The staff is awful. They lied about check in and we missed reservations because of them. Terrible service. How can this be a Hilton Hotel?

We checked in on a Friday, on Saturday our room wasn't cleaned, beds not made, no clean towels wife and I went to the front desk to complain, no towels until Sunday, promised comp, they denied saying.

They have rats at this hotel and the staff are unprofessional and have nasty attitude. This hotel room disgusting and no wear face mask. When I can back to my room all my clothes was all over the room and my hold wallet was gone. And some one been in my room and stole my hold wallet with everything in it then I ask questions they told me I can’t stay here they kick me out and I ask to see the cameras and can they check the key door for me. They didn’t do anything but told me I have to get off the property. I been 03-05-22 — 03 — 07-22 calling this hotel to speak to a manager so on 03-07-22 I speak with Katie and she going say we don’t have no cameras then I ask her about the key card to see who went in the room she still didn’t help talking she can’t. Then talking about I seen the comment about the hotel.

Rooms are very very outdated and furniture is all scratched up and the beds are hard as the floor. This is not what we paid for as a Hilton Honors client. No towels on bathroom but the big ones. Mildew on fridge and windows are so nasty you can’t even see the view. Really disappointed.

If you’re looking for a nice clean hotel, with the minimum of service that a hotel can offer, do not book here. They won’t take the trash, won’t provide extra blankets in winter, and won’t do room service. While we understand they won’t clean the room due to “covid”, it’s really uncomfortable to be in a room for more that 2 nights and don’t get it clean. Also the elevator makes noises all night, so do not expect to have a good sleep.

The suite was nice. But the service could of been better. And the fees weren’t up front when I book the room. Usually parking is free for the hotel that you’re staying at.

The hospitality was great! The rooms were nice & reasonably priced. Also the hotel is in walking distance from the ALL the action on Bourbon Street!

Stayed here for one night, great location and very close to Bourbon Street.

Horrible service, elevators that do not work, 1 inch gap in doors! Terrible water pressure, ice machines not working. No amenities… couldn't even get an extra shampoo! Front desk staff couldn't be bothered. Parking garage was a bigger joke and kind of scary trying to maneuver around in it. Security guards sitting around looking anything but secure. You would be better off at a Motel 6 than this so called Hilton! I am an Honors Member so this was extremely disappointing. Did I mention that they charged us twice? Don't just walk away from from staying at this location… RUN! ☹️

Great service and clean rooms.

Supposed to have 2 connecting rooms which I checked in for on the app. Traveling as a family of 5 so needed them. When we got to the hotel we were told we don’t have both of the rooms that the app told me I had. Rude guy at front desk said app messed up not them and that the hotel has nothing to do with the app. I asked if they could do anything to try to make it right since they messed up. He said no. We didn’t mess up. Got two rooms a distance away from each other on the same floor. The one we should’ve had was larger with a great view. The one we got was smaller and looked right at a building. Only positive were the wonderful people at breakfast. I did complain to Hilton who said I would get an email addressing it. It’s been over a week and still no email. Just left message for manager. Let’s see how long until I get a call back. Funny thing is the room has a sign in it that says something about guaranteed to have a great stay or they will make it right. Lol. I would never stay here again.

Left items behind, no help from staff. Told they would check with housekeeper when she came back to work 4 days later. MAYBE if contemporaneously with my phone call someone had made an effort to items might have been recovered. Guess housekeeping staff doesn’t have a phone. How hard is it to pick up a phone and ask the person did you find anything in the room. Well if she got back to work 4 days later I don’t know still haven’t received a call. Lesson learned.

Worst hotel experience ever. From the time we pulled up to unload our car from the time we left, just awful. The valet driver acted like he didn’t see us as we began to unload our belongings onto the pavement after asking for a luggage cart that never came. We waited over 50 minutes for our food to be cooked at the hotel grill, then it was brought to us and served to us cold by a rude waiter who said that if he re-heated the food it would be tough and change the texture. After dinner we went to our dingy, outdated room and went straight to bed but noticed that there was a damp stain on our bed. Rather than complain again to staff who surely does not care, we removed the hotel blanket and went to sleep. Around 2am 2 drunk men and a woman banged on our door and walked into our room laughing and cursing. They reeked of cigarettes and alcohol as they walked over to our bed and acted as surprised to see us as we were surprised and terrified to see them. They told us the front desk gave them a key and told them it was their room. After a few minutes of arguing with the drunks, they left our room. When I went downstairs to the lobby to complain that this group of people had keys that unlocked our room, they told me there was no record of us ever being in that room and bc they didn’t have us in their system. I told them I booked through a third party and they told us not to worry, they assured us that we would not be billed for it.

