Great hotel and a fantastic location.

This Wyndham property should be given a rating of 0-1 stars. One star because the lights go on the staff is friendly. The halls are dirty, the elevator is very dirty, and the bath towels are small. They clean the room and do not replace the towels and paper goods with the proper amounts. This was not a cheap hotel. For the amount this hotel charges, do yourself a big favor and find a hotel in the area, spending a little more money so that you have an enjoyable stay in Nawlins! The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbor guests talking in their rooms. You can hear “everything” from the adjacent rooms. The first day the room cleanup was skipped and not made up until we pointed it out to the manager Dashone, a very nice person who appears to have his hands tied by the owner (He did his very best). The second night we got back at 5 pm to get ready for a nice dinner and again the room had not been cleaned up. One of the most DISGUSTING issues with this property is that on Sunday morning, I went down to the in house coffee shop to purchase coffee and 2 bagels. They sell bagels with butter or cream cheese. The person working there had 100% NO Utensils at all, and I had to use my fingers (I’m a health professional) to break the stick butter at the counter and then had to take to my room and we had to use our fingers to put it on the bagels. The butter I had to break at the counter was then put back in the fridge at the coffee counter and probably served to someone else.

No hot water — awful desk associates, forced to use valet parking when a parking garage is available. Staff was outside smoking on each time we entered the hotel — very dirty in front of the hotel. Don’t waste your money! Looked like ther room hadn’t been cleaned in days!

Positives-Location was great, room was large & clean, staff was friendly.
Negatives-No pool, no hot water in the morning at 8 am & the guests next to us were so noisy & loud. Even after I called to complain (which is rare for me) it didn't get much better. Booked our room through hotel. Com so rate was fair considering the location. Parking wasn't an issue. We have a 3rd row suv and fit just fine in the small garage for the $20 self park.

The staff is friendly, the rooms are nice and clean. I would recommend it for anyone!

Decent hotel. Nice staff. My one problem is their A/C system in the rooms… Once the thermostat no longer senses motion it turns off after a few minutes. So you will go to bed comfortably and wake up sweating. Called to ask what is wrong with my A/C they kindly let me know it's an Entergy saving thermostat… and it will turn off when there is not movement… Not staying there again…

Such a great experience. The staff was so polite and good to us from start to finish. Checked in with Dashone who was truely so kind and helpful smiled through any question I asked and was happy to help. Checked out with Bria and she was so sweet and helpful as well. There wasn’t any carts and she even offered to have one sent up when on came available. Jamal the valet went above and beyond from bringing the car at the time I requested (I went and asked before we were ready keep in mind there’s plenty of other guests) to taking my big bag and even loading it for me. The room was clean bathroom spacious. If you’re going to stay near bourbon at all expect to hear people coming and going in any hotel. This hotel and the staff was delightful. I had a good experience at this hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly! Hotel location is convenient for walking. The room was decent. I would stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Great location near Bourbon Street and has its own small lot if you drive. Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Noon check-out time is perfect if you need to sleep in a bit.

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend trip here. The hotel is centrally located, with everything in the french quarter within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel for anybody looking for a reasonably priced stay near the french quarter. Moreover, this hotel has parking available which can range from 20-30 dollars a night for self park and 30-40 for valet parking. They offer free Wi-Fi and we have no complaints about it.

Very great place to vacation! It's located within walking distance of Jackson Square Park, the French Quarter, and many other attractions. The one thing I didn't realize before I got there — some cars are required to be valet parked. But even that was about the same price as self-parking and in the end much more convenient.

Accommodated our accessible needs. Nice inside. Could use a clean up of the Windows and the shower. Was good for a night. Tv could use some more channels. Service was good.

It's a nice, basic hotel in a good location. It really just depends on how you want to spend your money. If basic is ok so you can spend money on other things then this is a good place. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.

