Amazing and modern, the room itself has it's basic amenities but with a modern twist. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and nice; I have never had such a welcoming experience at a hotel even 4 and 5 star hotels. The service was so perfect it felt like it was straight out of a movie. The deck is absolutely amazing and no pictures truly give you a good idea of how gorgeous it is. The location of the hotel is awesome as well, it's right in the middle of everything, downtown is 15 minutes away and the beach is 20 minutes away; On top of that there's a mall that is essentially across the street.

Conveniently located. Soft bed. Found the full-length mirror by accident. I 'discovered' it while in my sister's room as she closed the door to use the bathroom. I noticed a sticker in my nephew's room, but not all of the rooms have a sticker indicating the mirror is behind the bathroom door. My three sisters and I are all five feet tall. The clothing rod was a struggle to reach and a dresser would have been convenient. Liked the exposed brick and concrete. Enjoyed the bar. Friendly service. Loved the deck: seating, view, and lighting. Very picturesque. I was at the hotel for a wedding and enjoyed my experience. Loved the fact that the ceremony, reception, and my room were all in the same location.

Bed and pillows were very comfy. There was a restaurant and early bird breakfast cafe, which was nice. The deck seating at the restaurant on the water is great! Enjoyed the experience overall. They offer a shuttle to/from the airport & free bottled water. Keurig & k-cups in the room too! Would give 5 stars, if it had a fridge & microwave; also I was served cold bread and tea that tasted very off at the restaurant. Would definitely visit again though. Very friendly staff!

I really can't think of anything bad to say. Our room was nice and clean. The staff were very polite, right from the front desk all the way down to the wonderful people who clean the rooms. Our breakfast on Sunday morning June 3rd. Was really delicious and I especially loved my cup of tea. Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat. Thank you all for making our weekend stay a memorable one.

Arrived late at night after a bit of a longer drive — and was greeted and helped by the lovely front desk team. Was check in and settled in my suite in no time. Had my dog traveling with me — and the hotel staff treated her as a guest — gave her belly rubs and treats. The location of the hotel was quiet and picturesque — a great place to mediate; but also a short drive/walk from other restaurants and shopping. Staff didn't hover or bother you — but was easy to get a hold of if you needed anything. I will definitely be returning — thank you Nylo Hotels!

Overall, the stay was great. All the staff at the front desk were fantastic. The only complaint I have is the server at breakfast. She seemed like she had never been a server before or just blatantly didn't care. The hostess ended up helping us more than our server. Don't know her name, but it was Sunday about 11:00. I am sure this will be a onetime situation as the hostess seemed to be aware too.

We stayed at the NYLO one night during a long layover. It's a gorgeous hotel. The room was super clean, large, and had great style. The bed is DIVINE. I want one for my own home. The staff is incredible. The food at the hotel restaurant is very tasty. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying there again for longer next time.

The bed was very comfortable and got up only once — not due to the bed! Bathroom was spacious. However, the faucet was not designed right — not hotel's fault. It was too close to the bathroom sink for my liking — sprayed with washing hands or rinsing toothbrush as I tried to avoid touching the sink. Definitely would stay here again!

If your looking for a moderately priced hotel centrally located in Rhode Island close to Providence then this is your hotel! An old factory reno with a European flair, the most positive and kind staff equal to the service you receive at a Ritz Carlton. Ask for anything, even in the restaurant, and they will do their absolute best to accommodate you. My only less than glowing comment is that the older cement walls and ceiling are slightly daunting when drifting off to sleep. I was a tad nervous that cement might chip onto me but of course that didn't happen. The room was meticulous and incredibly comfortable and functional! I could live there if they converted into condos! The food was fabulous and the view beautiful. Set so close to a main road and a mail yet not a car could be heard. Only the sounds of rushing water from behind that hotel which truly evoked the feeling of what it may have been like for those who once worked at the mill.

