The room and the lobby was very clean! And Staff was very friendly and cooperative! I would stay there again and recommend it for someone on a tight budget!

Would have given this Super8 3 stars, but the beds were just plywood with sheets on them. The place was clean, plenty of towels and no weird odors. Nice dark curtains, so Mr. Sunshine won't get your day started to early. Throw a foam pad on the plywood and we might even come back to Marshalltown. Jeff.

Room was clean, basic amenities, decent price. Conveniently accessible from the highway, close to a fair number of restaurants and other businesses. Recommended for value, but nothing particularly special otherwise.

I would never give them a star! We checked for bed bugs when we checked in! Next morning they were all over! They tried to move us to another room and it still was infested with them! Do not stay here! It should be shut down!

Was nicely staffed and refunded my money when found bedbugs.

Only one night stay. I got a nice, comfortable and clean room. I hesitated to stay here after reading some negative reviews. Reservation was easy over the phone. Jose was very polite and even offered me no charge if after checking in I was not satisfied with the room. Front desk people also helpful. The gal even let get some orange juice before checking out after 11am. I am giving 3 stars because carpet walkways and stairs showed several dirty spots and needed more attention. Will come back assuming will receive same service.

It's clean well kept and overall it's just a convenient to stay in for a night or two.

Small, low-end rooms, staff didn't seem to care about us or their job, and no pool. I recommend skipping this place and going to the Baymont Inn on Iowa Ave. It's less than a mile away, they will treat you right, and they have a pool!

It was decent but the non smoking room smelled like smoke. Comfortable beds.

Rooms or dingy, furniture didn't match. The provided safe was sitting next to door on a junk made stand. Needs updated the 90's are long gone.

Not even worth ONE star. My husband has been staying here for 3 months. They overcharged us $50.40 and refuse to pay it back, continuing to make up different reasons on why they won't pay us back, including saying they "Credited" it back to us already. Mia the manager is a HORRIBLE attribute and this should NOT be a hotel ANYONE stays at. They WILL screw up your payment info OVER AND OVER AND OVER and refuse to do anything about it.

We stayed at this Super 8 for two weeks and could not wait to leave. To start off with the pillows and mattresses were horrible and there were burn holes in the blankets. Housekeeping walked into our room and started cleaning while my children and I were still asleep, (with the do not disturb sign on the door! ). To top it off the manager was extremely rude complaining to us about the rate we procured through Best Western for our room, as they own the Super 8. So if you enjoy horrible experiences and sub-par rooms this is the place for you.
