Who puts a handicapped room the furthest from the elevator? Holiday Inn Express, that's who. We stay here every other month. I would think we would be treated better. The last 2 stays have been questionable. Last stay they changed my reservation then tried to deny it until I showed them in black and white that it was changed. Maybe this room location is payback? Perhaps it's time to find somewhere else to stay when we come to town 6 times a year.

The staff here are out going and friendly. Rooms are nice and clean. Family and business travrl oriented.

I would never stay at this location ever again. The room is a shoe box. A double occupancy means one of the 2 people have to sleep on a hide away. No bath products in bathroom. No linens for hide away. Pillows are paper thin. Rooms have a musty smell. Walls are paper thin. It was like staying in a shoe box. Front desk staff, specifically Brian, were rude and lied about all rooms being the same size and bed make up. Housekeeping is extra cost. Free breakfast is a granola bar and a cup of coffee to go, but they have vending machines for you. : — (Worst experience ever. Less than basic cable and no movie options.

The fact that the sleeping area and dining area are kind divided in the rooms makes it a very unique and appealing hotel to stay in.

J I personally only ever interact with the third shift staff. She's a lovely young lady that always gets me checked in without any problems. She always takes the time to make sure that I have everything that I need and that I am well aware of everything that I need to know.

If I could give this place no stars at all I would! First it is not clean nor is it updated, everything except maybe the TV is upgraded. The room smelt like outhouse and when I asked the front desk, all they did was come and spray Frebreeze! I called and complained to Priceline who contacted them however the manager lied and stated that they offered me another room. NO ONE came to address me and my concerns. I could not change hotels and basically was stranded there. They have no shuttle to airport or at least I was told it does not run on weekends. There was other people's hair on the wash clothes and old food and crumbs on the floor and chairs. Again I contacted Priceline who states it's up to the hotel to give me refund. Really! The manager Robin outright lied and stated they offered me something else and did not want to give a refund because I stayed in the room… Hello liar I had no choice! Don't wait your time going to this dirty, nasty unprofessional place.

Clean but my room 100 smelled like straight grease everytime I walked in the door it slaps you in the face other than that wasnt really there working 12hr nights.

BEWARE Bedbugs. My husband booked a stay at a local hotel but they gave away his room so he had to stay at the Extended Stay. The hotel has bedbugs! They were confirmed by a doctor. This place is literally the most disgusting hole you could stay in. We called the front desk to alert them to their bed bug infestation and they hung up on us. Our next call is to the health department!

Room was a bit dated, but otherwise clean. The bed wasn't as comfy as I have hoped for and the pillows were a bit flat. The shower was hot and strong.

Everyone that works there is very nice, with the exception of Brian. He is very rude and doesn't interact well with guest. We had to ask for dishes ect. I feel knowing we were staying for a week the room should have been set up with accommodations before we got there or when we arrived.

Never been to a pet friendly hotel that charges for pets night by night. We Were Not told that until we were here for 2 days. The day we checked in the employess seen our dog and then 2 days later we were told we are about to be charged a 250 dollar fee for not telling them. The older lady that works in the front desk is very rude and unprofessional. And Their "Breakfast" is just a granola bar and a cheap muffin. Me and my family will not be coming to stay in this hotel again.

Loved it! Place was clean. Staff was great. Its a non smoking hotel but the windows open real wide so you can simply blow the smoke out the window. I personally dont smoke but my co workers do. Anyway, really nice place. Ive been there 2 weeks now and was very satisfied. Michael p.

I stayed here for about 3 months. I only stayed here because it was the cheapest short-term housing I could find during the time of year I was in the area as prices are very high during the summer tourism months in RI. I had trouble every single week with housekeeping either not showing up or not doing a decent job of actually cleaning. Multiple times they put the dirty sheets back on the bed and never cleaned the shower. I had to have them come back several times to bring new linens and to clean the toilet, which they always seemed to forget. Parking is ok except for weekends. Many times guests driving large delivery trucks would take up several spaces to park their trucks sideways in the parking lot. A couple times I took my trash out to the dumpser myself, and each time I found rats crawling around. My room keys were renewed frequently, yet it was not uncommon to come back and find they didn't work. The night shift staff was always nice and helpful when I needed anything, but during the day time the staff was definitely subpar. They were typically rude and unhelpful. The whole place is non-smoking, but it was very common to smell both cigarette and marijuana smoke in the hallways and elevator. Unfortunately the smoke fumes often go through the vents so you will smell it in your own room inevitably. The hotel allows pets, which is fine with me. However, on multiple occasions I found dog poop in the hallways and stairwells often not cleaned up for quite a while.

Good place pet friendly, laundry room, kitchen, good low price.

The room was very nice and the staff was delightful but the Continental breakfast pretty bad to be honest.

Never went inside… just picked someone up. That person has been very happy with their stay.