My first stay at NYLO was an acceptable one. The general look and feel of the hotel is much more relaxing the stuffiness you experience at your everyday hotel. Generally, the staff are courteous and helpful (some have a bit of an attitude). The rooms do get a little warm and humid and the air conditioner in our room didn't do much to fix that. In general, I'd say this was a decent hotel and I'd go back again if it were convenient.

I stayed at NYLO for just one night but it was definitely one of my top 2 hotel experiences and I've had my fair share! The hotel was really nicely decorated and was well within their NY style loft design. From the lobby to the restaurant to the patio, such a warm and modern vibe. However, the room (king, river side view) that I stayed in was actually pretty small compared to most hotels. The decor and amenities made up in some part, but not completely. I loved the rain shower head and the lighting, but again, the room itself was not very spacious. However, it was very clean and comfortable. I do wish that they offered complimentary breakfast, considering the cost of the room. But I wasn't completely upset about it only because there are plenty of food and shopping locations nearby as it is literally across the street from the Warwick Mall. Aside from the abandoned factory building next door, this is in a great location.

The bed at NYLO is like a cloud hugging you. Rainshowers in rooms is an incredible treat. The fitness center was a wonderful delight — though the sauna (a huge bonus) was not working properly. Excellent customer service with personable staff and natural conversation. Close, free parking was well-appreciated. Slippers for a cold concrete floor would have made it 5 stars! Highly recommended if staying in the area.

I booked 1 night at Nylo for a weekend getaway for myself and my girlfriend. We picked a room that had a view of the river. The view was absolutely amazing. When we first got into the room we were just taking pictures of everything. Whenever we interacted with the front desk they were extremely polite and friendly. We found that the amenities in the room were pretty good overall. The shower was decent (pretty large) and the mattress was extremely comfortable. In the morning, we got breakfast in the hotel restaurant (with vouchers that came with our room package). The food was amazing and it was convenient to have it right in the hotel.

Hotel is unique, set in an old factory with modern furnishings. Bed was very comfortable and temp of room was easy to control. Downside was no refrigerator or microwave in room. The shower is pretty see through, and the bathroom is open to room above shower. This would not have been an issue for a couples get away, but we booked a double twin bed room for my teenage daughter and I. So I had to leave the room while she showered so she'd be comfortable. Hotel didn't have much to do, may be better during warmer weather. I wouldn't bother spending extra for the river view, as it's just a small river, more comparable to a creek.

Trendy looking and clean. The bar prices were a little high. The accommodations were decent bed was really soft though and the pillows were really hard. The air conditioner kept coming on in the middle of the night about every half hour making a really loud clunking noise and waking me up. Had to turn the air conditioner off to sleep. Overall a unique place to stay but I might choose a place that is more comfortable and quiet next time.

This place is awesome! It's in a reclaimed industrial area and I love the loft look. The style works very well and the designers did a great job providing a lot of lighting level control in the room with just a few simple lamps. The mattress was super comfy and had 4 pillows that all felt like varying firmness. Haven't gotten such a good sleep in a hotel for a while. Haven't tried the hotel restaurant yet but I'm eager to do it even with all the interesting options in the area. I messed up my reservation but Kaylee the night clerk was super kind and fixed it over the phone for me at 1:30am. She also helped guide me down the interstate to Warwick from Logan since I've never been in the area before and felt kinda lost. Will definitely come back every time I'm here.

The room was nicely decorated. Love the loft feel. Most importantly love the comfortable bed. Hard to find in hotels. Breakfast sandwich was really good and the waiter was cheerful and attentive, also hard to find these days! Thanks for a pleasant experience.

This hotel was amazing! I promised the manager I would write a review and I am because I hope other people will go here. The rooms are fantastic. Very cozy, very modern, and most of all so very clean. I walked barefoot on the cement floor and not a speck of dirt on my feet! The sheets smelled wonderful. The amenities included in the room were great. The staff was absolutely great from the moment I checked in (I asked to check in a little early and there was no problem) to the minute I left. Fast, super courteous, friendly, and actually cared if you0 like the hotel and if your stay was what you expected. I cannot say enough about this hotel. If you don't go you will be missing out!