Don’t bother arriving even 2 minutes before 3pm as they won’t let you check in. They tell you your room isn’t ready. Was about 50 people in the lobby all waiting to check in at 2.45pm. Then when you start to get frustrated at the front desk the room is magically ready. Bad communication between front desk and house keeping I’d say. No pool, no breakfast, $20 a night to park your own car. Rooms are ok so no complaint there. Lift your game Wyndham Garden. All other Wyndham’s have been great.

The service was the sweetest. The employees at the front desk were extremely nice and attentive, and the hotel room was super cool. Our front call button didn't work on our phone, but going to the service desk to ask for items is worth it when the service is as great as this. ™ would definitely stay again.

Unbelievable $225. A night no windows, paper cups, 1 coffee pod per person, a bottle off brand water, no room decor. No resturant, no bar no pool. Nothing. It’s a Holding Tank! Wish I could include pictures. Oh by the if your smoker must stand in front like a hooker no benches or ash trays. My travel agent should be shot! Never again Totally disappointed!

Great location in central business district, close to French quarter. Hotel and rooms are very clean, comfortable and offer lots of space. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Should have 4 stars instead of 3.

Done not waste your time staying here. We paid $30/night for valet parking, then when we got ready to leave there was no valets to be found. Had to wait an hour and a half to get our car. There were no apologies from front desk or mgr. There was a big celebration the night before so I guess the staff decided not to show up for work. We had to go looking for our own luggage trolley. Warning do not stay there. Also, no food in hotel or gift shops. The girl at coffee shop has a bad attitude problem. Coffee was terrible also.

Checking was horrible. There was no place to park and the porter told me I would be ok where I was parked. I got a ticket within minutes. The manager said they would take car of the ticket but almost a month later hasn't. I am now receiving notices from the city. I have called the hotel several times with no help. The hotel ramp can't fit a equinox car which is not big. If they could have this would have not happen. If there where not going take care of it they should have not said they would.

Positive: — very close to downtown CBD, Bourbon Street, Mississippi River. — reasonable pricing — good room service — comfortable stay Negative: — front desk people are not cordial/decent enough. — bathroom wall has damps. — bathroom ventilator didn't work. — a number of rooms are inside facing with no window or with a window through which you can only see the corridor.

The rooms are decorated nice and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are quite dirty however. Walking on the carpet left my feet black. The rooms smell very musty as well. Do not get an interior facing room or all of the drunk people stumbling in off the street will wake you up! The staff is very nice, but seem to be disorganized at times. If you are coming in a wheelchair please specify that you need a roll-in shower. Not all handicap rooms have roll-in showers which can be a problem if you are immobile.

The hotel itself is simple but everything you need and the service was also very good.

I visited with my teenage son and daughter and we would definitely stay here again. The hotel was lovely. Beds, blankets and pillows were incredibly comfy… it was by far the best sleep I have had in a hotel. Staff was nice and very helpful and there is a small cafe that sells coffee and snacks that is open til 2pm and Wi-Fi. Very convenient to everything. They have onsite parking for $20/day or Valet for $30 which I thought was reasonable. We parked and did not have to worry about the car during our visit. We were 1 block off Canal Street and right at the start of the French Quarter. We walked everywhere and felt very safe doing so. The hotel was super clean and rate was reasonable. We loved it!

This hotel was reasonable in price and in a good location. We walked from the bus station and were on foot for our entire visit so this worked out well. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. The couple of things that were not as great were the view from our room (our window looked into a hallway, others faced a mural painted wall) and the walls were pretty thin allowing noise to carry from the hallway and adjoining rooms.

I've only been there for a convention and to visit the coffee bar in the mornings sometimes before work. Lobby is clean, people are friendly and they have this really neat city mock-up in the lobby. It's one block off Canal and three blocks from Bourbon St.

I was there for a Congress the proximity allows us to visit almost everything on foot which is very interesting.
The reception and the availability of the staff is very good.

It was decently clean 4 walls, a bed, and a mini fridge. Fortunately its right off Canal street because you wont spend too much time in the hotel. There is a coffee chop in the lobby, but they have a $5 minimum for credit cards, so bring cash if you just want a cup of coffee. If you self park, you have to either offload on the street or carry your luggage up 2 flights of stairs because there is not an elevator from the under ground garage. The room decor could be best described as a doctors waiting room with beds.

