Ok, so, we were on vacation. The hotel is nice and it looks like it was just remodeled recently. We arrived early so we stopped to see if we could check in early, I walked through the door and stood at the counter for 10 minutes before a younger lady came from the back room. Fast forward a day, we realized the side door next to the pool did not lock at night so anyone could walk in, the key cards for the room had to be swiped 3 to 4 times before the lock would work. Fast forward day 3, a couple outside the hotel and then inside the lobby were making such a fuss that the police were called. At night people were standing around their cars that weren't staying at the hotel. Look, the owners and staff seem to do an excellent job at cleaning and trying to keep guests happy, but I think they are fighting an up hill battle because of the area. I know I wish I researched the area a little better before we booked the room for 9 days.

Right off highway. Nice area. Close to brown university. Will stay again.

I was pretty satisfied with my stay here. The front desk staff were friendly. My room was on the first floor and right around the corner from the front desk. I also had the handicapped room which I didn't mind because the bathrooms are always more spacious. The room always smelled nice when I arrived from training in the afternoon and sheets changed. Lots of lights, outlets, and Wi-Fi. Air and heat worked fine. Had a coffee machine in the room but can't tell you about breakfast since I would order from the Dunkin Donuts across the street. Didn't see any interesting restaurants in the immediate area so I ordered from Grubhub.

Very friendly place with staff at your disposal.

I loved the rooms and everything was clean. I did not enjoy being yelled at, at 8am in the morning that my service dog is not allowed in the breakfast room. The people working here need to be much more educated with dogs and their services. Other than this, I had a wonderful time and enjoyed my stay here. Great for the price!

Was great stay, updated rooms. Lobby was under construction/renovation. Airport shuttle was great and friendly. Only issue was someone banging loudly on door as I was falling asleep that night.

Not impressed with my stay here. Came for a nice evening with my husband and daughter while my house had no water. The fan in the bathroom was broken, pee yu, stinky. When I arrived there was tape on our number to the room and a hole on the other side, not a good impression. Then I noticed there were nothing but feather pillows and I am allergic so no pillow for me as they had no alternatives. When I told the front desk they were like oh that's what we have and that I could just take the tape off the number of our room. Basically "I don't care that your stay was uncomfortable and below standards. Not impressed La Quinta.

No sun blinds. Had Street light blasting into room at night. Dirty window. Otherwise, comfortable beds. Good coffee and breakfast.

I was a little weary at first because the inspection sticker was not posted inside the elevator. However upon entering my room, it was the cleanest smelling room I have ever stayed. There was also a generous amount of pillows and blankets which is always a plus.

The La Quinta was exactly what I needed for a last-minute overnight in Warwick. My boyfriend and I were able to check in late night (around 1AM) with no problem after a concert at Foxwoods (about 45 minutes away). Though renovations were taking place at the time, the room itself was very tidy and well-kept! The included continental breakfast was nice and coffee and tea were available in the lobby at any time. Overall, would definitely stay again should I need lodging in the area!

What a great place! It is very inexpensive, so I did not expect much. A clean bed was all I needed. Well, the place is quite nice! My room was newly refurbished, lovely decor, and spotless! Cannot comment on the breakfast, as I left really early. But there was a coffeemaker in the room, which pleased me. Shuttle hours are rather puzzling, but fine early am and from 6 pm on. Since I left my car with them and my return flight was at 5 pm, I intended to Uber it. When I mentioned this to the shuttle driver, he said he actually reports to work at 5pm, so no problem, just call. In addition, one does not have to wait out in the winter chill; he calls you when he arrives at the passenger pickup area. Very nice! Like the shuttle driver, all of the personnel at La Q went out of their way to please. They were lovely! I will return to La Q, Warwick!

Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Loved it. Staff was not overly helpful or professional. The women that checked us in was not friendly or welcoming. The young man the next morning was somewhat more friendly, but did not try very hard. The elevator was quite dirty. It appeared the corners had never been vacuumed. I spilled my coffee within 10 feet of the front desk and another guest got me napkins to clean it up. The front desk man never offered any help. I am responsible for cleaning up my own mess, but an offer of paper towels or mop would have been appreciated. As I was wiping up the floor I realized the corners and baseboards were filthy. This was in the room where breakfast was served. This could be a great option as a hotel near the airport with a better cleaning service and with some staff training. It should be an easy fix. Also staff may be instructed to acknowledge the presence of guests as the arrive or depart. This is common courtesy and a good business practice.

The room is clean, comfy and cute. The main thing you need to know is that there is no fan in the bathroom. Kind of a bummer when you're sharing the room with someone. Otherwise, it's a nice place.

"High speed internet" barely worked. Room had strong odor in it. Furniture/room not up to date. However, gets 3 stars due to cheap price and location (near airport and center). Front desk staff was nice.

