clean sheets, just don't even bother.

Nice place to sleep, food and coffee in the morning, Rooms are really nice. Right off the freeway, easy to find. Close to places to eat.

Older motel but nice and clean. No coffee in room. Breakfast is waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereal. There is a Waffle House right door if you want a full breakfast.

Clean place with very nice and easy to work with staff. They helped me out multiple times and have good recommendations for anything you're looking for. Comfy stay for one night or for a vacation.

We were told it was 49.00 for 1 night they charged us 69.00. Manager was nice and only charged us what we were told. Sent a nice email. We appreciate that very much especially because we are traveling. Only complaint is the beds are hard.

For the money this is not a bad motel. It is conveniently located for driving around the nicer parts of Albuquerque (East, Northeast) and walking to grocery stores, restaurants, and even a movie theater!

This is the place we always stay in Abq. Great value. The staff service is excellent. It is a very safe area, and near stores is you want to shop. Try it. It could be your number one stop in Abq.

It's clean & comfortable. Great breakfast. The cleaning lady from Mexico only speaks Spanish & begs for money. I spoke to the hotel owner. She told him that I mis understand her because I didn't speak Spanish. I surprised them both by speaking fluent Spanish & told him that I knew what she said. She didn't say anything after that. Overall it's a nice place just slightly over priced.

Great experience; just off I-40 and Tramway, makes the drive simple and easy. Jay and Marlene and the staff are superb! Rooms are clean and spacious. Numerous restaurants and movie theater within walking distant! Our family makes a point to stay at the ECONO LODGE EAST each and every time we visit the Albuquerque area; usually two or three times a year! Excellent job to all at the ECONO LODGE EAST!

The clientele here made me paranoid. Lock didn't seem screwed in all the way either. Not the cleanest and not the most spacious, but good in a bind… I guess!

It was a nice place to stop for the night. The people who worked there we're very kind.

One of the worst places I've stayed in. Stayed on the second floor and could feel and see the floor was not level. One spot by the bathroom was lower than every other point in the room. Spent the whole time wondering if we were going to fall through the floor.

It was sufficient but the bathroom is very small. I couldn't exit the shower without hitting the toilet.

This is a great hotel right by the piers and aquatic park. Super convenient to all kinds of attractions. Plus, they have great spa water in the lobby ;) I was super impressed with the staff. Especially Ben and Federico at the front desk. They were very helpful, even early in the morning.

This is my second time staying at this Hotel and Mike the front desk man was Kind and polite good customer service. The blankets had dark spots, need to pay attention to the maintenance of the rooms.

My brother and I stayed here on a cross-country road trip. It was great! It's simple and basic, yet clean, comfortable, and safe. The staff was friendly and accommodating. And it's a great location, too… Waffle House right in front of it, McDonald's next to it, movie theater across the street. We would definitely come back here. :) Good job, Econo Lodge East!

This hotel was our sanctuary in the winter 2015 blizzard. We got a clean, waem room here when all other hotels were booked. The young man who helped us at 2 am was extremely nice and we are so thankful.

This motel has become a home away from home for me when I visit my mother who lives in the NE Heights. It is right off I-40 and Tramway. The management and staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms have TV, fridge & Wifi, and also had recent renovations. There is a decent continental breakfast (toast, yogurt, boiled egg, waffles, cereal, fruit, etc) ; also a computer, ice, & microwave available in the office area. And there is a Waffle House next door, an Einsteins bakery and a Sprouts market across the street. Even though some of this Central St. Area is a bit run down, I always feel safe when I stay here. What more could you want? For these room rates, it is "A OK".

This place is disgusting. Positive posts are probably from employees or owners and friends. Did not walk barefoot. If you like hair and cigarette burn on your bed this is the place for you.

Neighborhood looked iffy but the rooms were very nice: clean, pretty new furnishings, quiet inside. I'd stay here again.

Not the brightest part of town but it wasn't bad. Beds were a bit firm but it was clean and I found nothing to talk bad about. A Wafflehouse is right next door so it was very convenient.

The staff was friendly and very helpful making my stay productive and enjoyable. I was able to have some documents copied at the front desk and the maid checked on my pet while I was away from the room for a few hours. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a hotel convenient to east Abq (I-40, tramway & central) restaurants, services, and entertainment.

AWFUL! We came as a group to stay for the night, we got two rooms. Both of the rooms they put us in on the 2nd floor were infested with little beetle like bugs. We complained and changed rooms to the third floor. The one room still has little bugs in it, and in the other one the air conditioner is broke and the toilet won't flush. They said they cannot give us our money back (so we can go stay at a cleaner hotel) until maybe tomorrow afternoon when the manager comes in. Its gross, the beds are hard and small, and its very rundown. I don't care how "cheap" it is. I would rather spend the extra $15 to stay somewhere else. I wouldn't even give it one star if I didn't have to.

These people will steel from you. If you start up with a weekly rate and have to cancel and have to move out in one or two days they still charge for the entire week. if you are smart you will avoid this place completely.

I have stayed here many times. I like this hotel for good service and reasonable price. The manager and hotel staffs are friendly. They always take good care of me. Waffle, hard boiled eggs, fruits, juices and coffee are my favorite breakfast items. Nice clean rooms, cable tv, Wi-Fi and good breakfast, what more to expect! Location is great, just right on I-40. The hotel is perfectly located to make it easy for business and pleasure. The room was clean and put together. The rooms are also setup to handle your business needs. I have never had a bad experience at this hotel. They recently added a breakfast room and helps start the day. This is Albuquerque and my safety is also important. The location is also important to me. It is easy to access all of the city as well as the airport. The value to me as a business traveler is worth more to me than pools and gyms. I would stay there again.