My husband and I went there for his birthday. It was an amazing stay. The grounds are beautiful and romantic. Our only issue was that the bathroom toilet, still had feces in it when we arrived. However, we called the staff and they acted on it immediately and to our satisfaction. We would recommend this to other couples!

We stay at NYLO every chance we get. Usually it is for an overnight, this time we were lucky enough to have two nights at NYLO. The staff is AMAZING. Aaron is super accommodating, always has a smile and a friendly attitude. NYLO is lucky to have him represent their hotel. The food is always on point, delicious and served with a side of friendly conversation. We are looking forward to our next vacation!

The staff here is wonderful. Aaron at the desk is very nice and very. Helpful. The room is on the small side but was nice. Just know the bathroom wall doesn’t go all the way to the ceiling so make sure you if you are with your partner you don’t mind hearing what is going on when they are in there. We also lost power the Sunday we were there so we left very early because of it. We also had an extra charge on our credit card that we are trying to figure out. The bed is super soft which is good for me but my husbands bad back didn’t fair so well. Overall it’s a very cozy hotel but there are some negatives.

Hotel is in an old mill and very industrial looking, down to bare concrete walls in rooms. Somehow this was one of the most beautiful rooms we've stayed in. They really pulled off this look. The bed had to be one of the most comfortable we've ever slept on. The bathroom was gorgeous. This was all in a standard king size room. The only complaints I have is the room never seemed to really warm up and the parking is across the street although it was free so that's a very small complaint.

The hotel is very trendy, I love the concrete floors, however, the walls and roof are concrete too. The decor is very nice, and the view of the river is beautiful as well. All of the staff has been very pleasant to me. The parking situation across the street is a result of them not having any open lots on the same side of the road as the hotel, which is fine, I applaud their restoration of such a historic site. The hotel used to be a textile a factory of civil war clothing, which is very intriguing because as you can see in my pictures the neighboring building is still in its original form but looks to be in the process of renovation as well. The restaurant and outside space is beautiful. At night it gets a bit unnerving because you think about the origins of the building, a little spooky, especially when alone. There are no microwaves or refrigerators in the room, which was highly disappointing as I try to save when I travel for business. All in all, it was an interesting and pleasant 2 day stay. The room was pretty quiet as well.

I visited NYLO located in RI in October for my nieces wedding and was very satisfied with my stay there. The room was totally unique and very clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was excellent and the service was great… full bar too. If you know Rhode Island it is close to everything; beaches, shopping, (literally across the street), but it is right on the Pawtuxet River so it’s very quite as well. As a native Rhode Islander I truly couldn’t think of a better place to stay if visiting. Well done NYLO!

Such a cool and unique hotel, inspired by New York lofts. The room featured 15+ foot ceilings with exposed concrete and yet the room felt cozy and inviting with the floor to ceiling curtains that enclosed the bed area. It definitely had one of the most luxurious hotel beds I've slept on. The large flat screen television is mounted on a cantilever arm, which allowed me to pull it out so that it was suspended right over the foot of the bed. The bathroom also had luxurious elements like the peekaboo shower (seen from the bed area) that had a dual rain-shower head and hand shower, with plenty of water pressure to feel the full rain shower experience. I am looking forward to my next stay here and eating at their Logo restaurant.

The design is unique, I enjoy this place. Such a unique experience. The restaurant is expensive and very limited menu also they ADD the tip to your bill. You don't get to decide on the tip. Not very flexible on altering the side options. But of course it's easy with an additional charge. There are great food options right across the street.

I might give NYLO another change. However, there are multiple little improvements that could be made. First, there were numerous and obvious stains on the linens. Had anyone took the time to look over the room, they would have noticed the stains. Second, there were also stains on the curtains above the windows. Not sure how they got there, don't want to know, but it was not pleasant to look at. Third, The Loft. Food was fine but our table was still covered in crumbs from the last party and our glassware and silverware again, had OBVIOUS spots all over. My biggest concern is that staff is overlooking very small, but obvious details. Not sure whether they just don't care or are too understaffed to take care of them. Definitely needs improvement and I was slightly disappointed because we really enjoyed the style of the hotel and the staff was friendly.