Bed and pillows were not comfortable. Elevators did not work majority of the time we were there, always a long wait for them to reset it. The hotel needs some upgrading in the rooms.

DIRTY ROOMS AND THEFT!
The rooms are very worn. Dirty walls, furniture, carpeting. The pool/ patio is a big disappointment. Do not plan on relaxing at the pool if you stay here. Time for a complete update. BUT THE WORST THING IS NOT FEELING SAFE! We are staying with a large group. 3 rooms have been entered without guest permission or knowledge and have been ROBBED of cash! We cannot get a straight answer about how this could happen or what will be done to rectify it.

Nice place friendly people.

I'll start on a positive note, the staff is wonderful here, very helpful, very nice. However, as a Hilton's honors members I expect more from my Room such as it being clean, there being a do not disturb sign a laundry bag, and a clean comforter. I only stay at Hilton's, but I will not be returning to this one.

The waiters there were so personable. I can’t explain how at home that I felt.

I am not normally one to complain. In fact this is my first time writing a negative review on any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I travel constantly and I can “roll with the punches”. I don’t expect much. But our room was dirty. Dirty floors. Dusty. Bathroom not cleaned well. Bathroom floor was down right gross. There were dirty clothes left in a drawer from the previous guest. Housekeeping only cleaned our room once during a 4 night stay. Granted we slept late and didn’t leave the room until 10 or 11am, but still. It’s New Orleans. Aren’t you supposed to stay up late and sleep in?

I made reservations to stay here Jan. 19th. Unexpectedly my father in law passed away on the 17th, and since he did not pass away on the 16th (last day for cancellations) the hotel refused to refund my money and was rather rude in the way it was handled. I called several times, spoke with several people and noone cared about the situation besides stating that they could not make an exception for this situation, even though it was obviously someyhing that could not be planned or helped. I understand there is a cancellation policy, but really? The lack of care from hotel staff and rather focus on their personal financial gain is only more reason why I will never book with this hotel again. Absolutely terrible customer service.

The room was pretty well cleaned. The bathroom was not as well cleaned. The side and walls of the shower needed to be better cleaned. The shower and tub should be updated soon. The plumbing is not allowing the water to be cold. The water was warm on the lowest setting and then hot. The bed covers did not fit well and they were not cleaned well. Spots and other stains were on the bed cover. The food was good and well cooked including the salmon. The amenities like the water and treats are a very nice touch. The staff is pretty friendly and helpful.

Staff was helpful, kind, and respectful from beginning to end. Front desk staff offered family friendly dining suggestions. Room and all common areas were clean and very well kept. Parking at the hotel is Valet only and will cost around $34. There are other parking garages close by.

The location is the best thing this place has going for it. Room was nice, but the ac unit made a clicking noise when turning on or off which sounded like someone trying to open the door. Rooftop pool was nice. Definitely small, but just enough for me. Rooftop view was also nice. My room view was disappointing (walls only), but I chose my room. So I can't say much about that. I only had one encounter with staff. It was in the morning during breakfast. Front desk was dry. One lady was sitting at the desk (as opposed to standing) and the other guy was leaned against the wall on his phone. I asked for bottles of water and he looked as if I was inconveniencing him. The bed was DEFINITELY firm even after adjusting the dial. With all that being said, I'd still stay again just because of location. I'll continue to echeck-in to avoid staff though.

Amazing location! Spacious room. Breakfast was good. Love the rooftop pool. Staff is ok. The ac unit in my room makes a knock noise turning on and off, sounding as if someone is trying to come in the room. I used a separate parking garage, but they do offer self parking and valet. I'd definitely stay here again!

Pristine luxury at it's best convenient walking distance to the French Quarters.

It is an excellent location to get to the French quarter but not be in the middle of the drunk people. The rooms are very nice and the beds super comfortable. I know it is weird me saying this, but the AC actually keeps up with the extreme heat! Other hotels I have been to have not… Only thing is the hot water takes forever to kick in, so start the water, brush your teeth, then take the shower.

