Nice, Convenient and Pet Friendly Hotel! me and pup had a good night sleep but no pet area. Computer at Business Center didn't allow me to print out the paper work so I had to sent my personal doc to the front desk lady to print it out. Thank you lady.

I have contacted their staff so many times they have triple charged me for my room and will not fix it, I don’t like to write a bad review but they will not fix it and I have contacted them 3 times. I have the reservation to show what we are to pay and they still just have messed up and can’t get management to fix it. I would be happy to take this down as soon as they charge the rate we agreed to.

This has been such a great trip! The staff here has completely made my experience from Rosie, Pernila, Jessica, Robert, Jamaal and so many more that my brain can’t remember right now. Thanks for the great suggestions and helpful tips! When we’re back in November, I’ll be returning!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly and had wonderful customer service. Very close to bourbon! right by French quarter also rooms were nice with views.

This bar has a great, centrally located spot. The bartenders are friendly enough. They serve drinks for in the bar and also to go. It’s so crazy that New Orleans encourages you do drink outside as you’re walking around. But this bar will make you a great drink for on the go! It’s next to quite a few good restaurants and is far enough away from the French Quarter so you can feel relaxed a little bit.

Great location! Super close to canal street, breakfast not so good but in NOLA you have tons of options. Room design was super modern and minimalist, awesome view. Cons: Bathroom was too small, sink was outside of the bathroom so if you are sharing the room is not such a good idea. Pros: Location, great bar menu and good prices, modern rooms.

We had a four night stay. We have previously stayed at this hotel and had such a great experience we decided to stay there again. I’m now questioning my decision. Everything was fine until Thursday evening. Apparently they booked a private event. Unfortunately for us that meant not being able to warm up our dinner in the microwave downstairs. There are no microwaves in the rooms. I called down to complain; only problem was that the event was so loud that the staff answering the phones couldn’t hear me at all. So I had to go down to the lobby. At no time did any employee of the hotel express there sympathy for our issues. It seemed that the staff was very young and not all that mature. The one person we did recognize and only saw part of one day and that was the concierge person. She was able to help us last visit but she wasn’t there this time. Only saw her for a few minutes. Also, last time our room was immaculate. This time we found wrappers under the bed and it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. Too bad too. This was a great place to stay. I should also mention the pool area. We were enjoying the pool when a hotel worker came out and said we were probably going to have to leave the area because their customer is filming and want to use the pool. Thankfully for them they didn’t use it. To me as a paying guest of the hotel that was just plain wrong. We are also paying guests and should not have been treated like second class citizens.

I visited the bar while we were walking NOLA and let me say perfection. I had the sweetest bartender ever down there named Scott H. Let me tell you he was wonderful! That boy was superb and we could not have asked for better service, better conversation, and better knowledge of where to go and eat.

Very nice hotel with modern decor. Located pretty close to Canal Street. Lobby bar open late and has a few games on the tables. Would stay here again.

Very cultural and family friendly during the day as long as you stay off Bourbon street. Night life is very fun for 21+

Rooms are very spacious and atmosphere of hotel is great. Everyone there is really helpful and friendly. Never being to New Orleans, we had lots of questions and the staff was always willing to help.

Nice clean hotel with modern artsy furnishings. Staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and had a comfortable bed. Nice lounge area as well if you didn't feel like leaving the hotel for a happy hour or drink and a snack.

It’s very pretty. But I prefer more conveniences. It’s the little the things that bug me like no place to hang my hand towel and tiny little mini fridge. There were a lot of amenities I didn’t see or use Bc I had no idea where they were or if they even existed. Plan to do a lot of waiting since the room rates are so low they are very busy.
The Valet situation is horrible. Waited 10 min for someone to take my car then 1 hr from when I gave them my ticket until I had my car back. If you know check out is at 11 wouldn’t u have multiple valets working and not just 1? Seems like common sense to me but hey what do I know…
Pet friendly with no pet fee just sign a waiver & hope ur pet is willing to contribute to the NOLA smell by making 1 & 2 right there on the cement sidewalks.

Friendly and helpful staff. Awesome common spaces to work, relax, or have fun. Rooms are large and to the point. Great place that's ideally located to CBD and French Quarter.

