The lady who was working was not very friendly and didn't understand it when she spoke to me.

Recently remodeled. Room was spacious and neat. Front entrance way was being fixed but looked bad at this time. Good value for the money. Would stay there again if in Marshalltown.

Very friendly and very accommodating. Comfortable king-size bed on ground floor for a great price highly recommend.

The room itself was in great condition but I think the pricing was a little to high. If the prices were lower I would always book with you!

A shinning star in the Motel 6 family. Shawn was super helpful. An absolute pleasure.

Room was very modern and comfortable. But the tub was dirty. The fitness room was filthy, with garbage and dirty socks laying everywhere.

Felt like a crack den. My door lock didn't work, the room smelled and the sheets clearly weren't changed. Pretty sure there was blood on the outside of the door. The place was a dump, I half expected one of the crack heads staying there to rob me in the middle of the night.

Very nice hotel, clean spacious rooms, updated well, very good price. Would be nice to see some kind of breakfast.

The front desk lady was super informative and helpful. Loved the location right off of I-80. Close to a number of food chains.

The room was fine but a group of Hispanics were partying all night so I couldn't sleep. I called the front desk (at 2:00 am) but that didn't stop and loud noise. This was the worst nights sleep I have gotten in years and I had a long drive ahead of me the next morning.

I do not remember the name of the hotel clerk who was staffed at the hotel counter the stormy evening of Wednesday July 12, 2017, but she was fantastic, most courteous personable attendant. Very efficient in getting us checked in. Even opened hotel door so we can get our bags into building. We noticed refrigerator in room was not working and she immediately checked on it and quickly assigned us to another room. I want to praise her with more than 5 stars as she was beyond excellent. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, quiet, with refrigerator and microwave, all worked very well for us. Very modern bathroom beyond expectations, though a hair dryer would be a nice addition. I was totally satisfied with the accommodations. If I am in the area again, will definitely stay here again.

We realized the location was 40 miles east of our travel route too late to cancel, so we stayed there anyway even though it was way out of our way. Glad we did, excellent clean room with everything thing we needed. Only problem was the ice machine being empty when we were ready to leave.

Beds are rocking as if they have broken leg shower heads are horrible no pressure.

I was on the phone with the "new manager" Shawn trying to book a room, and he placed me on hold because he was with another customer. (We book here regularly, and have employees stay there majority of the week for months at a time. ) I was on hold for a couple of minutes, and then the phone hung up on me before I could get a confirmation number. I tried calling back several times, no answer. When my employee went to check in to the hotel, he handed the phone to Shawn, who said that he gave our room away because they are "easier to deal with than us" and told our employee he would not check them in. He was extremely unprofessional, and the fact that we have been giving them consistent business blows my mind that he would turn customers away. Needless to say, our company will NEVER book at the Motel 6 in Marshalltown, IA again, due to the unprofessionalism and the lack of courtesy to on-going guests.

Same price changing lier with me. Made my reservation 2 weeks ago with a price quote show up the day of & he says it just went up today. What's the problem? Your a lier and thief I'm paying more elsewhere but I just won't support dishonesty. So any price quote you are given may change when you arrive.

The manager, Pat, always changes the prices of the rooms and will kick you out of the motel if you question the price change. It went from $45 a night to $60 a night!

Great customer service and awesome staff! The manager Pat and the cleaning staff ladies were great! Towels were always fresh and smelled great! Coffee every morning was a good thing to wake up to daily :).