NYLO has the potential of a good, chic hotel, especially for the area. We booked specifically because it seemed like a boutique option in an area that doesn't have great options. Having said that, our stay fell short. Seems like lots of small issues. When we checked in (around 9 PM), we asked if there was a small fridge in room. The manager mentioned he could have one sent up – which was great. We got to the room and waited. No fridge came. Had to call the desk and ask if it was coming that night – didn't want to unwind and get an unexpected knock late at night. Very much appreciated the fridge but in the short time from the check in to the room the manager apparently forgot about it. No huge deal, but not a particularly busy night. The AC unit in our room awakened me very early in the morning with a loud clicking and clanging noise. We reported it to the front desk and were told an engineer would address it. When we returned later that evening, the unit was louder than ever. We called the desk AGAIN, and it seems the original engineer had left without placing the cover back on. Huh? How does that happen? Finally, it was fixed but after two calls. Not ideal. The shower was not completely clean – the grout and tile area near the floor appeared a bit scummy. Gross. Despite having a "service" sign on the door, housekeeping did not service. Again, no huge deal, but we did have to ask for fresh towels. We went down the the bar for an after dinner dessert and coffee.

Our department held an all-day meeting in one of the small private conference rooms at the hotel. The room was very nice and there were plenty of outlets for all our laptops. There was a thermostat for the room so we were all comfortable. The hotel provided fresh orange juice, coffee, and tea (a very good variety). We also arranged for the hotel to serve lunch. The spread was very good, I especially liked the vegetarian wrap option and the fresh fruit tray.

Room was nice, small. Check in was smooth. I had a weird problem with cigarette smoke coming in through the vent in the bathroom. I called twice and went to front desk. While the desk attendant was friendly, they didn't come to the room while now as there (1hour). Never got a note or any information about what happened, they never mentioned it to me, did nothing for me. Don't have a problem with something going wrong but they didn't handle it well at all. Should have followed up with me, should have done something about it, should have tried to make me feel like I was heard and they did something. General service was otherwise good, room was clean, bartender was very good, didn't eat there.

I surprised my wife with a surprise 1-night stay at NYLO. Though we only live a mile away from the hotel, having stayed at NYLO before, I knew our stay would be a special surprise for my wife as we celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary. I initially drove my wife to a low-budget motel in the area (just as a joke) but when I later pulled into the parking lot for NYLO, she was beaming. After checking in (mind you this was at 10:00 at night), we shared a delicious dessert dish at the Loft restaurant before retiring to our bedroom to binge watch Law and Order episodes. (Our hotel stay was all about relaxing, doing whatever we pleased, and not having to tend to children or pets). My wife's favorite part of waking up the next morning was to take a shower using the large shower head that she says is like taking a shower in the rain. By checkout, we were fully relaxed and only had a 2-minute ride home. We look forward to the opportunity to relax at NYLO in the future!

What a great hotel. Super modern. It's near a busy road but you wouldn't know it when you walk in the place. You can't hear a thing. The setting is awesome. They took an old mill and revitalized it. It right on the river so the views are great. The food is outstanding. Ask for Rhonda.

Had a nice time here for a wedding + overnight stay. Hotel rooms are nice (industrial styling), but oddly didn't feature a full length mirror. Restaurant/patio/function area was good, as was the food/drink. Location was agreeable, in that it was close to the Warwick mall, but the entrance was on a quieter street side. Had a dedicated parking lot. Hotel is a converted mill building set amongst a few other mill buildings, and a lazy river.

Hotel and room was beautiful and trendy. I was evacuating from Florida for Hurricane Irma and was grateful to get a reservation here. Marina was very helpful with booking, and very kind. Wish we would have arrived earlier and were not exhausted from travel. Check in was quick and easy, despite it being so late (after midnight. ) Room was spacious, bed exceptionally comfortable. Wish there were outlets near the bed to charge phones but this is hardly a concern of mine. Wish you had more locations for upcoming travel!