It was very close to the French Quarter. When we arrived the room wad freezing cold. In their defense it was unseasonably cold. The low temperatures caused pipes to break which caused water to be unsafe to drink. I asked for extra bottled water as they told us at the front desk 2 bottles were complementary. I left a note in the room that drinkable water should be included in the cost of the room. We will see if we get charged extra for the water. Heater ran constantly and room temp. Was bearable.

It's a beautiful hotel close to all the action. Nice rooms with big bathrooms. They did hold $160 when they told me it was a $50 hold. But the hold was released after I checked out. No big deal. I will stay here again for sure.

Nice hotel. Close proximity to where things are happening. Parking not too hard to find. Rooms are nice albeit not entirely up to date. Some modern amenities such as USB ports are needed. Multiple warnings about it and a faint smell in the air are indicative of cigarette smoking at some point in the past. Staff are welcoming although not as overly friendly as other places in New Orleans. Really good millennial coffee shop one block away. Only reservation really is the slightly strange configuration with rooms that flank the open center of the floors, our oddly had a window, not sure why you'd need a window with drapes to see out into the hallway, it gives you less of a feeling of privacy. Best are nice and comfortable however and closet/storage space well thought out. Would definitely stay again.

The room was cramped and hot. The toilet paper alone was almost an insult; if I can see my hand through the cheap single ply, for as much as the room costs, something is up. Also, I'd recommend parking elsewhere than their hotel garage. Most of the parking spots are cut by a quarter by support beams, and there's only one perilously narrow and descending path for entrance and exit. Someone trying to get in can't see if anyone is coming down; I had to back up when someone started trying to get in, else we'd have a frontal collision when they started descending. I guess it's okay if you have money to burn and want to be in the middle of the city. The outrageous New Orleans hospitality tax on hotels will see to that. The staff was great. I wouldn't blame them for the problems with this hotel. Likely management and corporate trying to squeeze every last Penny they can. Which is a shame, as the staff really was nice and the area/lobby beautiful.

The location, cleanliness and affordability are the redeeming factors of this hotel. The cons? 1. Walls are paper thin we could hear our neighbors blowing their nose, going to the restroom and every other noise imaginable! 2. The pillows are the lumpiest you'll ever experience. 3. Cafe on first floor is cash only.

The location is within walking distance of most of what you want to see in New Orleans. It took me about 30 minutes to get to the Ernest Conference center by foot which is a nice enjoyable let walk. The outside of the building honestly looks grey and not attractive but the inside is gorgeous. Don't be concerned. The room was perfect. A nice tv, ironing board and iron already supplied and a fridge which has been turned too high and is freezing all my drinks and food haha. The employees are all very friendly, helpful and patient.

The room I got on the fifth floor (top level) was surprisingly spacious with high ceilings and am extra large bathroom. My dog loved it since we could run around and play. However, the shower head was loose so it sprayed water at my face every time I tried to turn it on. Any toiletries like toothpaste you have to go down to get from the from desk. They tried to upcharge me $20 per night to switch from a 2 doubles to a king room, and they had 13 King rooms left (heard the front desk ladies talking loudly).

Friendly service. Clean. Parked there all weekend without issues. Room was smaller than average but the beds were comfortable. Reasonably priced.

Compared with the Wyndham in Dresden — that's what I know — a difference like day and night.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Good to very good support with a Cardamage in the hotel's underground garage.

Very expensive for the service offered and the moderate service, but conveniently located in the French Quarter. No breakfast! Many defects in the room.

October 30 through November 2, 2017, I, Dante G. Visited the Wyndham Garden located on Baronne Street, which is on the city of New Orleans. Upon arrival I was greeted by the extremely friendly and competent staff. The quickly and efficiently set me up with a room and parking. I moved to the room and found it to be clean and well kept. It was on the second floor with an inward facing window. The noise levels were kept at an acceptable level. I was I was here during a holiday so I was surprised how quiet it was. Homeless, that room the rest of the city as if it were a set on The Walking Dead, did not Venture into the area near the motel.

