I am a Marriott guy and was excited that this property was added to the collection in the last year.

It was the early hours of the morning when I arrived at the Surety Hotel in Des Moines on a snowy February night.

Excellent stay at Des Lux Hotel. The property combines comfort, elegance, and personalized hospitality in a way that creates a memorable and relaxing experience.

Lovely and unique boutique style hotel with gorgeous design elements. The beds are comfy, rooms are clean and well maintained. Why 3 stars for location?

We were here for a wedding and it was amazing. All of the staff were wonderful! Especially Bubby. He was so attentive to our table that clearly had some needs.

I stayed here for a work staycation and was sooo happy with my choice. The details of the hotel are all so thoughtful curated, not just in the lobby but also in the rooms!

Reliable quality and clean hotel. The breakfast team works hard to refill the food. Check in was great, we came very late after Luke Combs concert. The only issue is the parking lot.

We spent 4 nights in this hotel, conveniently located in downtown Des Moines, just a bit off the highway. I appreciate that the area outside the hotel and all of downtown Des Moines is so well lit.

Trent greeted us kindly and was a great host, got us a sick room and access to the pool and gym! 10/10 heck yeah! Was in town for work and this worked out wonderfully!

Miss Mary, Miss Maddie, Miss Brittany and Mr Bill are among a few of the personnel in which I had the pleasure of interacting with everyday.

This location is perfect for any event at the Casey’s center. You can walk inside to all the events as well many restaurants so never have to go outside in the cold. Service was very good.

Family stayed here for Christmas! Nice big meeting room that we were able to rent! Walking distance to so many different places for all ages!

Great location! Walking distance to so many things! Nice pool & hot tub! Breakfast buffet was nice & free! The courtyard in the back was a nice touch!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The restaurant food was delicious, the staff were welcoming, and everything felt inviting.

The room was extremely dated. Although it was not dirty, the furnishings looked liked they were from the 1980s. Tthe Capet had a huge stain, Wallpaper was peeling, no usb outlets, etc.

I've stayed in hotels all over the country — from 5-star resorts to motels in the middle of the desert. So I'm judging this one on-par with others of its price and quality.

The service from the Renaissance Savery began at the airport where the shuttle driver, Claude, picked me up. His joy of life is simply infectious and was a sign of a great stay ahead!

Grear for the price appropriately. The shower curtain kinda made the shower a little too cramped as it was an afterthought or a replacement for glass.

The only option to stay in a hotel in Des Moines! The AC Hotel by Marriott Des Moines Downtown has incredible style—modern, sleek, and well designed.

I loved this place. I was going to stay at the Element so I could do laundry but when I called this property to ask some questions they mentioned their suites have a washer and dryer.

I had an awesome stay here for a quick trip to Des Moines. If you prefer the layout of an apartment over a cramped, traditional hotel room, this setup is perfect.

Really impressive modern hotel experience 🏨✨. The property looked clean, stylish, and much more updated than a typical hotel stay.

Excellent stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Des Moines Downtown.

I was on a solo road trip in April 2026 and had the opportunity to spend a Wednesday night at this Embassy Suites in downtown Des Moines. Overall, it was a nice hotel!

I had a wonderful experience with getting into Rowat from Nick, he was very welcoming and helpful! He went out of his way more than once to accommodate my request!

I toured Rowat Loft with Nick this evening and was nothing but impressed! It is my first time looking for an apartment on my own so I had some nerves and lots of questions.

My daughter goes to Drake, so I stay here a 2 or 3 times a year when I come down to see her. Generally the rates are great. Always clean, comfortable, free street parking if you move your car by 7AM.

Stayed here for a week. Overall the rooms are really nice, beds are comfortable.

Everything about this place is perfect — nice units and amenities, very responsive maintenance crew, location, all that. The staff are also genuinely great people.

I have worked with both Cara and Kelly And they are nothing short of amazing. They work efficiently and effectively as individuals and as a duo.

No need to be concerned it’s a great place to stop. Staff are really helpful, breakfast is excellent (it does finish at 9am) it’s mostly a business type hotel.

I stopped by the community on a whim without an appointment, just hoping to get a quick look—and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel incredibly welcomed.

I absolutely love living at Cityville! The housing is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable.

Having seen all the comments about the parking I was a little hesitant because I have a hard time sometimes walking too far.
However, we went for it due to location.

The hotel bed had me and my husband sinking to middle. The rooms need updating and a good overall cleaning. There pool room was freezing but pool warm.

Mariam has been nothing short of amazing, she helped me through my entire move-in process she is quick with communication and such a joy.

I have lived at this complex for a little over a year and have enjoyed the experience.

I have moved in recently and have been very satisfied with the leasing and maintenance team!

I have lived here 2+ years now and love it. Great monthly rent price, and walking distance to anything downtown. Quick bike ride to East Village. Hello Marjorie right downstairs.