I had an excellent stay here at Aloft in late March/early April of this year. Lindsey and Paola were especially kind and helpful, giving me hints, suggestions, and even marking up a map for me! I had excellent service from these 2, and they were a blast to chat with. My room was very nice, the snack selection in the lobby had a wide variety suitable for all dietary restrictions, and the location was just far enough away from the Quarter to be quiet, but close enough to walk there quickly. I will definitely be back at this Aloft next time I'm in NOLA.

Really nice bar with live music. I came by to meet a friend who was staying in this hip, upscale hotel. They had a band in the evening that was pretty good. I like the location, just outside the madness of the French Quarter. It also made a good place to wrap-up with a nite cap.

I've stayed at the Aloft twice and have enjoyed it both times. It's location is convenient and I can easily walk to the places I want to visit. The staff is friendly and the bar inside the hotel is nice as well.

Wanted to write a review for Stacey the concierge, because she was absolutely lovely to work with. She is a local and had great recommendations on places to go for food and entertainment. Great experience with the hotel because of their friendly staff.

I love the Aloft. It's a pet friendly hotel that gives your dog a minute ease when you check in. Make sure to let them know what if you bring your prep. I'll bring a bowl and a bed for the dog. The hotel rooms were clean and modern looking. Upon arrival we did have a bit of trash in the hallway but it was removed within a day. I love that use Bliss back products. I'll definitely be back in the future.

Solid quality hotel, especially for the price, and trendy to boot. Plus it’s near all the action without being swamped (pardon the New Orleans pun) by the Bourbon Street crowds. Rooms were clean and well designed, staff was helpful. The small pool at night time was a real treat, pictured here, though we wish it was open later so we could’ve relaxed after a long night out late.

I will be coming as many times as possible. The service is excellent, the view and location are fantastic and you must meet Scott the bartender on the hotel who is basically the coolest dude you’ll meet! Also the chicken wings at the bar ARE EVERYTHING. Ask for the green tea shot, the aloft mule, and a good tequila shot. Awesome place!

The hotel is wonderful and most of the staff are great. Did not appreciate pet names such as "baby" and "sweetheart, " and jokes about my perceived age while I was at the bar, in hotel. There's no need for that. You may call me "miss" or "ma'am. " I believe the bartenders name was Lawrence. I would probably stay again, but would certainly not visit the bar.

Aloft is nice. Downstairs bar is great. My room although a King bed was pretty small. And had no window. Loved the restroom very updated and modern.

Great stay. Room had a fridge, lots of cable channels, spacious shower that could probably fit 2 people, room safe. Staff was very accommodating to our needs. Far enough from FQ to avoid crowds, but close enough to return promptly and see the sights. Also the most affordable option when I was researching.

I thought that the hotel was good. It was in a very good location. Right across Canal Street was Bourbon Street. So it was definitely walking distance. No service there was very attentive. They did not have the staff that I thought they would have had at the bar to be able to handle the crowd that showed up. So there was a lag and bar service. But overall it was good. We had a maintenance issue with our room and they got us another room one soon as I could. And God bless food and drinks while we waited. Which was very nice of them.

Trendy and chill. Late night games in the lobby til 2 a. M. Near the bar. … drinks and Jenga anybody!?! Sweet little pool on one of the upper floors on the side of the building. Seriously cool. Literally everyone that stayed here seemed to enjoy it, people were coming and going all night. We strolled to the Quarter late at night and the staff was wide awake as we came and went — they offered suggestions about local food and fun and no matter what state the guests were in I saw no judgement. It is beautiful but beware the parking is extremely limited and valet can be costly. The rates are great compared to other establishments and the location really makes the $145.00 valet a fair deal (bear in mind this covered approximately 2 days and 3 nights).

Windowless room has pros/cons. Ultimately prefer a window so as to not think I've slept through the day every time I wake up. Valet and concierge were friendly. Room could use some updating. Very dark with no windows or overhead lights and had one bulb out along all the wall. Tap at sink sprayed water every which way if turned on high. Fridge located directly under sink so it got kicked alot with 2 people trying to use the sink area at a time. Only a couple blocks from the French Quarter and within walking distance. Fairly quiet but I was here during the week. All in all, not terrible but not great. Wouldn't complain if it came up again on the Hotwire lottery.