We enjoyed our one-night stay, except for a couple of tiny details, such as the clothing rack was way out of reach and there was no pen and paper and no list of hotel details/amenities. The rain shower head was heavenly and the bed linens were very comfortable. The staff nicely let us change rooms to one on a higher floor with the river view. Free parking was appreciated. The hotel could use more staff at peak afternoon check-in times to shorten the wait time and assist with bags. Beautifully decorated lobby, restaurant, and rooms!

Overall we loved our stay at NYLO Warwick, but the website and the confirmation sent to us was off. Maybe it was referring to the other locations but Warwick did not have a pool and the confirmation sent to us said check out was at noon. We were heavily harassed while leaving when we stayed for 3 nights about the check out time, we still didn't leave until noon since that was what was sent to us. The AC also could have been a bit cooler, we would heat up a bit at night. But most of the staff was very nice and helpful, the view was great and we were even able to check in early with a $30 fee, not too bad for checking in 4 hours early. Restaurant also had good filling food and a great atmosphere. We would stay again and recommend to others visiting Providence.

Rooms are contemporary with old industrial brick walls and concrete floors. Bathroom is small with a sliding door. Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I had no issue with outside noise while sleeping. Free ample parking is available across the street. Overall a very good hotel for the price.

Love this hotel! I stayed here before about a year ago and when I needed to come back into town I knew where to go! I love the modern feel of the renovated mill building. The beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly and it's very reasonably priced. The bar is great — delicious signature drink w/ blackberries and the food is tasty. Easy, accessible, free parking — always a plus! The only downside is I would like more info in the rooms — a menu maybe for the downstairs restaurant and times that the bar and restaurant were open. I called the front desk to ask, but would have liked it accessible in the room to read. Also, there were half used shampoo bottles left in the shower — but everything else was very clean, so must have just been an oversight. And — no fridge in the rooms — which is something I find I take for granted when staying somewhere. Overall, I'd definitely go back!

I really like the concept and the modernity of the place. I had a room with a view of the river, the area of it was very comfortable. Maintenance and cleanliness are satisfactory. Hostess very smiling and warm. Bravo!

Stayed 1 night and fell in love. The atmosphere and the staff was excellent. Clean and industrially modern. A new experience to staying in a hotel. We even decided to have our wedding here and the help we have been getting is incredible.

I practically live in hotels around the world and I loved this place. The amenities were very nice, while still being simple and functional. The industrial theme isn't excessive and it's not presented in an extravagant way, but the hotel carries a versatile air of class. Regarding the restaurant on the river, it's superb and the manager Kaylee is wonderful and knowledgeable. Have the cucumber cocktail.

Not a great place. Fake industrial look as an excuse for tiny rooms furnished with cheap furniture. Really bad lighting for doing anything in the room. Sticky floors, cheap rug tiles around the bed that were stained and not meshing together correctly. The headboards were a set of stairs that you had to climb up on to open or close the shades. The staff acting like they were running a great, trendy hotel with little concern for each customer. The patio, a selling point, was closed most of the day. No do not disturb signs or hours of the patio or anything at all about the hotel in the room. More like an Eastern European hotel than any brand of business hotel in the USA. Sorry.

Industrial meh. Overall the place felt dingy, dark, and in dire need of some updating, nothing like the photographs. The beds were comfy and the shower was nice, but that was about the only thing that felt like "luxury", other than the price. For "industrial chic" to work you need counterbalance, for example richness or (gasp) maybe some color in furnishings (both hard and soft), not cubbies from Ikea, beige worn out commercial indoor outdoor area rugs on the concrete floors, or dark drab faux suede upholstery throughout. The floors felt sticky, goodness knows when the last time they'd been washed, I certainly didn't see any mops among the housekeeping staff. And yay for an ironing board but here is a tip, you need a pad under the ironing board cover or the iron doesn't work. At the end of the day it was little things like that that annoyed and nothing felt like you were getting a fair value for the prices you were paying. From the $12 breakfasts with no refills on coffee to the $15 drinks at the bar. Which closed at midnight totally ruining our wedding groups after party, that and the rudeness of the bar staff. All of which sadly carried over to possibly disturbing other guests when the party had to be moved to one of the suites. Oh and those suites. Seriously don't waste your money. We paid $250 for one because we needed an extra bed, basically a cheap fold out couch with screws coming out of it but at least a place for a third person to sleep.