The hotel is great for the price. Housekeeping is great and most of the staff was friendly. I was there for one weekend and had a super busy day and did not get to sleep until 5am. I was woken up on Sunday morning to the sound of construction above me at 9am. I called the front desk and they said “someone should have told you at check in” she was extremely unsympathetic and said “well they have to work” she offered No solutions and was extremely rude. I slept a total of 3 hours that night and it completely ruined the next day for me because I was exhausted. I called the corporate office number to file a complaint and later that evening the manager called to let me know that they were not charging me for that night. I appreciated the discount but it didn’t make up for the lack of sleep or the frustration from dealing with the person I first spoke with.

Just to spend a night is correct, for more to avoid!

It was very easy to check in, even though we were a large group. The room was very comfortable, and we loved the sink outside the bathroom. I would only wish for a scrambled eggs option at breakfast.

What a terrible experience. After requesting and confirming an early check in due to having dogs and a wedding shower to make upon getting into town, that was denied upon arrival. The rooms were empty just not cleaned. After requesting that they at least let us leave the dogs in a dirty room (just to have a place to leave them so we could get on with our day) we scrambled to make other unconvinent arrangements for them. Hours later we were able to check in. The room wreaked of Marijuana, paint is falling off the ceiling, the bathroom sink wouldn't drain, nor would the shower. After taking a shower, and allowing my feet to soak in the dirty water, we called the front desk to have it taken care of. Maintenance was in our room, confirmed the shower was fixed, only to find that he did absolutely nothing to it. This hotel, to say the least, blows.

The room was nice and very clean. Housekeeping makes sure of that. They are going through renovations including the breakfast to make the hotel a better stay, but our stay was just fine as is. There are tracks a ways out behind the hotel where you will hear and see trains, but in my opinion it isn't loud. Actually it was fun trying to see which train was running and in which direction it was going. Restaurants, gas and other things are nearby.

My stay was quiet and nice. Thomas did a wonderful job accommodating my needs and making sure I was satisfied with my room. When I found out I had to stay a little longer, another front desk receptionist was, Cheryl, not so accommodating. In which it took Abdul to complete my extension, as she walked away. The area is convenient and there's a nice pub right across from the hotel.

Really 2.5 stars. They have a complete renovation scheduled, and they need it. They DO have AC in every room, refrigerators and microwaves when requested, a dedicated customer laundry room, a reasonably good Continental breakfast, and a pool. The vent in my bathroom doesn't work, which may have contributed to the crazy high humidity when I walked in — I've had to run the AC pretty hard to dry the space out. Speaking of which, the AC works, even though it does sound like it doesn't have much time left in this world. It is completely adequate, just nothing to write home about (strange then that I am writing to you).

Older property that is taking advantage of weather stranded flyers. Forced to pay 175 last night at the airport Hilton Garden Inn, but at least it is a high end, welcoming facility with a cooked to order breakfast. This La Quinta property, being one of the last with available rooms offering an airport shuttle gouged me for 213 — about 100 more than its worth. Nothing special and waited 50 min for the shuttle to pick me up when I was told 10 min. Sketchy neighborhood. I wouldn't be here if anything else had been available.

It s a nice place. Great that it's right of rt. 37 Staff is great food needs improvement.

I was there to visit family. Its a clean and beautiful hotel.

Dirty rooms and unfriendly night staff. Stayed on Christmas Eve and unfortunately our dog had a little anxiety when we got back to the room. He barked a couple of times and we instantly got a call from the rude girl at the front desk as if she never heard a dog bark. Our room was extremely close to the front desk so I feel we were singled out because every time I walked down the end of the hallway you could hear a ton of dogs barking. I went up there and asked her for an extra blanket and told her I would take the dog in the car and sleep out there with him. She didn't acknowledge me and just walked away and came back with a thin blanket. I said thank you and she just walked away from me. I could understand if our dog was barking all night but it was very brief. Perhaps they should not allow dogs at this hotel if you are only going to single out the dog in the room next to the front desk. Worst experience I've ever had and what a way to treat your guest on Christmas.

Pros: spacious room, good breakfast options Cons: bathroom not clean, bath soap was bad.

It's okay, but preferable to find something in Providence.

Wonderful treatment of workers, cleaning in the rooms and in the hotel. Have caffe, tea, water… free to guests and rooms with micro and clean. Excellent place.

Overall, it was a pretty good stay. The room was clean and well maintained. The bed was a little hard, but better than average when you compare it to most other hotels. Breakfast is included complete with fresh-made waffles. But protein options are limited.

I stayed at this Hotel last week Thursday 8/25/16, rooms are very nice & clean also the front desk staff too. There is Doherty Beer House across the parking lot. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Warwick. I will stay again at this Hotel.

Staff is totally inattentive and the fourth was dirty the breakfast was not fresh I would not recommend it, I gave a star to make the comment.

So if your looking for a low price hotel with free breakfast, and a swimming pool this is the place for you. But if your looking for cleanliness well, I would look else where. The carpets and furnishing are stained and the whole hotel has a bad musty smell.

It only lacks improve cleaning. Quiet place. Good breakfast.

Reservation hotline insisted rooms were available but I was turned away by the front desk when I presented my CLC card.

