I highly recommend this hotel. Out of all the hotels I’ve stayed at for the RNR race weekend over the past 10 or so years, THIS is the best. The employees were friendly and helpful. The room was well-kept and clean. It was more spacious than expected. The cafe and Bombay room were a delight. Best of all it was fairly quiet even with it being so close to Bourbon St — also wonderful location for walking anywhere in the Quarter.

I'd recommend staying at this hotel and I'd stay here again when I come back to New Orleans. The location is awesome. Right in the French Quarter, close to Bourbon Street but still quiet. Our King Bedroom was very nice, comfortable bed, everything was clean, the TV worked. The staff is friendly and I appreciate that we could store our luggage after we checked out since our flight wasn't until that afternoon. The photos on the hotel website are accurate, it's really that nice.

Messed up my reservations multiple times then rude when arrived and computers were down so reservations messed up again. Then after 30 min of waiting with kids and all in tow after hours in the car we finally got keys but wasn’t really apologetic in any of it. To top it off they had so much stuff in-front of the doors so we had to wait even longer. It’s been a really rough trip and we were looking forward to relief with a booking at was supposed to be wonderful. I was hoping to book on our way back home also but that’s definitely not going to happen. Did speak to one sweet worker on their call center though wish she worked in this location.

I was very pleased with my stay. Everything was nice, the room was large and had a nice decor and atmosphere! The employees were exceptional. Polite and helpful. I have visited NOLA on many occasions but always stayed on Canal Street at Marriott or Hilton, but I think I have been converted, moving forward Prince Conti it will be. Stayed in a Jr Suite! Thanks for a great Birthday stay!

This is the first time my family has stayed at this hotel. Absolutely loved the hotel, the location, and everyone at the front desk were very helpful. We are planning on making this an annual trip to visit New Orleans and attend a Saints game.

This place doesn’t take the fact their employees steal seriously. My preachers wife, who is also a photographer, had her lens and flash stolen. She calls the hotel multiple times and they are of no help. Sad. Go elsewhere when you are in NOLA. If you can’t leave anything in your room without being stolen from… why go?

After a long drive, we were welcomed immediately and had to change several arrangements with no problem. The staff was very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our every request. The room was very cozy and clean. I certainly would recommend this historic yet modern hotel. Thank you for a very memorable first trip to New Orleans.

Great hotel, close to all French Quarter activities but quite when you’ve had enough fun.
The Bombay club had a nice wine list and appetizers for a cozy evening.
The little cafe was fantastic, the wait staff was very friendly, coffee was excellent as was the food.

Highly recommend. Great people working there. Forgot something and they mailed it to us.

I loved every second of my stay here. The staff is Very Friendly and knowledgeable of the surrounding attractions. They were taking care of my needs before I could even ask. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and affordable. They are closely located to Bourbon Street, and in walking distance to all points of interest. I high recommend this hotel!

Wonderful location, great staff! There valet parking was super convenient — parking and driving in the French quarter is not fun. It was awesome to just drop the car and pick it up later. The only complaint is that the ac is not awesome on the third floor (sleeping at 75F — not bad, but warm). It gets hot in the summer — would be just fine in the winter / fall / spring.

Great place to stay. The location is awesome. Close to places to eat and things to do. The hotel makes you feel like your in New Orleans with it's history and style. I have stayed 3 times and have and will be staying with them again very soon. Can't wait!

Excellent hôtel, good rates, in the heart of the French Quarter. The BombayClub is a must, even if you don’t reside at the hotel. Nice ambiance. Good drinks. Not those slushy horrors you’ll find on Bourbon St! Glad to have stayed over there!

Love the hotel, have stayed there a few times now and I always come back. The desk clerk is wonderful, the young man who parked our car is very friendly at the hotel. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The bathroom is also very clean. The price is reasonable and they will send you updates on good rates. Also you are Right by bourbon street.

Great location in the French Quarter. Walking distance to all the great restaurants & bars. Hotel is full of local charm. Rooms are super clean & staff is very accommodating. You won’t find a more charming & New Orleans authentic location! Highly recommend!