The valet service is run by a bunch of charlatans. The sign for 24/hr parking says $20, however these fellas told me that's for non hotel guests only and if I'm staying with the hotel I have to use valet and pay $35. I said it's none of his business if I'm staying at the hotel and he made me look him in the eye and tell him the truth. I lied and went with the $20 self park. What a greedy operation. Also the digital key situation is an absolute mess at this location. At one point they had the wrong room on my account so my physical key opened my correct room while my digital key showed a different room. I decided to test it out and sure enough I was able to open another person's room. I didn't go inside but called the front desk to let them know. Also unable to access the pool with the regular or digital key. Other than these issues the property is super outdated and the room smells like mold.

Pretty darn good! Easy check in. Nice roof top pool. Beautiful views of the city. Mini-fridge & microwave were great. Beds were ok… I guess I’m not a huge fan of sleep number beds. The room was nice though. Snacks for sale in the lobby were nice and not too overpriced. Pro tip: free water bottles in the workout room on the top floor. The street out front did flood while we were there. It was entertaining watching people and cars get through it. We just waited a hour or so and the water receded quickly.

The best beds in a hotel we have ever slept on. Stay was nice, friendly helpful staff. We love NOLA and this was one of our best stays. A little pricey but this was during jazz festival.

Not really to many activities at this hotel but I mean cut some slack it was designed for business purposes and it meets and exceeded the goals of it's category. I saved this part for last to say about this place, I stayed four nights and I got to say the top of this building definitely has to be the absolute best city side of New Orleans you can ask for I mean it's just breath taking standing there and thinking of how small you actually are in this world. But keep in mind no matter how small as long as you travel on God's side your bigger than anything you will ever come to face.

The only thing I didn't like was the pool was super small and no hot tub which would have been great on the rooftop. The pool was very clean, with outdoor pools, sometimes those pools aren't always well maintained. The view was great from the rooftop. Our view from our room was of three brick walls. If having a good view is important I'd pick my room ahead of time if I were you, I think if you're a Hilton honors member you can choose your room, I just forgot to ahead of time. … The location was great, we walked everywhere. Canal Street is just one block over and it's close to Bourbon st as well. There's also an upscale mall and Harrah's casino close by. There's an abundance of restaurants, cafes ect within minutes of the hotel. I also liked that the hotel was quiet and not in the middle of all the action but still close enough to get to everything within minutes. Super friendly staff, very clean, the a/c was kind of loud but that didn't bother me. Wi-Fi was fast, I was able to stream my favorite apps on my tablet with no problem. Parking was expensive but that's typical when you stay downtown in any major city. I didn't drive, I just used the airport shuttle to get to and from the airport. The hotel is also super close to the street car (public transit). Overall I was very satisfied and would stay again.

Loved everything except the pool is extremely small. It's only 4 ft deep and probably 8x8. And there was no hot tub which would have been great on the rooftop. Other than that great service, very clean, close to Canal Street and Bourbon Street and the street car (public transit) One other thing I didn't like was the view. When I looked out my window I saw three brick walls. But if you're a Hilton honors member you can choose your room, I just forgot to. Parking is super expensive everywhere including the hotel. I wouldn't suggest driving unless you have to. We took a shuttle to the hotel which was very convenient because we had a earlier flight and they picked us up on time at 3 am! Other than everything was great.

Great hotel! It's off on a side street and very quiet and convenient. I could walk to the quarters within 10 minutes. Stayed here a few times and enjoyed my stay.

Very nice hotel! The rooms were clean and bathrooms were spacious. They have an evening social hour were you can get drinks. The location was close to everything as well. I really enjoyed the view from the rooftop pool.

The room was large and nice! We had a good view. The pool on the rooftop was very nice! The location was everything! Only complaint I have is parking! $35.00 for parking, is ridiculous! Try to drive around and find a garage that is cheaper. We saw some after we parked. Oh well, next time. There is no free breakfast but that wasn’t an issue.