Convenient location to all the big draws. Spartan amenities — fine if you're on the go like we were. Clean and comfortable. I loved the big shower. The rooftop pool is a good place to recharge.

Very nice. Enjoy my stay everybody was nice with a smile. Had a bar connect to it. A pool table and snack bar in the lobby. I would stay again. And it was walking distance to the game and bourdon street.

The fire alarm malfunctioned at 3a and we had to go down 11 flights of stairs with all the other guests and our dogs for nothing. The alarm continued to go off periodically through the night and there was nothing to be done until the morning. Besides that, I absolutely love the place! The location and ease to get around town was a definite plus.

Beautiful place to stay! Loved the high ceilings and exposed brick. The only caveat is it's proximity to a tram line, so you hear and feel it going by all night pretty loudly. Other than that very luxurious experience!

Excellent location. Friendly, helpful staff. Cute hotel with a fun flair. Pet friendly & they gave us a water bowl, dog biscuits, & poo bags. I did have to ask twice for an extra blanket… first time received extra towels & second time extra sheets. Our air conditioner vent blows right in the bathroom leaving the rest of room warn. Otherwise, love this spot.

From the moment we drove up to check in to now, the service has been excellent! Valet parking for our Jeep ($39 daily), and the valet guy took our bags up to our room, got ice for us and let us ask a few questions about the area, (I tipped $10)! He was very pleasant! The hotel is very welcoming, good atmosphere, clean rooms! We have stayed with Aloft Brand before and loved all of our stays! We are members of Starwood and we love it, they have great hotels to choose from and always in the best locations for people like us who travel alot. Very pleased thus far!

This place is awesome! The location is great! Walking distance to many places including the Superdome and Harrah's. The bar/lounge atmosphere is nice and they have games to use while you're hanging out. Our room felt very open and not cramped at all. We also had a pretty view of the city too! The beds are very comfortable, which is not common in many other hotels, didn't feel stiff the next morning. You can't go wrong with staying here for you're next trip, we had a great experience! We will definitely be back!

I visited The Aloft on Thursday during happy hour
and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The bartender Molly was able to recommend a cocktail the Wild Blueberry High Ball that was great just as Molly described and she provided gre service. I also enjoyed live music from "Ceven" with the band which was amazingly entertaining.
I will visit again.

Way trendier than it's website led me to think. A lot of other guests had dogs, which I was not prepared for. The bar downstairs is nice and has a good gin selection.

This place has a very modern style to it. Everything you need is right here. The room is very comfortable with great bedding. The style of the room is more modern than it typical hotel. The elevator is really cool with all kinds of art work in it. It has a rooftop pool. The gym was really nice and clean. Enough equipment to get a good workout in and there's adequate space. The bar was always full of people having a good time. There's also a pool table in the lobby. PROS: Cleanly Excellent location Fun Convenient CONS: Super expensive parking. Don't rent a car when visiting New Orleans.

The concierge, Stacey Guidry, went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful time. Her advice on food and tours was spot on and I credit her for our fabulous lunch. The hotel personnel were great and the hotel itself was beautiful and in a central location just walking distance to the French Quarter. Thank you Aloft Hotel!

This was a great short visit and I love how this location was close to many things. They also had great entertainment for those who chose not to go out into the rain. A free pool table plus live music and great drinks made for a good night. The handicap accessible rooms are spacious and very comfortable. These rooms offer an extremely small refrigerator but NO microwave. They could benefit from offering both. Also only giving guest 250 points for going green seemed like a ripoff. In all the other SPG locations I've stayed at, I have always received 500 points for going green. At this location it is more worth it to take the $5 refueling credit to buy breakfast or snack items. Although these few aforementioned issues were minor and probably only matter to me they were my reason for not giving this location 5stars. I would recommend this location to others.

It's in a great location. Room was clean. Lost half a star due to the ac being locked in at 65. No matter what you set it to it reverts back to 65 after 45 minutes. Also lost half a star due to no vending machines. You'll pay the front desk $3 for a coke. I'm not a fan of nickel and dime strategies.