Too bad there are no restores. But very good hotel. Close to the French Quarter.

Not bad. Attention to details are important, and not addressing peeling paint can really drag a place down. I don't recall staying at a place that does not have exterior windows, and interior rooms here do not have exterior windows. They do have windows that show outward to the inner hotel. Somewhat strange. The lobby area has some polish and catches the eye. High interior atrium adds to the ambiance. The room is a B — to a C+. Linen was crisp and fresh, and didn't seem worn. The blanket was heavy and durable. The mattress was firm and not saggy. The pillows were full size pillows. One is enough for anyone. They were too stiff and firm for my liking, I prefer a pillow I can manipulate to my liking. The bathroom was nice, clean with nice 100% towels and cloths. Some of the shower fixtures were loose, which contributed to the C+ rating range. Granite counter and floor contributed to the B — rating range. The interior halls smell cleaned and kept up. The light fixtures are attractive, though I wouldn't mind a brighter bulb. The walls could be more sound proof; we could hear one guy snoring. That want that bad though. The hotel is within blocks of just about anything New Orleans has to offer. You don't have to drive your own vehicle. If you do drive, be prepared to pay for parking. The trolley is adequate transportation for less than 2 dollars PER DAY. Otherwise you can walk anywhere, Bourbon Street, Canal is 1 block away, the French Quarter, where ever.

Not the greatest hotel, but clean and well positioned near the French Quarter without being IN the craziness. Odd varying water pressure, no dresser but an armchair in the room, and poor Wi-Fi made it an unusual stay. Not unpleasant, but would try a different place next time, even though we got a good deal on the room.

Place was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, valet parking was easy cost ($35) because I had a truck but it was worth it. No microwaves in the room but they did have one downstairs. Great location for everything nearby too.

I was only placed in this hotel because the hotel (Renaissance) I originally booked flooded due to rain. This hotel is completely outdated. Both elevators broke down during my stay; they literally had the elderly and handicapped using the stairs due to the elevators being down. My room smelled weird and was not cleaned the first two nights I was there; I had to call and ask them why and of course they had nothing to say. Why isn't there a bar and why does the coffee shop accept cash only? The hotel just seems dirty altogether. Old drapes, worn furniture. Ridiculous! Super sad I had to stay there.

Comfortable rooms, good bedding, friendly staff. No outside window. A little noisy. Very well placed.

The lobby has no ceiling and when people talk loud or yell on the first floor it echoes through the whole building and into the rooms. The doors slam really hard which also echoes through the building. No pool. No restaraunt or bar. Towels feel like burlap. Refrigerator not very cold even though there is ice in the inside back of it. Sink doesn't drain properly. Very slow. On a positive note the room is clean, the bed is pretty comfortable and the location is very convenient. I would not spend this much money to stay here again.

The location was great. The room we were in was large with a king bed and sofa however the toilet and tub were not cleaned thoroughly. Our room was not serviced in a timely manner every day, we had to go down to the desk and ask for it to be cleaned. The AC didn't work well. I wouldn't stay here again. There are enough other hotels in the area for the price.

Really only stayed here because my wife and I were going to stay in the Super 8 and I'm glad we didn't. Even though this place is right next to the french quarter it is pretty expensive and they charge $30-50 a night for your car. Since this was my honeymoon I asked if it was anything they could do for us before we got there and they upgraded us to a king suite instead of a standard king which was nice. Once we arrived, the man behind the counter sounded like he hated his job and used the same dull tone of voice with me the whole time. The room was hot and damp when we walked in and had to turn the AC on. A couple pillows had stains on them and the jets in the tub did not work. Would've been nice to have a microwave too. The good things were that the bed was comfortable, shower was nice, having the mini fridge was nice, having the extra room from the upgrade was great, rest of employees were nice, car didn't get vandalized in the parking garage, and the place is very pretty on the inside. More so sitting at 3.5 stars instead of 3.