I made reservations for the hotel for January 9-10 and my husband became ill with flu and strep throat and I attempted to reschedule it for following weekend and because it was flagged for Mardi Gras with non-refundable policy I was not able to cancel (which I wasn’t trying to cancel just simply reschedule) the person I spoke with transferred me to manager by the name of Phillip whom stated I could reschedule the resevervation to following weekend. As I called a couple days later to confirm my adjusted reservation, my reservation was gone and put down as a no show for the original reservation. I spoke with a manager whom answered phone stated basically I did not have reservation and there was nothing she could do other than me paying an additional 400+ dollars again to rebook reservation-I explained my situation to her and she stated she would talk to Phillip and call me back—-never received a call back… Period. I will never stay at this motel for the poor service! Very unhappy for paying $450.00 for reservations that I was not able to use and poor service handling.

Rooms were kind of dusty. We had a suite and a double queen bed room. All the bed Head boards had a lot of dust on them. Other than that the rooms are nice. Showers are very nice; the bottoms don't feel like you're going to step through them. The continental breakfast has eggs to order which is nice. Vallet parking is convenient and quick, under 5 min to get the car out. All in all a good place to stay. Update: My in laws brought breakfast to bed to their young daughter 2 mornings. It took over 24 hours each time to have the plates taken away, even after housekeeping came both morning. Apparently they'll make the beds but the won't take plates. In laws even put their breakfast plate and their late night room service plates outside at about 10pm and they were still there the next day when we checked out at about 11 am (along with another room's plates from the day before too).

Clean, but disappointed breakfast was a separate charge as if the room want high enough. I honestly wish I had gotten two staff members name. One young lady upon my check in attitude was exceptional. The other gentleman took his time, circling locations on the map, giving me information and suggestions throughout my 4 day stay. The other front desk staff was very mediocre. I had an urgent message that I didn't receive from the hotel until the next day. One day my room didn't get cleaned. Upon entering the lobby you have to speak to them. Overall below expectation for a Hilton franchise.

Beautiful large rooms, and extremely clean. The hotel staff we're very friendly. Beds were hard, but not uncomfortable, and the pillows we're THE BEST. Seriously, most comfortable pillows I have ever slept on.

The roof top pool has amazing views. You can see all of downtown you can see the Superdome and you can even see straight down Bourbon Street from the roof. Rooms are very spacious.

Everything was great except there were a few things that could gave been better. We were told we had a sleep number bed and we did not. The next day after they cleaned our room we had no bath towels. All the other towels were replaced but not the bath towels. Other than those 2 issues everything was great.

Comfy bed. Nice view from the roof-top pool! Unfortunately the extensive amount of loose tiles made it feel unsafe and put my whole family on edge. It was nice to have a reasonably priced drink at the cute, tiny bar but, I could have done without the excessive tapping from the valet as I collected my family's overnight bags. Most of the room was clean, bathroom floor was not.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped with a fridge and microwave. There was no view, but the gorgeous views from the rooftop pool helped make up for it. The pool, unfortunately, was not heated and we were unable to use the pool as planned. This was disappointing as the pool was one of the main reasons for my choice of hotel. Finally, when we received our toiletries one night, there was someone's hair on the lotion bottle.

Great, comfortable rooms. The hotel is just south of Canal — easy to get to Bourbon Street & excellent restaurants. Despite the closeness to the french quarter, it wasn't noisy or overrun with drunks. The rooms were well insulated and quiet. Breakfast was great, with good fresh fruit!

No complaints. It is in the French quarter so close to most everything. The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was attentive and they did a great job taking care of everyone. I would definitely recommend staying there.

I visited this hotel on business. It had good clean rooms. Beds were firm but pillows way too soft. Workout and pool on the top floor but make sure you know the hours. Breakfast was an extra charge. I didn't drive but it also seemed like parking was an extra charge too.

Hotel room was great and had a great stay while I was there. Breakfast was also great. The only reason I give 3 stars is that I been check out for more than 2 weeks now and still have pending charges on my account. I was told the charges would be dropped 48 to 72 hours after check out. I've stayed their before and it's always been great. Just the pending charges. If fixed I would recommend this hotel. Great location and great staff.