Overall, Prince Conti was a great hotel. The location is awesome because it's right in the French Quarter. It's literally like 15 steps from Bourbon Street. The nice thing is that it's not actually on Bourbon Street though, so you don't hear all the noise. The room was fairly small, and the bathroom was tiny, but it did the job. Who really spends that much time in their room anyway? I will say that some parts of the room were worn or dingy. The little chair at the vanity needed re-upholstered and the cover at the end of the bed had some stains. The front desk workers and valet were great. I would still recommend this place. The location and price are worth it.

Hotel was nice and as well as the staff. The club bar attached was beautiful and very relaxing. Great location if looking to be around bourbon street. Rooms are a bit out dated for my taste but non the less very nice.

Location is great, but that's all this place has going for it. The bathroom is pretty gross, mold on the ceiling, floor, and shower curtain. Shower head had discolored residue on it. Large yellow stain on the wall paper. Sheets had a few small stains. Room is pretty dark, had only one small window to a tiny courtyard, which doesn't provide much light. No lobby seating or any common areas. Many better options in the area for similar or even lower prices.

The hotel service was great. Our room (king suite) was spacious and clean. The hotel was located in the French quarters without it being too close to the action (although you can occasionally hear the street ruckus at night). It's a lovely hotel that certainly lives up to its historical name.

Quaint. Excellent location. Strange lights turning off and on and water appearing randomly. We chalked it up to the ghost lore and enjoyed the stay. :-)

The hotel is in a great location with a terrific lounge on the property. There is a coffee shop type restaurant but the service is really weak. Since there are hundreds of other places it is easy to skip.

I'll start with the good… the entire staff I encountered was professional and always willing to help! Now the hotel itself was run down, like it hasn't had any TLC in a long time! Mold on the bathroom ceiling, cardboard to help the shower rod stay up. Not very clean at all. For the price I expected much more upkeep of the hotel. Would I stay again? Probably not.

There was no vent in the bathroom for one. There was mold around the tub where it meet the tile and on the floor time. You could see where they painted over mold. Found a small cockroach in the bathroom. Rude staff when asked about it and I was not rude like I should have been. Advertised half off parking and did not follow threw with me and charged full price. It smelled like piss and vomit after you get off the elevator. I asked for another room and was told if there was not any available then Found out they lied from another employee. I will never stay there again.

The hotel is super old and needs renovation. The carpet was stained, the walls flaking, the switches need to be replaced and you get a general feeling that the room is not as clean as it should be. I even found black hairs on the bathroom tiles. There was no mini fridge or microwave in the room. The beds were comfortable. One lady knocked on our door, but didn't give us enough time to answer and she walked in to check if our room was made by the maid! We were very upset by the luck of discretion. They allowed us to bring our bikes upstairs in the room, which was very convenient, but I couldn't stop thinking what this did to the carpets' cleanliness. I guess you get what you pay for. I would say it's suitable for young crowds partying. On the other hand, the room was quiet, the hotel is located right in the heart of the French Quarter and the staff is very polite and friendly, especially one of the valet parking guys. But I don't think I would like to stay there again, as cleanliness is important to me.

Carrie Ann, was rude and unpleasant, I needed a new room key made which then made my friends room key invalid. When asked if she would be around throughout night if not on break she replied with, probably not, when asked where she would be if not on break she said, "It's none of your business. "! I'm far away from home and just wanted to make sure my friend got in safe! She was not kind and very unfriendly and unreliable! Rooms are small and definitely not worth the money spent for service like this! Wont be returning! Carrie Ann shouldn't be serving Patrons at a place like this with her attitude!

Good location for the hotel. Not even a minute to walk to Bourbon street and have a nice time out. Room was old-fashioned but homey and clean. A/C worked great. Bed was very comfortable.

Overall a very positive experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a clogged toilet and a missing TV remote, and both were promptly handled without complaint. Rooms were very nice,. My only real concern was we had trouble finding enough outlets to plug in our devices. A power strip would have been helpful.

