This is a lovely hotel, but finding it was challenging, since the address listed on this page, the Marriott website, and Travelocity are INCORRECT. We entered Champions Dr into our car navigation and ended up at a golf course. All sites need to update the address, which is actually Halfway Road.

Always clean and accommodating. Love to stay here when we come home ♥️

This was our first time here and we were very impressed. We needed to make changes to our reservation and the manager was amazing and very helpful. When we got there I asked for an upgraded room and the request was fulfilled. During our stay my son left some items in his room after he checked out. Debbie from housekeeping was kind enough to collect the items and make sure they got back to him. The location to the stadium was amazing with a lot of restaurants and gas stations nearby. We hope to visit again sometime soon.

Driving with four children across the United States is never fun, and this is our third night in a different hotel, and by far Fairfield Inn and suites by Marriott Marion is the best! Super clean rooms, ridiculously friendly staff, hotel was clean and fresh smelling, breakfast was great, and the beds were SO comfortable! Highly recommend!

Nice, no nonsense, frills. However Clean! Pool was blue water, exercise room being used, offers a continental breakfast. Beds are clean, perfect stopping place for price.

Clean, fast check in. Rooms are nothing special but do not smell. Pool clean and clear water, ADA available for pool! Exercise room with 4 treadmills. Good location. GPS is incorrect location is called the HILLS.

Customer service was wonderful, our room was pretty clean, they had soy milk for coffee in the morning, lots of fruit at the continental breakfast and even served morning star veggie sausage (contained milk and eggs). Our stay was short, so we were not able to explore the workout room/pool, but we rested well and were overall pleased with the experience.

We had a suite that included a king bed and pull out sofa. I believe the king bed was not a king but a queen. I have a king at my house. The breakfast was great and so was the staff. The location was awesome.

It's a classic Mariott! The pool was clean and enjoyable; the chlorine wasn't so overpowering that it ruined swimming. The hotel itself was clean, modern. The room was very nice and comfortable. Everyone who works here is so friendly and makes the stay much more enjoyable.

Easy to get to from highway and easy to get back on. Great shower pressure. Plenty of hot water. Will definatly stay here again on our way to Ohio.

Nice clean rooms, facilities, great complimentary breakfast. Coffee all day, cookies at the front. Tiny store for drinks/snacks/medicine not sure on all categories. A+ would recommend.

Every employee I've encountered has been friendly and helpful. My room is clean, my bed comfortable, and let's face it, that's important! The bathroom is spotless, which I greatly appreciate. I would stay here again.

The Fairfield Inn in Marion has gone through a lot of changes for the better in recent years. I've stayed here on occasion through the past 5 years and as of recently, it is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and in great working order. The breakfast is a nice start to the morning, hot and fresh, with a nice variety. The staff is friendly and take care of anything they can to make your stay comfortable and refreshing. The workout facilities are in good condition and offer a nice touch to the overall stay while in Marion. In the lobby area, the business center offers a nice space to jump online to check emails, get local information, and print up anything that you may need during your stay. The market also has a variety of snacks and beverages to enjoy when you don't feel like heading out in the middle of the night! The location is convenient to the highway, great food, and the nearby shopping mall in Marion. Even when the hotel is busier, parking doesn't seem to be a problem either. Overall the Fairfield in Marion is a great value when traveling through Southern Illinois.

A nice Marriott property to stop at when on a road trip. It's quiet and the free breakfast is quite a pleasent freebie to enjoy. The rooms are clean and staff quickly responses to any concerns.

Manager Mike was very nice. Staff was super friendly including house keepers. They accommodated our needs. Rooms were super nice and clean. Reason for 1 star loss was due to hot tub being cold and very very dirty. The desk clerk didn't seem to concerned and even tried to justify cold was as normal. And another guest was mad as well and said he had complained 2 days earlier. But morning clerk was very nice and said she had called the pool guy. Over all our stay was good just for the money I expect the hot tub to work. I have a bad back so break the weight room or tv. I will return go this hotel and love the Marriott chain.