The NYLO is this luxurious oasis nestled in all the hustle and bustle of the Warwick Mall area. The staff is the highlight, providing excellent customer service and being very attentive to your needs. The hotel does not have room service but the surrounding area has lots to offer. As well, the on-site restaurant/lounge offers lots of great eats and drinks. The rooms might sound smaller but they are so cozy that you'll barely notice. Especially when you lay down on the exceptionally comfortable beds.

This hotel is beautiful and very reasonably priced. Friendly staff, clean, and trendy. The location is near alot of shopping areas and about 20 mins from college hill. I really enjoyed my stay and will visit again.

The rooms were aesthetically pleasing! Creative and fun atmosphere. Small, boutique hotel. Doesn't have the same amenities as a luxury hotel. Be prepared for smaller rooms, smaller-ish menus, and less exciting neighborhood. The bar was more than adequately stocked, and the food tasted great! The room slightly smelled like bleach and the shower was either freezing or scalding. But overall it was a great place, would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was enjoyable. The room had a fashionably industrial feel, with exposed pipes, edison bulbs, and concrete floors. The king platform bed was very comfortable, and had a good view of the wall-mounted LG tv. My only concern was the huge abandoned factory right next door, which made the area seem slightly sketchy when we first arrived. However, there were no issues with parking and walking between the lot and hotel.

It is not the traditional hotel, the decor is rustic and original. This in front of a shopping center, parking is free, the hotel is very quiet and clean. I do not regret to have chosen this hotel.

You pay a lot of money for a small room. No mini fridge, microwave, nothing. Don't come here in the summer, since my room has been 72 degrees for 2 days and won't get any cooler. The a/c is also extremely noisy. They insist that the a/c is working. I like it cold when I sleep. I'm just disappointed with this place. Oh and the Wi-Fi sucks so much.

Bar is nice. Very nice. Bartenders are friendly and professional. Foos is excellent as well.

Great hotel. Trying too hard to be hip. Fantastic staff and comfy bed. Location is good. Loved the shower and the room layout, the room is a tad small but very well designed. Very flexible about checking out a few minutes late. Overall s very good experience.

I used to come to area for work and dreaded it every time due to lodgings. This place is a game changer, nothing like in outside Providence. Highly recommended!

Asked front desk staff three times to address a room issue, which was never corrected. Contacted management to express my dissatisfaction. Was told that the issue was repaired the first time that I asked. (It was not) Would not recommend based on attention to detail and no interest in making it right.

The room was very nice as well as the ammenities in the hotel! Overall the experience I had with the staff and hotel was wonderful! Near to providence (about 15 minutes) and I drove to Provincetown in cape cod, it was beautiful and only took about an hour and a half! Definitely staying again.

Will never stay again way to much money for no service thanks for nothing and a horrible stay.

The AC did not work and was noisy, the bed was too soft and uncomfortable, the furniture was cheap and falling apart and they charged me for breakfast when I never ordered one, and they refused to remove the charge until I threatened them with a suit. They make you sign an agreement that "you do not smoke" but their employees can smoke outside by the entrance and the smoke drifted into my room that was over the entrance and it made me sick. The staff here was unprofessional.

If you like posh hotels this is a place to go! Very nice interior design. And if you want to visit Newport without paying for half the style double the money — it's just a half hour ride.

The hotel has a modern feel. And the rooms a very chic. Great gym. Bar area is nice. However, that's where it stops for myself. As a VERY FREQUENT traveler, there are no fridges in a room or microwave and it's extremely combative to get one. There is no onsite laundry so if you have an accident be prepared to drive. Yes I carry backups. But if you ruin a shirt too early on in your travels you may need it cleaned. And the front desk comes of as nice but yet you always get the feeling they don't want to help you. Or if they offer to take you some place the van "magically" is out or too busy for pick up. I won't say I don't recommend the hotel. Just know what your getting first.