Small rooms. Very uncomfortable side couch. Yeah im the odd one out when I let my aunt and parents take the beds. Upgrade the side couch/seats and it would by 5 star. Otherwise great weekend.

My first time to New Orleans and this Hotel was the worst! The rooms were dirty and had to be moved 3 times. 1st room was muggy and the comforters had hair and makeup on them, 2nd, there was a foul smell coming through the vents so strong we had to be moved. Finally to a suite because they felt bad. After that, still this room was filthy (dirt ring and hair in the tub) we just gave up! Just never going to this one again, otherwise Wyndham's are usually pretty good.

Amazing location but that's about it. Unfortunately it's going to be my first and last experience with Wyndam. The staff is friendly, but the overall workflow is disorganized and the service is not consistent from a staff member to another. The Wi-Fi does not work unless you're in the lobby. Upstairs, it works very sporadically (chunks of 3min then nothing for the next 10), at best. If, like me, you're a traveller who books hotels based on included Wi-Fi, don't waste your money. Last but not least: if you don't actually need it, do NOT ever accept the accessibile bedroom. Actually make sure you specify you don't want it. We had minor water flooding in our bathroom (the shower drain was clogged with hair! ) and they could not (would not? ) let us get another room although we stayed 4 nights. The curtains and carpets were dusty enough to trigger my allergies. This place could work for someone who stays only one night and just needs a bed. That being said, ig you get a fare over 75$, it's definitely not worth it. For longer stays, let's just say our room just doesn't give you that "back home" feeling after your day out exploring. I peeked at other rooms and some seemed more decent than ours.

Worst customer service you can imagine. Snobby front desk attendants. And rooms are never cleaned. They make the bed thats it. They refuse ro take your trash out, we have to keep putting it in the hallway so they get rid of it. I stayed here for 7 nights on a business trip. My boss extended our stay through price line and had a confirmation number and they would not let us get back into our room until it showed up on "their system" even though it showed us on arrivals. Asked to talk to the manager and she said she was the manager. Even though she's wasn't, she was the Front Desk Supervisor. Had to sit in the lobby and was refused access to our room while the stuck up lady waisted my time. She said it wasn't bad customer service on their part cause we bought the tickets on Price line. Worst customer service ever! Brittany is the ladies name just so everyone knows.

Great location for all mardi gras events. Very secure and clean.

I don't understand where the negative reviews come from. Let me tell you, I am a VERY PICKY, PRISSY, TAKE NO MESS kind of girl and the Wyndham Garden Baronne exceeded my expectations and then some. I almost cancelled my reservation with them because a friend and I decided to arrive into NOLA on Friday-Sunday versus coming in on Thursday. I called them on Wednesday and was told that I would still be charged for Thursday anyways, even if I did cancel. This was no biggie to me because I used a gift card to book the room on Hotwire and even if I did cancel and they attempted to bill me, they wouldn't have gotten very far! I did find a room on canal for the same price for 2 days which equaled the total amount I was to pay at WGB, but since their check in time was 4pm and we were going to get into NOLA early early Friday morning, I stuck with the WGB since we could come in and have a room ready and waiting for us anyways. The room was clean. Thankfully we had one that faced outside (there are rooms that are centered around the corridor — they have a window looking out into the hallway, not sure if they have a window facing outside as well… But I'm going to say that they don't because there's a parking structure attached to that side of the hotel. There were enough towels, the bed was comfy, everything was clean (as I said before).

The rooms are large and very clean. The service is excellent. Close to everything in the city.

The sign to parking says check in first before parking. So this means that there is no where to park to go in to check in. It is very confusing for a first time guest. The room was big and nice. The bathroom looked nice but did NOT smell nice. Parking was $30+. I got the room free with my points. I'm very happy that I did not pay the reg room rate for all of this trouble. It is certainly Not worth it.