One of the best Marriott locations I've ever been to. Isn't a very nice town and staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms are incredibly clean it has an indoor swimming pool and a great happy hour. Couldn't ask for much more. Would definitely recommend to anybody staying in the area.

Our room was clean, although a bit small. Very comfortable beds. The drain in our shower was a bit slow. We liked the breakfast, which had a good variety. The pool seemed like it had too much chlorine in it, but not so much that we didn't enjoy it. Would stay here again if back in the area.

Room 235, work out area has a nice bench and dumbbells, didn't use the pool but it looked nice, overall very clean and delicious breakfast. Only complaint was the free Wi-Fi being too slow to stream anything.

Pool had WAAYYY too much chlorine, but rooms were spacious and we'll stocked. Would have been 5 stars if not for the overly-chlorinated pool.

The colors, layout, immaculately clean environment here, along with the cloud-like beds and pillows make for a refreshing, restorative experience. The staff is very friendly and make one's comfort and convenience a real priority. We always look forward to a stay here!

Staff was friendly, place was clean and well lit, breakfast was decent, the heated pool was working and there was a hot tub. Local Marcos pizza delivery was fast! The other guests coming and going seemed in good spirits. Saw lots of dogs staying the night so they must be pet friendly. The dogs were all well pampered so it had us wondering if there was a dog show nearby. The more times we try other places, the more we appreciate Fairfield. They're quickly becoming our favorite place to stop on family road trips. Our biggest complaint about the last location (Clarksville) was they ran out of bananas. Friendly staff there too. It's worth spending a few more bucks to stay somewhere nice and clean and friendly, and not the shady Days Inn where the room door doesn't latch shut.

I thought the hotel was amazing during our stay. It was conveniently located to what we needed. Our rooms were very nice and comfortable. The room service was very nice. The others in our group said breakfast was good although I wasn't up early enough to eat it but it was close to McDonald's.

Very nice! Room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable hotel and the breakfast was really good with a few additional options that I haven't seen at other "free breakfast" hotels. If I ever come through that area again, I would stay there.

Best complimentary breakfast we have had on the road. Edible eggs, vegetarian sausage was a nice touch but pork sausage was good, too. Lots of other choices also. NO nasty "pancake machine "! Room was noisy, lobby air-conditioning ran all night outside our window. No water in the 'market'. Otherwise a decent stay. Thanks for a great start!

Great check in staff and breakfast attendant. Room had a mens pocket comb on floor but otherwise very clean. Love Marriott hotels!

Fairfield Inn & Suites in Marion is a beautiful hotel. They had snacks out throughout the day and then had food and beverage happy hour. Great place.

Very clean, roomy, great channel line choices. Front desk was very pleasant to interact with.

Thr service by the front desk was great. The pool was nice and warm and the hot tub was great. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was quite good.

Last minute booking. Gorgeous new faciloty. Manager set breakfast out extra early since he knew we would be getting an early start the next morning.

Everything was very nice, and the complementary morning buffet was excellent.

Solid hotel, no real complaints. Rooms were clean and all of the usual things were there. This matches the rest of the other ones in the chain.

We go to Southern Illinois once a year to go on the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. I was excited when planning our stay in the Fairfield Inn & Suites Marion because Marriott hotels are very nice. I was very disappointed from the moment I walked into the hotel. I was not greeted. When I went to the front desk, there was only one person in front of me and there were 2 front desk persons working. The older woman that waited on me was not very pleasant at all. Once I gave her my information, the other front desk person began checking in my sister. I was paying cash and my person told me I had to put down a $30 deposit on my room without any explanation. When I questioned her, she became offensive and said I could either put it on my credit card or pay cash and get it back once I checked out. She called a third front desk person to come up and help her. She gave that person my money and said to finish up the checking in. My sister was having trouble with her clerk. She wasn't able to count the cash my sister had given her. She counted it five times before she finished my sister's transaction. By then, the third clerk that had come in to "finish my transaction" had counted my cash several times and started using a calculator to add the cash. My sister's clerk began to help her and neither one could figure out how much change I needed back. I had to calculate it on paper and show them.