It was OK. The room was smaller than expected but efficient. The room was cleaner than some I saw online. The staff was friendly but we had to call a couple times in order to get extra towels, pillows, sheets, and a pot to boil water. The breakfast could be a little better. There was only coffee, hot chocolate, tiny muffins, and oatmeal. Some milk, cereal, and juice would have been preferable.

Not as nice as Priceline made it out to be, but maybe they just put me in one of the more overused rooms. If you need a placed to stay that ous cheap in the area as you aren't to picky is fine.

Employees were really nice. But the a. C. Wasn't on when we got to room and was over 85 degrees took a couple hours to cool down, soda machine was out of most options. Hallway smelled like curry and our room smelled like it had been smoked in.

It was fine — the room itself has a little kitchen. If you want any supplies (pans, hairdryer) they have them you just need to request them. Bed was comfortable — room was clean. The breakfast area should just be called "Coffee Bar" and nothing more, there is nothing else available. It's a good place for an overnight on your way to somewhere else.

It was ok. I opened a drawer in the kitchen to find a generous allotment of cockroach feces, but then I stopped opening drawers: Problem solved. Other than that it was pretty swell. Only stayed one night… Well, not even. I got in late from out of town @ about 4:30am and left at noon. Your mileage may vary.

Really nice stay. We were there for 4 nights and having diatery restrictions and on a budget it was the perfect fit. Studio type I bed w sofa, kitchenette w island and cooking appliance option. Enough closet space. Breakfast included but I wouldn't call it breakfast. It's meager so bring things you love, you can always suplement w fruits available, milk if you're ok w dairy. Staff very friendly and helpful. It self sufficient and nice clean modem enough rooms. Access to airport near by and 15mn to Providence center give and take time of day. Rush hr feels like ny week end! ;) Bed ok for short stay. No pool but we weren't looking for that although my son would have loved it. We were their for at an education center so left in morning and back in mid afternoon so not worry about not having much around. Although trader joe's, rei and many other major shopping is 5mn & 10mn away depending your choices. Highly recommend when on budget but with comfort and clean design appeal.

I stayed for two nights at the hotel. In general there were no major issues. The kitchens are not stocked by default. There was only one single use plastic cup in the room. It would be nice to have at least a couple of glasses in the room, so we would not have to ask for them immediately.

Got a good deal online and it wasn't far from the Rhode Island College. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd choose here again.

It's relatively cheap but you get what you pay for. The rooms smell, the furniture is dingy, and there are burn holes in the couch.

Huge room, odd location for a hotel billed as "Providence"… It's on the outskirts near the airport. Overall good stay.

Booked a non-smoking room but since they were sold out they put us in a smoking room. The room reeked of cigarettes and we had no choice but to just deal with it. Did appreciate house keeping coming in & spraying down the room with air-freshners, but def did not appreciate being a in room that smelled terrible all weekend.

For the price I paid for, I could have got a better place for an extra $20/night which was where my brother and his family stayed at (holiday inn) 5min away from extended stay. Since I did not stay 7 nights, there were no house keeping. We had a suite with kitchen but was only give 2 large towels with some hand/face towels. The bathroom reeks of urine. The pillows are so cheap. One of them smells of body odor. Horrible grab and go breakfast. Wifi — I used my own data. Overall, I wished I would have had a better stay for what I paid for. Next time around I know not to stay here. The only thing I do like was the front desk staff that helped me. I do not usually take my time to write reviews but I do because I myself would like to know of others experience whether it's good or bad. I did read the reviews initially but thought that I would try it myself to find out. Hopefully extended stay will make some changes in the future for their business sake.

Decent hotel but if you are here to work and need the Internet for work go somewhere else. 75 mbps Internet speed which is worse than dial up. If you pay $3.99 per night you can get a whole 2 mbps Internet speed.

Our flight was delayed until the next day, and we found this hotel. The staff, especially Paula who answered our call was very sweet, polite, and extremely helpful and kind. When we arrived, the room was very clean, and we have a kitchen and lots of space. I HIGHLY recommend!

If I could rate it zero I would. Over the past two year s this hotel has gone down the drain. It was never maintained but atleast the friendly staff behavior compensated alot. The new staff is extremely rude. Robin creates an atmosphere of a boarding school. No customer service at all. And if you ask her for anything, she will actually tell you "why dont you go down to stop n shop and buy it". I did not ask her for her opinion but since she feel s she has to well. The company has a new rule where every guest is rudely thrown out of their room, if you ask if there is an alternative the house keeping esp HEATHER will bang the door in your face and leave. Even if you were politely trying to call front desk. But no, since heather s having a bad day. Lets treat the customer s this way. I have been a long term guest and never in the past two years have I ever been treated or talked to this way. The old staff is incredible. And the reason why I do not feel comfortable leaving my room is that I have had things missing. So if that is what you are looking for. Then this is the place to stay. Please be careful when you walk in the corridor because dogs piss on it and no one wants to clean. The carpet is ancient. The sofa is disgusting. And lets not go to the bathroom. Theres no vent and according to the management there s a passive vent. Ok. N the bathroom is right in front of the kitchen.