The hotel leaves a lot left to be desired. While the rooms were clean and dining and nightlife is all very close, that was about the extent of anything good. The bad: The walls are extremely thin; the staff is aloof and disinterested in a high level of customer service; and the wireless internet is horrible. I come to New Orleans twice a year with a team of 5 people for work and none of us were able to get any stronger than 1 bar on their wireless internet and that was spread across 3 of their floors. If you're here for a bachelor party, it's a great stay. If you're here for a family vacation or work, I would highly suggest staying elsewhere.

The staff is very friendly and they eased my anxiety about traveling to a new city. The hotel is in a great location with wonderful rates. It was clean and pretty on the inside, my family and I had a blast we all agreed to book next month at this hotel again due to the fact that it is closed to everything.

I stayed at the Wyndham Baronne 2-5 July 15, during the Essence Festival. The one undeniably great point about this hotel was location. I parked my vehicle upon check in and did not move it until check out. The front desk clerk was pleasant at check in and check out. This is the end of my positive fedback. Everything else about my stay was horrible. The parking garage is a nightmare. After the parking fiasco, there was a putrid odor in the stairwell that I had to encounter the several trips that I made back and forth to my vehicle was a cross between wet dog and urine. After exiting the elevator to go to my room, there was a constant odor of smoke in the hallways, and I clearly remember signing a notice at check-in that smoking was prohibited. I unfolded a towel to wash my face and long black and blonde hair (s) fell from the towel (s) on three separate occasions. My room contained a chair with a broken arm, the bathroom was not clean and smelled of mold and raw sewage when the water was turned on. The walls were paper thin. I could hear conversations on either side of me and someone's cell phone vibrating in another room woke me up because it was so loud that I thought it was in my room. I departed my room at 8 a. M. And was out until 3:30 and returned to take a nap. Housekeeping knocked on the door to clean my room at 3:45. I would highly discourage staying at this hotel with children.

I purchased my stay on groupon for Thursday 03/02/15-03/03 and it was advertised for 89.00$, after I confirmed the purchase it became 108.00$, and finally after paying for parking in the very awful garage, it came to be 130.00$. The staff at the front desk were okay at best. The rooms were disgusting and smelled like a sewer. The beds were actually extremely comfortable. One of the house keeping staff members walked in on my sister changing after she shouted not to come in multiple times. We spoke to the manager several minutes later at check out and she said she would speak with the staff member immediately. The only other positive thing I can say is that it is very centrally located and relatively cheap. However, you are so much better off just booking a slightly more expensive hotel or booking an air bnb! I STRONGLY recommend air bnbs.

We purchased 3 nights on groupon before checking the reviews. (I usually DON'T do that. ) I was pretty scared after reading the ones in the last several months — even considered cancelling the reservation — groupon was very helpful in letting me know I could within 4 days of res. We did get a great deal and the price was amazing. We knew that we weren't going to be there too much the four days — New Orleans does that to you. Lol. So we decided to keep the reservation. I AM SO GLAD THAT WE DID! The hotel was in a perfect location — two streets from Bourbon St and a few blocks away from the Superdome! It was quiet despite the construction across the street and there were several restaurants/lounges within a couple hundred feet. Our flight was an early one and our ride took us to the hotel right away. We tried to check in but was told that they did not have clean rooms just yet. They informed us that they could check our bags for us while we waited or we could go explore New Orleans as they got the rooms cleaned up. We visited the Aquarium in the French Quarter while we waited. We did not utilize the parking garage but did see the issues that could come from using it. Our room was ready after lunch and the aquarium. We went upstairs to a great room. The room was clean, very chic. We did thin that the 32" TV should of been at least a 42" but we didn't watch it much anyway. The scenery wasn't too bad either, we could see the church at the corner that was amazing!