Unique yes. Never knew this place existed in Warwick RI. Great place to stay I had a great nights sleep. The best part of the NYLO is the staff they are a GREAT TEAM they work very well together to ensure you have an enjoyable stay and that we did. I definitely will recommend the NYLO to friends and family and clients. You can have a great nights sleep if your staying or just to take the drive for drinks and dinner. And the breakfast buffet was AWESOME everything from fruit, to breakfast foods to fish and salads.

This is the 4th time staying, 1st without the dog. Always have a great experience.

We stayed at the NYLO 2 years ago. Had a great experience THEN. Rooms and the entire hotel were modern, beautiful, and the best beds we've EVER slept on! One of the best hotels we've stayed at!. Then TONIGHT happened! We had our room booked in advance and were expecting the same great experience. We travelled half the day on only 3 hours of sleep the previous night and were looking forward to getting to bed early 9:30 to 10pm for a very early start on a Sunday morning. Well, they had a party in their bar/ lounge with loud dance music POUNDING through the floors and walls. We couldn't even THINK OF SLEEPING! When I called the front desk at 11:15 to ask when the music would stop, the women said that it had been turned down and the party was to end at 12 MIDNIGHT! I could still clearly hear and feel the bass rattling the place. When I asked her if the place was a DISCO OR A HOTEL she said it was a hotel but they always book party's, and THERE WAS NOTHING SHE COULD DO ABOUT IT! APPARENTLY THEY VALUE THE PARTYS MORE THAN THOSE THAT PAY TO SLEEP HERE. It is almost midnight as I'm writing this review. THE MUSIC IS STILL ON AND I'M STILL AWAKE! We have one more night booked here. If the manager doesn't somehow make amends for a miserable evening, we will never stay here again! it's an absolute joke! at least inform your potential guests that there will be a party with loud music until midnight when booking. Never again staying here.

The worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The noise was unbearable — loud music all night long (10PM — 5:40 AM when we couldn't take it anymore and left). We called multiple times to the front desk and they simply refused to turn down the music, or said they would and then didn't. We slept for exactly 0 hours. When I called to talk to someone about the issues and to get a refund, they failed to call me back. I've now left three messages for Naomi over a 1 week period. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

This is an absolutely perfect hotel a fairly close drive to downtown Providence and not too far from Newport. The decor and atmosphere are awesome and very boutique hotel. Dog friendly! The rooms are not huge, but unique in layout and design. The beds are huge and very comfy and the bathroom more than adequate though a bit odd that you can kind of see into the shower from the bed. Chalk it down to quirkiness. The halls are a bit stark, but the overall atmosphere including the swings in the lobby are great. The staff was great from the front desk to the staff at the restaurant and bar. Very professional and courteous. They even loved our dog and kept doing their best to make friends with him. Parking is very convenient and ample in the lot and everything in Rhode Island seems to be only a 45 minute drive. Very easy access to Providence and Newport. The best part was the deck and lounge chairs along the river that are attended to by great wait staff. The couches are super comfortable and Hershey loved nestling into them for an evening drink and nap. The beer selection wasn't huge but had some good choices like a Mexican hefeweizen that we enjoyed each night. We looked forward to relaxing on the deck almost as much as we do at home during our stay. Centrally located, dog friendly, and great accommodations make the NYLO a perfect place to stay when exploring Rhode Island.

Probably the best hotel I have stayed in — at least in the USA! The customer service was a breath of fresh air — coming from New York! The staff were polite, helpful and even when they were busy during breakfast times and under a lot of pressure, they still kept a good attitude and served with a smile! Special thanks to Sean who was extremely professional and helpful. The bed — wow! The best bed I have ever slept on — I just melted into the mattresss! The food was very tasty and not too expensive either. I just hope when they open one in NYC, the prices are affordable and the great customer service is maintained. Highly recommend it and I will go back again before I leave the USA.