Great hotel. Room was very clean. Staff was friendly. The general manager is doing a fantastic job there.

Front desk staff has been indifferent at best, downright rude at the worst. Some in our party weren't given the rooms they reserved, which we understand sometimes happens, but they were so rude about it. Then there was a water leak somewhere in the ceiling below one of our rooms and a staff member loudly and repeatedly pounded on the door without identifying who they were, which is unnerving when you're a woman alone with two children. Other than that… it's an older hotel so you know what that offers you. Lots of needed upgrades and updates and dingy finishings.

It looked worn out on the outside but the inside was better. Provided most things like Wi-Fi, breakfast, shampoo, soap, sheets, pillows, but it didn't smell to well and the elevator was so slow that it was way easier to just walk up.

Horrible customer service, my room was unknowinly cancelled and receptionist responded rudely, screamed over me and told me to pretty much figure it out, not her problem. Before the incident called 3xs prior, each time I was very unhappy with the customer service given and no one offered any solutions, just an uncaring and rude attitude.

Noisy, smelled like cigarettes, a lot of people hanging around being loud all the night in the hotel. Dusty tables and old-fashioned furniture. Bed was clean and comfortable, but all in all not a nice place to stay. Creepy people hanging around.

2 queen size beds in a smoking room, great deal but I wish the pillows were better. There needs to be firm and soft pillows available. When I went to check out my car battery was dead and asked for a jump. Staff refused to help with the work van or their personal vehicles. I expected this because people from RI are rude and the whole state sucks in general.

They put a 10 day hold on my bank account for 96$ even tho I paid cash. Now I'm on my vacation and can't use it till I'm home. And the lady at the front desk was a C U Next Tuesday!

It was okay. Way over priced. Only had a smoking room left… I'm not a smoker and the hallway and rooms smelt like pot and cigarettes. The place needs to be upgraded badly.

It's an ok size. Love that they are Pet friendly, brought my dog with me. The cons was that the table in the room was broke, towels were a little dirty and dresser drawers were old looking. But other wise I would recommend this hotel.

The staff was plenty nice and helpful and helped unload our luggage from our car onto a cart. The room was basic but good enough for a night's stay. The stay was a bargain for those looking to fly from Providence and leaving their cars at a secure location. The shuttle got us to the airport quickly. I wasn't aware that there were only certain times the shuttle ran but they made good on picking us up. There was a large prep school hockey time that stayed and the lower exit to the rear parking lot reaked like pot. But hey it's the 21st century so it didn't bother me.

I was really worried about this place because it was a priceline deal (so I didn't know what I was getting before it was already booked and paid for). However, so far, I'm happy (and I am not easy to please about hotel rooms). Our room is clean. No funky odors. The lobby was bright and airy. And the front desk staff was courteous and efficient. So far, so good.

My car was stolen out of the parking lot and there's no cameras outside of the building. So im screwed and you think they care.

Do Not Book Here! I read the other negative reviews and figured it couldn't be that bad, boy do I wish I listened! The staff, including the General Manager Marcy, was rude as could be and the rooms are not clean, there was dried feces/vomit on the wall in bathroom, black dust on tops of furniture, and the toilet was dirty. It seemed as though housekeeping had made beds and sprayed some lemon scent and left. I spoke with the housekeeping supervisor and her response to me was that she knows how her maids clean and its fine and they don't have to dust. What a joke! Then she proceeded to give me a very rude attitude and clean the dirty room. I spoke to General Manager Marcy about this and was told and I quote "if you do not like it here you can leave, I'm sure another hotel could accommodate your needs. " My needs were only cleanliness. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here, BIG mistake.

When I checked in, the young girl at the front desk was incredibly rude. When I got to my room, the beds were not made and there was a strong cigarette smell even though I booked a non smoking room. At 3 in the morning, I got woken up by hooligans running through the halls screaming vulgar language. Not only did I not fall back asleep, I didn't even get my wake up call at 6 am like I was supposed to. There was barely anything at breakfast and the shuttle that was supposed to take me to the airport wasn't there because the driver was on break. Definitely not staying here again and I'll be sure to reconsider going to other La Quinta properties in the future.

I had made a reservation online three days in advance, for a room for 2 people with a king size bed. When we went to check in at the desk, the woman said she couldn't find a reservation under either of our names. I already didn't like what was going on. I mentioned that I had the confirmation email to prove it to her. After looking on her computer for a while she said she didn't have a room with a king sized bed. I replied by telling her I reserved a room with one. She said "Yes you reserved the room but I don't have a room with a king sized bed available. " Which made absolutely no sense to me. She offered a room with two full sized beds or a room with one full sized bed. We clearly wanted the room with one but she misunderstood me and we had to resort to staying in a room with two full sized beds. It was awkward to sleep in the same bed with an empty one awkwardly next to us. The room was small and when I showered, it flooded the bathroom floor. The buttons on the air conditioner in the room did not work, instead there was a thermostat awkwardly placed on the wall. The elevator stopped for a good 10 seconds before the doors opened on our floor, felt like it was going to break. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.