This review will focus more on the parking for the hotel rather than the hotel. Park at this hotel at your own peril. I have stayed here twice and both times my car was damaged by the parking staff. I want to state I have no bias I was not out of pocket for either damage done to the cars. The staff are flippant, with little concern for damages. The first thing you will hear from them is they need to review the cameras. Unless your car was damaged in a more severe way those cameras will be of little help. If the damage is not visible on the film they refuse liability. Dings, dents, scratches, etc. Will likely not be covered. I have had dings and dents on two rented cars the parking company covered zero. I was told the damage is normal wear and tear. If I did not like this than I should not park with them. As they are the parking company for Hilton at this location you have little options. The hotel manager was helpful in dealing with the parking company on my behalf, but that only goes so far. Damages are dealt with by the parking company not Hilton. The parking staff are curt, flippant, and off putting. They are quick to state the damage occurred off site. The company is self insured which increases their resolve to refuse liability. If you value your car and your time find another way to this hotel. Take a cab, trolley, ride share, walk, but don't park here. If you are driving to New Orleans consider another hotel but know the same company works with most hotels.

Hotel was great, the water was very hot which made for great baths! The bed was a bit hard and my back sure was stiff but locale is perfect and staff all seem down to earth and helpful.

If you enjoy slow service and loud air conditioning that makes a banging sound all night, this is the place for you. We asked for a new room after they inexplicably cancelled our reservations, and the new room was worse than the first. Only good point is the location.

Excellent location, a few minute stroll to the French quarter. Beds and showers are as good as other garden locations. The swimming pool at the top of the 18th floor is great for relaxing. Breakfast and service fulfilled all expectations.

The room seemed comparatively sparse against other HGI hotels. The front desk staff was very pleasant to work withwith, however. I did not experience breakfast or their parking situation, so no comments there.

Location is good and not far from the French Quarter. The lobby is very well done and on the 11th floor. I was using points for a free stay and the room we were assigned had a strong chemical smell so we asked for a room change. The next room next door had a very strong flower smell but we decided to stay in that room. The beds were adjustable with a knob from soft to firm. We were unable to get the beds to become comfortable but being out all day and late into the evening we still slept soundly. Overall a below average experience for a Hilton Garden Inn.

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean, spacious and included a mini fridge and microwave for the delicious leftovers I had. The hotel itself was nice. The check-in desk is on the 11th floor but very convenient and the lobby includes games and a lounge area. Overall, good stay. Great location.

This the worse Hilton I've ever stayed at. First of all. For the price of these rooms and to charge additional 30+ dollars for parking. Then we get our room. Well it's a handicap accessible room. Not that it matters too much. But I'm not handicap. The bathroom is very spacious. But only has a tiny tub. Not sure if the is cause it's a handicap room or not. It had multiple hand rails it. So maybe that's why. But again. I'm not handicap. The room is a nice size for what it is. But. Again. Not done right. The TV is small and so far away from the bed. If you watch something it's basically watching a movie on 19" TV that is 2 feet from you. (this may not matter to most but when I ready chill for the even, I like to watch the tube) Now the bed. It's "suppose to be a sleep number". No it's not. It's some knock off that doesn't work. It took use several minutes to find the adjustment (I was looking for a remote or push button pad) dial. Yes a dial. It built into the side the bed. It changed levels of firmness very little. It was firm no matter what. Last but certainly not least. Our room was right buy the elevators. That was the worst thing about this whole stay. It sounded like air planes flying back and fourth all night. (I know this for a fact cause I live in a area with a international airport, Air National Guard base and a Air Force Base) Sleep at this place was not good.

My clients stayed at this Hotel last week for a Photo Shoot… I called House Keeping for some Extra Hangers and a Steamer. Two of the friendliest, cutest ladies showed up in my room in 10 minutes with about 50 hangers and a Steamer and were so lovely. They were telling us to please call if we needed anything else no problem… Their names were Jasper and Demetris in House keeping. I love New Orleans… :) The Valet boys, The front desk, Bartender all super friendly and nice. Made our job very easy and stress free…

Very close to the French quarter. Room had no view whatsoever but was nice nonetheless. High class service at an affordable price.

First of all, if you're answering phones you should have some sort of customer service experience. OBVIOUSLY this young lady doesn't know what that is because when I called for directions because they closed roads for the parade, she put me on hold 3 times and then hung up on me twice… didn't ask me where I was, or try at all to help me figure it out. I explained that we even stopped to ask the Police to help us get there and she continued to hang up on me. Never got me help. I just waited and waited. I will not ever stay here again.

Decent. Nothing fancy about the rooms. Suppose the high prices are due to location. Wi-Fi sucks. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free cookies and muffins tasted like boxed food. Didn't try the hotel restaurant due to cookies and muffins taste. Bar is small and tacky. Guest areas on 11th floor in lobby are cozy. Small pool. Decent gym.
