Wonderful Gem! We had a wonderful stay. Comfortable rooms, the owners were so accommodating and nice. Lights in the trees, lime ferries in the woods. Beds so comfortable and wonderful linens. We were on motorcycles and they supplied towels and were so helpful getting us out of the rain. Nice size rooms. Delivery service for food was available, and it was tastey. Thank you!

Owners go above and beyond to make sure you leave with smiles. Saturday and Tuesday night fires are awesome with sing-along. The smiles they put on myself and my family's faces are priceless, and with that said, I will be coming back. Thank you again for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful time here! Motels and cabins were built in the 1950s, but the owners have done an excellent job keeping them in excellent condition with modern, efficient amenities. Comfortable (and cutely-designed) rooms, clean bathrooms and linens, pet-friendly options, ample parking. Often have firepit and socialization nights for all the guests who want to hang out outside at night when the weather's good. Located in a sweet spot that's easy to access other local highlights, beautiful and well-tended grounds, sweet and friendly owners, and extraordinarily well-priced for those who are looking for a getaway! If I come back this way, I'm definitely staying here again.

My family thoroughly enjoy our stay at Ducktrap Motel. The location is perfect — not right in the middle of town but not too far either. There is a beach within walking distance. The rooms — we stayed for two nights in the two-bedroom cottage — are clean, lovely, and like other reviewers have mentioned, have one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in while on the road. The owners are friendly and super helpful. Highly recommend.

The motel exceded our expectations. In a great location between Northport and Camden. The room was very spacious, with some of the most comfortable beds to rival even the most expensive hotels. The towels were soft and not what you expect from a motel. The owners were very friendly, and you can tell they take a lot of pride in their business. We will absolutely be returning on our next trip to Maine.

Nicely renovated room, it is obvious that this place cares about it’s visitors. Clean rooms, new furniture, nice furnishings, nice full fluffy towels (not those cheap ones) made it a very comfortable stay. The couple that greeted us were lovely, and showed us every aspect of the room. If we are back in the area, we would be sure to stay again, and others should too!

This place is so adorable. Beautiful refurbished cabins with a variety of bed sizes. The decor is right out of a coastal living magazines. Rolling lawns, outside seating and fantastic hosts. Will go back. Heating and air conditioning, clean and ecological.

My husband and I have just returned from another relaxing stay at the Ducktrap Motel. Every time we arrive, we are impressed by the continual upgrades. This trip revealed new heating/air conditioning units which are totally quiet. But the biggest surprise was the addition of a beautiful new fire pit on the spacious front lawn. Across from the ocean and in close proximity to Camden and other larger towns, this property offers travelers a calm and beautiful location. Luxurious towels and spa quality toiletries also show that owners Reesa and Scott truly care about their guests. Can't wait to go back!

Such a awesome place to pull off and stay or just stay a week or 2 in right in front of the beach Scott plays a wicked guitar! Plus he knows some pretty cool people :) if you ask.

Quiet cottage. Clean and folks who own and run the motel were great. Simple basics in cottages. Ours had new mattress that was great!

I was a bit disappointed that my towels weren't refreshed, it was hot and steamy outside — but that's my bad for not hanging the make up room sign. I was unaware of the change of owners — but WOW the upgrades are awesome! I could see myself spending a week in the area… I'd love to see a smore's pit.