The location for this hotel is absolutely amazing. The rooms are on the small side but it's exactly what you'd expect for a hotel in the quarter, and bigger than I thought they'd be for the price per night. The room and bathroom were extremely clean! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My husband and I are currently on our second night here and we're absolutely in love with this cozy hotel. Upon checking in, the front desk told us they had left us a little treat in our room for our anniversary! We walked in & there was a bottle of champagne waiting! This hotel is as close to bourbon street as you can get for the price, without hearing anything from the rowdy crowd. Will definitely be back with a group of friends!

The suite that we stayed in was updated and beautiful. However it was next door to the laundry area where a delivery truck picks up and delivers linen each morning, it was very noisy. The street traffic and late night music was also very loud. So if you stay here, ask for an interior room. The staff and the restaurant were all excellent.

Great location right in the middle of downtown and French Quarter. Short walk to Canal St, Bourbon, and Jackson Sq. Room was small, but clean with decent amenities. Service was good, bellhops and valets were friendly.

My husband and I stayed here 3 days and 3 nights and we had an OK experience. The hotel itself is in need of some updating and much needed maintenance. The halls have paint peeling and the carpets need to be replaced. The walls are paper thin you can hear everything going on in the halls AND you can hear music playing, I assume from one of the local bars, ALL NIGHT. I had to ask the hotel staff to clean our room because when we first came in there was hair in the bed all over the sheets and pillows as well as in the bathroom/toilet area. Also the drain in the tub was clogged so we showered in ankle deep water. AND the coffee machine didnt work. The only good thing about the hotel was the location. You can literally walk everywhere from here and bourbon street is a block away. If you're only looking for somewhere to crash when you're wasted then this place is perfect. If you want something clean with any amenities I suggest you look elsewhere…

Great value hotel! Staff was friendly and genuinely cared about us. The maid service does an excellent job here. It's a very old building, but everything was clean!

Stayed there two nights over Halloween and the best thing I could say was its location near Bourbon St. (Very Close). The hotel shows its age, so it's cool in that regard, but updates would be nice if structurally possible. Room was small and very tight (hard to move around with another guest or room for luggage), hardly any outlets and included view of dilapidated (some crumbling) surrounding rooftops. When cleaning crew present the hall is too narrow to get luggage cart through (on arrival) and too narrow on way out toting suitcase (cleaning staff had to move their cart all the way down hall to get through). Finally, if self parking or stopping at entrance to load/unload, good luck backing out of one-way breezeway at entrance if someone arrives behind you. Street construction near entrance did not help, but not the fault of hotel. I've stayed in the French Quarter 6 times over the years and tried different hotels, but I would not repeat this one. Sorry.

This hotel is great and has a great price tag! It’s tucked away but just around the corner from all the action. They allowed us early check in, and upgraded us to a bigger room which was great and so nice of them. The only complaint I have is you can hear almost everything outside your door because the air conditioning isn’t loud enough to drown it out, but that’s to be expected with older places. All around I would definitely stay here again!

Our first time at the hotel was pretty decent, we decided to stay again this year because of the location, our room this time was not the same quality as our last stay, but the same price, as we checked out and got into our vehicle, we noticed damage by the door, after weeks of emailing back and forth, we were finally paid, but the valet fees were not returned as we requested, since the vehicle was damaged in the care of the valet, we are also out of pocket almost $500 in rental car fees while our vehicle was being repaired. I’d stay at the hotel again, but never use the valet again.

Great room and decor. Cold AC. They sent us free champagbe for getting married! No wait to get our car parked. Polite staff. Very clean.

Amazing staff, excellent service, affordable and the location couldn't be better! Everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. Definitely recommend! Just an FYI it is a very old hotel — — full of charm and history but still has all the amenities including free Wi-Fi that you would expect in a modern hotel. It was my first time visiting and my birthday week — the staff left goodies in my room — talk about hospitality!

We just came back from our first trip to New Orleans. This hotel met my perfect expectation for this historic town. We stayed in a King Room in the Annex. So much character! Comfy bed, large bathroom, clean, and amazingly quiet for being so close to Bourbon. The location could not have been more perfect. The Hotel Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is very clean and adorable. The ceilings are very high and the room I stayed in was bigger than I expected. The location is amazing! So close to bourbon st and so much near by. Staff is friendly when you need them and a decent happy hour at the bar downstairs and the food at the café was very very good.