For starters, we booked this hotel at a very good rate and it is located very centrically and close to the French Quarter. With that being said, there is absolutely NOTHING else positive about our stay. First of all, the manager was not there. This was not a huge deal at first because we did arrive close to midnight. This became a bigger deal when we were being charged more than out confirmation email stated. Since the manager was not there we just had to wait. Next, one of our bedrooms smelled incredibly moldy and there was female makeup on one of the pillows. We were able to move past that until we saw a cockroach come in between the door and bed frame. This was the room my in-laws (celebrating their 30th anniversary) and she is TERRIFIED of bugs. Especially cockroaches. When we called to get a new room they said nothing could be done because the manager was not there. The lady at the front desk was also kind enough to suggest we deal with it because, "This is New Orleans. " Needless to say she slept about 30 minutes all night. The following morning we asked for additional towels for one of the rooms. These could not arrive any sooner than 9 AM for whatever reason. We decided to cut our stay short and just move to another hotel because we were obviously not going to enjoy our stay in these moldy, insect infested rooms. The new person at the front desk said that they were in fact not a Wyndham hotel, but rather a franchise that just pays to "use" the Wyndham name.

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! Close your eyes and imagine the worst hotel possible. Now open your eyes and witness Wyndham Garden Hotel! Upon arrival, we were “greeted” (insert extreme sarcasm) by the extremely rude and unprofessional staff. In fact, when my friend questioned the receptionist about what all transactions were being swiped on her card, the woman at the front desk proceeded to tell her very rudely, “hold on, and let me finish what I’m doing. ” After a good 30 minutes of waiting to be checked in, we proceeded to enter the parking garage which was more of an underground sewer than anything. The parking garage which charges twenty dollars a night is a complete rip off. First off, there is only one way to enter/leave. Yes you read right! Once you are in the parking garage you will then wonder how it’s even humanly possible to park your car safely without hitting one of the many poles and tightly packed cars. As if the parking garage isn’t bad enough, there is no elevator to get out of the garage, which means you must lug all of your belongings up two flights of stairs before you can get to the main floor of the hotel. Once in the hotel we proceeded to our rooms which looked nothing short of a dungeon. Between the nine of us, we had two rooms. In the first room, upon opening the door my friends were greeted by some not so friendly roaches and a window that had a view of what looked like section 8 housing.

I booked this hotel for 2 nights for 2 rooms. First off, the front desk was extremely rude when I asked her to explain several of the additional charges. The parking was a HORRID! We were directed to a one way in one way out basement garage. The cars were cramped and there are so many poles in the garage it is nearly impossible to even fit without scratching your car. The hotel room smelled like bleach and the custodial staff was arguing outside of our room. We had lipstick, make up, and hair on our sheets and we had to go to the desk to get more sheets. We had to go to the desk to get extra towels as well. For the price of this hotel, IT IS NOT WORTH IT! I will never be staying here again. All the bad reviews are true.

I read the reviews for this hotel prior to my stay (but after I had already booked via groupon) and I was a bit nervous; however, after arriving and staying for two nights, I have to say that my overall experience was a positive one. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the location was great. It took my wife and I four minutes to cross Canal street and get to the French Quarter from the hotel. One drawback to the place was the lack of continental breakfast, which would have been nice, but there is a diner on the premises with normal diner prices. I did not think they were outrageous. Parking was also a bit annoying since we had to pay $20 + tax to park in a cramped underground garage, but it's a big city so I suppose it's pretty standard, and after walking through the French Quarter and seeing some of those parking prices, 20 started to not seem so bad. With the price we paid with our groupon, I would definitely stay here again.

If you don't mind cheap hotels and use it only for sleeping, this one is OK. The location is the best I can say about this hotel, it is very centric and you can walk everywhere from here. The staff is terrible, making you fell — Unwelcome — as soon as you step in to the lobby. When I arrived to the front desk, a couple of the staff were trying to figure out the password to turn on one of the computer, about 6 or 7 more staff members including the manager, were coming in and out and nobody asked me if I needed any help, not even good morning, after 15-20 minutes one of them came in turned on another computer and checked me in with a very stone face. The hotel is under remodeling so they are upgrading carpets, bathroom fixtures and air conditioning units. The water pressure was excellent as well as the air conditioned. Wi-Fi is a joke, is the equivalent to the dial up AOL from the nineties, if you get the signal. In conclusion I would say this would be a better place if the owner replace the whole personnel including all the managers.
