Loved the room themes. The rooms were nice. Customer service is great. Bathrooms could be larger; but, I'm here for the vacation not the bathroom! Overall, I enjoyed my time in this cozy hotel. I plan on coming back next year!

The owner was really great. The only problem was there is no AC in the motel rooms and it was a very hot night.

Very accomodating for our late check in. Cute cottages. Decent enough breakfast, but it was 90 degrees outside and there is no AC. It was soooooo miserably hot. And the shower had an old bar of soap in it. Tiny bathroom with tiny bathroom and horrible shower.

The cabin we rented was really cute. Although it is a two bedroom, the bedrooms are separated with walls that do not reach the ceiling and therefore any noise can be heard easily throughout the cabin. The walls to the bathroom extend to the ceiling but again sound carries easily and the bathroom is right off the kitchen. It is decorated quaintly with a sea shore theme. There is a stove, fridge, microwave, toaster and I think a coffee maker — though I didn't get to use any of these items. Dishes, towels and dish soap are all provided — though the warnings about needing to reimburse the hotel if any of the towels or bedding are stained seem a little draconian. The wicker couch and rocking chair were uncomfortable and the kitchen table had only 3 chairs (the cabin sleeps 4) and wobbled. There is a nice deck with 2 deck chairs. With all that being said, the location is perfect. Equidistant between Belfast and Camden and right next to a lovely area with a lobster pound. I would definitely stay there again. Expect functionality not comfort or luxury, go with people you know well and take full advantage of the things to do in the surrounding area.

We’ve stayed here once already this season and we are going back. The staff is amazing and accommodating, the cottages (we’ve only stayed in one so far) are adorable. If you’re looking for a luxury hotel with all the bells and whistles, this isn’t it. This is a relaxing, clean, quiet, tiny cottage that is perfect for a weekend getaway. I see reviews about the sizes being an issue or the age of the place, this isn’t a Marriott or Hilton resort, it’s for people that love charming, quaint places that they can relax and enjoy their families and the area. I will continue to visit the Bay Leaf Cottages and recommend them to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful place to get away from the city!

This place looks nice, but smell like dog's poop! Can't stay longer. I've been many cottage, this one was smallest.

The owner is so rude She made us wait until she come at 8pm Then gave us higher price than online price When I asked her about the reason for the difference. She told us that it's extra because we made her drive down to the office. She told us "keep driving" if we don't like the rate. Wow… Yes we did and found much nicer place in few miles.

We rented the apartment for 3 nights. It is above the main building, and has plenty of space for a family of four. There is a main room with a very well equipped kitchen and breakfast bar, a living room with a pull out couch, chairs, and a TV, then two bedrooms — one with a queen and the other with a twin and a full. Very roomy, clean, pretty decor. No AC, but lots of fans and it was cool overnight anyway. Decent breakfast included in the morning. Lovely grounds. Ping pong, foosball, etc for the kids. Convenient to local attractions.

Don't stay here if you need air conditioning and then they say hey you're in Maine it's 67 degrees but then they have this sign on the window where you can't get any cross Breeze the owner was very nasty to me she hung up on me when I try to speak to her about this and then later on emailed me beware. I have a heart condition that requires air conditioning and she didn't even bother to call me back or ask me just demeaning me with another email.

Cottages are small but cute and cosy. Grounds are pleasant. Breakfast has a good variety of items. The evening fog/mist came in during our stay and made for a very calm and peaceful morning. Definitely would stay here again.

Very cozy, close to many little towns. 2 hours from bar harbor. Very nice. Cottages available.

I arrived yesterday evening with 4 teenagers. So far our visit has exceeded our expectations. Very clean, comfortable, and friendly! The location is perfect and views spectacular.

I spent 3 glorious nights in cottage 10. This place was even better than I had expected. Clean, cute as a button, quiet, spectacular shower, comfortable bed. Check in was easy and Delores was very accommodating. I will most definitely be back.

Our room was clean and the beds were surprisingly comfortable — I've had much worse beds in chains and 'nicer' motels. They offer rooms and cabins; the cabins are much more expensive, but may have a bit more room. The grounds are attractive and the staff is friendly. They also accept small — and medium-size dogs, but make sure to mention when booking. They provide a very nice doggie package (food/water bowl, extra towel and blanket, poop bags, and a list of local dog-friendly businesses). We packed five of us (two adults, two kids, and our dog) into one of the rooms and were pretty happy for the night. A perfectly acceptable continental breakfast is available in the morning. For the price we were very happy with our room.

Básic cottage with mattress and shower, depending on your needs could be either enough or lacking. The service was shockingly poor given the area and how well we were treated elsewhere. Sarcasm does not add points when attending tired customers.

Wonderful time. My family and I plan to return annually.

I have been traveling with my dogs for 12 years and counting. This place is one of the best places I have encountered. The dogs were greeted w/a goodie bag. The cabins were so clean and tidy. You would never guess another family had been in the cabin previously with a dog. A information book was given to you of all the pet friendly locations you can bring your dog (from beaches/parks/restaurants ect) There was an endless about to do with you and your pet! I would strongly recommend this place to any one traveling with pets! Such a great stay, we were sad to leave! Thank you for a great stay!

I was in the area attending a Dog Trial. I had a motel room here. Breakfast was awesome, the dog area was fenced and well-kept. I received a "Dog Bag", that included a blanket, dog bowls, waste bags, treats. We were made to feel like kings. This is a quaint motel/cottage. Traffic noise wasn't noticeable. Wi-Fi was great. Room had a refrigerator, coffee machine, microwave, tv, couch. Will definitely return here next year. To top it all off, I received a "THANK YOU NOTE" from them for my stay! It doesn't get any more "Maine" than this.

This is a very sweet and reasonably-priced place to stay in beautiful Lincolnville, ME. Convenient location. We stayed in a cabin with our 10-month-old and we were very happy. The owner, June, makes you feel right at home and her daughter Emily is so sweet and helpful. A wonderful stay — we'd love to come back.