This hotel has been great! The room size and tall ceilings have been a plus. Also it is very close to a lot! The location is so convenient. The café and bar downstairs are both very nice and the hotel staff is out of the way but very nice and helpful. I was also very impressed by the cleanliness!

The price, quality, and location of this hotel is beyond perfect. You really feel the history in the building when you walk in. It feels antique but still hits all the marks expected by a contemporary hotel. Everything is clean, everything works, and it's very comfortable. Being just a few blocks from the Quarter makes everything within an easy walking distance. Staff is ready with suggestions for dining (Muriel's in Jackson Square will always be my favorite) and attractions. I come to New Orleans often, and the Prince Conti will now be my go-to hotel.

Upon arriving to Prince Conti Hotel, we were greeted with a very friendly valet who took our bags to our room and a helpful and friendly hostess. The hotel is right in the heart of the French Quarter where the party is alive throughout the night and is close to many bars and restaurants. Our room was nice and I really liked how historical the building is. The area is a little grungy, but that's what you can expect from rooming in the city. The only complaint about the room is that there was not a mini refrigerator, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the room.

Really cool hotel. Lots of character… friendly, attentive staff. The valet is BEYOND worth it. This location is a blessing and a curse… Don't plan on driving, not car friendly. However! In walking distance to Bourbon street and just about everything in the French quarter. Only complaint is that technology is older (lacking a fridge, outlets, etc. ) but that's what you get for the amazing history!

We had a great stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, our room was clean with tons of character and you can't beat the location as a jump off point for NOLA exploration.
*The Bombay Club is in the hotel too. I recommend stopping in for a drink and mouth-watering appetizers.

The hotel is located a few minutes walk from any French Quarter attraction. The building and architecture have a great feel and the staff are friendly. Our room as tiny, but nice (a bed a desk a chair and no wasted space). The walls are fairly thin so you can hear a lot of sounds from other guests. The provided bed linens while comfortable, were lacking as there were two sheets but no real blanket. Otherwise pleasant stay.

This is a terrific value for a historic French Quarter hotel. Before you book you should know that this is a very old hotel, rooms and bathrooms are smallish but very cozy, clean and comfortable. Its much more like a nice B&B than a modern luxury hotel. The decor is dated but in a quaint vintage style that befits an authentic hotel in one of the oldest cities in the country. The service here is excellent! Be sure to ask for recommendations for restaurants, family outings and special services. Do get up a little early for breakfast in the cafe. They make the best coffee in the quarter and the grits are amazing. The staff is knowlegeable and eager to help. We stayed with our children and felt very welcomed and safe. The location was excellent we were within walking distance or a short Uber ride from everything we wanted to do. We will definitely stay here again!

The location of this hotel was great and for the price, it worked well for what we needed. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately
However, a piece of jewelry was stolen from our hotel room. I notified the front desk and they handled it well. It was referred to the owner and they said they looked into it, but can say with certainty exactly what time housekeeping was in and out, and my necklace was gone. The management does not take any responsibility for their staff being dishonest. So I would recommend being very particular about what you leave in the rooms there.

The staff were very friendly. Right next to Bourbon St. Food, drink, and entertainment are very close and in walking distance. But because of this, you will hear noise from the outside almost at all times.

This is our second time staying here and will most definitely come back! Love that the rooms were cold and cozy (always a plus)! It gives you that great New Orleans feeling with the original architecture and southern hospitality! We have recommended this hotel to family who were very satisfied and we will definitely recommend again!

You can't get much better when it comes to location. Feet off of Bourbon St. A few minutes walk from Café Du Monde. I have never stayed in an interior room but was pleased with mine.

Wait was long for a party of 6 for brunch on a Sunday. The server wasn't friendly. The food was delicious! Big portions! I ordered the chicken mushroom savory crepe with an espresso topped with whipped cream.