Visited family staying at the hotel. The pool was great, on the small side but the decor was elevated for a pool area. Really cool bar area with pool table and some board games. The over all feel of the hotel really sets it apart.

My boyfriend and I traveled to New Orleans to celebrate our birthdays last month and Aloft really added to the great experience we had. The hotel is cool and had fun games/pool table in the lobby. The room was clean and modern. The hotel even helped us by applying a special offer I forgot to use when we booked that saved us money. Best of all was the location. We walked just about everywhere we needed to go. If we travel to NO again we will definitely stay here again.

The non refundable room was understandable but disappointing. The real kicker was the TV in the room being mounted way to the right of the bed with no adjustable mount. We're not watching TV a ton here, but it's kind of awkward. Make the hotel this nice and don't include a TV you can actually see from the bed…

Good location, clean environment, rooms are a little small and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Games in the bar and pool in the lobby was nice. Would stay again.

If you're trying to find a really great deal on this amazing hotel I'd highly suggest booking it through the website HotelRaven. Com They have great deals for it on there! Such a perfect place don't have enough great things to say really! The rooms were clean and large! Shower had dispensers for shampoo and body gel rather than those tiny bottles. Convenient and green. Imagine all the plastic bottles saved. Location is fantastic — a few blocks off Bourbon st and walking distance to all the attractions in the French Quarter. 10/10 would stay again.

Went in for drinks with someone I had just met. Very clean atmosphere, but bartender skimpy with my drink and generous to my female companion.

The worst experience since I've ever dealt with a hotel. I booked a hotel and was informed I would not be charged until the day I left the hotel and specifically asked before giving my card information and yet I was still charged and at this very moment I am waiting to hear back from the hotel on if they feel they should refund me even though my hotel reservation was cancelled and I was informed I would get a refund before hand. I had to go through loops and holes to get in touch with the general manager who never responded and still has not called back and then the accounting department who also never returned my calls. I would never do business with this hotel. There's better hotels and this one just isn't worth the hassle.

The is the worst experience of my travel life. This place paired with Travelocity is a complete SCAM. The managers Katie and Christy are some of the most disrespectful hotel managers I have ever dealt with. Rude, unapologetic, and distasteful in their "professionalism" as I use that term lightly. Do not try and cancel your room, they'll get smart with you, talk over you, and attempt to insult your intelligence. I will NEVER reccomend anyone to this place.

Pretty cheap and in a great location to downtown. The hotel room is very roomy and modern, had great front desk service, I would definitely stay here on my next trip to New Orleans.

Wi-Fi is awkward 5. $3.25 for a small bottle of Powerade? Why I loved it 1. $5 coupon when you don't get room cleaning 2. Comfortable beds 3. Nice showers 4. Good pastries 5. Conviently placed outlets 6. Nice staff 7. Great location One more thing… I DON'T CARE HOW URBAN, MODERN, HIPSTER, ETC. You are trying to be, making everything heavy (including doors) really ended up annoying the crap out of me! (my 1 star) (update: last two nights) dropped from 3 stars to 1 why? constant ruckus coming from the ceiling, outside my room, and below me at 1am pissed me off. Oh and just so you know it happened two nights in a row like wtf you think one would fix the mistake. Goddamn that PISSED me off emensly.

I enjoyed my stay here. I was here for 2 nights, on the top floor, and things went smoothly. The room was very modern and up to date, nice to look at. I am a clean freak, it's all in the details, and I didn't find much wrong here… upon my arrival the bed was made tightly, the vanity area had been wiped down, the walk in shower was spotless, the toilet was clean with a fresh unused roll of toilet paper and several others to spare, the mini refrigerator chilled my drinks very quickly. I didn't hear any noise from neighboring rooms at all, you are downtown so there are lights everywhere and they have very good shades to block that out if you wish, the alarm clock and phone were both very modern. I didn't have any need to speak with the staff other than checking in/out, but they seemed attentive and welcoming should I have needed their assistance. This hotel is one of many in the area and it's close to all the New Orleans attractions such as Bourbon street, Canal Street, the Superdome, restaurants, shopping, several office buildings (if you are in town on business like I was) … all within walking distance. I literally didn't see my car until I checked out because everything was so close! Of course there were a few areas that were lacking or somewhat inconvenient: — Self parking is not available, and valet is $39.00 per night ($45 for 'oversized' vehicles) You will be hard pressed to get street parking of any nature.

The worst place you could ever imagine! They have rooms like cages with a bed in it! Do NOT recommend at all! They were so rude and impolite to me. When I asked for a room that has window, they said you didn't mention that in your reservation and that's it and that's how it is! not even an apologize or nice thing to say! And they didn't even had that option in their reservation. I called before booking the hotel and they said it's all the same if you book online or through third party, but when we got there they said that how it is.! I paid a lot just to reserve this hotel, and unfortunately I regret it! The rooms are not similar to those pictures that they are showing on their website! The manager was so rude and just looking from up to me and doesn't want to help at all, just say like she is your boss and she owns this place. I was standing there to talk to her but she ignored me as if I am not there at all and acting like they don't see me. So childish and impolite and unprofessional. I assumed I was a guest there, but by the way they treated,. I regret for each penny I paid. I definitely believe there are very better places and hotels around that you can stay. With better attitude and behaved people and awesome equipments and nicer rooms. I stayed the other nights in Hyatt hotel for the same price and it was awesome and so worth it. I assumed I am a guest here and at least I expected some respect.

I really wanted to love this hotel because of the ALoft chain. I would never stay here again. The first night the fire alarm went off at 0400. They were checking the system it went off again at 1800 we had to walk down 16 flights of steps for them to say false alarm sorry. The pool isn't finished and nowhere near it so they should take that off that they have one. On our 3rd night the ceiling was leaking so they moved us 2 floors down. The ice makers weren't even plugged up for you to use. Not worth the hassle.

When I come to back to New Orleans I will be staying here! Great rate, very quite, great internet, very clean. The building is still under construction as far as a parking garage and pool but they should be done soon.

No bike parking anywhere. When I asked the valet guys about bike parking in the area, they were rude and pointed down a street where I "maybe could check down there. " ALoft, for all its "hip" atmosphere should modernize and be more accommodating.

The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because it was clean. We booked this room a few months before coming in town for a concert. There was not much to choose from, so we booked this room for $400 for one night. We thought since it was newer, it would be really nice and worth it. WE WE'RE WRONG! I have stayed in nicer hotels for half the price! Our room was handicap, so the shower was awkward. Breakfast NOT incuded, you had to pay for that. We were woke up at 6am because of construction outside our window (it was a Saturday). Just overall a bad experience and nothing special.

I just returned monday from an awesome three day stay at this hotel. The staff was amazing especially the concierge and lounge staff. In fact, on the Sat of our stay we were late for one of our evening outings due to clowning around with the amazing bartenders. The facility is amazing, modern, and sleek, it is also very modern. It's a new hotel and it was totally competent in providing my guest and I with all the things we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The location is perfect and hands down the best perk! Close to everything downtown New Orleans has to offer. Would I stay again you ask. He'll I'm already planning my trip.

An absolutely terrible hotel stay. Stay anywhere else in the city. The management is incompetent, and I suspect dishonest. On the first morning I didn't have any pressure in my bathroom. I called down for them to fix it. Came home that night, it wasn't fixed, and my room hadn't been cleaned. I called down again. Day two: even less pressure; I couldn't even take a shower. They told me there was a problem with the city water in the area. Something seemed fishy. So I called the city water and sewer department. Guess what? The city reported full service to the hotel. Definitely something fishy. So I called back and demanded to talk to the manager. She told me it was a city problem, combined with an issue about pumping the water up to the rooms (really, it sounded like a problem with the hotel pump and/or the construction going on and they just wanted to blame the city). It was two days without a shower. I returned at 3PM on day two. My room still handed been cleaned, nor had my other bathroom water issues been attended to. Again, I called down. The manager, Kristi, credited me the nights' room. She told me, "I will personally make sure your room is cleaned today and the bathroom issue addressed. " Guess what happened upon my return at midnight? My room still hadn't been cleaned. The NEXT day.