First and foremost, we had signs on the door, and being a night auditor at another hotel, I didn't see a problem with this, but with that being said, a worker came up and asked us to remove the signs, we did with no argument or hassle, but than assisted if we put them up again he will call the cops on us and we will be arrested. Really, was that necessary? We just paid 1900.00 dollars for 4 nights and we were threaten like that. My father-in-law took me here for my first time, me never getting in trouble with the law, threaten to be arrested, while just a simple, please sir, our hotel does not allow that would of been suffice. And where in the rules we received, does it say we couldn'thave signs up, because if it did and I missed reading it before signing the sheet given by your Hotel, I'm truly sorry. Second, maid service and hotel maintenance. Our sink was clogged up the first time we used it, we informed the front desk in which they did fix it a few hours later. Also in a 4 night stay, they cleaned our room 1 time, and my father-in-law had to go down and get towels one day. Lastly, there was a bad wind day on our third night in which the flag post outside our window broke, and was banging on the side of our hotel all night. We also informed front desk and maintenance, and they told us we can pack up and move rooms. We had 2 people in that room, bought souvenirs and a bunch of other stuff, we declined that offer, but they did not fix the problem.

Friends and I came to NOLA for Mardi Gras and had an issue with where we were supposed to stay and the prince conti came to the rescue at the last minute! The room was gorgious! Exposed brick, huge windows, abs right by bourbon street. The only downside, it was freezing and there wasn't a comforter or blanket on the bed, only a sheet and blanket. Overall this hotel was beautiful and I wish we had stayed there longer.

This is a great hotel that is very well located! They will valet your car for you so you can park and take in all that the quarter has to offer. Beds were super comfortable and the room was very nice! I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in New Orleans.

Decent shape, definitely an older hotel. Thin walls. Nice people, and the cafe attached to it is good.

Pluses: Free fast Wi-Fi, comfy bed, room nice enough, very central to Bourbon street (maybe not a plus) and close enough to most French Quarter stuff. Minuses: Small place, small-ish rooms (smaller bathrooms), no view from my room at all. Elevator and the rooms' bathroom get a touch stuffy since neither seem to get A/C. Other thoughts: Signs imply they may be up in my business if I happened to bring somebody back to my room. Glad I didn't drive (I believe it's paid parking and driving in the French Quarter looks like a nightmare). There is a small cafe (not open evenings) and I haven't checked out Bombay Club yet, but otherwise there's nothing else to the property — no courtyard or any other amenities one might hope for like a gym or pool for example.

I stayed at the Prince Conti the weekend before Madi Gras. The energy levels and the vibes were thru the roof! Who Dat? Who Dat?! This hotel has an old school New Orleans charm. The location was perfect, right within the French Quarters a walking distance to everything and to the infamous Bourbon Street. I booked the junior suite for three nights. The furnishings included a nice size living room area a TV and a sleeper sofa separate from the bedroom which also had a TV in its room. The suite also included a microwave and refrigerator area. The bathroom was small but stock with decent bar soap/shampoo/conditioner. Strangely the location of our room (Room 101) left us without a window to the outside but a window to the hallway. The sofa bed was horrible to sleep on you'll feel the metal bars pressing on your back that's how thin the sofa mattress was. Our room key was not a magnetic key card but an actual set of keys. The hotel offers complimentary continental breakfast with not much of a selection. It consist everyday of your basic pastries such as muffins, danish and dry croissants. They also offered orange juice/milk/coffee/tea and fruit. But none the less it was nice to have a cup of O. J or tea in the morning to take back to my room. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Prince Conti Hotel. The price was affordable with ample space for the 4 of us. I definitely recommend booking a suite room. I've seen the regular rooms and they are awfully small for my taste.

The room was very nice. The location superb. With Bourbon street around the corner and still quiet. The only bad thing is that we were lied about the time we could leave the car at the parking, which is pretty expensive.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The night shift staff were very courteous and helpful. The front desk staff during the morning shift was pretty rude. I would def. Go back again. It's so close to Bourbon Street but no loud noises once in the hotel.
